열왕기하 21

1. 므낫세가 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 십이 세라 예루살렘에서 오십오 년을 치리하니라 그 모친의 이름은 헵시바더라
  Manasseh was twelve years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem fifty-five years. His mother's name was Hephzibah.

2. 므낫세가 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하여 여호와께서 이스라엘 자손 앞에서 쫓아내신 이방 사람의 가증한 일을 본받아서
  He did evil in the eyes of the LORD, following the detestable practices of the nations the LORD had driven out before the Israelites.

3. 그 부친 히스기야의 헐어 버린 산당을 다시 세우며 이스라엘 왕 아합의 소위를 본받아 바알을 위하여 단을 쌓으며 아세라 목상을 만들며 하늘의 일월성신을 숭배하여 섬기며
  He rebuilt the high places his father Hezekiah had destroyed; he also erected altars to Baal and made an Asherah pole, as Ahab king of Israel had done. He bowed down to all the starry hosts and worshiped them.

4. 여호와께서 전에 이르시기를 내가 내 이름을 예루살렘에 두리라 하신 여호와의 전의 단들을 쌓고
  He built altars in the temple of the LORD, of which the LORD had said, "In Jerusalem I will put my Name."

5. 또 여호와의 전 두 마당에 하늘의 일월성신을 위하여 단들을 쌓고
  In both courts of the temple of the LORD, he built altars to all the starry hosts.

6. 또 그 아들을 불 가운데로 지나게 하며 점치며 사술을 행하며 신접한 자와 박수를 신임하여 여호와 보시기에 악을 많이 행하여 그 진노를 격발하였으며
  He sacrificed his own son in the fire, practiced sorcery and divination, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the eyes of the LORD, provoking him to anger.

7. 또 자기가 만든 아로새긴 아세라 목상을 전에 세웠더라 옛적에 여호와께서 이 전에 대하여 다윗과 그 아들 솔로몬에게 이르시기를 내가 이스라엘 모든 지파 중에서 택한 이 전과 예루살렘에 내 이름을 영원히 둘찌라
  He took the carved Asherah pole he had made and put it in the temple, of which the LORD had said to David and to his son Solomon, "In this temple and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put my Name forever.

8. 만일 이스라엘이 나의 모든 명령과 나의 종 모세의 명한 모든 율법을 지켜 행하면 내가 그들의 발로 다시는 그 열조에게 준 땅에서 떠나 유리하지 않게 하리라 하셨으나
  I will not again make the feet of the Israelites wander from the land I gave their forefathers, if only they will be careful to do everything I commanded them and will keep the whole Law that my servant Moses gave them."

9. 이 백성이 듣지 아니하였고 므낫세의 꾀임을 받고 악을 행한 것이 여호와께서 이스라엘 자손 앞에서 멸하신 열방보다 더욱 심하였더라
  But the people did not listen. Manasseh led them astray, so that they did more evil than the nations the LORD had destroyed before the Israelites.

10. 여호와께서 그 종 모든 선지자들로 말씀하여 가라사대
  The LORD said through his servants the prophets:

11. 유다 왕 므낫세가 이 가증한 일과 악을 행함이 그 전에 있던 아모리 사람의 행위보다 더욱 심하였고 또 그 우상으로 유다를 범죄케 하였도다
  "Manasseh king of Judah has committed these detestable sins. He has done more evil than the Amorites who preceded him and has led Judah into sin with his idols.

12. 그러므로 이스라엘 하나님 여호와가 말하노니 내가 이제 예루살렘과 유다에 재앙을 내리리니 듣는 자마다 두 귀가 울리리라
  Therefore this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: I am going to bring such disaster on Jerusalem and Judah that the ears of everyone who hears of it will tingle.

13. 내가 사마리아를 잰 줄과 아합의 집을 다림보던 추로 예루살렘에 베풀고 또 사람이 그릇을 씻어 엎음 같이 예루살렘을 씻어 버릴찌라
  I will stretch out over Jerusalem the measuring line used against Samaria and the plumb line used against the house of Ahab. I will wipe out Jerusalem as one wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down.

14. 내가 나의 기업에서 남은 자를 버려 그 대적의 손에 붙인즉 저희가 모든 대적에게 노략과 겁탈이 되리니
  I will forsake the remnant of my inheritance and hand them over to their enemies. They will be looted and plundered by all their foes,

15. 이는 애굽에서 나온 그 열조 때부터 오늘까지 나의 보기에 악을 행하여 나의 노를 격발하였음이니라 하셨더라
  because they have done evil in my eyes and have provoked me to anger from the day their forefathers came out of Egypt until this day."

16. 므낫세가 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하여 유다로 범하게 한 그 죄 외에 또 무죄한 자의 피를 심히 많이 흘려 예루살렘 이 가에서 저 가까지 가득하게 하였더라
  Moreover, Manasseh also shed so much innocent blood that he filled Jerusalem from end to end--besides the sin that he had caused Judah to commit, so that they did evil in the eyes of the LORD.

17. 므낫세의 남은 사적과 무릇 그 행한 바와 범한 죄는 유다 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
  As for the other events of Manasseh's reign, and all he did, including the sin he committed, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Judah?

18. 므낫세가 그 열조와 함께 자매 그 궁궐 동산 곧 웃사의 동산에 장사되고 그 아들 아몬이 대신하여 왕이 되니라
  Manasseh rested with his fathers and was buried in his palace garden, the garden of Uzza. And Amon his son succeeded him as king.

19. 아몬이 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 이십이 세라 예루살렘에서 이 년을 치리하니라 그 모친의 이름은 므술레멧이라 욧바 하루스의 딸이더라
  Amon was twenty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem two years. His mother's name was Meshullemeth daughter of Haruz; she was from Jotbah.

20. 아몬이 그 부친 므낫세의 행함같이 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하되
  He did evil in the eyes of the LORD, as his father Manasseh had done.

21. 그 부친의 행한 모든 길로 행하여 그 부친의 섬기던 우상을 섬겨 경배하고
  He walked in all the ways of his father; he worshiped the idols his father had worshiped, and bowed down to them.

22. 그 열조의 하나님 여호와를 버리고 그 길로 행치 아니하더니
  He forsook the LORD, the God of his fathers, and did not walk in the way of the LORD.

23. 그 신복들이 반역하여 왕을 궁중에서 죽이매
  Amon's officials conspired against him and assassinated the king in his palace.

24. 그 국민이 아몬 왕을 반역한 사람들을 다 죽이고 그 아들 요시야로 대신하여 왕을 삼았더라
  Then the people of the land killed all who had plotted against King Amon, and they made Josiah his son king in his place.

25. 아몬의 행한 바 남은 사적은 유다 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
  As for the other events of Amon's reign, and what he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Judah?

26. 아몬이 웃시야의 동산 자기 묘실에 장사되고 그 아들 요시야가 대신하여 왕이 되니라
  He was buried in his grave in the garden of Uzza. And Josiah his son succeeded him as king.

히브리서 3

1. 그러므로 함께 하늘의 부르심을 입은 거룩한 형제들아 우리의 믿는 도리의 사도시며 대제사장이신 예수를 깊이 생각하라
  Therefore, holy brothers, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, the apostle and high priest whom we confess.

2. 저가 자기를 세우신 이에게 충성하시기를 모세가 하나님의 온 집에서 한 것과 같으니
  He was faithful to the one who appointed him, just as Moses was faithful in all God's house.

3. 저는 모세보다 더욱 영광을 받을 만한 것이 마치 집 지은 자가 그 집보다 더욱 존귀함 같으니라
  Jesus has been found worthy of greater honor than Moses, just as the builder of a house has greater honor than the house itself.

4. 집마다 지은 이가 있으니 만물을 지으신 이는 하나님이시라
  For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything.

5. 또한 모세는 장래에 말할 것을 증거하기 위하여 하나님의 온 집에서 사환으로 충성하였고
  Moses was faithful as a servant in all God's house, testifying to what would be said in the future.

6. 그리스도는 그의 집 맡은 아들로 충성하였으니 우리가 소망의 담대함과 자랑을 끝까지 견고히 잡으면 그의 집이라
  But Christ is faithful as a son over God's house. And we are his house, if we hold on to our courage and the hope of which we boast.

7. 그러므로 성령이 이르신 바와 같이 오늘날 너희가 그의 음성을 듣거든
  So, as the Holy Spirit says: "Today, if you hear his voice,

8. 노하심을 격동하여 광야에서 시험하던 때와 같이 너희 마음을 강퍅케 하지 말라
  do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion, during the time of testing in the desert,

9. 거기서 너희 열조가 나를 시험하여 증험하고 사십 년 동안에 나의 행사를 보았느니라
  where your fathers tested and tried me and for forty years saw what I did.

10. 그러므로 내가 이 세대를 노하여 가로되 저희가 항상 마음이 미혹되어 내 길을 알지 못하는도다 하였고
  That is why I was angry with that generation, and I said, 'Their hearts are always going astray, and they have not known my ways.'

11. 내가 노하여 맹세한 바와 같이 저희는 내 안식에 들어오지 못하리라 하셨다 하였으니
  So I declared on oath in my anger, 'They shall never enter my rest.'"

12. 형제들아 너희가 삼가 혹 너희 중에 누가 믿지 아니하는 악심을 품고 살아 계신 하나님에게서 떨어질까 염려할 것이요
  See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.

13. 오직 오늘이라 일컫는 동안에 매일 피차 권면하여 너희 중에 누구든지 죄의 유혹으로 강퍅케 됨을 면하라
  But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness.

14. 우리가 시작할 때에 확실한 것을 끝까지 견고히 잡으면 그리스도와 함께 참예한 자가 되리라
  We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first.

15. 성경에 일렀으되 오늘날 너희가 그의 음성을 듣거든 노하심을 격동할 때와 같이 너희 마음을 강퍅케 하지 말라 하였으니
  As has just been said: "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion."

16. 듣고 격노케 하던 자가 누구뇨 모세를 좇아 애굽에서 나온 모든 이가 아니냐
  Who were they who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt?

17. 또 하나님이 사십 년 동안에 누구에게 노하셨느뇨 범죄하여 그 시체가 광야에 엎드러진 자에게가 아니냐
  And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the desert?

18. 또 하나님이 누구에게 맹세하사 그의 안식에 들어오지 못하리라 하셨느뇨 곧 순종치 아니하던 자에게가 아니냐
  And to whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest if not to those who disobeyed?

19. 이로 보건대 저희가 믿지 아니하므로 능히 들어가지 못한 것이라
  So we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief.

호세아 14

1. 이스라엘아 네 하나님 여호와께로 돌아오라 네가 불의함을 인하여 엎드러졌느니라
  Return, O Israel, to the LORD your God. Your sins have been your downfall!

2. 너는 말씀을 가지고 여호와께로 돌아와서 아뢰기를 모든 불의를 제하시고 선한 바를 받으소서 우리가 입술로 수송아지를 대신하여 주께 드리리이다
  Take words with you and return to the LORD. Say to him: "Forgive all our sins and receive us graciously, that we may offer the fruit of our lips.

3. 우리가 앗수르의 구원을 의지하지 아니하며 말을 타지 아니하며 다시는 우리의 손으로 지은 것을 향하여 너희는 우리 신이라 하지 아니하오리니 이는 고아가 주께로 말미암아 긍휼을 얻음이니이다 할찌니라
  Assyria cannot save us; we will not mount war-horses. We will never again say 'Our gods' to what our own hands have made, for in you the fatherless find compassion."

4. 내가 저희의 패역을 고치고 즐거이 저희를 사랑하리니 나의 진노가 저에게서 떠났음이니라
  "I will heal their waywardness and love them freely, for my anger has turned away from them.

5. 내가 이스라엘에게 이슬과 같으리니 저가 백합화같이 피겠고 레바논 백향목같이 뿌리가 박힐 것이라
  I will be like the dew to Israel; he will blossom like a lily. Like a cedar of Lebanon he will send down his roots;

6. 그 가지는 퍼지며 그 아름다움은 감람나무와 같고 그 향기는 레바논 백향목 같으리니
  his young shoots will grow. His splendor will be like an olive tree, his fragrance like a cedar of Lebanon.

7. 그 그늘 아래 거하는 자가 돌아올찌라 저희는 곡식 같이 소성할 것이며 포도나무 같이 꽃이 필 것이며 그 향기는 레바논의 포도주 같이 되리라
  Men will dwell again in his shade. He will flourish like the grain. He will blossom like a vine, and his fame will be like the wine from Lebanon.

8. 에브라임의 말이 내가 다시 우상과 무슨 상관이 있으리요 할찌라 내가 저를 돌아보아 대답하기를 나는 푸른 잣나무 같으니 네가 나로 말미암아 열매를 얻으리라 하리라
  O Ephraim, what more have I to do with idols? I will answer him and care for him. I am like a green pine tree; your fruitfulness comes from me."

9. 누가 지혜가 있어 이런 일을 깨달으며 누가 총명이 있어 이런 일을 알겠느냐 여호와의 도는 정직하니 의인이라야 그 도에 행하리라 그러나 죄인은 그 도에 거쳐 넘어지리라
  Who is wise? He will realize these things. Who is discerning? He will understand them. The ways of the LORD are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.

시편 139

1. 여호와여 주께서 나를 감찰하시고 아셨나이다
  For the director of music. Of David. A psalm. O LORD, you have searched me and you know me.

2. 주께서 나의 앉고 일어섬을 아시며 멀리서도 나의 생각을 통촉하시오며
  You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.

3. 나의 길과 눕는 것을 감찰하시며 나의 모든 행위를 익히 아시오니
  You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.

4. 여호와여 내 혀의 말을 알지 못하시는 것이 하나도 없으시니이다
  Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O LORD.

5. 주께서 나의 전후를 두르시며 내게 안수하셨나이다
  You hem me in--behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me.

6. 이 지식이 내게 너무 기이하니 높아서 내가 능히 미치지 못하나이다
  Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.

7. 내가 주의 신을 떠나 어디로 가며 주의 앞에서 어디로 피하리이까
  Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?

8. 내가 하늘에 올라갈찌라도 거기 계시며 음부에 내 자리를 펼찌라도 거기 계시니이다
  If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.

9. 내가 새벽 날개를 치며 바다 끝에 가서 거할찌라도
  If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea,

10. 곧 거기서도 주의 손이 나를 인도하시며 주의 오른손이 나를 붙드시리이다
  even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.

11. 내가 혹시 말하기를 흑암이 정녕 나를 덮고 나를 두른 빛은 밤이 되리라 할찌라도
  If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,"

12. 주에게서는 흑암이 숨기지 못하며 밤이 낮과 같이 비취나니 주에게는 흑암과 빛이 일반이니이다
  even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you.

13. 주께서 내 장부를 지으시며 나의 모태에서 나를 조직하셨나이다
  For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.

14. 내가 주께 감사하옴은 나를 지으심이 신묘막측하심이라 주의 행사가 기이함을 내 영혼이 잘 아나이다
  I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

15. 내가 은밀한 데서 지음을 받고 땅의 깊은 곳에서 기이하게 지음을 받은 때에 나의 형체가 주의 앞에 숨기우지 못하였나이다
  My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,

16. 내 형질이 이루기 전에 주의 눈이 보셨으며 나를 위하여 정한 날이 하나도 되기 전에 주의 책에 다 기록이 되었나이다
  your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

17. 하나님이여 주의 생각이 내게 어찌 그리 보배로우신지요 그 수가 어찌 그리 많은지요
  How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!

18. 내가 세려고 할찌라도 그 수가 모래보다 많도소이다 내가 깰 때에도 오히려 주와 함께 있나이다
  Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. When I awake, I am still with you.

19. 하나님이여 주께서 정녕히 악인을 죽이시리이다 피 흘리기를 즐기는 자들아 나를 떠날찌어다
  If only you would slay the wicked, O God! Away from me, you bloodthirsty men!

20. 저희가 주를 대하여 악하게 말하며 주의 원수들이 헛되이 주의 이름을 칭하나이다
  They speak of you with evil intent; your adversaries misuse your name.

21. 여호와여 내가 주를 미워하는 자를 미워하지 아니하오며 주를 치러 일어나는 자를 한하지 아니하나이까
  Do I not hate those who hate you, O LORD, and abhor those who rise up against you?

22. 내가 저희를 심히 미워하니 저희는 나의 원수니이다
  I have nothing but hatred for them; I count them my enemies.

23. 하나님이여 나를 살피사 내 마음을 아시며 나를 시험하사 내 뜻을 아옵소서
  Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.

24. 내게 무슨 악한 행위가 있나 보시고 나를 영원한 길로 인도하소서
  See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
