출애굽기 2

1. 레위 족속 중 한 사람이 가서 레위 여자에게 장가들었더니
  Now a man of the house of Levi married a Levite woman,

2. 그 여자가 잉태하여 아들을 낳아 그 준수함을 보고 그를 석 달을 숨겼더니
  and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. When she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him for three months.

3. 더 숨길 수 없이 되매 그를 위하여 갈 상자를 가져다가 역청과 나무 진을 칠하고 아이를 거기 담아 하숫가 갈대 사이에 두고
  But when she could hide him no longer, she got a papyrus basket for him and coated it with tar and pitch. Then she placed the child in it and put it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile.

4. 그 누이가 어떻게 되는 것을 알려고 멀리 섰더니
  His sister stood at a distance to see what would happen to him.

5. 바로의 딸이 목욕하러 하수로 내려오고 시녀들은 하숫가에 거닐 때에 그가 갈대 사이의 상자를 보고 시녀를 보내어 가져다가
  Then Pharaoh's daughter went down to the Nile to bathe, and her attendants were walking along the river bank. She saw the basket among the reeds and sent her slave girl to get it.

6. 열고 그 아이를 보니 아이가 우는지라 그가 불쌍히 여겨 가로되 이는 히브리 사람의 아이로다
  She opened it and saw the baby. He was crying, and she felt sorry for him. "This is one of the Hebrew babies," she said.

7. 그 누이가 바로의 딸에게 이르되 내가 가서 히브리 여인 중에서 유모를 불러다가 당신을 위하여 이 아이를 젖 먹이게 하리이까
  Then his sister asked Pharaoh's daughter, "Shall I go and get one of the Hebrew women to nurse the baby for you?"

8. 바로의 딸이 그에게 이르되 가라 그 소녀가 가서 아이의 어미를 불러오니
  "Yes, go," she answered. And the girl went and got the baby's mother.

9. 바로의 딸이 그에게 이르되 이 아이를 데려다가 나를 위하여 젖을 먹이라 내가 그 삯을 주리라 여인이 아이를 데려다가 젖을 먹이더니
  Pharaoh's daughter said to her, "Take this baby and nurse him for me, and I will pay you." So the woman took the baby and nursed him.

10. 그 아이가 자라매 바로의 딸에게로 데려가니 그의 아들이 되니라 그가 그 이름을 모세라 하여 가로되 이는 내가 그를 물에서 건져내었음이라 하였더라
  When the child grew older, she took him to Pharaoh's daughter and he became her son. She named him Moses, saying, "I drew him out of the water."

11. 모세가 장성한 후에 한번은 자기 형제들에게 나가서 그 고역함을 보더니 어떤 애굽 사람이 어떤 히브리 사람 곧 자기 형제를 치는 것을 본지라
  One day, after Moses had grown up, he went out to where his own people were and watched them at their hard labor. He saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his own people.

12. 좌우로 살펴 사람이 없음을 보고 그 애굽 사람을 쳐죽여 모래에 감추니라
  Glancing this way and that and seeing no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.

13. 이튿날 다시 나가니 두 히브리 사람이 서로 싸우는지라 그 그른 자에게 이르되 네가 어찌하여 동포를 치느냐 하매
  The next day he went out and saw two Hebrews fighting. He asked the one in the wrong, "Why are you hitting your fellow Hebrew?"

14. 그가 가로되 누가 너로 우리의 주재와 법관을 삼았느냐 네가 애굽 사람을 죽임같이 나도 죽이려느냐 모세가 두려워하여 가로되 일이 탄로되었도다
  The man said, "Who made you ruler and judge over us? Are you thinking of killing me as you killed the Egyptian?" Then Moses was afraid and thought, "What I did must have become known."

15. 바로가 이 일을 듣고 모세를 죽이고자 하여 찾은지라 모세가 바로의 낯을 피하여 미디안 땅에 머물며 하루는 우물 곁에 앉았더라
  When Pharaoh heard of this, he tried to kill Moses, but Moses fled from Pharaoh and went to live in Midian, where he sat down by a well.

16. 미디안 제사장에게 일곱 딸이 있더니 그들이 와서 물을 길어 구유에 채우고 그 아비의 양 무리에게 먹이려 하는데
  Now a priest of Midian had seven daughters, and they came to draw water and fill the troughs to water their father's flock.

17. 목자들이 와서 그들을 쫓는지라 모세가 일어나 그들을 도와 그 양 무리에게 먹이니라
  Some shepherds came along and drove them away, but Moses got up and came to their rescue and watered their flock.

18. 그들이 그 아비 르우엘에게 이를 때에 아비가 가로되 너희가 오늘은 어찌하여 이같이 속히 돌아오느냐
  When the girls returned to Reuel their father, he asked them, "Why have you returned so early today?"

19. 그들이 가로되 한 애굽 사람이 우리를 목자들의 손에서 건져내고 우리를 위하여 물을 길어 양 무리에게 먹였나이다
  They answered, "An Egyptian rescued us from the shepherds. He even drew water for us and watered the flock."

20. 아비가 딸들에게 이르되 그 사람이 어디 있느냐 너희가 어찌하여 그 사람을 버리고 왔느냐 그를 청하여 음식으로 대접하라 하였더라
  "And where is he?" he asked his daughters. "Why did you leave him? Invite him to have something to eat."

21. 모세가 그와 동거하기를 기뻐하매 그가 그 딸 십보라를 모세에게 주었더니
  Moses agreed to stay with the man, who gave his daughter Zipporah to Moses in marriage.

22. 그가 아들을 낳으매 모세가 그 이름을 게르솜이라 하여 가로되 내가 타국에서 객이 되었음이라 하였더라
  Zipporah gave birth to a son, and Moses named him Gershom, saying, "I have become an alien in a foreign land."

23. 여러 해 후에 애굽 왕은 죽었고 이스라엘 자손은 고역으로 인하여 탄식하며 부르짖으니 그 고역으로 인하여 부르짖는 소리가 하나님께 상달한지라
  During that long period, the king of Egypt died. The Israelites groaned in their slavery and cried out, and their cry for help because of their slavery went up to God.

24. 하나님이 그 고통 소리를 들으시고 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱에게 세운 그 언약을 기억하사
  God heard their groaning and he remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob.

25. 이스라엘 자손을 권념하셨더라
  So God looked on the Israelites and was concerned about them.

누가복음 5

1. 무리가 옹위하여 하나님의 말씀을 들을쌔 예수는 게네사렛 호숫가에 서서
  One day as Jesus was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret, with the people crowding around him and listening to the word of God,

2. 호숫가에 두 배가 있는 것을 보시니 어부들은 배에서 나와서 그물을 씻는지라
  he saw at the water's edge two boats, left there by the fishermen, who were washing their nets.

3. 예수께서 한 배에 오르시니 그 배는 시몬의 배라 육지에서 조금 띄기를 청하시고 앉으사 배에서 무리를 가르치시더니
  He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from shore. Then he sat down and taught the people from the boat.

4. 말씀을 마치시고 시몬에게 이르시되 깊은 데로 가서 그물을 내려 고기를 잡으라
  When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, "Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch."

5. 시몬이 대답하여 가로되 선생이여 우리들이 밤이 맟도록 수고를 하였으되 얻은 것이 없지마는 말씀에 의지하여 내가 그물을 내리리이다 하고
  Simon answered, "Master, we've worked hard all night and haven't caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets."

6. 그리한즉 고기를 에운 것이 심히 많아 그물이 찢어지는지라
  When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break.

7. 이에 다른 배에 있는 동무를 손짓하여 와서 도와 달라 하니 저희가 와서 두 배에 채우매 잠기게 되었더라
  So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.

8. 시몬 베드로가 이를 보고 예수의 무릎 아래 엎드려 가로되 주여 나를 떠나소서 나는 죄인이로소이다 하니
  When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus' knees and said, "Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!"

9. 이는 자기와 및 함께 있는 모든 사람이 고기 잡힌 것을 인하여 놀라고
  For he and all his companions were astonished at the catch of fish they had taken,

10. 세베대의 아들로서 시몬의 동업자인 야고보와 요한도 놀랐음이라 예수께서 시몬에게 일러 가라사대 무서워 말라 이제 후로는 네가 사람을 취하리라 하시니
  and so were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, Simon's partners. Then Jesus said to Simon, "Don't be afraid; from now on you will catch men."

11. 저희가 배들을 육지에 대고 모든 것을 버려 두고 예수를 좇으니라
  So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him.

12. 예수께서 한 동네에 계실 때에 온 몸에 문둥병 들린 사람이 있어 예수를 보고 엎드려 구하여 가로되 주여 원하시면 나를 깨끗케 하실 수 있나이다 하니
  While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean."

13. 예수께서 손을 내밀어 저에게 대시며 가라사대 내가 원하노니 깨끗함을 받으라 하신대 문둥병이 곧 떠나니라
  Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!" And immediately the leprosy left him.

14. 예수께서 저를 경계하시되 아무에게도 이르지 말고 가서 제사장에게 네 몸을 보이고 또 네 깨끗케 됨을 인하여 모세의 명한 대로 예물을 드려 저희에게 증거하라 하셨더니
  Then Jesus ordered him, "Don't tell anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them."

15. 예수의 소문이 더욱 퍼지매 허다한 무리가 말씀도 듣고 자기 병도 나음을 얻고자 하여 모여 오되
  Yet the news about him spread all the more, so that crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses.

16. 예수는 물러가사 한적한 곳에서 기도하시니라
  But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.

17. 하루는 가르치실 때에 갈릴리 각 촌과 유대와 예루살렘에서 나온 바리새인과 교법사들이 앉았는데 병을 고치는 주의 능력이 예수와 함께 하더라
  One day as he was teaching, Pharisees and teachers of the law, who had come from every village of Galilee and from Judea and Jerusalem, were sitting there. And the power of the Lord was present for him to heal the sick.

18. 한 중풍병자를 사람들이 침상에 메고 와서 예수 앞에 들여 놓고자 하였으나
  Some men came carrying a paralytic on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus.

19. 무리 때문에 메고 들어갈 길을 얻지 못한지라 지붕에 올라가 기와를 벗기고 병자를 침상채 무리 가운데로 예수 앞에 달아 내리니
  When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus.

20. 예수께서 저희 믿음을 보시고 이르시되 이 사람아 네 죄 사함을 받았느니라 하시니
  When Jesus saw their faith, he said, "Friend, your sins are forgiven."

21. 서기관과 바리새인들이 의논하여 가로되 이 참람한 말을 하는 자가 누구뇨 오직 하나님 외에 누가 능히 죄를 사하겠느냐
  The Pharisees and the teachers of the law began thinking to themselves, "Who is this fellow who speaks blasphemy? Who can forgive sins but God alone?"

22. 예수께서 그 의논을 아시고 대답하여 가라사대 너희 마음에 무슨 의논을 하느냐
  Jesus knew what they were thinking and asked, "Why are you thinking these things in your hearts?

23. 네 죄 사함을 받았느니라 하는 말과 일어나 걸어가라 하는 말이 어느 것이 쉽겠느냐
  Which is easier: to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Get up and walk'?

24. 그러나 인자가 땅에서 죄를 사하는 권세가 있는 줄을 너희로 알게 하리라 하시고 중풍병자에게 말씀하시되 내가 네게 이르노니 일어나 네 침상을 가지고 집으로 가라 하시매
  But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins. . . ." He said to the paralyzed man, "I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home."

25. 그 사람이 저희 앞에서 곧 일어나 그 누웠던 것을 가지고 하나님께 영광을 돌리며 자기 집으로 돌아가니
  Immediately he stood up in front of them, took what he had been lying on and went home praising God.

26. 모든 사람이 놀라 하나님께 영광을 돌리며 심히 두려워하여 가로되 오늘날 우리가 기이한 일을 보았다 하니라
  Everyone was amazed and gave praise to God. They were filled with awe and said, "We have seen remarkable things today."

27. 그 후에 나가사 레위라 하는 세리가 세관에 앉은 것을 보시고 나를 좇으라 하시니
  After this, Jesus went out and saw a tax collector by the name of Levi sitting at his tax booth. "Follow me," Jesus said to him,

28. 저가 모든 것을 버리고 일어나 좇으니라
  and Levi got up, left everything and followed him.

29. 레위가 예수를 위하여 자기 집에서 큰 잔치를 하니 세리와 다른 사람이 많이 함께 앉았는지라
  Then Levi held a great banquet for Jesus at his house, and a large crowd of tax collectors and others were eating with them.

30. 바리새인과 저희 서기관들이 그 제자들을 비방하여 가로되 너희가 어찌하여 세리와 죄인과 함께 먹고 마시느냐
  But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law who belonged to their sect complained to his disciples, "Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and 'sinners'?"

31. 예수께서 대답하여 가라사대 건강한 자에게는 의원이 쓸데없고 병든 자에게라야 쓸데 있나니
  Jesus answered them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.

32. 내가 의인을 부르러 온 것이 아니요 죄인을 불러 회개시키러 왔노라
  I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."

33. 저희가 예수께 말하되 요한의 제자는 자주 금식하며 기도하고 바리새인의 제자들도 또한 그리하되 당신의 제자들은 먹고 마시나이다
  They said to him, "John's disciples often fast and pray, and so do the disciples of the Pharisees, but yours go on eating and drinking."

34. 예수께서 저희에게 이르시되 혼인집 손님들이 신랑과 함께 있을 때에 너희가 그 손님으로 금식하게 할 수 있느뇨
  Jesus answered, "Can you make the guests of the bridegroom fast while he is with them?

35. 그러나 그 날에 이르러 저희가 신랑을 빼앗기리니 그 날에는 금식할 것이니라
  But the time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; in those days they will fast."

36. 또 비유하여 이르시되 새 옷에서 한 조각을 찢어 낡은 옷에 붙이는 자가 없나니 만일 그렇게 하면 새 옷을 찢을 뿐이요 또 새 옷에서 찢은 조각이 낡은 것에 합하지 아니하리라
  He told them this parable: "No one tears a patch from a new garment and sews it on an old one. If he does, he will have torn the new garment, and the patch from the new will not match the old.

37. 새 포도주를 낡은 가죽 부대에 넣는 자가 없나니 만일 그렇게 하면 새 포도주가 부대를 터뜨려 포도주가 쏟아지고 부대도 버리게 되리라
  And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the new wine will burst the skins, the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined.

38. 새 포도주는 새 부대에 넣어야 할 것이니라
  No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins.

39. 묵은 포도주를 마시고 새 것을 원하는 자가 없나니 이는 묵은 것이 좋다 함이니라
  And no one after drinking old wine wants the new, for he says, 'The old is better.'"

■ 혼자 읽기

욥기 19

1. 욥이 대답하여 가로되
  Then Job replied:

2. 너희가 내 마음을 번뇌케 하며 말로 꺾기를 어느 때까지 하겠느냐
  "How long will you torment me and crush me with words?

3. 너희가 열 번이나 나를 꾸짖고 나를 학대하고도 부끄러워 아니하는구나
  Ten times now you have reproached me; shamelessly you attack me.

4. 내가 과연 허물이 있었다 할찌라도 그 허물이 내게만 있는 것이니
  If it is true that I have gone astray, my error remains my concern alone.

5. 너희가 참으로 나를 향하여 자긍하며 내게 수치 될 행위가 있다고 증명하려면 하려니와
  If indeed you would exalt yourselves above me and use my humiliation against me,

6. 하나님이 나를 굴하게 하시고 자기 그물로 나를 에워싸신 줄은 알아야 할찌니라
  then know that God has wronged me and drawn his net around me.

7. 내가 포학을 당한다고 부르짖으나 응답이 없고 간구할찌라도 신원함이 없구나
  "Though I cry, 'I've been wronged!' I get no response; though I call for help, there is no justice.

8. 그가 내 길을 막아 지나지 못하게 하시고 내 첩경에 흑암을 두셨으며
  He has blocked my way so I cannot pass; he has shrouded my paths in darkness.

9. 나의 영광을 벗기시며 나의 면류관을 머리에서 취하시고
  He has stripped me of my honor and removed the crown from my head.

10. 사면으로 나를 헐으시니 나는 죽었구나 내 소망을 나무 뽑듯 뽑으시고
  He tears me down on every side till I am gone; he uproots my hope like a tree.

11. 나를 향하여 진노하시고 원수같이 보시는구나
  His anger burns against me; he counts me among his enemies.

12. 그 군대가 일제히 나아와서 길을 수축하고 나를 치며 내 장막을 둘러 진쳤구나
  His troops advance in force; they build a siege ramp against me and encamp around my tent.

13. 나의 형제들로 나를 멀리 떠나게 하시니 나를 아는 모든 사람이 내게 외인이 되었구나
  "He has alienated my brothers from me; my acquaintances are completely estranged from me.

14. 내 친척은 나를 버리며 가까운 친구는 나를 잊었구나
  My kinsmen have gone away; my friends have forgotten me.

15. 내 집에 우거한 자와 내 계집종들은 나를 외인으로 여기니 내가 그들 앞에서 타국 사람이 되었구나
  My guests and my maidservants count me a stranger; they look upon me as an alien.

16. 내가 내 종을 불러도 대답지 아니하니 내 입으로 그에게 청하여야 하겠구나
  I summon my servant, but he does not answer, though I beg him with my own mouth.

17. 내 숨을 내 아내가 싫어하며 내 동포들도 혐의하는구나
  My breath is offensive to my wife; I am loathsome to my own brothers.

18. 어린아이들이라도 나를 업신여기고 내가 일어나면 나를 조롱하는구나
  Even the little boys scorn me; when I appear, they ridicule me.

19. 나의 가까운 친구들이 나를 미워하며 나의 사랑하는 사람들이 돌이켜 나의 대적이 되었구나
  All my intimate friends detest me; those I love have turned against me.

20. 내 피부와 살이 뼈에 붙었고 남은 것은 겨우 잇꺼풀뿐이로구나
  I am nothing but skin and bones; I have escaped with only the skin of my teeth.

21. 나의 친구야 너희는 나를 불쌍히 여기라 나를 불쌍히 여기라 하나님의 손이 나를 치셨구나
  "Have pity on me, my friends, have pity, for the hand of God has struck me.

22. 너희가 어찌하여 하나님처럼 나를 핍박하느냐 내 살을 먹고도 부족하냐
  Why do you pursue me as God does? Will you never get enough of my flesh?

23. 나의 말이 곧 기록되었으면, 책에 씌어졌으면,
  "Oh, that my words were recorded, that they were written on a scroll,

24. 철필과 연으로 영영히 돌에 새겨졌으면 좋겠노라
  that they were inscribed with an iron tool on lead, or engraved in rock forever!

25. 내가 알기에는 나의 구속자가 살아 계시니 후일에 그가 땅 위에 서실 것이라
  I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand upon the earth.

26. 나의 이 가죽, 이것이 썩은 후에 내가 육체 밖에서 하나님을 보리라
  And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God;

27. 내가 친히 그를 보리니 내 눈으로 그를 보기를 외인처럼 하지 않을 것이라 내 마음이 초급하구나
  I myself will see him with my own eyes--I, and not another. How my heart yearns within me!

28. 너희가 만일 이르기를 우리가 그를 어떻게 칠꼬 하며 또 이르기를 일의 뿌리가 그에게 있다 할찐대
  "If you say, 'How we will hound him, since the root of the trouble lies in him,'

29. 너희는 칼을 두려워할찌니라 분노는 칼의 형벌을 부르나니 너희가 심판이 있는줄을 알게 되리라
  you should fear the sword yourselves; for wrath will bring punishment by the sword, and then you will know that there is judgment."

고린도전서 6

1. 너희 중에 누가 다른 이로 더불어 일이 있는데 구태여 불의한 자들 앞에서 송사하고 성도 앞에서 하지 아니하느냐
  If any of you has a dispute with another, dare he take it before the ungodly for judgment instead of before the saints?

2. 성도가 세상을 판단할 것을 너희가 알지 못하느냐 세상도 너희에게 판단을 받겠거든 지극히 작은 일 판단하기를 감당치 못하겠느냐
  Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases?

3. 우리가 천사를 판단할 것을 너희가 알지 못하느냐 그러하거든 하물며 세상 일이랴
  Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!

4. 그런즉 너희가 세상 사건이 있을 때에 교회에서 경히 여김을 받는 자들을 세우느냐
  Therefore, if you have disputes about such matters, appoint as judges even men of little account in the church!

5. 내가 너희를 부끄럽게 하려 하여 이 말을 하노니 너희 가운데 그 형제간 일을 판단할 만한 지혜 있는 자가 이같이 하나도 없느냐
  I say this to shame you. Is it possible that there is nobody among you wise enough to judge a dispute between believers?

6. 형제가 형제로 더불어 송사할 뿐더러 믿지 아니하는 자들 앞에서 하느냐
  But instead, one brother goes to law against another--and this in front of unbelievers!

7. 너희가 피차 송사함으로 너희 가운데 이미 완연한 허물이 있나니 차라리 불의를 당하는 것이 낫지 아니하며 차라리 속는 것이 낫지 아니하냐
  The very fact that you have lawsuits among you means you have been completely defeated already. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated?

8. 너희는 불의를 행하고 속이는구나 저는 너희 형제로다
  Instead, you yourselves cheat and do wrong, and you do this to your brothers.

9. 불의한 자가 하나님의 나라를 유업으로 받지 못할 줄을 알지 못하느냐 미혹을 받지 말라 음란하는 자나 우상 숭배하는 자나 간음하는 자나 탐색하는 자나 남색하는 자나
  Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders

10. 도적이나 탐람하는 자나 술 취하는 자나 후욕하는 자나 토색하는 자들은 하나님의 나라를 유업으로 받지 못하리라
  nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

11. 너희 중에 이와 같은 자들이 있더니 주 예수 그리스도의 이름과 우리 하나님의 성령 안에서 씻음과 거룩함과 의롭다 하심을 얻었느니라
  And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

12. 모든 것이 내게 가하나 다 유익한 것이 아니요 모든 것이 내게 가하나 내가 아무에게든지 제재를 받지 아니하리라
  "Everything is permissible for me"--but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible for me"--but I will not be mastered by anything.

13. 식물은 배를 위하고 배는 식물을 위하나 하나님이 이것 저것 다 폐하시리라 몸은 음란을 위하지 않고 오직 주를 위하며 주는 몸을 위하시느니라
  "Food for the stomach and the stomach for food"--but God will destroy them both. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

14. 하나님이 주를 다시 살리셨고 또한 그의 권능으로 우리를 다시 살리시리라
  By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also.

15. 너희 몸이 그리스도의 지체인 줄을 알지 못하느냐 내가 그리스도의 지체를 가지고 창기의 지체를 만들겠느냐 결코 그럴 수 없느니라
  Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never!

16. 창기와 합하는 자는 저와 한 몸인 줄을 알지 못하느냐 일렀으되 둘이 한 육체가 된다 하셨나니
  Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, "The two will become one flesh."

17. 주와 합하는 자는 한 영이니라
  But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with him in spirit.

18. 음행을 피하라 사람이 범하는 죄마다 몸 밖에 있거니와 음행하는 자는 자기 몸에게 죄를 범하느니라
  Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.

19. 너희 몸은 너희가 하나님께로부터 받은 바 너희 가운데 계신 성령의 전인 줄을 알지 못하느냐 너희는 너희의 것이 아니라
  Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;

20. 값으로 산 것이 되었으니 그런즉 너희 몸으로 하나님께 영광을 돌리라
  you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.
