열왕기하 10

1. 아합의 아들 칠십 인이 사마리아에 있는지라 예후가 편지들을 써서 사마리아에 보내어 이스르엘 방백 곧 장로들과 아합의 여러 아들을 교육하는 자들에게 전하니 일렀으되
  Now there were in Samaria seventy sons of the house of Ahab. So Jehu wrote letters and sent them to Samaria: to the officials of Jezreel, to the elders and to the guardians of Ahab's children. He said,

2. 너희 주의 아들들이 너희와 함께 있고 또 병거와 말과 견고한 성과 병기가 너희에게 있으니 이 편지가 너희에게 이르거든
  "As soon as this letter reaches you, since your master's sons are with you and you have chariots and horses, a fortified city and weapons,

3. 너희 주의 아들들 중에서 가장 어질고 정직한 자를 택하여 그 아비의 위에 두고 너희 주의 집을 위하여 싸우라 하였더라
  choose the best and most worthy of your master's sons and set him on his father's throne. Then fight for your master's house."

4. 저희가 심히 두려워하여 가로되 두 왕이 저를 당치 못하였거든 우리가 어찌 당하리요 하고
  But they were terrified and said, "If two kings could not resist him, how can we?"

5. 궁내대신과 부윤과 장로들과 왕자를 교육하는 자들이 예후에게 말을 전하여 가로되 우리는 당신의 종이라 무릇 명하는 것을 우리가 행하고 아무 사람이든지 왕으로 세우지 아니하리니 당신의 소견에 좋은 대로 행하라 한지라
  So the palace administrator, the city governor, the elders and the guardians sent this message to Jehu: "We are your servants and we will do anything you say. We will not appoint anyone as king; you do whatever you think best."

6. 예후가 다시 저희에게 편지를 부치니 일렀으되 만일 너희가 내 편이 되어 내 말을 들으려거든 너희 주의 아들 된 사람들의 머리를 취하고 내일 이맘때에 이스르엘에 이르러 내게 나아오라 하였더라 왕자 칠십 인이 성중에서 그 교육하는 존귀한 자들과 함께 있는 중에
  Then Jehu wrote them a second letter, saying, "If you are on my side and will obey me, take the heads of your master's sons and come to me in Jezreel by this time tomorrow." Now the royal princes, seventy of them, were with the leading men of the city, who were rearing them.

7. 편지가 이르매 저희가 왕자 칠십 인을 잡아 몰수히 죽이고 그 머리를 광주리에 담아 이스르엘 예후에게로 보내니라
  When the letter arrived, these men took the princes and slaughtered all seventy of them. They put their heads in baskets and sent them to Jehu in Jezreel.

8. 사자가 와서 예후에게 고하여 가로되 무리가 왕자들의 머리를 가지고 왔나이다 가로되 두 무더기로 쌓아 내일 아침까지 문 어귀에 두라 하고
  When the messenger arrived, he told Jehu, "They have brought the heads of the princes." Then Jehu ordered, "Put them in two piles at the entrance of the city gate until morning."

9. 이튿날 아침에 저가 나가 서서 뭇 백성에게 이르되 너희는 의롭도다 나는 내 주를 배반하여 죽였거니와 이 여러 사람을 죽인 자는 누구냐
  The next morning Jehu went out. He stood before all the people and said, "You are innocent. It was I who conspired against my master and killed him, but who killed all these?

10. 그런즉 너희는 알라 곧 여호와께서 아합의 집에 대하여 하신 말씀은 하나도 땅에 떨어지지 아니하리라 여호와께서 그 종 엘리야로 하신 말씀을 이제 이루셨도다 하니라
  Know then, that not a word the LORD has spoken against the house of Ahab will fail. The LORD has done what he promised through his servant Elijah."

11. 예후가 무릇 아합의 집에 속한 이스르엘에 남아 있는 자를 다 죽이고 또 그 존귀한 자와 가까운 친구와 제사장들을 죽이되 저에게 속한 자를 하나도 남기지 아니하였더라
  So Jehu killed everyone in Jezreel who remained of the house of Ahab, as well as all his chief men, his close friends and his priests, leaving him no survivor.

12. 예후가 일어나서 사마리아로 가더니 노중에 목자가 양털 깎는 집에 이르러
  Jehu then set out and went toward Samaria. At Beth Eked of the Shepherds,

13. 유다 왕 아하시야의 형제들을 만나 묻되 너희는 누구냐 대답하되 우리는 아하시야의 형제라 이제 왕자들과 태후의 아들들에게 문안하러 내려가노라
  he met some relatives of Ahaziah king of Judah and asked, "Who are you?" They said, "We are relatives of Ahaziah, and we have come down to greet the families of the king and of the queen mother."

14. 가로되 사로잡으라 하매 곧 사로잡아 목자가 양털 깎는 집 웅덩이 곁에서 죽이니 사십이 인이 하나도 남지 아니하였더라
  "Take them alive!" he ordered. So they took them alive and slaughtered them by the well of Beth Eked--forty-two men. He left no survivor.

15. 예후가 거기서 떠나가다가 레갑의 아들 여호나답이 맞으러 오는 것을 만난지라 그 안부를 묻고 가로되 내 마음이 네 마음을 향하여 진실함과 같이 네 마음도 진실하냐 여호나답이 대답하되 그러하니이다 가로되 그러면 나와 손을 잡자 손을 잡으니 예후가 끌어 병거에 올리며
  After he left there, he came upon Jehonadab son of Recab, who was on his way to meet him. Jehu greeted him and said, "Are you in accord with me, as I am with you?" "I am," Jehonadab answered. "If so," said Jehu, "give me your hand." So he did, and Jehu helped him up into the chariot.

16. 가로되 나와 함께 가서 여호와를 위한 나의 열심을 보라 하고 이에 자기 병거에 태우고
  Jehu said, "Come with me and see my zeal for the LORD." Then he had him ride along in his chariot.

17. 사마리아에 이르러 거기 남아 있는 바 아합에게 속한 자를 죽여 진멸하였으니 여호와께서 엘리야에게 이르신 말씀과 같이 되었더라
  When Jehu came to Samaria, he killed all who were left there of Ahab's family; he destroyed them, according to the word of the LORD spoken to Elijah.

18. 예후가 뭇 백성을 모으고 이르되 아합은 바알을 조금 섬겼으나 예후는 많이 섬기리라
  Then Jehu brought all the people together and said to them, "Ahab served Baal a little; Jehu will serve him much.

19. 그러므로 내가 이제 큰 제사를 바알에게 드리고자 하노니 바알의 모든 선지자와 모든 섬기는 자와 모든 제사장들을 한 사람도 빠치지 말고 불러 내게로 나오게 하라 무릇 오지 아니하는 자는 살리지 아니하리라 하니 이는 예후가 바알 섬기는 자를 멸하려 하여 궤계를 씀이라
  Now summon all the prophets of Baal, all his ministers and all his priests. See that no one is missing, because I am going to hold a great sacrifice for Baal. Anyone who fails to come will no longer live." But Jehu was acting deceptively in order to destroy the ministers of Baal.

20. 예후가 바알을 위하는 대회를 거룩히 열라 하매 드디어 공포하였더라
  Jehu said, "Call an assembly in honor of Baal." So they proclaimed it.

21. 예후가 온 이스라엘에 두루 보내었더니 무릇 바알을 섬기는 사람이 하나도 빠진 자가 없이 다 이르렀고 무리가 바알의 당에 들어가매 이편부터 저편까지 가득하였더라
  Then he sent word throughout Israel, and all the ministers of Baal came; not one stayed away. They crowded into the temple of Baal until it was full from one end to the other.

22. 예후가 예복 맡은 자에게 이르되 예복을 내어다가 무릇 바알 섬기는 자에게 주라 하매 저희에게로 예복을 가져온지라
  And Jehu said to the keeper of the wardrobe, "Bring robes for all the ministers of Baal." So he brought out robes for them.

23. 예후가 레갑의 아들 여호나답으로 더불어 바알의 당에 들어가서 바알을 섬기는 자에게 이르되 너희는 살펴보아 바알을 섬기는 자만 여기 있게 하고 여호와의 종은 하나도 너희 중에 있지 못하게 하라 하고
  Then Jehu and Jehonadab son of Recab went into the temple of Baal. Jehu said to the ministers of Baal, "Look around and see that no servants of the LORD are here with you--only ministers of Baal."

24. 무리가 번제와 다른 제사를 드리려고 들어간 때에 예후가 팔십 인을 밖에 두며 이르되 내가 너희 손에 붙이는 사람을 한 사람이라도 도망하게 하는 자는 자기의 생명으로 그 사람의 생명을 대신하리라 하니라
  So they went in to make sacrifices and burnt offerings. Now Jehu had posted eighty men outside with this warning: "If one of you lets any of the men I am placing in your hands escape, it will be your life for his life."

25. 번제 드리기를 다하매 예후가 호위병과 장관들에게 이르되 들어가서 한 사람도 나가지 못하게 하고 죽이라 하매 호위병과 장관들이 칼로 저희를 죽여 밖에 던지고
  As soon as Jehu had finished making the burnt offering, he ordered the guards and officers: "Go in and kill them; let no one escape." So they cut them down with the sword. The guards and officers threw the bodies out and then entered the inner shrine of the temple of Baal.

26. 바알의 당 있는 성으로 가서 바알의 당에서 목상들을 가져다가 불사르고
  They brought the sacred stone out of the temple of Baal and burned it.

27. 바알의 목상을 헐며 바알의 당을 훼파하여 변소를 만들었더니 오늘날까지 이르니라
  They demolished the sacred stone of Baal and tore down the temple of Baal, and people have used it for a latrine to this day.

28. 예후가 이와 같이 이스라엘 중에서 바알을 멸하였으나
  So Jehu destroyed Baal worship in Israel.

29. 이스라엘로 범죄케 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 죄 곧 벧엘과 단에 있는 금송아지를 섬기는 죄에서는 떠나지 아니하였더라
  However, he did not turn away from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he had caused Israel to commit--the worship of the golden calves at Bethel and Dan.

30. 여호와께서 예후에게 이르시되 네가 나 보기에 정직한 일을 행하되 잘 행하여 내 마음에 있는 대로 아합 집에 다 행하였은즉 네 자손이 이스라엘 왕위를 이어 사 대를 지나리라 하시니라
  The LORD said to Jehu, "Because you have done well in accomplishing what is right in my eyes and have done to the house of Ahab all I had in mind to do, your descendants will sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation."

31. 그러나 예후가 전심으로 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 율법을 지켜 행하지 아니하며 여로보암이 이스라엘로 범하게 한 그 죄에서 떠나지 아니하였더라
  Yet Jehu was not careful to keep the law of the LORD, the God of Israel, with all his heart. He did not turn away from the sins of Jeroboam, which he had caused Israel to commit.

32. 이 때에 여호와께서 비로소 이스라엘을 찢으시매 하사엘이 그 사방을 치되
  In those days the LORD began to reduce the size of Israel. Hazael overpowered the Israelites throughout their territory

33. 요단 동편 길르앗 온 땅 곧 갓 사람과 르우벤 사람과 므낫세 사람의 땅 아르논 골짜기에 있는 아로엘에서부터 길르앗과 바산까지 하였더라
  east of the Jordan in all the land of Gilead (the region of Gad, Reuben and Manasseh), from Aroer by the Arnon Gorge through Gilead to Bashan.

34. 예후의 남은 사적과 무릇 행한 일과 모든 권세는 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
  As for the other events of Jehu's reign, all he did, and all his achievements, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Israel?

35. 예후가 그 열조와 함께 자매 사마리아에 장사되고 그 아들 여호아하스가 대신하여 왕이 되니라
  Jehu rested with his fathers and was buried in Samaria. And Jehoahaz his son succeeded him as king.

36. 예후가 사마리아에서 이스라엘을 다스린 햇수는 이십팔 년이더라
  The time that Jehu reigned over Israel in Samaria was twenty-eight years.

디모데후서 1

1. 하나님의 뜻으로 말미암아 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 생명의 약속대로 그리스도 예수의 사도된 바울은
  Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, according to the promise of life that is in Christ Jesus,

2. 사랑하는 아들 디모데에게 편지하노니 하나님 아버지와 그리스도 예수 우리 주께로부터 은혜와 긍휼과 평강이 네게 있을찌어다
  To Timothy, my dear son: Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

3. 나의 밤낮 간구하는 가운데 쉬지 않고 너를 생각하여 청결한 양심으로 조상적부터 섬겨 오는 하나님께 감사하고
  I thank God, whom I serve, as my forefathers did, with a clear conscience, as night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers.

4. 네 눈물을 생각하여 너 보기를 원함은 내 기쁨이 가득하게 하려 함이니
  Recalling your tears, I long to see you, so that I may be filled with joy.

5. 이는 네 속에 거짓이 없는 믿음을 생각함이라 이 믿음은 먼저 네 외조모 로이스와 네 어머니 유니게 속에 있더니 네 속에도 있는 줄을 확신하노라
  I have been reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.

6. 그러므로 내가 나의 안수함으로 네 속에 있는 하나님의 은사를 다시 불일듯하게 하기 위하여 너로 생각하게 하노니
  For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

7. 하나님이 우리에게 주신 것은 두려워하는 마음이 아니요 오직 능력과 사랑과 근신하는 마음이니
  For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.

8. 그러므로 네가 우리 주의 증거와 또는 주를 위하여 갇힌 자 된 나를 부끄러워 말고 오직 하나님의 능력을 좇아 복음과 함께 고난을 받으라
  So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, or ashamed of me his prisoner. But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God,

9. 하나님이 우리를 구원하사 거룩하신 부르심으로 부르심은 우리의 행위대로 하심이 아니요 오직 자기 뜻과 영원한 때 전부터 그리스도 예수 안에서 우리에게 주신 은혜대로 하심이라
  who has saved us and called us to a holy life--not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,

10. 이제는 우리 구주 그리스도 예수의 나타나심으로 말미암아 나타났으니 저는 사망을 폐하시고 복음으로써 생명과 썩지 아니할 것을 드러내신지라
  but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.

11. 내가 이 복음을 위하여 반포자와 사도와 교사로 세우심을 입었노라
  And of this gospel I was appointed a herald and an apostle and a teacher.

12. 이를 인하여 내가 또 이 고난을 받되 부끄러워하지 아니함은 나의 의뢰한 자를 내가 알고 또한 나의 의탁한 것을 그 날까지 저가 능히 지키실 줄을 확신함이라
  That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him for that day.

13. 너는 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 믿음과 사랑으로써 내게 들은 바 바른 말을 본받아 지키고
  What you heard from me, keep as the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus.

14. 우리 안에 거하시는 성령으로 말미암아 네게 부탁한 아름다운 것을 지키라
  Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you--guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.

15. 아시아에 있는 모든 사람이 나를 버린 이 일을 네가 아나니 그 중에 부겔로와 허모게네가 있느니라
  You know that everyone in the province of Asia has deserted me, including Phygelus and Hermogenes.

16. 원컨대 주께서 오네시보로의 집에 긍휼을 베푸시옵소서 저가 나를 자주 유쾌케 하고 나의 사슬에 매인 것을 부끄러워 아니하여
  May the Lord show mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains.

17. 로마에 있을 때에 나를 부지런히 찾아 만났느니라
  On the contrary, when he was in Rome, he searched hard for me until he found me.

18. (원컨대 주께서 저로 하여금 그 날에 주의 긍휼을 얻게 하여 주옵소서) 또 저가 에베소에서 얼마큼 나를 섬긴 것을 네가 잘 아느니라
  May the Lord grant that he will find mercy from the Lord on that day! You know very well in how many ways he helped me in Ephesus.

호세아 2

1. 너희 형제에게는 암미라 하고 너희 자매에게는 루하마라 하라
  "Say of your brothers, 'My people,' and of your sisters, 'My loved one.'

2. 너희 어미와 쟁론하고 쟁론하라 저는 내 아내가 아니요 나는 저의 남편이 아니라 저로 그 얼굴에서 음란을 제하게 하고 그 유방 사이에서 음행을 제하게 하라
  "Rebuke your mother, rebuke her, for she is not my wife, and I am not her husband. Let her remove the adulterous look from her face and the unfaithfulness from between her breasts.

3. 그렇지 아니하면 내가 저를 벌거벗겨서 그 나던 날과 같게 할 것이요 저로 광야같이 되게 하며 마른 땅같이 되게 하여 목말라 죽게 할 것이며
  Otherwise I will strip her naked and make her as bare as on the day she was born; I will make her like a desert, turn her into a parched land, and slay her with thirst.

4. 내가 그 자녀를 긍휼히 여기지 아니하리니 이는 저희가 음란한 자식들임이니라
  I will not show my love to her children, because they are the children of adultery.

5. 저희의 어미는 행음하였고 저희를 배었던 자가 부끄러운 일을 행하였나니 대저 저가 이르기를 나는 나를 연애하는 자들을 따르리니 저희가 내 떡과 내 물과 내 양털과 내 삼과 내 기름과 내 술들을 내게 준다 하였느니라
  Their mother has been unfaithful and has conceived them in disgrace. She said, 'I will go after my lovers, who give me my food and my water, my wool and my linen, my oil and my drink.'

6. 그러므로 내가 가시로 그 길을 막으며 담을 쌓아 저로 그 길을 찾지 못하게 하리니
  Therefore I will block her path with thornbushes; I will wall her in so that she cannot find her way.

7. 저가 그 연애하는 자를 따라 갈찌라도 미치지 못하며 저희를 찾을찌라도 만나지 못할 것이라 그제야 저가 이르기를 내가 본 남편에게로 돌아가리니 그 때의 내 형편이 지금보다 나았음이라 하리라
  She will chase after her lovers but not catch them; she will look for them but not find them. Then she will say, 'I will go back to my husband as at first, for then I was better off than now.'

8. 곡식과 새 포도주와 기름은 내가 저에게 준 것이요 저희가 바알을 위하여 쓴 은과 금도 내가 저에게 더하여 준 것이어늘 저가 알지 못하도다
  She has not acknowledged that I was the one who gave her the grain, the new wine and oil, who lavished on her the silver and gold--which they used for Baal.

9. 그러므로 그 시절에 내가 내 곡식을 도로 찾으며 그 시기에 내가 내 새 포도주를 도로 찾으며 또 저희 벌거벗은 몸을 가리울 내 양털과 내 삼을 빼앗으리라
  "Therefore I will take away my grain when it ripens, and my new wine when it is ready. I will take back my wool and my linen, intended to cover her nakedness.

10. 이제 내가 그 수치를 그 연애하는 자의 눈 앞에 드러내리니 저를 내 손에서 건져낼 사람이 없으리라
  So now I will expose her lewdness before the eyes of her lovers; no one will take her out of my hands.

11. 내가 그 모든 희락과 절기와 월삭과 안식일과 모든 명절을 폐하겠고
  I will stop all her celebrations: her yearly festivals, her New Moons, her Sabbath days--all her appointed feasts.

12. 저가 전에 이르기를 이것은 나를 연애하는 자들이 내게 준 값이라 하던 그 포도나무와 무화과나무를 거칠게 하여 수풀이 되게 하며 들짐승들로 먹게 하리라
  I will ruin her vines and her fig trees, which she said were her pay from her lovers; I will make them a thicket, and wild animals will devour them.

13. 저가 귀고리와 패물로 장식하고 그 연애하는 자를 따라가서 나를 잊어버리고 향을 살라 바알들을 섬긴 시일을 따라 내가 저에게 벌을 주리라 나 여호와의 말이니라
  I will punish her for the days she burned incense to the Baals; she decked herself with rings and jewelry, and went after her lovers, but me she forgot," declares the LORD.

14. 그러므로 내가 저를 개유하여 거친 들로 데리고 가서 말로 위로하고
  "Therefore I am now going to allure her; I will lead her into the desert and speak tenderly to her.

15. 거기서 비로소 저의 포도원을 저에게 주고 아골 골짜기로 소망의 문을 삼아 주리니 저가 거기서 응대하기를 어렸을 때와 애굽 땅에서 올라오던 날과 같이 하리라
  There I will give her back her vineyards, and will make the Valley of Achor a door of hope. There she will sing as in the days of her youth, as in the day she came up out of Egypt.

16. 여호와께서 이르시되 그 날에 네가 나를 내 남편이라 일컫고 다시는 내 바알이라 일컫지 아니하리라
  "In that day," declares the LORD, "you will call me 'my husband'; you will no longer call me 'my master.'

17. 내가 바알들의 이름을 저의 입에서 제하여 다시는 그 이름을 기억하여 일컬음이 없게 하리라
  I will remove the names of the Baals from her lips; no longer will their names be invoked.

18. 그 날에는 내가 저희를 위하여 들짐승과 공중의 새와 땅의 곤충으로 더불어 언약을 세우며 또 이 땅에서 활과 칼을 꺾어 전쟁을 없이 하고 저희로 평안히 눕게 하리라
  In that day I will make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field and the birds of the air and the creatures that move along the ground. Bow and sword and battle I will abolish from the land, so that all may lie down in safety.

19. 내가 네게 장가들어 영원히 살되 의와 공변됨과 은총과 긍휼히 여김으로 네게 장가들며
  I will betroth you to me forever; I will betroth you in righteousness and justice, in love and compassion.

20. 진실함으로 네게 장가들리니 네가 여호와를 알리라
  I will betroth you in faithfulness, and you will acknowledge the LORD.

21. 여호와께서 가라사대 그 날에 내가 응하리라 나는 하늘에 응하고 하늘은 땅에 응하고
  "In that day I will respond," declares the LORD--"I will respond to the skies, and they will respond to the earth;

22. 땅은 곡식과 포도주와 기름에 응하고 또 이것들은 이스르엘에 응하리라
  and the earth will respond to the grain, the new wine and oil, and they will respond to Jezreel.

23. 내가 나를 위하여 저를 이 땅에 심고 긍휼히 여김을 받지 못하였던 자를 긍휼히 여기며 내 백성 아니었던 자에게 향하여 이르기를 너는 내 백성이라 하리니 저희는 이르기를 주는 내 하나님이시라 하리라
  I will plant her for myself in the land; I will show my love to the one I called 'Not my loved one.' I will say to those called 'Not my people,' 'You are my people'; and they will say, 'You are my God.'"

시편 119:97-120

97. 내가 주의 법을 어찌 그리 사랑하는지요 내가 그것을 종일 묵상하나이다
  Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long.

98. 주의 계명이 항상 나와 함께 하므로 그것이 나로 원수보다 지혜롭게 하나이다
  Your commands make me wiser than my enemies, for they are ever with me.

99. 내가 주의 증거를 묵상하므로 나의 명철함이 나의 모든 스승보다 승하며
  I have more insight than all my teachers, for I meditate on your statutes.

100. 주의 법도를 지키므로 나의 명철함이 노인보다 승하니이다
  I have more understanding than the elders, for I obey your precepts.

101. 내가 주의 말씀을 지키려고 발을 금하여 모든 악한 길로 가지 아니하였사오며
  I have kept my feet from every evil path so that I might obey your word.

102. 주께서 나를 가르치셨으므로 내가 주의 규례에서 떠나지 아니하였나이다
  I have not departed from your laws, for you yourself have taught me.

103. 주의 말씀의 맛이 내게 어찌 그리 단지요 내 입에 꿀보다 더하니이다
  How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

104. 주의 법도로 인하여 내가 명철케 되었으므로 모든 거짓 행위를 미워하나이다
  I gain understanding from your precepts; therefore I hate every wrong path.

105. 주의 말씀은 내 발에 등이요 내 길에 빛이니이다
  Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.

106. 주의 의로운 규례를 지키기로 맹세하고 굳게 정하였나이다
  I have taken an oath and confirmed it, that I will follow your righteous laws.

107. 나의 고난이 막심하오니 여호와여 주의 말씀대로 나를 소성케 하소서
  I have suffered much; preserve my life, O LORD, according to your word.

108. 여호와여 구하오니 내 입의 낙헌제를 받으시고 주의 규례로 나를 가르치소서
  Accept, O LORD, the willing praise of my mouth, and teach me your laws.

109. 나의 생명이 항상 위경에 있사오나 주의 법은 잊지 아니하나이다
  Though I constantly take my life in my hands, I will not forget your law.

110. 악인이 나를 해하려고 올무를 놓았사오나 나는 주의 법도에서 떠나지 아니하였나이다
  The wicked have set a snare for me, but I have not strayed from your precepts.

111. 주의 증거로 내가 영원히 기업을 삼았사오니 이는 내 마음의 즐거움이 됨이니이다
  Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart.

112. 내가 주의 율례를 길이 끝까지 행하려고 내 마음을 기울였나이다
  My heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end.

113. 내가 두 마음 품는 자를 미워하고 주의 법을 사랑하나이다
  I hate double-minded men, but I love your law.

114. 주는 나의 은신처요 방패시라 내가 주의 말씀을 바라나이다
  You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word.

115. 너희 행악자여 나를 떠날찌어다 나는 내 하나님의 계명을 지키리로다
  Away from me, you evildoers, that I may keep the commands of my God!

116. 주의 말씀대로 나를 붙들어 살게 하시고 내 소망이 부끄럽지 말게 하소서
  Sustain me according to your promise, and I will live; do not let my hopes be dashed.

117. 나를 붙드소서 그리하시면 내가 구원을 얻고 주의 율례에 항상 주의하리이다
  Uphold me, and I will be delivered; I will always have regard for your decrees.

118. 주의 율례에서 떠나는 자는 주께서 다 멸시하셨으니 저희 궤사는 허무함이니이다
  You reject all who stray from your decrees, for their deceitfulness is in vain.

119. 주께서 세상의 모든 악인을 찌끼같이 버리시니 그러므로 내가 주의 증거를 사랑하나이다
  All the wicked of the earth you discard like dross; therefore I love your statutes.

120. 내 육체가 주를 두려워함으로 떨며 내가 또 주의 판단을 두려워하나이다
  My flesh trembles in fear of you; I stand in awe of your laws.
