열왕기하 13

1. 유다 왕 아하시야의 아들 요아스의 이십삼년에 예후의 아들 여호아하스가 사마리아에서 이스라엘 왕이 되어 십칠 년을 치리하며
  In the twenty-third year of Joash son of Ahaziah king of Judah, Jehoahaz son of Jehu became king of Israel in Samaria, and he reigned seventeen years.

2. 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하여 이스라엘로 범죄케 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 죄를 좇고 떠나지 아니하였으므로
  He did evil in the eyes of the LORD by following the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he had caused Israel to commit, and he did not turn away from them.

3. 여호와께서 이스라엘을 향하여 노를 발하사 늘 아람 왕 하사엘의 손과 그 아들 벤하닷의 손에 붙이셨더니
  So the LORD'S anger burned against Israel, and for a long time he kept them under the power of Hazael king of Aram and Ben-Hadad his son.

4. 아람 왕이 이스라엘을 학대하므로 여호아하스가 여호와께 간구하매 여호와께서 들으셨으니 이는 저희의 학대받음을 보셨음이라
  Then Jehoahaz sought the LORD'S favor, and the LORD listened to him, for he saw how severely the king of Aram was oppressing Israel.

5. 여호와께서 이에 구원자를 이스라엘에게 주시매 이스라엘 자손이 아람 사람의 손에서 벗어나 전과 같이 자기 장막에 거하였으나
  The LORD provided a deliverer for Israel, and they escaped from the power of Aram. So the Israelites lived in their own homes as they had before.

6. 저희가 이스라엘로 범죄케 한 여로보암 집의 죄에서 떠나지 아니하고 좇아 행하며 또 사마리아에 아세라 목상을 그저 두었더라
  But they did not turn away from the sins of the house of Jeroboam, which he had caused Israel to commit; they continued in them. Also, the Asherah pole remained standing in Samaria.

7. 아람 왕이 여호아하스의 백성을 진멸하여 타작 마당의 티끌같이 되게 하고 마병 오십과 병거 십 승과 보병 일만 외에는 여호아하스에게 남겨 두지 아니하였더라
  Nothing had been left of the army of Jehoahaz except fifty horsemen, ten chariots and ten thousand foot soldiers, for the king of Aram had destroyed the rest and made them like the dust at threshing time.

8. 여호아하스의 남은 사적과 모든 행한 것과 그 권력은 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
  As for the other events of the reign of Jehoahaz, all he did and his achievements, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Israel?

9. 여호아하스가 그 열조와 함께 자매 사마리아에 장사되고 그 아들 요아스가 대신하여 왕이 되니라
  Jehoahaz rested with his fathers and was buried in Samaria. And Jehoash his son succeeded him as king.

10. 유다 왕 요아스의 삼십 칠년에 여호아하스의 아들 요아스가 사마리아에서 이스라엘 왕이 되어 십 륙년을 치리하며
  In the thirty-seventh year of Joash king of Judah, Jehoash son of Jehoahaz became king of Israel in Samaria, and he reigned sixteen years.

11. 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하여 이스라엘로 범죄케 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 모든 죄에서 떠나지 아니하고 좇아 행하였더라
  He did evil in the eyes of the LORD and did not turn away from any of the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he had caused Israel to commit; he continued in them.

12. 요아스의 남은 사적과 무릇 행한 일과 유다 왕 아마샤와 싸운 권력은 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
  As for the other events of the reign of Jehoash, all he did and his achievements, including his war against Amaziah king of Judah, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Israel?

13. 요아스가 그 열조와 함께 자매 이스라엘 왕들과 함께 사마리아에 장사되고 여로보암이 그 위에 앉으니라
  Jehoash rested with his fathers, and Jeroboam succeeded him on the throne. Jehoash was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel.

14. 엘리사가 죽을 병이 들매 이스라엘 왕 요아스가 저에게로 내려가서 그 얼굴에 눈물을 흘리며 가로되 내 아버지여 내 아버지여 이스라엘의 병거와 마병이여 하매
  Now Elisha was suffering from the illness from which he died. Jehoash king of Israel went down to see him and wept over him. "My father! My father!" he cried. "The chariots and horsemen of Israel!"

15. 엘리사가 저에게 이르되 활과 살들을 취하소서 활과 살들을 취하매
  Elisha said, "Get a bow and some arrows," and he did so.

16. 또 이스라엘 왕에게 이르되 왕의 손으로 활을 잡으소서 곧 손으로 잡으매 엘리사가 자기 손으로 왕의 손을 안찰하고
  "Take the bow in your hands," he said to the king of Israel. When he had taken it, Elisha put his hands on the king's hands.

17. 가로되 동편 창을 여소서 곧 열매 엘리사가 가로되 쏘소서 곧 쏘매 엘리사가 가로되 이는 여호와의 구원의 살 곧 아람에 대한 구원의 살이니 왕이 아람 사람을 진멸하도록 아벡에서 치리이다
  "Open the east window," he said, and he opened it. "Shoot!" Elisha said, and he shot. "The LORD'S arrow of victory, the arrow of victory over Aram!" Elisha declared. "You will completely destroy the Arameans at Aphek."

18. 또 가로되 살들을 취하소서 곧 취하매 엘리사가 또 이스라엘 왕에게 이르되 땅을 치소서 이에 세 번 치고 그친지라
  Then he said, "Take the arrows," and the king took them. Elisha told him, "Strike the ground." He struck it three times and stopped.

19. 하나님의 사람이 노하여 가로되 왕이 오륙 번을 칠 것이니이다 그리하였더면 왕이 아람을 진멸하도록 쳤으리이다 그런즉 이제는 왕이 아람을 세 번만 치리이다 하니라
  The man of God was angry with him and said, "You should have struck the ground five or six times; then you would have defeated Aram and completely destroyed it. But now you will defeat it only three times."

20. 엘리사가 죽으매 장사하였더니 해가 바뀌매 모압 적당이 지경을 범한지라
  Elisha died and was buried. Now Moabite raiders used to enter the country every spring.

21. 마침 사람을 장사하는 자들이 그 적당을 보고 그 시체를 엘리사의 묘실에 들이던지매 시체가 엘리사의 뼈에 닿자 곧 회생하여 일어섰더라
  Once while some Israelites were burying a man, suddenly they saw a band of raiders; so they threw the man's body into Elisha's tomb. When the body touched Elisha's bones, the man came to life and stood up on his feet.

22. 여호아하스 왕의 시대에 아람 왕 하사엘이 항상 이스라엘을 학대하였으나
  Hazael king of Aram oppressed Israel throughout the reign of Jehoahaz.

23. 여호와께서 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱으로 더불어 세우신 언약을 인하여 이스라엘에게 은혜를 베풀어 긍휼히 여기시며 권고하사 멸하기를 즐겨 아니하시고 이 때까지 자기 앞에서 쫓아내지 아니하셨더라
  But the LORD was gracious to them and had compassion and showed concern for them because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. To this day he has been unwilling to destroy them or banish them from his presence.

24. 아람 왕 하사엘이 죽고 그 아들 벤하닷이 대신하여 왕이 되매
  Hazael king of Aram died, and Ben-Hadad his son succeeded him as king.

25. 여호아하스의 아들 요아스가 하사엘의 아들 벤하닷의 손에서 두어 성읍을 회복하였으니 이 성읍들은 자기 부친 여호아하스가 전쟁 중에 빼앗겼던 것이라 요아스가 벤하닷을 세 번 쳐서 파하고 이스라엘 성읍들을 회복하였더라
  Then Jehoash son of Jehoahaz recaptured from Ben-Hadad son of Hazael the towns he had taken in battle from his father Jehoahaz. Three times Jehoash defeated him, and so he recovered the Israelite towns.

디모데후서 3

1. 네가 이것을 알라 말세에 고통하는 때가 이르리니
  But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.

2. 사람들은 자기를 사랑하며 돈을 사랑하며 자긍하며 교만하며 훼방하며 부모를 거역하며 감사치 아니하며 거룩하지 아니하며
  People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,

3. 무정하며 원통함을 풀지 아니하며 참소하며 절제하지 못하며 사나우며 선한 것을 좋아 아니하며
  without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good,

4. 배반하여 팔며 조급하며 자고하며 쾌락을 사랑하기를 하나님 사랑하는 것보다 더하며
  treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God--

5. 경건의 모양은 있으나 경건의 능력은 부인하는 자니 이같은 자들에게서 네가 돌아서라
  having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.

6. 저희 중에 남의 집에 가만히 들어가 어리석은 여자를 유인하는 자들이 있으니 그 여자는 죄를 중히 지고 여러 가지 욕심에 끌린 바 되어
  They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires,

7. 항상 배우나 마침내 진리의 지식에 이를 수 없느니라
  always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth.

8. 얀네와 얌브레가 모세를 대적한 것같이 저희도 진리를 대적하니 이 사람들은 그 마음이 부패한 자요 믿음에 관하여는 버리운 자들이라
  Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth--men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected.

9. 그러나 저희가 더 나가지 못할 것은 저 두 사람의 된 것과 같이 저희 어리석음이 드러날 것임이니라
  But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.

10. 나의 교훈과 행실과 의향과 믿음과 오래 참음과 사랑과 인내와
  You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance,

11. 핍박과 고난과 또한 안디옥과 이고니온과 루스드라에서 당한 일과 어떠한 핍박받은 것을 네가 과연 보고 알았거니와 주께서 이 모든 것 가운데서 나를 건지셨느니라
  persecutions, sufferings--what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them.

12. 무릇 그리스도 예수 안에서 경건하게 살고자 하는 자는 핍박을 받으리라
  In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted,

13. 악한 사람들과 속이는 자들은 더욱 악하여져서 속이기도 하고 속기도 하나니
  while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

14. 그러나 너는 배우고 확신한 일에 거하라 네가 뉘게서 배운 것을 알며
  But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it,

15. 또 네가 어려서부터 성경을 알았나니 성경은 능히 너로 하여금 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 믿음으로 말미암아 구원에 이르는 지혜가 있게 하느니라
  and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

16. 모든 성경은 하나님의 감동으로 된 것으로 교훈과 책망과 바르게 함과 의로 교육하기에 유익하니
  All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

17. 이는 하나님의 사람으로 온전케 하며 모든 선한 일을 행하기에 온전케 하려 함이니라
  so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

호세아 5-6

1. 제사장들아 이를 들으라 이스라엘 족속들아 깨달으라 왕족들아 귀를 기울이라 너희에게 심판이 있나니 너희가 미스바에서 올무가 되며 다볼 위에서 친 그물이 됨이라
  "Hear this, you priests! Pay attention, you Israelites! Listen, O royal house! This judgment is against you: You have been a snare at Mizpah, a net spread out on Tabor.

2. 패역자가 살륙죄에 깊이 빠졌으매 내가 저희를 다 징책하노라
  The rebels are deep in slaughter. I will discipline all of them.

3. 에브라임은 내가 알고 이스라엘은 내게 숨기지 못하나니 에브라임아 이제 네가 행음하였고 이스라엘이 이미 더러웠느니라
  I know all about Ephraim; Israel is not hidden from me. Ephraim, you have now turned to prostitution; Israel is corrupt.

4. 저희의 행위가 저희로 자기 하나님에게 돌아가지 못하게 하나니 이는 음란한 마음이 그 속에 있어 여호와를 알지 못하는 까닭이라
  "Their deeds do not permit them to return to their God. A spirit of prostitution is in their heart; they do not acknowledge the LORD.

5. 이스라엘의 교만이 그 얼굴에 증거가 되나니 그 죄악을 인하여 이스라엘과 에브라임이 넘어지고 유다도 저희와 한가지로 넘어지리라
  Israel's arrogance testifies against them; the Israelites, even Ephraim, stumble in their sin; Judah also stumbles with them.

6. 저희가 양떼와 소떼를 끌고 여호와를 찾으러 갈찌라도 만나지 못 할 것은 이미 저희에게서 떠나셨음이라
  When they go with their flocks and herds to seek the LORD, they will not find him; he has withdrawn himself from them.

7. 저희가 여호와께 정조를 지키지 아니하고 사생자를 낳았으니 그러므로 새 달이 저희와 그 기업을 함께 삼키리로다
  They are unfaithful to the LORD; they give birth to illegitimate children. Now their New Moon festivals will devour them and their fields.

8. 너희가 기브아에서 나팔을 불며 라마에서 호각을 불며 벧아웬에서 깨우쳐 소리하기를 베냐민아 네 뒤를 쫓는다 할찌어다
  "Sound the trumpet in Gibeah, the horn in Ramah. Raise the battle cry in Beth Aven; lead on, O Benjamin.

9. 견책하는 날에 에브라임이 황무할 것이라 내가 이스라엘 지파 중에 필연 있을 일을 보였노라
  Ephraim will be laid waste on the day of reckoning. Among the tribes of Israel I proclaim what is certain.

10. 유다 방백들은 지계표를 옮기는 자 같으니 내가 나의 진노를 저희에게 물같이 부으리라
  Judah's leaders are like those who move boundary stones. I will pour out my wrath on them like a flood of water.

11. 에브라임은 사람의 명령 좇기를 좋아하므로 학대를 받고 재판의 압제를 당하는도다
  Ephraim is oppressed, trampled in judgment, intent on pursuing idols.

12. 그러므로 내가 에브라임에게는 좀 같으며 유다 족속에게는 썩이는 것 같도다
  I am like a moth to Ephraim, like rot to the people of Judah.

13. 에브라임이 자기의 병을 깨달으며 유다가 자기의 상처를 깨달았고 에브라임은 앗수르로 가서 야렙 왕에게 사람을 보내었으나 저가 능히 너희를 고치지 못하겠고 너희 상처를 낫게 하지 못하리라
  "When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah his sores, then Ephraim turned to Assyria, and sent to the great king for help. But he is not able to cure you, not able to heal your sores.

14. 내가 에브라임에게는 사자 같고 유다 족속에게는 젊은 사자 같으니 나 곧 내가 움켜갈찌라 내가 탈취하여 갈찌라도 건져낼 자가 없으리라
  For I will be like a lion to Ephraim, like a great lion to Judah. I will tear them to pieces and go away; I will carry them off, with no one to rescue them.

15. 내가 내 곳으로 돌아가서 저희가 그 죄를 뉘우치고 내 얼굴을 구하기까지 기다리리라 저희가 고난을 받을 때에 나를 간절히 구하여 이르기를
  Then I will go back to my place until they admit their guilt. And they will seek my face; in their misery they will earnestly seek me."

1. 오라 우리가 여호와께로 돌아가자 여호와께서 우리를 찢으셨으나 도로 낫게 하실 것이요 우리를 치셨으나 싸매어 주실 것임이라
  "Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds.

2. 여호와께서 이틀 후에 우리를 살리시며 제 삼 일에 우리를 일으키시리니 우리가 그 앞에서 살리라
  After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence.

3. 그러므로 우리가 여호와를 알자 힘써 여호와를 알자 그의 나오심은 새벽 빛같이 일정하니 비와 같이, 땅을 적시는 늦은 비와 같이 우리에게 임하시리라 하리라
  Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth."

4. 에브라임아 내가 네게 어떻게 하랴 유다야 내가 네게 어떻게 하랴 너희의 인애가 아침 구름이나 쉬 없어지는 이슬 같도다
  "What can I do with you, Ephraim? What can I do with you, Judah? Your love is like the morning mist, like the early dew that disappears.

5. 그러므로 내가 선지자들로 저희를 치고 내 입의 말로 저희를 죽였노니 내 심판은 발하는 빛과 같으니라
  Therefore I cut you in pieces with my prophets, I killed you with the words of my mouth; my judgments flashed like lightning upon you.

6. 나는 인애를 원하고 제사를 원치 아니하며 번제보다 하나님을 아는 것을 원하노라
  For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings.

7. 저희는 아담처럼 언약을 어기고 거기서 내게 패역을 행하였느니라
  Like Adam, they have broken the covenant--they were unfaithful to me there.

8. 길르앗은 행악자의 고을이라 피 발자취가 편만하도다
  Gilead is a city of wicked men, stained with footprints of blood.

9. 강도 떼가 사람을 기다림같이 제사장의 무리가 세겜 길에서 살인하니 저희가 사악을 행하였느니라
  As marauders lie in ambush for a man, so do bands of priests; they murder on the road to Shechem, committing shameful crimes.

10. 내가 이스라엘 집에서 가증한 일을 보았나니 거기서 에브라임은 행음하였고 이스라엘은 더럽혔느니라
  I have seen a horrible thing in the house of Israel. There Ephraim is given to prostitution and Israel is defiled.

11. 유다여 내가 내 백성의 사로잡힘을 돌이킬 때에 네게도 추수할 일을 정하였느니라
  "Also for you, Judah, a harvest is appointed.

시편 119:145-176

145. 여호와여 내가 전심으로 부르짖었사오니 내게 응답하소서 내가 주의 율례를 지키리이다
  I call with all my heart; answer me, O LORD, and I will obey your decrees.

146. 내가 주께 부르짖었사오니 나를 구원하소서 내가 주의 증거를 지키리이다
  I call out to you; save me and I will keep your statutes.

147. 내가 새벽 전에 부르짖으며 주의 말씀을 바랐사오며
  I rise before dawn and cry for help; I have put my hope in your word.

148. 주의 말씀을 묵상하려고 내 눈이 야경이 깊기 전에 깨었나이다
  My eyes stay open through the watches of the night, that I may meditate on your promises.

149. 주의 인자하심을 따라 내 소리를 들으소서 여호와여 주의 규례를 따라 나를 살리소서
  Hear my voice in accordance with your love; preserve my life, O LORD, according to your laws.

150. 악을 좇는 자가 가까이 왔사오니 저희는 주의 법에서 머니이다
  Those who devise wicked schemes are near, but they are far from your law.

151. 여호와여 주께서 가까이 계시오니 주의 모든 계명은 진리니이다
  Yet you are near, O LORD, and all your commands are true.

152. 내가 전부터 주의 증거를 궁구하므로 주께서 영원히 세우신 것인 줄을 알았나이다
  Long ago I learned from your statutes that you established them to last forever.

153. 나의 고난을 보시고 나를 건지소서 내가 주의 법을 잊지 아니함이니이다
  Look upon my suffering and deliver me, for I have not forgotten your law.

154. 주는 나의 원한을 펴시고 나를 구속하사 주의 말씀대로 나를 소성케 하소서
  Defend my cause and redeem me; preserve my life according to your promise.

155. 구원이 악인에게서 멀어짐은 저희가 주의 율례를 구하지 아니함이니이다
  Salvation is far from the wicked, for they do not seek out your decrees.

156. 여호와여 주의 긍휼이 크오니 주의 규례를 따라 나를 소성케 하소서
  Your compassion is great, O LORD; preserve my life according to your laws.

157. 나를 핍박하는 자와 나의 대적이 많으나 나는 주의 증거에서 떠나지 아니하였나이다
  Many are the foes who persecute me, but I have not turned from your statutes.

158. 주의 말씀을 지키지 아니하는 궤사한 자를 내가 보고 슬퍼하였나이다
  I look on the faithless with loathing, for they do not obey your word.

159. 내가 주의 법도 사랑함을 보옵소서 여호와여 주의 인자하신 대로 나를 소성케 하소서
  See how I love your precepts; preserve my life, O LORD, according to your love.

160. 주의 말씀의 강령은 진리오니 주의 의로운 모든 규례가 영원하리이다
  All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal.

161. 방백들이 무고히 나를 핍박하오나 나의 마음은 주의 말씀만 경외하나이다
  Rulers persecute me without cause, but my heart trembles at your word.

162. 사람이 많은 탈취물을 얻은 것처럼 나는 주의 말씀을 즐거워하나이다
  I rejoice in your promise like one who finds great spoil.

163. 내가 거짓을 미워하며 싫어하고 주의 법을 사랑하나이다
  I hate and abhor falsehood but I love your law.

164. 주의 의로운 규례를 인하여 내가 하루 일곱 번씩 주를 찬양하나이다
  Seven times a day I praise you for your righteous laws.

165. 주의 법을 사랑하는 자에게는 큰 평안이 있으니 저희에게 장애물이 없으리이다
  Great peace have they who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.

166. 여호와여 내가 주의 구원을 바라며 주의 계명을 행하였나이다
  I wait for your salvation, O LORD, and I follow your commands.

167. 내 심령이 주의 증거를 지켰사오며 내가 이를 지극히 사랑하나이다
  I obey your statutes, for I love them greatly.

168. 내가 주의 법도와 증거를 지켰사오니 나의 모든 행위가 주의 앞에 있음이니이다
  I obey your precepts and your statutes, for all my ways are known to you.

169. 여호와여 나의 부르짖음이 주의 앞에 이르게 하시고 주의 말씀대로 나를 깨닫게 하소서
  May my cry come before you, O LORD; give me understanding according to your word.

170. 나의 간구가 주의 앞에 달하게 하시고 주의 말씀대로 나를 건지소서
  May my supplication come before you; deliver me according to your promise.

171. 주께서 율례를 내게 가르치시므로 내 입술이 찬송을 발할찌니이다
  May my lips overflow with praise, for you teach me your decrees.

172. 주의 모든 계명이 의로우므로 내 혀가 주의 말씀을 노래할찌니이다
  May my tongue sing of your word, for all your commands are righteous.

173. 내가 주의 법도를 택하였사오니 주의 손이 항상 나의 도움이 되게 하소서
  May your hand be ready to help me, for I have chosen your precepts.

174. 여호와여 내가 주의 구원을 사모하였사오며 주의 법을 즐거워하나이다
  I long for your salvation, O LORD, and your law is my delight.

175. 내 혼을 살게 하소서 그리하시면 주를 찬송하리이다 주의 규례가 나를 돕게 하소서
  Let me live that I may praise you, and may your laws sustain me.

176. 잃은 양같이 내가 유리하오니 주의 종을 찾으소서 내가 주의 계명을 잊지 아니함이니이다
  I have strayed like a lost sheep. Seek your servant, for I have not forgotten your commands.
