1. 이스라엘의 장자 르우벤의 아들들은 이러하니라 (르우벤은 장자라도 그 아비의 침상을 더럽게 하였으므로 장자의 명분이 이스라엘의 아들 요셉의 자손에게로 돌아갔으나 족보에는 장자의 명분대로 기록할 것이 아니니라
  The sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel (he was the firstborn, but when he defiled his father's marriage bed, his rights as firstborn were given to the sons of Joseph son of Israel; so he could not be listed in the genealogical record in accordance with his birthright,

2. 유다는 형제보다 뛰어나고 주권자가 유다로 말미암아 났을찌라도 장자의 명분은 요셉에게 있으니라)
  and though Judah was the strongest of his brothers and a ruler came from him, the rights of the firstborn belonged to Joseph)--

3. 이스라엘의 장자 르우벤의 아들들은 하녹과 발루와 헤스론과 갈미요
  the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel: Hanoch, Pallu, Hezron and Carmi.

4. 요엘의 아들은 스마야요 그 아들은 곡이요 그 아들은 시므이요
  The descendants of Joel: Shemaiah his son, Gog his son, Shimei his son,

5. 그 아들은 미가요 그 아들은 르아야요 그 아들은 바알이요
  Micah his son, Reaiah his son, Baal his son,

6. 그 아들은 브에라니 저는 르우벤 자손의 두목으로서 앗수르 왕 디글랏 빌레셀에게 사로잡힌 자라
  and Beerah his son, whom Tiglath-Pileser king of Assyria took into exile. Beerah was a leader of the Reubenites.

7. 저의 형제가 종족과 보계대로 족장 된 자는 여이엘과 스가랴와
  Their relatives by clans, listed according to their genealogical records: Jeiel the chief, Zechariah,

8. 벨라니 벨라는 아사스의 아들이요 세마의 손자요 요엘의 증손이라 저가 아로엘에 거하여 느보와 바알므온까지 미쳤고
  and Bela son of Azaz, the son of Shema, the son of Joel. They settled in the area from Aroer to Nebo and Baal Meon.

9. 또 동으로 가서 거하여 유브라데 강에서부터 광야 지경까지 미쳤으니 이는 길르앗 땅에서 그 생축이 번식함이라
  To the east they occupied the land up to the edge of the desert that extends to the Euphrates River, because their livestock had increased in Gilead.

10. 사울 왕 때에 저희가 하갈 사람으로 더불어 싸워 쳐죽이고 길르앗 동편 온 땅에서 장막에 거하였더라
  During Saul's reign they waged war against the Hagrites, who were defeated at their hands; they occupied the dwellings of the Hagrites throughout the entire region east of Gilead.

11. 갓 자손은 르우벤 사람을 마주 대하여 바산 땅에 거하여 살르가까지 미쳤으니
  The Gadites lived next to them in Bashan, as far as Salecah:

12. 족장은 요엘이요 다음은 사밤이요 또 야내와 바산에 거한 사밧이요
  Joel was the chief, Shapham the second, then Janai and Shaphat, in Bashan.

13. 그 족속 형제에는 미가엘과 므술람과 세바와 요래와 야간과 시아와 에벨 일곱 명이니
  Their relatives, by families, were: Michael, Meshullam, Sheba, Jorai, Jacan, Zia and Eber--seven in all.

14. 이는 다 아비하일의 아들이라 아비하일은 후리의 아들이요 야로아의 손자요 길르앗의 증손이요 미가엘의 현손이요 여시새의 오 대 손이요 야도의 육 대 손이요 부스의 칠 대 손이며
  These were the sons of Abihail son of Huri, the son of Jaroah, the son of Gilead, the son of Michael, the son of Jeshishai, the son of Jahdo, the son of Buz.

15. 또 구니의 손자 압디엘의 아들 아히가 족장이 되었고
  Ahi son of Abdiel, the son of Guni, was head of their family.

16. 저희가 바산길르앗과 그 향촌과 사론의 모든 들에 거하여 그 사방 변경에 미쳤더라
  The Gadites lived in Gilead, in Bashan and its outlying villages, and on all the pasturelands of Sharon as far as they extended.

17. 이상은 유다 왕 요담과 이스라엘 왕 여로보암 때에 족보에 기록되었더라
  All these were entered in the genealogical records during the reigns of Jotham king of Judah and Jeroboam king of Israel.

18. 르우벤 자손과 갓 사람과 므낫세 반 지파의 나가 싸울만한 용사 곧 능히 방패와 칼을 들며 활을 당기어 싸움에 익숙한 자가 사만 사천 칠백륙십인이라
  The Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh had 44,760 men ready for military service--able-bodied men who could handle shield and sword, who could use a bow, and who were trained for battle.

19. 저희가 하갈 사람과 여두르와 나비스와 노답과 싸우는 중에
  They waged war against the Hagrites, Jetur, Naphish and Nodab.

20. 도우심을 입었으므로 하갈 사람과 그 함께한 자들이 다 저희 손에 패하였으니 이는 저희가 싸울 때에 하나님께 의뢰하고 부르짖음을 하나님이 들으셨음이라
  They were helped in fighting them, and God handed the Hagrites and all their allies over to them, because they cried out to him during the battle. He answered their prayers, because they trusted in him.

21. 저희가 대적의 짐승 곧 약대 오만과 양 이십오만과 나귀 이천을 빼앗으며 사람 십만을 사로잡았고
  They seized the livestock of the Hagrites--fifty thousand camels, two hundred fifty thousand sheep and two thousand donkeys. They also took one hundred thousand people captive,

22. 죽임을 당한 자가 많았으니 이 싸움이 하나님께로 말미암았음이라 저희가 그 땅에 거하여 사로잡힐 때까지 이르렀더라
  and many others fell slain, because the battle was God's. And they occupied the land until the exile.

23. 므낫세 반 지파 자손들이 그 땅에 거하여 번성하여 바산에서부터 바알헤르몬과 스닐과 헤르몬 산까지 미쳤으며
  The people of the half-tribe of Manasseh were numerous; they settled in the land from Bashan to Baal Hermon, that is, to Senir (Mount Hermon).

24. 그 족장은 에벨과 이시와 엘리엘과 아스리엘과 예레미야와 호다위야와 야디엘이라 다 용력이 유명한 족장이었더라
  These were the heads of their families: Epher, Ishi, Eliel, Azriel, Jeremiah, Hodaviah and Jahdiel. They were brave warriors, famous men, and heads of their families.

25. 저희가 그 열조의 하나님께 범죄하여 하나님이 저희 앞에서 멸하신 그 땅 백성의 신들을 간음하듯 섬긴지라
  But they were unfaithful to the God of their fathers and prostituted themselves to the gods of the peoples of the land, whom God had destroyed before them.

26. 그러므로 이스라엘 하나님이 앗수르 왕 불의 마음을 일으키시며 앗수르 왕 디글랏 빌레셀의 마음을 일으키시매 곧 르우벤과 갓과 므낫세 반 지파를 사로잡아 할라와 하볼과 하라와 고산 하숫가에 옮긴지라 저희가 오늘날까지 거기 있으니라
  So the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Pul king of Assyria (that is, Tiglath-Pileser king of Assyria), who took the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh into exile. He took them to Halah, Habor, Hara and the river of Gozan, where they are to this day.

1. 레위의 아들들은 게르손과 그핫과 므라리요
  The sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath and Merari.

2. 그핫의 아들들은 아므람과 이스할과 헤브론과 웃시엘이요
  The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel.

3. 아므람의 자녀는 아론과 모세와 미리암이요 아론의 아들들은 나답과 아비후와 엘르아살과 이다말이며
  The children of Amram: Aaron, Moses and Miriam. The sons of Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

4. 엘르아살은 비느하스를 낳았고 비느하스는 아비수아를 낳았고
  Eleazar was the father of Phinehas, Phinehas the father of Abishua,

5. 아비수아는 북기를 낳았고 북기는 웃시를 낳았고
  Abishua the father of Bukki, Bukki the father of Uzzi,

6. 웃시는 스라히야를 낳았고 스라히야는 므라욧을 낳았고
  Uzzi the father of Zerahiah, Zerahiah the father of Meraioth,

7. 므라욧은 아마랴를 낳았고 아마랴는 아히둡을 낳았고
  Meraioth the father of Amariah, Amariah the father of Ahitub,

8. 아히둡은 사독을 낳았고 사독은 아히마아스를 낳았고
  Ahitub the father of Zadok, Zadok the father of Ahimaaz,

9. 아히마아스는 아사랴를 낳았고 아사랴는 요하난을 낳았고
  Ahimaaz the father of Azariah, Azariah the father of Johanan,

10. 요하난은 아사랴를 낳았으니 이 아사랴는 솔로몬이 예루살렘에 세운 전에서 제사장의 직분을 행한 자며
  Johanan the father of Azariah (it was he who served as priest in the temple Solomon built in Jerusalem),

11. 아사랴는 아마랴를 낳았고 아마랴는 아히둡을 낳았고
  Azariah the father of Amariah, Amariah the father of Ahitub,

12. 아히둡은 사독을 낳았고 사독은 살룸을 낳았고
  Ahitub the father of Zadok, Zadok the father of Shallum,

13. 살룸은 힐기야를 낳았고 힐기야는 아사랴를 낳았고
  Shallum the father of Hilkiah, Hilkiah the father of Azariah,

14. 아사랴는 스라야를 낳았고 스라야는 여호사닥을 낳았으며
  Azariah the father of Seraiah, and Seraiah the father of Jehozadak.

15. 여호와께서 느부갓네살의 손으로 유다와 예루살렘 백성을 옮기실 때에 여호사닥도 갔었더라
  Jehozadak was deported when the LORD sent Judah and Jerusalem into exile by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.

16. 레위의 아들들은 게르손과 그핫과 므라리며
  The sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath and Merari.

17. 게르손의 아들의 이름은 립니와 시므이요
  These are the names of the sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei.

18. 그핫의 아들들은 아므람과 이스할과 헤브론과 웃시엘이요
  The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel.

19. 므라리의 아들들은 말리와 무시라 이 레위 사람의 집들이 그 종족을 따라 이러하니
  The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the clans of the Levites listed according to their fathers:

20. 게르손에게서 난 자는 곧 그 아들 립니요 그 아들은 야핫이요 그 아들은 심마요
  Of Gershon: Libni his son, Jehath his son, Zimmah his son,

21. 그 아들은 요아요 그 아들은 잇도요 그 아들은 세라요 그 아들은 여아드래며
  Joah his son, Iddo his son, Zerah his son and Jeatherai his son.

22. 그핫에게서 난 자는 곧 그 아들 암미나답이요 그 아들은 고라요 그 아들은 앗실이요
  The descendants of Kohath: Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son,

23. 그 아들은 엘가나요 그 아들은 에비아삽이요 그 아들은 앗실이요
  Elkanah his son, Ebiasaph his son, Assir his son,

24. 그 아들은 다핫이요 그 아들은 우리엘이요 그 아들은 웃시야요 그 아들은 사울이며
  Tahath his son, Uriel his son, Uzziah his son and Shaul his son.

25. 엘가나의 아들들은 아마새와 아히못이라
  The descendants of Elkanah: Amasai, Ahimoth,

26. 엘가나로 말하면 그 자손은 이러하니 그 아들은 소배요 그 아들은 나핫이요
  Elkanah his son, Zophai his son, Nahath his son,

27. 그 아들은 엘리압이요 그 아들은 여로함이요 그 아들은 엘가나며
  Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, Elkanah his son and Samuel his son.

28. 사무엘의 아들들은 맏아들 요엘이요 다음은 아비야며
  The sons of Samuel: Joel the firstborn and Abijah the second son.

29. 므라리에게서 난 자는 말리요 그 아들은 립니요 그 아들은 시므이요 그 아들은 웃사요
  The descendants of Merari: Mahli, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzzah his son,

30. 그 아들은 시므아요 그 아들은 학기야요 그 아들은 아사야더라
  Shimea his son, Haggiah his son and Asaiah his son.

31. 언약궤가 평안한 곳을 얻은 후에 다윗이 이 아래의 무리를 세워 여호와의 집에서 찬송하는 일을 맡게 하매
  These are the men David put in charge of the music in the house of the LORD after the ark came to rest there.

32. 솔로몬이 예루살렘에서 여호와의 전을 세울 때까지 저희가 회막 앞에서 찬송하는 일을 행하되 그 반열대로 직무를 행하였더라
  They ministered with music before the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, until Solomon built the temple of the LORD in Jerusalem. They performed their duties according to the regulations laid down for them.

33. 직무를 행하는 자와 그 아들들이 이러하니 그핫의 자손 중에 헤만은 찬송하는 자라 저는 요엘의 아들이요 요엘은 사무엘의 아들이요
  Here are the men who served, together with their sons: From the Kohathites: Heman, the musician, the son of Joel, the son of Samuel,

34. 사무엘은 엘가나의 아들이요 엘가나는 여로함의 아들이요 여로함은 엘리엘의 아들이요 엘리엘은 도아의 아들이요
  the son of Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toah,

35. 도아는 숩의 아들이요 숩은 엘가나의 아들이요 엘가나는 마핫의 아들이요 마핫은 아마새의 아들이요
  the son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai,

36. 아마새는 엘가나의 아들이요 엘가나는 요엘의 아들이요 요엘은 아사랴의 아들이요 아사랴는 스바냐의 아들이요
  the son of Elkanah, the son of Joel, the son of Azariah, the son of Zephaniah,

37. 스바냐는 다핫의 아들이요 다핫은 앗실의 아들이요 앗실은 에비아삽의 아들이요 에비아삽은 고라의 아들이요
  the son of Tahath, the son of Assir, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah,

38. 고라는 이스할의 아들이요 이스할은 그핫의 아들이요 그핫은 레위의 아들이요 레위는 이스라엘의 아들이며
  the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel;

39. 헤만의 형제 아삽은 헤만의 우편에서 직무를 행하였으니 저는 베레갸의 아들이요 베레갸는 시므아의 아들이요
  and Heman's associate Asaph, who served at his right hand: Asaph son of Berekiah, the son of Shimea,

40. 시므아는 미가엘의 아들이요 미가엘은 바아세야의 아들이요 바아세야는 말기야의 아들이요
  the son of Michael, the son of Baaseiah, the son of Malkijah,

41. 말기야는 에드니의 아들이요 에드니는 세라의 아들이요 세라는 아다야의 아들이요
  the son of Ethni, the son of Zerah, the son of Adaiah,

42. 아다야는 에단의 아들이요 에단은 심마의 아들이요 심마는 시므이의 아들이요
  the son of Ethan, the son of Zimmah, the son of Shimei,

43. 시므이는 야핫의 아들이요 야핫은 게르손의 아들이요 게르손은 레위의 아들이며
  the son of Jahath, the son of Gershon, the son of Levi;

44. 저희의 형제 므라리의 자손 중 그 좌편에서 직무를 행하는 자는 에단이라 에단은 기시의 아들이요 기시는 압디의 아들이요 압디는 말룩의 아들이요
  and from their associates, the Merarites, at his left hand: Ethan son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch,

45. 말룩은 하사뱌의 아들이요 하사뱌는 아마시야의 아들이요 아마시야는 힐기야의 아들이요
  the son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkiah,

46. 힐기야는 암시의 아들이요 암시는 바니의 아들이요 바니는 세멜의 아들이요
  the son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shemer,

47. 세멜은 말리의 아들이요 말리는 무시의 아들이요 무시는 므라리의 아들이요 므라리는 레위의 아들이며
  the son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.

48. 저희의 형제 레위 사람들은 하나님의 집 장막의 모든 일을 맡았더라
  Their fellow Levites were assigned to all the other duties of the tabernacle, the house of God.

49. 아론과 그 자손들은 번제단과 향단 위에 분향하며 제사를 드리며 지성소의 모든 일을 하여 하나님의 종 모세의 모든 명대로 이스라엘을 위하여 속죄하니
  But Aaron and his descendants were the ones who presented offerings on the altar of burnt offering and on the altar of incense in connection with all that was done in the Most Holy Place, making atonement for Israel, in accordance with all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.

50. 아론의 자손들은 이러하니라 그 아들은 엘르아살이요 그 아들은 비느하스요 그 아들은 아비수아요
  These were the descendants of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,

51. 그 아들은 북기요 그 아들은 웃시요 그 아들은 스라히야요
  Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son,

52. 그 아들은 므라욧이요 그 아들은 아마랴요 그 아들은 아히둡이요
  Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son,

53. 그 아들은 사독이요 그 아들은 아히마아스더라
  Zadok his son and Ahimaaz his son.

54. 저희의 거한 곳은 사방 지경 안에 있으니 그 향리는 아래와 같으니라 아론 자손 곧 그핫 족속이 먼저 제비뽑았으므로
  These were the locations of their settlements allotted as their territory (they were assigned to the descendants of Aaron who were from the Kohathite clan, because the first lot was for them):

55. 저희에게 유다 땅의 헤브론과 그 사방 들을 주었고
  They were given Hebron in Judah with its surrounding pasturelands.

56. 그 성의 밭과 향리는 여분네의 아들 갈렙에게 주었으며
  But the fields and villages around the city were given to Caleb son of Jephunneh.

57. 아론 자손에게 도피성을 주었으니 헤브론과 립나와 그 들과 얏딜과 에스드모아와 그 들과
  So the descendants of Aaron were given Hebron (a city of refuge), and Libnah, Jattir, Eshtemoa,

58. 힐렌과 그 들과 드빌과 그 들과
  Hilen, Debir,

59. 아산과 그 들과 벧세메스와 그 들이며
  Ashan, Juttah and Beth Shemesh, together with their pasturelands.

60. 또 베냐민 지파 중에서는 게바와 그 들과 알레멧과 그 들과 아나돗과 그 들을 주었으니 그 족속의 얻은 성이 모두 열셋이었더라
  And from the tribe of Benjamin they were given Gibeon, Geba, Alemeth and Anathoth, together with their pasturelands. These towns, which were distributed among the Kohathite clans, were thirteen in all.

61. 그핫 자손의 남은 자에게는 므낫세 반 지파 족속 중에서 제비뽑아 열 성을 주었고
  The rest of Kohath's descendants were allotted ten towns from the clans of half the tribe of Manasseh.

62. 게르손 자손에게는 그 족속대로 잇사갈 지파와 아셀 지파와 납달리 지파와 바산에 있는 므낫세 지파 중에서 열세 성을 주었고
  The descendants of Gershon, clan by clan, were allotted thirteen towns from the tribes of Issachar, Asher and Naphtali, and from the part of the tribe of Manasseh that is in Bashan.

63. 므라리 자손에게는 그 족속대로 르우벤 지파와 갓 지파와 스불론 지파 중에서 제비뽑아 열두 성을 주었더라
  The descendants of Merari, clan by clan, were allotted twelve towns from the tribes of Reuben, Gad and Zebulun.

64. 이스라엘 자손이 이 모든 성과 그 들을 레위 자손에게 주되
  So the Israelites gave the Levites these towns and their pasturelands.

65. 유다 자손의 지파와 시므온 자손의 지파와 베냐민 자손의 지파 중에서 이 위에 기록한 여러 성을 제비뽑아 주었더라
  From the tribes of Judah, Simeon and Benjamin they allotted the previously named towns.

66. 그핫 자손의 몇 족속은 에브라임 지파 중에서 성을 얻어 영지를 삼았으며
  Some of the Kohathite clans were given as their territory towns from the tribe of Ephraim.

67. 또 저희에게 도피성을 주었으니 에브라임 산 중 세겜과 그 들과 게셀과 그 들과
  In the hill country of Ephraim they were given Shechem (a city of refuge), and Gezer,

68. 욕므암과 그 들과 벧호론과 그 들과
  Jokmeam, Beth Horon,

69. 아얄론과 그 들과 가드림몬과 그 들이며
  Aijalon and Gath Rimmon, together with their pasturelands.

70. 또 그핫 자손의 남은 족속에게는 므낫세 반 지파 중에서 아넬과 그 들과 빌르암과 그 들을 주었더라
  And from half the tribe of Manasseh the Israelites gave Aner and Bileam, together with their pasturelands, to the rest of the Kohathite clans.

71. 게르손 자손에게는 므낫세 반 지파 족속 중에서 바산의 골란과 그 들과 아스다롯과 그 들을 주었고
  The Gershonites received the following: From the clan of the half-tribe of Manasseh they received Golan in Bashan and also Ashtaroth, together with their pasturelands;

72. 또 잇사갈 지파 중에서 게데스와 그 들과 다브랏과 그 들과
  from the tribe of Issachar they received Kedesh, Daberath,

73. 라못과 그 들과 아넴과 그 들을 주었고
  Ramoth and Anem, together with their pasturelands;

74. 아셀 지파 중에서 마살과 그 들과 압돈과 그 들과
  from the tribe of Asher they received Mashal, Abdon,

75. 후곡과 그 들과 르홉과 그 들을 주었고
  Hukok and Rehob, together with their pasturelands;

76. 납달리 지파 중에서 갈릴리의 게데스와 그 들과 함몬과 그 들과 기랴다임과 그 들을 주었더라
  and from the tribe of Naphtali they received Kedesh in Galilee, Hammon and Kiriathaim, together with their pasturelands.

77. 므라리 자손의 남은 자에게는 스불론 지파 중에서 림모노와 그 들과 다볼과 그 들을 주었고
  The Merarites (the rest of the Levites) received the following: From the tribe of Zebulun they received Jokneam, Kartah, Rimmono and Tabor, together with their pasturelands;

78. 또 요단 건너 동편 곧 여리고 맞은편 르우벤 지파 중에서 광야의 베셀과 그 들과 야사와 그 들과
  from the tribe of Reuben across the Jordan east of Jericho they received Bezer in the desert, Jahzah,

79. 그데못과 그 들과 메바앗과 그 들을 주었고
  Kedemoth and Mephaath, together with their pasturelands;

80. 또 갓 지파 중에서 길르앗의 라못과 그 들과 마하나임과 그 들과
  and from the tribe of Gad they received Ramoth in Gilead, Mahanaim,

81. 헤스본과 그 들과 야셀과 그 들을 주었더라
  Heshbon and Jazer, together with their pasturelands.

히브리서 10

1. 율법은 장차 오는 좋은 일의 그림자요 참 형상이 아니므로 해마다 늘 드리는 바 같은 제사로는 나아오는 자들을 언제든지 온전케 할 수 없느니라
  The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming--not the realities themselves. For this reason it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship.

2. 그렇지 아니하면 섬기는 자들이 단번에 정결케 되어 다시 죄를 깨닫는 일이 없으리니 어찌 드리는 일을 그치지 아니하였으리요
  If it could, would they not have stopped being offered? For the worshipers would have been cleansed once for all, and would no longer have felt guilty for their sins.

3. 그러나 이 제사들은 해마다 죄를 생각하게 하는 것이 있나니
  But those sacrifices are an annual reminder of sins,

4. 이는 황소와 염소의 피가 능히 죄를 없이 하지 못함이라
  because it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.

5. 그러므로 세상에 임하실 때에 가라사대 하나님이 제사와 예물을 원치 아니하시고 오직 나를 위하여 한 몸을 예비하셨도다
  Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: "Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me;

6. 전체로 번제함과 속죄제는 기뻐하지 아니하시나니
  with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased.

7. 이에 내가 말하기를 하나님이여 보시옵소서 두루마리 책에 나를 가리켜 기록한 것과 같이 하나님의 뜻을 행하러 왔나이다 하시니라
  Then I said, 'Here I am--it is written about me in the scroll--I have come to do your will, O God.'"

8. 위에 말씀하시기를 제사와 예물과 전체로 번제함과 속죄제는 원치도 아니하고 기뻐하지도 아니하신다 하셨고 (이는 다 율법을 따라 드리는 것이라)
  First he said, "Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them" (although the law required them to be made).

9. 그 후에 말씀하시기를 보시옵소서 내가 하나님의 뜻을 행하러 왔나이다 하셨으니 그 첫 것을 폐하심은 둘째 것을 세우려 하심이니라
  Then he said, "Here I am, I have come to do your will." He sets aside the first to establish the second.

10. 이 뜻을 좇아 예수 그리스도의 몸을 단번에 드리심으로 말미암아 우리가 거룩함을 얻었노라
  And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

11. 제사장마다 매일 서서 섬기며 자주 같은 제사를 드리되 이 제사는 언제든지 죄를 없게 하지 못하거니와
  Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.

12. 오직 그리스도는 죄를 위하여 한 영원한 제사를 드리시고 하나님 우편에 앉으사
  But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God.

13. 그 후에 자기 원수들로 자기 발등상이 되게 하실 때까지 기다리시나니
  Since that time he waits for his enemies to be made his footstool,

14. 저가 한 제물로 거룩하게 된 자들을 영원히 온전케 하셨느니라
  because by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.

15. 또한 성령이 우리에게 증거하시되
  The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First he says:

16. 주께서 가라사대 그 날 후로는 저희와 세울 언약이 이것이라 하시고 내 법을 저희 마음에 두고 저희 생각에 기록하리라 하신 후에
  "This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds."

17. 또 저희 죄와 저희 불법을 내가 다시 기억지 아니하리라 하셨으니
  Then he adds: "Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more."

18. 이것을 사하셨은즉 다시 죄를 위하여 제사드릴 것이 없느니라
  And where these have been forgiven, there is no longer any sacrifice for sin.

19. 그러므로 형제들아 우리가 예수의 피를 힘입어 성소에 들어갈 담력을 얻었나니
  Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus,

20. 그 길은 우리를 위하여 휘장 가운데로 열어 놓으신 새롭고 산 길이요 휘장은 곧 저의 육체니라
  by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body,

21. 또 하나님의 집 다스리는 큰 제사장이 계시매
  and since we have a great priest over the house of God,

22. 우리가 마음에 뿌림을 받아 양심의 악을 깨닫고 몸을 맑은 물로 씻었으니 참 마음과 온전한 믿음으로 하나님께 나아가자
  let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.

23. 또 약속하신 이는 미쁘시니 우리가 믿는 도리의 소망을 움직이지 말고 굳게 잡아
  Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

24. 서로 돌아보아 사랑과 선행을 격려하며
  And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.

25. 모이기를 폐하는 어떤 사람들의 습관과 같이 하지 말고 오직 권하여 그 날이 가까움을 볼수록 더욱 그리하자
  Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

26. 우리가 진리를 아는 지식을 받은 후 짐짓 죄를 범한즉 다시 속죄하는 제사가 없고
  If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left,

27. 오직 무서운 마음으로 심판을 기다리는 것과 대적하는 자를 소멸할 맹렬한 불만 있으리라
  but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.

28. 모세의 법을 폐한 자도 두 세 증인을 인하여 불쌍히 여김을 받지 못하고 죽었거든
  Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.

29. 하물며 하나님 아들을 밟고 자기를 거룩하게 한 언약의 피를 부정한 것으로 여기고 은혜의 성령을 욕되게 하는 자의 당연히 받을 형벌이 얼마나 더 중하겠느냐 너희는 생각하라
  How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God under foot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?

30. 원수 갚는 것이 내게 있으니 내가 갚으리라 하시고 또다시 주께서 그의 백성을 심판하리라 말씀하신 것을 우리가 아노니
  For we know him who said, "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," and again, "The Lord will judge his people."

31. 살아 계신 하나님의 손에 빠져 들어가는 것이 무서울진저
  It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

32. 전날에 너희가 빛을 받은 후에 고난의 큰 싸움에 참은 것을 생각하라
  Remember those earlier days after you had received the light, when you stood your ground in a great contest in the face of suffering.

33. 혹 비방과 환난으로써 사람에게 구경거리가 되고 혹 이런 형편에 있는 자들로 사귀는 자 되었으니
  Sometimes you were publicly exposed to insult and persecution; at other times you stood side by side with those who were so treated.

34. 너희가 갇힌 자를 동정하고 너희 산업을 빼앗기는 것도 기쁘게 당한 것은 더 낫고 영구한 산업이 있는 줄 앎이라
  You sympathized with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions.

35. 그러므로 너희 담대함을 버리지 말라 이것이 큰 상을 얻느니라
  So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.

36. 너희에게 인내가 필요함은 너희가 하나님의 뜻을 행한 후에 약속을 받기 위함이라
  You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.

37. 잠시 잠깐 후면 오실 이가 오시리니 지체하지 아니하시리라
  For in just a very little while, "He who is coming will come and will not delay.

38. 오직 나의 의인은 믿음으로 말미암아 살리라 또한 뒤로 물러가면 내 마음이 저를 기뻐하지 아니하리라 하셨느니라
  But my righteous one will live by faith. And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him."

39. 우리는 뒤로 물러가 침륜에 빠질 자가 아니요 오직 영혼을 구원함에 이르는 믿음을 가진 자니라
  But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved.

아모스 4

1. 사마리아 산에 거하는 바산 암소들아 이 말을 들으라 너희는 가난한 자를 학대하며 궁핍한 자를 압제하며 가장에게 이르기를 술을 가져다가 우리로 마시게 하라 하는도다
  Hear this word, you cows of Bashan on Mount Samaria, you women who oppress the poor and crush the needy and say to your husbands, "Bring us some drinks!"

2. 주 여호와께서 자기의 거룩함을 가리켜 맹세하시되 때가 너희에게 임할찌라 사람이 갈고리로 너희를 끌어 가며 낚시로 너희의 남은 자들을 그리하리라
  The Sovereign LORD has sworn by his holiness: "The time will surely come when you will be taken away with hooks, the last of you with fishhooks.

3. 너희가 성 무너진 데로 말미암아 각기 앞으로 바로 나가서 하르몬에 던지우리라 이는 여호와의 말씀이니라
  You will each go straight out through breaks in the wall, and you will be cast out toward Harmon," declares the LORD.

4. 너희는 벧엘에 가서 범죄하며 길갈에 가서 죄를 더하며 아침마다 너희 희생을, 삼 일마다 너희 십일조를 드리며
  "Go to Bethel and sin; go to Gilgal and sin yet more. Bring your sacrifices every morning, your tithes every three years.

5. 누룩 넣은 것을 불살라 수은제로 드리며 낙헌제를 소리내어 광포하려무나 이스라엘 자손들아 이것이 너희의 기뻐하는 바니라 이는 주 여호와의 말씀이니라
  Burn leavened bread as a thank offering and brag about your freewill offerings--boast about them, you Israelites, for this is what you love to do," declares the Sovereign LORD.

6. 또 내가 너희 모든 성읍에서 너희 이를 한가하게 하며 너희 각처에서 양식이 떨어지게 하였으나 너희가 내게로 돌아오지 아니하였느니라 이는 여호와의 말씀이니라
  "I gave you empty stomachs in every city and lack of bread in every town, yet you have not returned to me," declares the LORD.

7. 또 추수하기 석 달 전에 내가 너희에게 비를 멈추어 어떤 성읍에는 내리고 어떤 성읍에는 내리지 않게 하였더니 땅 한 부분은 비를 얻고 한 부분은 비를 얻지 못하여 말랐으매
  "I also withheld rain from you when the harvest was still three months away. I sent rain on one town, but withheld it from another. One field had rain; another had none and dried up.

8. 두 세 성읍 사람이 어떤 성읍으로 비틀거리며 물을 마시러 가서 만족히 마시지 못하였으나 너희가 내게로 돌아오지 아니하였느니라 이는 여호와의 말씀이니라
  People staggered from town to town for water but did not get enough to drink, yet you have not returned to me," declares the LORD.

9. 내가 풍재와 깜부기 재앙으로 너희를 쳤으며 팟종이로 너희의 많은 동산과 포도원과 무화과나무와 감람나무를 다 먹게 하였으나 너희가 내게로 돌아오지 아니하였느니라 이는 여호와의 말씀이니라
  "Many times I struck your gardens and vineyards, I struck them with blight and mildew. Locusts devoured your fig and olive trees, yet you have not returned to me," declares the LORD.

10. 내가 너희 중에 염병이 임하게 하기를 애굽에서 한 것처럼 하였으며 칼로 너희 청년들을 죽였으며 너희 말들을 노략하게 하며 너희 진의 악취로 코를 찌르게 하였으나 너희가 내게로 돌아오지 아니하였느니라 이는 여호와의 말씀이니라
  "I sent plagues among you as I did to Egypt. I killed your young men with the sword, along with your captured horses. I filled your nostrils with the stench of your camps, yet you have not returned to me," declares the LORD.

11. 내가 너희 중의 성읍 무너뜨리기를 하나님 내가 소돔과 고모라를 무너뜨림같이 하였으므로 너희가 불붙는 가운데서 빼낸 나무 조각같이 되었으나 너희가 내게로 돌아오지 아니하였느니라 이는 여호와의 말씀이니라
  "I overthrew some of you as I overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. You were like a burning stick snatched from the fire, yet you have not returned to me," declares the LORD.

12. 그러므로 이스라엘아 내가 이와 같이 네게 행하리라 내가 이것을 네게 행하리니 이스라엘아 네 하나님 만나기를 예비하라
  "Therefore this is what I will do to you, Israel, and because I will do this to you, prepare to meet your God, O Israel."

13. 대저 산들을 지으며 바람을 창조하며 자기 뜻을 사람에게 보이며 아침을 어둡게 하며 땅의 높은 데를 밟는 자는 그 이름이 만군의 하나님 여호와니라
  He who forms the mountains, creates the wind, and reveals his thoughts to man, he who turns dawn to darkness, and treads the high places of the earth--the LORD God Almighty is his name.

시편 148-150

1. 할렐루야 하늘에서 여호와를 찬양하며 높은데서 찬양할찌어다
  Praise the LORD. Praise the LORD from the heavens, praise him in the heights above.

2. 그의 모든 사자여 찬양하며 모든 군대여 찬양할찌어다
  Praise him, all his angels, praise him, all his heavenly hosts.

3. 해와 달아 찬양하며 광명한 별들아 찬양할찌어다
  Praise him, sun and moon, praise him, all you shining stars.

4. 하늘의 하늘도 찬양하며 하늘 위에 있는 물들도 찬양할찌어다
  Praise him, you highest heavens and you waters above the skies.

5. 그것들이 여호와의 이름을 찬양할 것은 저가 명하시매 지음을 받았음이로다
  Let them praise the name of the LORD, for he commanded and they were created.

6. 저가 또 그것들을 영영히 세우시고 폐치 못할 명을 정하셨도다
  He set them in place for ever and ever; he gave a decree that will never pass away.

7. 너희 용들과 바다여 땅에서 여호와를 찬양하라
  Praise the LORD from the earth, you great sea creatures and all ocean depths,

8. 불과 우박과 눈과 안개와 그 말씀을 좇는 광풍이며
  lightning and hail, snow and clouds, stormy winds that do his bidding,

9. 산들과 모든 작은 산과 과목과 모든 백향목이며
  you mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars,

10. 짐승과 모든 가축과 기는 것과 나는 새며
  wild animals and all cattle, small creatures and flying birds,

11. 세상의 왕들과 모든 백성과 방백과 땅의 모든 사사며
  kings of the earth and all nations, you princes and all rulers on earth,

12. 청년 남자와 처녀와 노인과 아이들아
  young men and maidens, old men and children.

13. 다 여호와의 이름을 찬양할찌어다 그 이름이 홀로 높으시며 그 영광이 천지에 뛰어나심이로다
  Let them praise the name of the LORD, for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens.

14. 저가 그 백성의 뿔을 높이셨으니 저는 모든 성도 곧 저를 친근히 하는 이스라엘 자손의 찬양거리로다 할렐루야
  He has raised up for his people a horn, the praise of all his saints, of Israel, the people close to his heart. Praise the LORD.

1. 할렐루야 새 노래로 여호와께 노래하며 성도의 회중에서 찬양할찌어다
  Praise the LORD. Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise in the assembly of the saints.

2. 이스라엘은 자기를 지으신 자로 인하여 즐거워하며 시온의 자민은 저희의 왕으로 인하여 즐거워할찌어다
  Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the people of Zion be glad in their King.

3. 춤 추며 그의 이름을 찬양하며 소고와 수금으로 그를 찬양할찌어다
  Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with tambourine and harp.

4. 여호와께서는 자기 백성을 기뻐하시며 겸손한 자를 구원으로 아름답게 하심이로다
  For the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with salvation.

5. 성도들은 영광 중에 즐거워하며 저희 침상에서 기쁨으로 노래할찌어다
  Let the saints rejoice in this honor and sing for joy on their beds.

6. 그 입에는 하나님의 존영이요 그 수중에는 두 날 가진 칼이로다
  May the praise of God be in their mouths and a double-edged sword in their hands,

7. 이것으로 열방에 보수하며 민족들을 벌하며
  to inflict vengeance on the nations and punishment on the peoples,

8. 저희 왕들은 사슬로, 저희 귀인은 철고랑으로 결박하고
  to bind their kings with fetters, their nobles with shackles of iron,

9. 기록한 판단대로 저희에게 시행할찌로다 이런 영광은 그 모든 성도에게 있도다 할렐루야
  to carry out the sentence written against them. This is the glory of all his saints. Praise the LORD.

1. 할렐루야 그 성소에서 하나님을 찬양하며 그 권능의 궁창에서 그를 찬양할찌어다
  Praise the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens.

2. 그의 능하신 행동을 인하여 찬양하며 그의 지극히 광대하심을 좇아 찬양할찌어다
  Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness.

3. 나팔 소리로 찬양하며 비파와 수금으로 찬양할찌어다
  Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre,

4. 소고 치며 춤 추어 찬양하며 현악과 퉁소로 찬양할찌어다
  praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise him with the strings and flute,

5. 큰 소리 나는 제금으로 찬양하며 높은 소리 나는 제금으로 찬양할찌어다
  praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals.

6. 호흡이 있는 자마다 여호와를 찬양할찌어다 할렐루야
  Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD.
