열왕기하 23

1. 왕이 보내어 유다와 예루살렘의 모든 장로를 자기에게로 모으고
  Then the king called together all the elders of Judah and Jerusalem.

2. 이에 여호와의 전에 올라가매 유다 모든 사람과 예루살렘 거민과 제사장들과 선지자들과 모든 백성이 무론 노소하고 다 왕과 함께한지라 왕이 여호와의 전 안에서 발견한 언약책의 모든 말씀을 읽어 무리의 귀에 들리고
  He went up to the temple of the LORD with the men of Judah, the people of Jerusalem, the priests and the prophets--all the people from the least to the greatest. He read in their hearing all the words of the Book of the Covenant, which had been found in the temple of the LORD.

3. 왕이 대 위에 서서 여호와 앞에서 언약을 세우되 마음을 다하고 성품을 다하여 여호와를 순종하고 그 계명과 법도와 율례를 지켜 이 책에 기록된 이 언약의 말씀을 이루게 하리라 하매 백성이 다 그 언약을 좇기로 하니라
  The king stood by the pillar and renewed the covenant in the presence of the LORD--to follow the LORD and keep his commands, regulations and decrees with all his heart and all his soul, thus confirming the words of the covenant written in this book. Then all the people pledged themselves to the covenant.

4. 왕이 대제사장 힐기야와 모든 버금 제사장들과 문을 지킨 자들에게 명하여 바알과 아세라와 하늘의 일월성신을 위하여 만든 모든 기명을 여호와의 전에서 내어다가 예루살렘 바깥 기드론 밭에서 불사르고 그 재를 벧엘로 가져가게 하고
  The king ordered Hilkiah the high priest, the priests next in rank and the doorkeepers to remove from the temple of the LORD all the articles made for Baal and Asherah and all the starry hosts. He burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of the Kidron Valley and took the ashes to Bethel.

5. 옛적에 유다 왕들이 세워서 유다 모든 고을과 예루살렘 사면 산당에서 분향하며 우상을 섬기게 한 제사장들을 폐하며 또 바알과 해와 달과 열두 궁성과 하늘의 모든 별에게 분향하는 자들을 폐하고
  He did away with the pagan priests appointed by the kings of Judah to burn incense on the high places of the towns of Judah and on those around Jerusalem--those who burned incense to Baal, to the sun and moon, to the constellations and to all the starry hosts.

6. 또 여호와의 전에서 아세라 상을 내어 예루살렘 바깥 기드론 시내로 가져다가 거기서 불사르고 빻아서 가루를 만들어 그 가루를 평민의 묘지에 뿌리고
  He took the Asherah pole from the temple of the LORD to the Kidron Valley outside Jerusalem and burned it there. He ground it to powder and scattered the dust over the graves of the common people.

7. 또 여호와의 전 가운데 미동의 집을 헐었으니 그 곳은 여인이 아세라를 위하여 휘장을 짜는 처소이었더라
  He also tore down the quarters of the male shrine prostitutes, which were in the temple of the LORD and where women did weaving for Asherah.

8. 또 유다 각 성읍에서 모든 제사장을 불러오고 또 제사장이 분향하던 산당을 게바에서부터 브엘세바까지 더럽게 하고 또 성문의 산당들을 헐어 버렸으니 이 산당들은 부윤 여호수아의 대문 어귀 곧 성문 왼편에 있었더라
  Josiah brought all the priests from the towns of Judah and desecrated the high places, from Geba to Beersheba, where the priests had burned incense. He broke down the shrines at the gates--at the entrance to the Gate of Joshua, the city governor, which is on the left of the city gate.

9. 산당의 제사장들은 예루살렘 여호와의 단에 올라가지 못하고 다만 그 형제 중에서 무교병을 먹을 뿐이었더라
  Although the priests of the high places did not serve at the altar of the LORD in Jerusalem, they ate unleavened bread with their fellow priests.

10. 왕이 또 힌놈의 아들 골짜기의 도벳을 더럽게 하여 사람으로 몰록에게 드리기 위하여 그 자녀를 불로 지나가게 하지 못하게 하고
  He desecrated Topheth, which was in the Valley of Ben Hinnom, so no one could use it to sacrifice his son or daughter in the fire to Molech.

11. 또 유다 열왕이 태양을 위하여 드린 말들을 제하여 버렸으니 이 말들은 여호와의 전으로 들어가는 곳의 근처 시종 나단멜렉의 집 곁에 있던 것이며 또 태양 수레를 불사르고
  He removed from the entrance to the temple of the LORD the horses that the kings of Judah had dedicated to the sun. They were in the court near the room of an official named Nathan-Melech. Josiah then burned the chariots dedicated to the sun.

12. 유다 열왕이 아하스의 다락 지붕에 세운 단들과 므낫세가 여호와의 전 두 마당에 세운 단들을 왕이 다 헐고 거기서 빻아 내려서 그 가루를 기드론 시내에 쏟아 버리고
  He pulled down the altars the kings of Judah had erected on the roof near the upper room of Ahaz, and the altars Manasseh had built in the two courts of the temple of the LORD. He removed them from there, smashed them to pieces and threw the rubble into the Kidron Valley.

13. 또 예루살렘 앞 멸망산 우편에 세운 산당을 더럽게 하였으니 이는 옛적에 이스라엘 왕 솔로몬이 시돈 사람의 가증한 아스다롯과 모압 사람의 가증한 그모스와 암몬 자손의 가증한 밀곰을 위하여 세웠던 것이며
  The king also desecrated the high places that were east of Jerusalem on the south of the Hill of Corruption--the ones Solomon king of Israel had built for Ashtoreth the vile goddess of the Sidonians, for Chemosh the vile god of Moab, and for Molech the detestable god of the people of Ammon.

14. 왕이 또 석상들을 깨뜨리며 아세라 목상들을 찍고 사람의 해골로 그 곳에 채웠더라
  Josiah smashed the sacred stones and cut down the Asherah poles and covered the sites with human bones.

15. 이스라엘로 범죄케 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암이 벧엘에 세운 단과 산당을 왕이 헐고 또 그 산당을 불사르고 빻아서 가루를 만들며 또 아세라 목상을 불살랐더라
  Even the altar at Bethel, the high place made by Jeroboam son of Nebat, who had caused Israel to sin--even that altar and high place he demolished. He burned the high place and ground it to powder, and burned the Asherah pole also.

16. 요시야가 몸을 돌이켜 산에 있는 묘실들을 보고 보내어 그 묘실에서 해골을 취하여다가 단 위에 불살라 그 단을 더럽게 하니라 이 일을 하나님의 사람이 전하였더니 그 전한 여호와의 말씀대로 되었더라
  Then Josiah looked around, and when he saw the tombs that were there on the hillside, he had the bones removed from them and burned on the altar to defile it, in accordance with the word of the LORD proclaimed by the man of God who foretold these things.

17. 요시야가 이르되 내게 보이는 저것은 무슨 비석이냐 성읍 사람들이 고하되 왕께서 벧엘의 단에 향하여 행하신 이 일을 전하러 유다에서 왔던 하나님의 사람의 묘실이니이다
  The king asked, "What is that tombstone I see?" The men of the city said, "It marks the tomb of the man of God who came from Judah and pronounced against the altar of Bethel the very things you have done to it."

18. 가로되 그대로 두고 그 뼈를 옮기지 말라 하매 무리가 그 뼈와 사마리아에서 온 선지자의 뼈는 그대로 두었더라
  "Leave it alone," he said. "Don't let anyone disturb his bones." So they spared his bones and those of the prophet who had come from Samaria.

19. 전에 이스라엘 열왕이 사마리아 각 성읍에 지어서 여호와의 노를 격발한 산당을 요시야가 다 제하되 벧엘에서 행한 모든 일대로 행하고
  Just as he had done at Bethel, Josiah removed and defiled all the shrines at the high places that the kings of Israel had built in the towns of Samaria that had provoked the LORD to anger.

20. 또 거기 있는 산당의 제사장들을 다 단 위에서 죽이고 사람의 해골을 단 위에 불사르고 예루살렘으로 돌아왔더라
  Josiah slaughtered all the priests of those high places on the altars and burned human bones on them. Then he went back to Jerusalem.

21. 왕이 뭇 백성에게 명하여 가로되 이 언약책에 기록된 대로 너희의 하나님 여호와를 위하여 유월절을 지키라 하매
  The king gave this order to all the people: "Celebrate the Passover to the LORD your God, as it is written in this Book of the Covenant."

22. 사사가 이스라엘을 다스리던 시대부터 이스라엘 열왕의 시대에든지 유다 열왕의 시대에든지 이렇게 유월절을 지킨 일이 없었더니
  Not since the days of the judges who led Israel, nor throughout the days of the kings of Israel and the kings of Judah, had any such Passover been observed.

23. 요시야 왕 십팔년에 예루살렘에서 여호와 앞에 이 유월절을 지켰더라
  But in the eighteenth year of King Josiah, this Passover was celebrated to the LORD in Jerusalem.

24. 요시야가 또 유다 땅과 예루살렘에 보이는 신접한 자와 박수와 드라빔과 우상과 모든 가증한 것을 다 제하였으니 이는 대제사장 힐기야가 여호와의 전에서 발견한 책에 기록된 율법 말씀을 이루려 함이라
  Furthermore, Josiah got rid of the mediums and spiritists, the household gods, the idols and all the other detestable things seen in Judah and Jerusalem. This he did to fulfill the requirements of the law written in the book that Hilkiah the priest had discovered in the temple of the LORD.

25. 요시야와 같이 마음을 다하며 성품을 다하며 힘을 다하여 여호와를 향하여 모세의 모든 율법을 온전히 준행한 임금은 요시야 전에도 없었고 후에도 그와 같은 자가 없었더라
  Neither before nor after Josiah was there a king like him who turned to the LORD as he did--with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his strength, in accordance with all the Law of Moses.

26. 그러나 여호와께서 유다를 향하여 진노하신 그 크게 타오르는 진노를 돌이키지 아니하셨으니 이는 므낫세가 여호와를 격노케 한 그 모든 격노를 인함이라
  Nevertheless, the LORD did not turn away from the heat of his fierce anger, which burned against Judah because of all that Manasseh had done to provoke him to anger.

27. 여호와께서 가라사대 내가 이스라엘을 물리친 것같이 유다도 내 앞에서 물리치며 내가 뺀 이 성 예루살렘과 내 이름을 거기 두리라 한 이 전을 버리리라 하셨더라
  So the LORD said, "I will remove Judah also from my presence as I removed Israel, and I will reject Jerusalem, the city I chose, and this temple, about which I said, 'There shall my Name be.'"

28. 요시야의 남은 사적과 모든 행한 일은 유다 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
  As for the other events of Josiah's reign, and all he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Judah?

29. 요시야 당시에 애굽 왕 바로느고가 앗수르 왕을 치고자 하여 유브라데 하수로 올라가므로 요시야 왕이 나가서 방비하더니 애굽 왕이 요시야를 므깃도에서 만나 본 후에 죽인지라
  While Josiah was king, Pharaoh Neco king of Egypt went up to the Euphrates River to help the king of Assyria. King Josiah marched out to meet him in battle, but Neco faced him and killed him at Megiddo.

30. 신복들이 그 시체를 병거에 싣고 므깃도에서 예루살렘으로 돌아와서 그 묘실에 장사하니 국민이 요시야의 아들 여호아하스를 데려다가 저에게 기름을 붓고 그 부친을 대신하여 왕을 삼았더라
  Josiah's servants brought his body in a chariot from Megiddo to Jerusalem and buried him in his own tomb. And the people of the land took Jehoahaz son of Josiah and anointed him and made him king in place of his father.

31. 여호아하스가 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 이십삼 세라 예루살렘에서 석 달을 치리하니라 그 모친의 이름은 하무달이라 립나 예레미야의 딸이더라
  Jehoahaz was twenty-three years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. His mother's name was Hamutal daughter of Jeremiah; she was from Libnah.

32. 여호아하스가 그 열조의 모든 행위대로 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하였더니
  He did evil in the eyes of the LORD, just as his fathers had done.

33. 바로느고가 저를 하맛 땅 립나에 가두어 예루살렘에서 왕이 되지 못하게 하고 또 그 나라로 은 일백 달란트와 금 한 달란트를 벌금으로 내게 하고
  Pharaoh Neco put him in chains at Riblah in the land of Hamath so that he might not reign in Jerusalem, and he imposed on Judah a levy of a hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold.

34. 바로느고가 요시야의 아들 엘리아김으로 그 아비 요시야를 대신하여 왕을 삼고 그 이름을 고쳐 여호야김이라 하고 여호아하스는 애굽으로 잡아갔더니 저가 거기서 죽으니라
  Pharaoh Neco made Eliakim son of Josiah king in place of his father Josiah and changed Eliakim's name to Jehoiakim. But he took Jehoahaz and carried him off to Egypt, and there he died.

35. 여호야김이 은과 금을 바로에게 주니라 저가 바로느고의 명령대로 그에게 그 돈을 주기 위하여 나라에 부과하되 국민 각 사람의 힘대로 액수를 정하고 은금을 늑봉하였더라
  Jehoiakim paid Pharaoh Neco the silver and gold he demanded. In order to do so, he taxed the land and exacted the silver and gold from the people of the land according to their assessments.

36. 여호야김이 왕이 될 때에 나이 이십오 세라 예루살렘에서 십일 년을 치리하니라 그 모친의 이름은 스비다라 루마 브다야의 딸이더라
  Jehoiakim was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem eleven years. His mother's name was Zebidah daughter of Pedaiah; she was from Rumah.

37. 여호야김이 그 열조의 모든 행한 일을 본받아 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하였더라
  And he did evil in the eyes of the LORD, just as his fathers had done.

히브리서 5

1. 대제사장마다 사람 가운데서 취한 자이므로 하나님께 속한 일에 사람을 위하여 예물과 속죄하는 제사를 드리게 하나니
  Every high priest is selected from among men and is appointed to represent them in matters related to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins.

2. 저가 무식하고 미혹한 자를 능히 용납할 수 있는 것은 자기도 연약에 싸여 있음이니라
  He is able to deal gently with those who are ignorant and are going astray, since he himself is subject to weakness.

3. 이러므로 백성을 위하여 속죄제를 드림과 같이 또한 자기를 위하여 드리는 것이 마땅하니라
  This is why he has to offer sacrifices for his own sins, as well as for the sins of the people.

4. 이 존귀는 아무나 스스로 취하지 못하고 오직 아론과 같이 하나님의 부르심을 입은 자라야 할 것이니라
  No one takes this honor upon himself; he must be called by God, just as Aaron was.

5. 또한 이와 같이 그리스도께서 대제사장 되심도 스스로 영광을 취하심이 아니요 오직 말씀하신 이가 저더러 이르시되 너는 내 아들이니 내가 오늘날 너를 낳았다 하셨고
  So Christ also did not take upon himself the glory of becoming a high priest. But God said to him, "You are my Son; today I have become your Father."

6. 또한 이와 같이 다른 데 말씀하시되 네가 영원히 멜기세덱의 반차를 좇는 제사장이라 하셨으니
  And he says in another place, "You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek."

7. 그는 육체에 계실 때에 자기를 죽음에서 능히 구원하실 이에게 심한 통곡과 눈물로 간구와 소원을 올렸고 그의 경외하심을 인하여 들으심을 얻었느니라
  During the days of Jesus' life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission.

8. 그가 아들이시라도 받으신 고난으로 순종함을 배워서
  Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered

9. 온전하게 되었은즉 자기를 순종하는 모든 자에게 영원한 구원의 근원이 되시고
  and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him

10. 하나님께 멜기세덱의 반차를 좇은 대제사장이라 칭하심을 받았느니라
  and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.

11. 멜기세덱에 관하여는 우리가 할 말이 많으나 너희의 듣는 것이 둔하므로 해석하기 어려우니라
  We have much to say about this, but it is hard to explain because you are slow to learn.

12. 때가 오래므로 너희가 마땅히 선생이 될 터인데 너희가 다시 하나님의 말씀의 초보가 무엇인지 누구에게 가르침을 받아야 할 것이니 젖이나 먹고 단단한 식물을 못 먹을 자가 되었도다
  In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food!

13. 대저 젖을 먹는 자마다 어린아이니 의의 말씀을 경험하지 못한 자요
  Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness.

14. 단단한 식물은 장성한 자의 것이니 저희는 지각을 사용하므로 연단을 받아 선악을 분변하는 자들이니라
  But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

요엘 2

1. 시온에서 나팔을 불며 나의 성산에서 호각을 불어 이 땅 거민으로 다 떨게 할찌니 이는 여호와의 날이 이르게 됨이니라 이제 임박하였으니
  Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill. Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming. It is close at hand--

2. 곧 어둡고 캄캄한 날이요 빽빽한 구름이 끼인 날이라 새벽 빛이 산꼭대기에 덮인 것과 같으니 이는 많고 강한 백성이 이르렀음이라 이같은 것이 자고 이래로 없었고 이후 세세에 없으리로다
  a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness. Like dawn spreading across the mountains a large and mighty army comes, such as never was of old nor ever will be in ages to come.

3. 불이 그들의 앞을 사르며 불꽃이 그들의 뒤를 태우니 그 전의 땅은 에덴 동산 같았으나 그 후의 땅은 황무한 들 같으니 그들을 피한 자가 없도다
  Before them fire devours, behind them a flame blazes. Before them the land is like the garden of Eden, behind them, a desert waste--nothing escapes them.

4. 그 모양은 말 같고 그 달리는 것은 기병 같으며
  They have the appearance of horses; they gallop along like cavalry.

5. 그들의 산꼭대기에서 뛰는 소리가 병거 소리와도 같고 불꽃이 초개를 사르는 소리와도 같으며 강한 군사가 항오를 벌이고 싸우는 것 같으니
  With a noise like that of chariots they leap over the mountaintops, like a crackling fire consuming stubble, like a mighty army drawn up for battle.

6. 그 앞에서 만민이 송구하여 하며 무리의 낯빛이 하얘졌도다
  At the sight of them, nations are in anguish; every face turns pale.

7. 그들이 용사같이 달리며 무사같이 성을 더위잡고 오르며 각기 자기의 길로 행하되 그 항오를 어기지 아니하며
  They charge like warriors; they scale walls like soldiers. They all march in line, not swerving from their course.

8. 피차에 부딪히지 아니하고 각기 자기의 길로 행하며 병기를 충돌하고 나아가나 상치 아니하며
  They do not jostle each other; each marches straight ahead. They plunge through defenses without breaking ranks.

9. 성중에 뛰어 들어가며 성 위에 달리며 집에 더위잡고 오르며 도적같이 창으로 들어가니
  They rush upon the city; they run along the wall. They climb into the houses; like thieves they enter through the windows.

10. 그 앞에서 땅이 진동하며 하늘이 떨며 일월이 캄캄하며 별들이 빛을 거두도다
  Before them the earth shakes, the sky trembles, the sun and moon are darkened, and the stars no longer shine.

11. 여호와께서 그 군대 앞에서 소리를 발하시고 그 진은 심히 크고 그 명령을 행하는 자는 강하니 여호와의 날이 크고 심히 두렵도다 당할 자가 누구이랴
  The LORD thunders at the head of his army; his forces are beyond number, and mighty are those who obey his command. The day of the LORD is great; it is dreadful. Who can endure it?

12. 여호와의 말씀에 너희는 이제라도 금식하며 울며 애통하고 마음을 다하여 내게로 돌아오라 하셨나니
  'Even now,' declares the LORD, 'return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.'

13. 너희는 옷을 찢지 말고 마음을 찢고 너희 하나님 여호와께로 돌아올찌어다 그는 은혜로우시며 자비로우시며 노하기를 더디하시며 인애가 크시사 뜻을 돌이켜 재앙을 내리지 아니하시나니
  Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the LORD your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity.

14. 주께서 혹시 마음과 뜻을 돌이키시고 그 뒤에 복을 끼치사 너희 하나님 여호와께 소제와 전제를 드리게 하지 아니하실는지 누가 알겠느냐
  Who knows? He may turn and have pity and leave behind a blessing--grain offerings and drink offerings for the LORD your God.

15. 너희는 시온에서 나팔을 불어 거룩한 금식일을 정하고 성회를 선고하고
  Blow the trumpet in Zion, declare a holy fast, call a sacred assembly.

16. 백성을 모아 그 회를 거룩케 하고 장로를 모으며 소아와 젖 먹는 자를 모으며 신랑을 그 방에서 나오게 하며 신부도 그 골방에서 나오게 하고
  Gather the people, consecrate the assembly; bring together the elders, gather the children, those nursing at the breast. Let the bridegroom leave his room and the bride her chamber.

17. 여호와께 수종드는 제사장들은 낭실과 단 사이에서 울며 이르기를 여호와여 주의 백성을 긍휼히 여기소서 주의 기업으로 욕되게 하여 열국들로 그들을 관할하지 못하게 하옵소서 어찌하여 이방인으로 그들의 하나님이 어디 있느뇨 말하게 하겠나이까 할찌어다
  Let the priests, who minister before the LORD, weep between the temple porch and the altar. Let them say, 'Spare your people, O LORD. Do not make your inheritance an object of scorn, a byword among the nations. Why should they say among the peoples, 'Where is their God?''

18. 그 때에 여호와께서 자기 땅을 위하여 중심이 뜨거우시며 그 백성을 긍휼히 여기실 것이라
  Then the LORD will be jealous for his land and take pity on his people.

19. 여호와께서 그들에게 응답하여 이르시기를 내가 너희에게 곡식과 새 포도주와 기름을 주리니 너희가 이로 인하여 흡족하리라 내가 다시는 너희로 열국 중에서 욕을 당하지 않게 할 것이며
  The LORD will reply to them: 'I am sending you grain, new wine and oil, enough to satisfy you fully; never again will I make you an object of scorn to the nations.

20. 내가 북편 군대를 너희에게서 멀리 떠나게 하여 메마르고 적막한 땅으로 쫓아내리니 그 전군은 동해로, 그 후군은 서해로 들어갈 것이라 상한 냄새가 일어나고 악취가 오르리니 이는 큰 일을 행하였음이니라 하시리라
  'I will drive the northern army far from you, pushing it into a parched and barren land, with its front columns going into the eastern sea and those in the rear into the western sea. And its stench will go up; its smell will rise.' Surely he has done great things.

21. 땅이여 두려워 말고 기뻐하며 즐거워할찌어다 여호와께서 큰 일을 행하셨음이로다
  Be not afraid, O land; be glad and rejoice. Surely the LORD has done great things.

22. 들짐승들아 두려워 말찌어다 들의 풀이 싹이 나며 나무가 열매를 맺으며 무화과나무와 포도나무가 다 힘을 내는도다
  Be not afraid, O wild animals, for the open pastures are becoming green. The trees are bearing their fruit; the fig tree and the vine yield their riches.

23. 시온의 자녀들아 너희는 너희 하나님 여호와로 인하여 기뻐하며 즐거워할찌어다 그가 너희를 위하여 비를 내리시되 이른 비를 너희에게 적당하게 주시리니 이른 비와 늦은 비가 전과 같을 것이라
  Be glad, O people of Zion, rejoice in the LORD your God, for he has given you the autumn rains in righteousness. He sends you abundant showers, both autumn and spring rains, as before.

24. 마당에는 밀이 가득하고 독에는 새 포도주와 기름이 넘치리로다
  The threshing floors will be filled with grain; the vats will overflow with new wine and oil.

25. 내가 전에 너희에게 보낸 큰 군대 곧 메뚜기와 늣과 황충과 팟종이의 먹은 햇수대로 너희에게 갚아 주리니
  'I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten--the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm--my great army that I sent among you.

26. 너희는 먹되 풍족히 먹고 너희를 기이히 대접한 너희 하나님 여호와의 이름을 찬송할 것이라 내 백성이 영영히 수치를 당치 아니하리로다
  You will have plenty to eat, until you are full, and you will praise the name of the LORD your God, who has worked wonders for you; never again will my people be shamed.

27. 그런즉 내가 이스라엘 가운데 있어 너희 하나님 여호와가 되고 다른 이가 없는 줄을 너희가 알 것이라 내 백성이 영영히 수치를 당치 아니하리로다
  Then you will know that I am in Israel, that I am the LORD your God, and that there is no other; never again will my people be shamed.

28. 그 후에 내가 내 신을 만민에게 부어 주리니 너희 자녀들이 장래 일을 말할 것이며 너희 늙은이는 꿈을 꾸며 너희 젊은이는 이상을 볼 것이며
  'And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.

29. 그 때에 내가 또 내 신으로 남종과 여종에게 부어 줄 것이며
  Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days.

30. 내가 이적을 하늘과 땅에 베풀리니 곧 피와 불과 연기 기둥이라
  I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke.

31. 여호와의 크고 두려운 날이 이르기 전에 해가 어두워지고 달이 핏빛같이 변하려니와
  The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.

32. 누구든지 여호와의 이름을 부르는 자는 구원을 얻으리니 이는 나 여호와의 말대로 시온 산과 예루살렘에서 피할 자가 있을 것임이요 남은 자 중에 나 여호와의 부름을 받을 자가 있을 것임이니라
  And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the LORD has said, among the survivors whom the LORD calls.

시편 142

1. 내가 소리 내어 여호와께 부르짖으며 소리 내어 여호와께 간구하는도다
  A maskil of David. When he was in the cave. A prayer. I cry aloud to the LORD; I lift up my voice to the LORD for mercy.

2. 내가 내 원통함을 그 앞에 토하며 내 우환을 그 앞에 진술하는도다
  I pour out my complaint before him; before him I tell my trouble.

3. 내 심령이 속에서 상할 때에도 주께서 내 길을 아셨나이다 나의 행하는 길에 저희가 나를 잡으려고 올무를 숨겼나이다
  When my spirit grows faint within me, it is you who know my way. In the path where I walk men have hidden a snare for me.

4. 내 우편을 살펴보소서 나를 아는 자도 없고 피난처도 없고 내 영혼을 돌아보는 자도 없나이다
  Look to my right and see; no one is concerned for me. I have no refuge; no one cares for my life.

5. 여호와여 내가 주께 부르짖어 말하기를 주는 나의 피난처시요 생존 세계에서 나의 분깃이시라 하였나이다
  I cry to you, O LORD; I say, "You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living."

6. 나의 부르짖음을 들으소서 나는 심히 비천하니이다 나를 핍박하는 자에게서 건지소서 저희는 나보다 강하니이다
  Listen to my cry, for I am in desperate need; rescue me from those who pursue me, for they are too strong for me.

7. 내 영혼을 옥에서 이끌어 내사 주의 이름을 감사케 하소서 주께서 나를 후대하시리니 의인이 나를 두르리이다
  Set me free from my prison, that I may praise your name. Then the righteous will gather about me because of your goodness to me.
