열왕기하 15

1. 이스라엘 왕 여로보암 이십칠 년에 유다 왕 아마샤의 아들 아사랴가 왕이 되니
  In the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah began to reign.

2. 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 십 륙세라 예루살렘에서 오십 이년을 치리하니라 그 모친의 이름은 여골리야라 예루살렘 사람이더라
  He was sixteen years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem fifty-two years. His mother's name was Jecoliah; she was from Jerusalem.

3. 아사랴가 그 부친 아마샤의 모든 행위대로 여호와 보시기에 정직히 행하였으나
  He did what was right in the eyes of the LORD, just as his father Amaziah had done.

4. 오직 산당은 제하지 아니하였으므로 백성이 오히려 그 산당에서 제사를 드리며 분향하였고
  The high places, however, were not removed; the people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense there.

5. 여호와께서 왕을 치셨으므로 그 죽는 날까지 문둥이가 되어 별궁에 거하고 왕자 요담이 궁중 일을 다스리며 국민을 치리하였더라
  The LORD afflicted the king with leprosy until the day he died, and he lived in a separate house. Jotham the king's son had charge of the palace and governed the people of the land.

6. 아사랴의 남은 사적과 모든 행한 일은 유다 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
  As for the other events of Azariah's reign, and all he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Judah?

7. 아사랴가 그 열조와 함께 자매 다윗 성에 그 열조와 함께 장사되고 그 아들 요담이 대신하여 왕이 되니라
  Azariah rested with his fathers and was buried near them in the City of David. And Jotham his son succeeded him as king.

8. 유다 왕 아사랴의 삼십팔 년에 여로보암의 아들 스가랴가 사마리아에서 이스라엘 왕이 되어 여섯 달을 치리하며
  In the thirty-eighth year of Azariah king of Judah, Zechariah son of Jeroboam became king of Israel in Samaria, and he reigned six months.

9. 그 열조의 행위대로 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하여 이스라엘로 범죄케 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 죄에서 떠나지 아니한지라
  He did evil in the eyes of the LORD, as his fathers had done. He did not turn away from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he had caused Israel to commit.

10. 야베스의 아들 살룸이 저를 모반하여 백성 앞에서 쳐죽이고 대신하여 왕이 되니라
  Shallum son of Jabesh conspired against Zechariah. He attacked him in front of the people, assassinated him and succeeded him as king.

11. 스가랴의 남은 사적은 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되니라
  The other events of Zechariah's reign are written in the book of the annals of the kings of Israel.

12. 여호와께서 예후에게 말씀하여 이르시기를 네 자손이 이스라엘 위를 이어 사 대까지 이르리라 하신 그 말씀대로 과연 그렇게 되니라
  So the word of the LORD spoken to Jehu was fulfilled: "Your descendants will sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation."

13. 유다 왕 웃시야 삼십구년에 야베스의 아들 살룸이 사마리아에서 왕이 되어 한 달을 치리하니라
  Shallum son of Jabesh became king in the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah king of Judah, and he reigned in Samaria one month.

14. 가디의 아들 므나헴이 디르사에서부터 사마리아로 올라가서 야베스의 아들 살룸을 거기서 쳐죽이고 대신하여 왕이 되니라
  Then Menahem son of Gadi went from Tirzah up to Samaria. He attacked Shallum son of Jabesh in Samaria, assassinated him and succeeded him as king.

15. 살룸의 남은 사적과 그 모반한 일은 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되니라
  The other events of Shallum's reign, and the conspiracy he led, are written in the book of the annals of the kings of Israel.

16. 그 때에 므나헴이 디르사에서 와서 딥사와 그 가운데 있는 모든 사람과 그 사방을 쳤으니 이는 저희가 성문을 열지 아니하였음이라 그러므로 치고 그 가운데 아이 밴 부녀를 갈랐더라
  At that time Menahem, starting out from Tirzah, attacked Tiphsah and everyone in the city and its vicinity, because they refused to open their gates. He sacked Tiphsah and ripped open all the pregnant women.

17. 유다 왕 아사랴 삼십구년에 가디의 아들 므나헴이 이스라엘 왕이 되어 사마리아에서 십 년을 치리하며
  In the thirty-ninth year of Azariah king of Judah, Menahem son of Gadi became king of Israel, and he reigned in Samaria ten years.

18. 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하여 이스라엘로 범죄케 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 죄에서 평생 떠나지 아니하였더라
  He did evil in the eyes of the LORD. During his entire reign he did not turn away from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he had caused Israel to commit.

19. 앗수르 왕 불이 와서 그 땅을 치려 하매 므나헴이 은 일천 달란트를 불에게 주어서 저로 자기를 도와 주게 함으로 나라를 자기 손에 굳게 세우고자 하여
  Then Pul king of Assyria invaded the land, and Menahem gave him a thousand talents of silver to gain his support and strengthen his own hold on the kingdom.

20. 그 은을 이스라엘 모든 큰 부자에게서 토색하여 각 사람에게 은 오십 세겔씩 내게 하여 앗수르 왕에게 주었더니 이에 앗수르 왕이 돌이키고 그 땅에 머물지 아니하였더라
  Menahem exacted this money from Israel. Every wealthy man had to contribute fifty shekels of silver to be given to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria withdrew and stayed in the land no longer.

21. 므나헴의 남은 사적과 그 모든 행한 일은 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
  As for the other events of Menahem's reign, and all he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Israel?

22. 므나헴이 그 열조와 함께 자고 그 아들 브가히야가 대신하여 왕이 되니라
  Menahem rested with his fathers. And Pekahiah his son succeeded him as king.

23. 유다 왕 아사랴 오십년에 므나헴의 아들 브가히야가 사마리아에서 이스라엘 왕이 되어 이 년을 치리하며
  In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekahiah son of Menahem became king of Israel in Samaria, and he reigned two years.

24. 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하여 이스라엘로 범죄케 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 죄에서 떠나지 아니한지라
  Pekahiah did evil in the eyes of the LORD. He did not turn away from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he had caused Israel to commit.

25. 그 장관 르말랴의 아들 베가가 반역하여 사마리아 왕궁 호위소에서 왕과 아르곱과 아리에를 죽이되 길르앗 사람 오십 명으로 더불어 죽이고 대신하여 왕이 되었더라
  One of his chief officers, Pekah son of Remaliah, conspired against him. Taking fifty men of Gilead with him, he assassinated Pekahiah, along with Argob and Arieh, in the citadel of the royal palace at Samaria. So Pekah killed Pekahiah and succeeded him as king.

26. 브가히야의 남은 사적과 그 모든 행한 일은 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되니라
  The other events of Pekahiah's reign, and all he did, are written in the book of the annals of the kings of Israel.

27. 유다 왕 아사랴 오십이년에 르말랴의 아들 베가가 이스라엘 왕이 되어 사마리아에서 이십 년을 치리하며
  In the fifty-second year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekah son of Remaliah became king of Israel in Samaria, and he reigned twenty years.

28. 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하여 이스라엘로 범죄케 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 죄에서 떠나지 아니하였더라
  He did evil in the eyes of the LORD. He did not turn away from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he had caused Israel to commit.

 

29. 이스라엘 왕 베가 때에 앗수르 왕 디글랏 빌레셀이 와서 이욘과 아벨벳마아가와 야노아와 게데스와 하솔과 길르앗과 갈릴리와 납달리 온 땅을 취하고 그 백성을 사로잡아 앗수르로 옮겼더라
  In the time of Pekah king of Israel, Tiglath-Pileser king of Assyria came and took Ijon, Abel Beth Maacah, Janoah, Kedesh and Hazor. He took Gilead and Galilee, including all the land of Naphtali, and deported the people to Assyria.

30. 웃시야의 아들 요담 이십년에 엘라의 아들 호세아가 반역하여 르말랴의 아들 베가를 쳐서 죽이고 대신하여 왕이 되니라
  Then Hoshea son of Elah conspired against Pekah son of Remaliah. He attacked and assassinated him, and then succeeded him as king in the twentieth year of Jotham son of Uzziah.

31. 베가의 남은 사적과 그 모든 행한 일은 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되니라
  As for the other events of Pekah's reign, and all he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Israel?

32. 이스라엘 왕 르말랴의 아들 베가 이년에 유다 왕 웃시야의 아들 요담이 왕이 되니
  In the second year of Pekah son of Remaliah king of Israel, Jotham son of Uzziah king of Judah began to reign.

33. 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 이십 오세라 예루살렘에서 십 륙년을 치리하니라 그 모친의 이름은 여루사라 사독의 딸이더라
  He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem sixteen years. His mother's name was Jerusha daughter of Zadok.

34. 요담이 그 부친 웃시야의 모든 행위대로 여호와 보시기에 정직히 행하였으나
  He did what was right in the eyes of the LORD, just as his father Uzziah had done.

35. 오직 산당을 제하지 아니하였으므로 백성이 오히려 그 산당에서 제사를 드리며 분향하였더라 요담이 여호와의 전의 윗문을 건축하니라
  The high places, however, were not removed; the people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense there. Jotham rebuilt the Upper Gate of the temple of the LORD.

36. 요담의 남은 사적과 그 모든 행한 일은 유다 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
  As for the other events of Jotham's reign, and what he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Judah?

37. 그 때에 여호와께서 비로소 아람 왕 르신과 르말랴의 아들 베가를 보내어 유다를 치게 하셨더라
  (In those days the LORD began to send Rezin king of Aram and Pekah son of Remaliah against Judah.)

38. 요담이 그 열조와 함께 자매 그 조상 다윗 성에 열조와 함께 장사되고 그 아들 아하스가 대신하여 왕이 되니라
  Jotham rested with his fathers and was buried with them in the City of David, the city of his father. And Ahaz his son succeeded him as king.

디도서 1

1. 하나님의 종이요 예수 그리스도의 사도인 바울 곧 나의 사도 된 것은 하나님의 택하신 자들의 믿음과 경건함에 속한 진리의 지식과
  Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ for the faith of God's elect and the knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness--

2. 영생의 소망을 인함이라 이 영생은 거짓이 없으신 하나님이 영원한 때 전부터 약속하신 것인데
  a faith and knowledge resting on the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time,

3. 자기 때에 자기의 말씀을 전도로 나타내셨으니 이 전도는 우리 구주 하나님의 명대로 내게 맡기신 것이라
  and at his appointed season he brought his word to light through the preaching entrusted to me by the command of God our Savior,

4. 같은 믿음을 따라 된 나의 참 아들 디도에게 편지하노니 하나님 아버지와 그리스도 예수 우리 구주로 좇아 은혜와 평강이 네게 있을찌어다
  To Titus, my true son in our common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.

5. 내가 너를 그레데에 떨어뜨려 둔 이유는 부족한 일을 바로잡고 나의 명한 대로 각 성에 장로들을 세우게 하려 함이니
  The reason I left you in Crete was that you might straighten out what was left unfinished and appoint elders in every town, as I directed you.

6. 책망할 것이 없고 한 아내의 남편이며 방탕하다 하는 비방이나 불순종하는 일이 없는 믿는 자녀를 둔 자라야 할찌라
  An elder must be blameless, the husband of but one wife, a man whose children believe and are not open to the charge of being wild and disobedient.

7. 감독은 하나님의 청지기로서 책망할 것이 없고 제 고집대로 하지 아니하며 급히 분내지 아니하며 술을 즐기지 아니하며 구타하지 아니하며 더러운 이를 탐하지 아니하며
  Since an overseer is entrusted with God's work, he must be blameless--not overbearing, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain.

8. 오직 나그네를 대접하며 선을 좋아하며 근신하며 의로우며 거룩하며 절제하며
  Rather he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined.

9. 미쁜 말씀의 가르침을 그대로 지켜야 하리니 이는 능히 바른 교훈으로 권면하고 거스려 말하는 자들을 책망하게 하려 함이라
  He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.

10. 복종치 아니하고 헛된 말을 하며 속이는 자가 많은 중 특별히 할례당 가운데 심하니
  For there are many rebellious people, mere talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision group.

11. 저희의 입을 막을 것이라 이런 자들이 더러운 이를 취하려고 마땅치 아니한 것을 가르쳐 집들을 온통 엎드러치는도다
  They must be silenced, because they are ruining whole households by teaching things they ought not to teach--and that for the sake of dishonest gain.

12. 그레데인 중에 어떤 선지자가 말하되 그레데인들은 항상 거짓말장이며 악한 짐승이며 배만 위하는 게으름장이라 하니
  Even one of their own prophets has said, "Cretans are always liars, evil brutes, lazy gluttons."

13. 이 증거가 참되도다 그러므로 네가 저희를 엄히 꾸짖으라 이는 저희로 하여금 믿음을 온전케 하고
  This testimony is true. Therefore, rebuke them sharply, so that they will be sound in the faith

14. 유대인의 허탄한 이야기와 진리를 배반하는 사람들의 명령을 좇지 않게 하려 함이라
  and will pay no attention to Jewish myths or to the commands of those who reject the truth.

15. 깨끗한 자들에게는 모든 것이 깨끗하나 더럽고 믿지 아니하는 자들에게는 아무것도 깨끗한 것이 없고 오직 저희 마음과 양심이 더러운지라
  To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.

16. 저희가 하나님을 시인하나 행위로는 부인하니 가증한 자요 복종치 아니하는 자요 모든 선한 일을 버리는 자니라
  They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.

호세아 8

1. 나팔을 네 입에 댈찌어다 대적이 독수리처럼 여호와의 집에 덮치리니 이는 무리가 내 언약을 어기며 내 율법을 범함이로다
  "Put the trumpet to your lips! An eagle is over the house of the LORD because the people have broken my covenant and rebelled against my law.

2. 저희가 장차 내게 부르짖기를 나의 하나님이여 우리 이스라엘이 주를 아나이다 하리라
  Israel cries out to me, 'O our God, we acknowledge you!'

3. 이스라엘이 이미 선을 싫어 버렸으니 대적이 저를 따를 것이라
  But Israel has rejected what is good; an enemy will pursue him.

4. 저희가 왕들을 세웠으나 내게서 말미암지 아니하였고 저희가 방백들을 세웠으나 나의 모르는 바며 저희가 또 그 은, 금으로 자기를 위하여 우상을 만들었나니 파멸을 이루리라
  They set up kings without my consent; they choose princes without my approval. With their silver and gold they make idols for themselves to their own destruction.

5. 사마리아여 네 송아지는 버리웠느니라 내 노가 무리를 향하여 타오르나니 저희가 어느 때에야 능히 무죄하겠느냐
  Throw out your calf-idol, O Samaria! My anger burns against them. How long will they be incapable of purity?

6. 이것은 이스라엘에서 나고 공장이 만든 것이라 참 신이 아니니 사마리아의 송아지가 부숴뜨리우리라
  They are from Israel! This calf--a craftsman has made it; it is not God. It will be broken in pieces, that calf of Samaria.

7. 저희가 바람을 심고 광풍을 거둘 것이라 심은 것이 줄기가 없으며 이삭은 열매를 맺히지 못할 것이요 설혹 맺힐찌라도 이방 사람이 삼키리라
  "They sow the wind and reap the whirlwind. The stalk has no head; it will produce no flour. Were it to yield grain, foreigners would swallow it up.

8. 이스라엘은 이미 삼키웠은즉 이제 열국 가운데 있는 것이 기뻐하지 아니하는 그릇 같도다
  Israel is swallowed up; now she is among the nations like a worthless thing.

9. 저희가 홀로 처한 들나귀처럼 앗수르로 갔고 에브라임이 값 주고 연애하는 자들을 얻었도다
  For they have gone up to Assyria like a wild donkey wandering alone. Ephraim has sold herself to lovers.

10. 저희가 열방 사람에게 값을 주었을찌라도 이제 내가 저희를 모으리니 저희가 모든 방백의 임금의 지워준 짐을 인하여 쇠하기 시작하리라
  Although they have sold themselves among the nations, I will now gather them together. They will begin to waste away under the oppression of the mighty king.

11. 에브라임이 죄를 위하여 제단을 많이 만들더니 그 제단이 저로 범죄케 하는 것이 되었도다
  "Though Ephraim built many altars for sin offerings, these have become altars for sinning.

12. 내가 저를 위하여 내 율법을 만가지로 기록하였으나 저희가 관계 없는 것으로 여기도다
  I wrote for them the many things of my law, but they regarded them as something alien.

13. 내게 드리는 제물로 말할찌라도 저희가 고기로 제사를 드리고 먹거니와 여호와는 그것을 기뻐하지 아니하고 이제 저희의 죄악을 기억하여 그 죄를 벌하리니 저희가 애굽으로 다시 가리라
  They offer sacrifices given to me and they eat the meat, but the LORD is not pleased with them. Now he will remember their wickedness and punish their sins: They will return to Egypt.

14. 이스라엘은 자기를 지은 자를 잊어버리고 전각들을 세웠으며 유다는 견고한 성읍을 많이 쌓았으나 내가 그 고을들에 불을 보내어 그 성들을 삼키게 하리라
  Israel has forgotten his Maker and built palaces; Judah has fortified many towns. But I will send fire upon their cities that will consume their fortresses."

시편 123-125

1. 하늘에 계신 주여 내가 눈을 들어 주께 향하나이다
  A song of ascents. I lift up my eyes to you, to you whose throne is in heaven.

2. 종의 눈이 그 상전의 손을, 여종의 눈이 그 주모의 손을 바람같이 우리 눈이 여호와 우리 하나님을 바라며 우리를 긍휼히 여기시기를 기다리나이다
  As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maid look to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the LORD our God, till he shows us his mercy.

3. 여호와여 우리를 긍휼히 여기시고 긍휼히 여기소서 심한 멸시가 우리에게 넘치나이다
  Have mercy on us, O LORD, have mercy on us, for we have endured much contempt.

4. 평안한 자의 조소와 교만한 자의 멸시가 우리 심령에 넘치나이다
  We have endured much ridicule from the proud, much contempt from the arrogant.

1. 이스라엘은 이제 말하기를 여호와께서 우리 편에 계시지 아니하시고
  A song of ascents. Of David. If the LORD had not been on our side--let Israel say--

2. 사람들이 우리를 치러 일어날 때에 여호와께서 우리 편에 계시지 아니하셨더면
  if the LORD had not been on our side when men attacked us,

3. 그 때에 저희의 노가 우리를 대하여 맹렬하여 우리를 산 채로 삼켰을 것이며
  when their anger flared against us, they would have swallowed us alive;

4. 그 때에 물이 우리를 엄몰하며 시내가 우리 영혼을 잠갔을 것이며
  the flood would have engulfed us, the torrent would have swept over us,

5. 그 때에 넘치는 물이 우리 영혼을 잠갔을 것이라 할 것이로다
  the raging waters would have swept us away.

6. 우리를 저희 이에 주어 씹히지 않게 하신 여호와를 찬송할찌로다
  Praise be to the LORD, who has not let us be torn by their teeth.

7. 우리 혼이 새가 사냥군의 올무에서 벗어남 같이 되었나니 올무가 끊어지므로 우리가 벗어났도다
  We have escaped like a bird out of the fowler's snare; the snare has been broken, and we have escaped.

8. 우리의 도움은 천지를 지으신 여호와의 이름에 있도다
  Our help is in the name of the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.

1. 여호와를 의뢰하는 자는 시온 산이 요동치 아니하고 영원히 있음 같도다
  A song of ascents. Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.

2. 산들이 예루살렘을 두름과 같이 여호와께서 그 백성을 지금부터 영원까지 두르시리로다
  As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people both now and forevermore.

3. 악인의 권세가 의인의 업에 미치지 못하리니 이는 의인으로 죄악에 손을 대지 않게 함이로다
  The scepter of the wicked will not remain over the land allotted to the righteous, for then the righteous might use their hands to do evil.

4. 여호와여 선인에게와 마음이 정직한 자에게 선을 행하소서
  Do good, O LORD, to those who are good, to those who are upright in heart.

5. 자기의 굽은 길로 치우치는 자를 여호와께서 죄악을 짓는 자와 함께 다니게 하시리로다 이스라엘에게는 평강이 있을찌어다
  But those who turn to crooked ways the LORD will banish with the evildoers. Peace be upon Israel.
