열왕기상 3

1. 솔로몬이 애굽 왕 바로로 더불어 인연을 맺어 그 딸을 취하고 데려다가 다윗 성에 두고 자기의 궁과 여호와의 전과 예루살렘 주위의 성이 필역되기를 기다리니라
  Solomon made an alliance with Pharaoh king of Egypt and married his daughter. He brought her to the City of David until he finished building his palace and the temple of the LORD, and the wall around Jerusalem.

2. 그 때까지 여호와의 이름을 위하여 전을 아직 건축하지 아니하였으므로 백성들이 산당에서 제사하며
  The people, however, were still sacrificing at the high places, because a temple had not yet been built for the Name of the LORD.

3. 솔로몬이 여호와를 사랑하고 그 부친 다윗의 법도를 행하되 오히려 산당에서 제사하며 분향하더라
  Solomon showed his love for the LORD by walking according to the statutes of his father David, except that he offered sacrifices and burned incense on the high places.

4. 이에 왕이 제사하러 기브온으로 가니 거기는 산당이 큼이라 솔로몬이 그 단에 일천 번제를 드렸더니
  The king went to Gibeon to offer sacrifices, for that was the most important high place, and Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar.

5. 기브온에서 밤에 여호와께서 솔로몬의 꿈에 나타나시니라 하나님이 이르시되 내가 네게 무엇을 줄꼬 너는 구하라
  At Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon during the night in a dream, and God said, "Ask for whatever you want me to give you."

6. 솔로몬이 가로되 주의 종 내 아비 다윗이 성실과 공의와 정직한 마음으로 주와 함께 주의 앞에서 행하므로 주께서 저에게 큰 은혜를 베푸셨고 주께서 또 저를 위하여 이 큰 은혜를 예비하시고 오늘날과 같이 저의 위에 앉을 아들을 저에게 주셨나이다
  Solomon answered, "You have shown great kindness to your servant, my father David, because he was faithful to you and righteous and upright in heart. You have continued this great kindness to him and have given him a son to sit on his throne this very day.

7. 나의 하나님 여호와여 주께서 종으로 종의 아비 다윗을 대신하여 왕이 되게 하셨사오나 종은 작은 아이라 출입할 줄을 알지 못하고
  "Now, O LORD my God, you have made your servant king in place of my father David. But I am only a little child and do not know how to carry out my duties.

8. 주의 빼신 백성 가운데 있나이다 저희는 큰 백성이라 수효가 많아서 셀 수도 없고 기록할 수도 없사오니
  Your servant is here among the people you have chosen, a great people, too numerous to count or number.

9. 누가 주의 이 많은 백성을 재판할 수 있사오리이까 지혜로운 마음을 종에게 주사 주의 백성을 재판하여 선악을 분별하게 하옵소서
  So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?"

10. 솔로몬이 이것을 구하매 그 말씀이 주의 마음에 맞은지라
  The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for this.

11. 이에 하나님이 저에게 이르시되 네가 이것을 구하도다 자기를 위하여 수도 구하지 아니하며 부도 구하지 아니하며 자기의 원수의 생명 멸하기도 구하지 아니하고 오직 송사를 듣고 분별하는 지혜를 구하였은즉
  So God said to him, "Since you have asked for this and not for long life or wealth for yourself, nor have asked for the death of your enemies but for discernment in administering justice,

12. 내가 네 말대로 하여 네게 지혜롭고 총명한 마음을 주노니 너의 전에도 너와 같은 자가 없었거니와 너의 후에도 너와 같은 자가 일어남이 없으리라
  I will do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be.

13. 내가 또 너의 구하지 아니한 부와 영광도 네게 주노니 네 평생에 열왕 중에 너와 같은 자가 없을 것이라
  Moreover, I will give you what you have not asked for--both riches and honor--so that in your lifetime you will have no equal among kings.

14. 네가 만일 네 아비 다윗의 행함같이 내 길로 행하며 내 법도와 명령을 지키면 내가 또 네 날을 길게 하리라
  And if you walk in my ways and obey my statutes and commands as David your father did, I will give you a long life."

15. 솔로몬이 깨어 보니 꿈이더라 이에 예루살렘에 이르러 여호와의 언약궤 앞에 서서 번제와 수은제를 드리고 모든 신복을 위하여 잔치하였더라
  Then Solomon awoke--and he realized it had been a dream. He returned to Jerusalem, stood before the ark of the Lord's covenant and sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. Then he gave a feast for all his court.

16. 때에 창기 두 계집이 왕에게 와서 그 앞에 서며
  Now two prostitutes came to the king and stood before him.

17. 한 계집은 말하되 내 주여 나와 이 계집이 한 집에서 사는데 내가 저와 함께 집에 있으며 아이를 낳았더니
  One of them said, "My lord, this woman and I live in the same house. I had a baby while she was there with me.

18. 나의 해산한 지 삼 일에 이 계집도 해산하고 우리가 함께 있었고 우리 둘 외에는 집에 다른 사람이 없었나이다
  The third day after my child was born, this woman also had a baby. We were alone; there was no one in the house but the two of us.

19. 그런데 밤에 저 계집이 그 아들 위에 누우므로 그 아들이 죽으니
  "During the night this woman's son died because she lay on him.

20. 저가 밤중에 일어나서 계집종 나의 잠든 사이에 내 아들을 내 곁에서 가져다가 자기의 품에 누이고 자기의 죽은 아들을 내 품에 뉘었나이다
  So she got up in the middle of the night and took my son from my side while I your servant was asleep. She put him by her breast and put her dead son by my breast.

21. 미명에 내가 내 아들을 젖 먹이려고 일어나 본즉 죽었기로 내가 아침에 자세히 보니 내가 낳은 아들이 아니더이다 하매
  The next morning, I got up to nurse my son--and he was dead! But when I looked at him closely in the morning light, I saw that it wasn't the son I had borne."

22. 다른 계집은 이르되 아니라 산 것은 내 아들이요 죽은 것은 네 아들이라 하고 이 계집은 이르되 아니라 죽은 것이 네 아들이요 산 것이 내 아들이라 하며 왕 앞에서 그와 같이 쟁론하는지라
  The other woman said, "No! The living one is my son; the dead one is yours." But the first one insisted, "No! The dead one is yours; the living one is mine." And so they argued before the king.

23. 왕이 가로되 이는 말하기를 산 것은 내 아들이요 죽은 것은 네 아들이라 하고 저는 말하기를 아니라 죽은 것이 네 아들이요 산 것이 내 아들이라 하는도다 하고
  The king said, "This one says, 'My son is alive and your son is dead,' while that one says, 'No! Your son is dead and mine is alive.'"

24. 또 가로되 칼을 내게로 가져오라 하니 칼을 왕의 앞으로 가져온지라
  Then the king said, "Bring me a sword." So they brought a sword for the king.

25. 왕이 이르되 산 아들을 둘에 나눠 반은 이에게 주고 반은 저에게 주라
  He then gave an order: "Cut the living child in two and give half to one and half to the other."

26. 그 산 아들의 어미 되는 계집이 그 아들을 위하여 마음이 불붙는 것 같아서 왕께 아뢰어 가로되 청컨대 내 주여 산 아들을 저에게 주시고 아무쪼록 죽이지 마옵소서 하되 한 계집은 말하기를 내 것도 되게 말고 네 것도 되게 말고 나누게 하라 하는지라
  The woman whose son was alive was filled with compassion for her son and said to the king, "Please, my lord, give her the living baby! Don't kill him!" But the other said, "Neither I nor you shall have him. Cut him in two!"

27. 왕이 대답하여 가로되 산 아들을 저 계집에게 주고 결코 죽이지 말라 저가 그 어미니라 하매
  Then the king gave his ruling: "Give the living baby to the first woman. Do not kill him; she is his mother."

28. 온 이스라엘이 왕의 심리하여 판결함을 듣고 왕을 두려워하였으니 이는 하나님의 지혜가 저의 속에 있어 판결함을 봄이더라
  When all Israel heard the verdict the king had given, they held the king in awe, because they saw that he had wisdom from God to administer justice.

에베소서 1

1. 하나님의 뜻으로 말미암아 그리스도 예수의 사도 된 바울은 에베소에 있는 성도들과 그리스도 예수 안의 신실한 자들에게 편지하노니
  Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints in Ephesus, the faithful in Christ Jesus:

2. 하나님 우리 아버지와 주 예수 그리스도로 좇아 은혜와 평강이 너희에게 있을찌어다
  Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3. 찬송하리로다 하나님 곧 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 아버지께서 그리스도 안에서 하늘에 속한 모든 신령한 복으로 우리에게 복 주시되
  Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

4. 곧 창세 전에 그리스도 안에서 우리를 택하사 우리로 사랑 안에서 그 앞에 거룩하고 흠이 없게 하시려고
  For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love

5. 그 기쁘신 뜻대로 우리를 예정하사 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 자기의 아들들이 되게 하셨으니
  he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will--

6. 이는 그의 사랑하시는 자 안에서 우리에게 거저 주시는 바 그의 은혜의 영광을 찬미하게 하려는 것이라
  to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.

7. 우리가 그리스도 안에서 그의 은혜의 풍성함을 따라 그의 피로 말미암아 구속 곧 죄 사함을 받았으니
  In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace

8. 이는 그가 모든 지혜와 총명으로 우리에게 넘치게 하사
  that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding.

9. 그 뜻의 비밀을 우리에게 알리셨으니 곧 그 기쁘심을 따라 그리스도 안에서 때가 찬 경륜을 위하여 예정하신 것이니
  And he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ,

10. 하늘에 있는 것이나 땅에 있는 것이 다 그리스도 안에서 통일되게 하려 하심이라
  to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment--to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.

11. 모든 일을 그 마음의 원대로 역사하시는 자의 뜻을 따라 우리가 예정을 입어 그 안에서 기업이 되었으니
  In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will,

12. 이는 그리스도 안에서 전부터 바라던 우리로 그의 영광의 찬송이 되게 하려 하심이라
  in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory.

13. 그 안에서 너희도 진리의 말씀 곧 너희의 구원의 복음을 듣고 그 안에서 또한 믿어 약속의 성령으로 인치심을 받았으니
  And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,

14. 이는 우리의 기업에 보증이 되사 그 얻으신 것을 구속하시고 그의 영광을 찬미하게 하려 하심이라
  who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession--to the praise of his glory.

15. 이를 인하여 주 예수 안에서 너희 믿음과 모든 성도를 향한 사랑을 나도 듣고
  For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,

16. 너희를 인하여 감사하기를 마지 아니하고 내가 기도할 때에 너희를 말하노라
  I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.

17. 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 하나님, 영광의 아버지께서 지혜와 계시의 정신을 너희에게 주사 하나님을 알게 하시고
  I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.

18. 너희 마음 눈을 밝히사 그의 부르심의 소망이 무엇이며 성도 안에서 그 기업의 영광의 풍성이 무엇이며
  I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,

19. 그의 힘의 강력으로 역사하심을 따라 믿는 우리에게 베푸신 능력의 지극히 크심이 어떤 것을 너희로 알게 하시기를 구하노라
  and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength,

20. 그 능력이 그리스도 안에서 역사하사 죽은 자들 가운데서 다시 살리시고 하늘에서 자기의 오른편에 앉히사
  which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms,

21. 모든 정사와 권세와 능력과 주관하는 자와 이 세상뿐 아니라 오는 세상에 일컫는 모든 이름 위에 뛰어나게 하시고
  far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.

22. 또 만물을 그 발 아래 복종하게 하시고 그를 만물 위에 교회의 머리로 주셨느니라
  And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church,

23. 교회는 그의 몸이니 만물 안에서 만물을 충만케 하시는 자의 충만이니라
  which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.

에스겔 34

1. 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 가라사대
  The word of the LORD came to me:

2. 인자야 너는 이스라엘 목자들을 쳐서 예언하라 그들 곧 목자들에게 예언하여 이르기를 주 여호와의 말씀에 자기만 먹이는 이스라엘 목자들은 화 있을찐저 목자들이 양의 무리를 먹이는 것이 마땅치 아니하냐
  "Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy and say to them: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Woe to the shepherds of Israel who only take care of themselves! Should not shepherds take care of the flock?

3. 너희가 살진 양을 잡아 그 기름을 먹으며 그 털을 입되 양의 무리는 먹이지 아니하는도다
  You eat the curds, clothe yourselves with the wool and slaughter the choice animals, but you do not take care of the flock.

4. 너희가 그 연약한 자를 강하게 아니하며 병든 자를 고치지 아니하며 상한 자를 싸매어 주지 아니하며 쫓긴 자를 돌아오게 아니하며 잃어버린 자를 찾지 아니하고 다만 강포로 그것들을 다스렸도다
  You have not strengthened the weak or healed the sick or bound up the injured. You have not brought back the strays or searched for the lost. You have ruled them harshly and brutally.

5. 목자가 없으므로 그것들이 흩어지며 흩어져서 모든 들짐승의 밥이 되었도다
  So they were scattered because there was no shepherd, and when they were scattered they became food for all the wild animals.

6. 내 양의 무리가 모든 산과 높은 멧부리에마다 유리되었고 내 양의 무리가 온 지면에 흩어졌으되 찾고 찾는 자가 없었도다
  My sheep wandered over all the mountains and on every high hill. They were scattered over the whole earth, and no one searched or looked for them.

7. 그러므로 목자들아 여호와의 말씀을 들을찌어다
  "'Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD:

8. 주 여호와의 말씀에 내가 나의 삶을 두고 맹세하노라 내 양의 무리가 노략거리가 되고 모든 들짐승의 밥이 된 것은 목자가 없음이라 내 목자들이 내 양을 찾지 아니하고 자기만 먹이고 내 양의 무리를 먹이지 아니하였도다
  As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, because my flock lacks a shepherd and so has been plundered and has become food for all the wild animals, and because my shepherds did not search for my flock but cared for themselves rather than for my flock,

9. 그러므로 너희 목자들아 여호와의 말씀을 들을찌어다
  therefore, O shepherds, hear the word of the LORD:

10. 주 여호와의 말씀에 내가 목자들을 대적하여 내 양의 무리를 그들의 손에서 찾으리니 목자들이 양을 먹이지 못할 뿐 아니라 그들이 다시는 자기를 먹이지 못할찌라 내가 내 양을 그들의 입에서 건져내어서 다시는 그 식물이 되지 않게 하리라
  This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against the shepherds and will hold them accountable for my flock. I will remove them from tending the flock so that the shepherds can no longer feed themselves. I will rescue my flock from their mouths, and it will no longer be food for them.

11. 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 나 곧 내가 내 양을 찾고 찾되
  "'For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I myself will search for my sheep and look after them.

12. 목자가 양 가운데 있는 날에 양이 흩어졌으면 그 떼를 찾는 것 같이 내가 내 양을 찾아서 흐리고 캄캄한 날에 그 흩어진 모든 곳에서 그것들을 건져낼찌라
  As a shepherd looks after his scattered flock when he is with them, so will I look after my sheep. I will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness.

13. 내가 그것들을 만민 중에서 끌어내며 열방 중에서 모아 그 본토로 데리고 가서 이스라엘 산 위에와 시냇가에와 그 땅 모든 거주지에서 먹이되
  I will bring them out from the nations and gather them from the countries, and I will bring them into their own land. I will pasture them on the mountains of Israel, in the ravines and in all the settlements in the land.

14. 좋은 꼴로 먹이고 그 우리를 이스라엘 높은 산 위에 두리니 그것들이 거기서 좋은 우리에 누워 있으며 이스라엘 산 위에서 살진 꼴을 먹으리라
  I will tend them in a good pasture, and the mountain heights of Israel will be their grazing land. There they will lie down in good grazing land, and there they will feed in a rich pasture on the mountains of Israel.

15. 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 내가 친히 내 양의 목자가 되어 그것들로 누워 있게 할찌라
  I myself will tend my sheep and have them lie down, declares the Sovereign LORD.

16. 그 잃어버린 자를 내가 찾으며 쫓긴 자를 내가 돌아 오게 하며 상한 자를 내가 싸매어 주며 병든 자를 내가 강하게 하려니와 살찐자와 강한 자는 내가 멸하고 공의대로 그것들을 먹이리라
  I will search for the lost and bring back the strays. I will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak, but the sleek and the strong I will destroy. I will shepherd the flock with justice.

17. 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 나의 양떼 너희여 내가 양과 양의 사이와 수양과 수염소의 사이에 심판하노라
  "'As for you, my flock, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will judge between one sheep and another, and between rams and goats.

18. 너희가 좋은 꼴 먹은 것을 작은 일로 여기느냐 어찌하여 남은 꼴을 발로 밟았느냐 너희가 맑은 물 마신 것을 작은 일로 여기느냐 어찌하여 남은 물을 발로 더럽혔느냐
  Is it not enough for you to feed on the good pasture? Must you also trample the rest of your pasture with your feet? Is it not enough for you to drink clear water? Must you also muddy the rest with your feet?

19. 나의 양은 너희 발로 밟은 것을 먹으며 너희 발로 더럽힌 것을 마시는도다 하셨느니라
  Must my flock feed on what you have trampled and drink what you have muddied with your feet?

20. 그러므로 주 여호와께서 그들에게 대하여 말씀하시기를 나 곧 내가 살찐 양과 파리한 양 사이에 심판하리라
  "'Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says to them: See, I myself will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.

21. 너희가 옆구리와 어깨로 밀뜨리고 모든 병든 자를 뿔로 받아 무리로 밖으로 흩어지게 하는도다
  Because you shove with flank and shoulder, butting all the weak sheep with your horns until you have driven them away,

22. 그러므로 내가 내 양 떼를 구원하여 그들로 다시는 노략거리가 되지 않게 하고 양과 양 사이에 심판하리라
  I will save my flock, and they will no longer be plundered. I will judge between one sheep and another.

23. 내가 한 목자를 그들의 위에 세워 먹이게 하리니 그는 내 종 다윗이라 그가 그들을 먹이고 그들의 목자가 될찌라
  I will place over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he will tend them; he will tend them and be their shepherd.

24. 나 여호와는 그들의 하나님이 되고 내 종 다윗은 그들 중에 왕이 되리라 나 여호와의 말이니라
  I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David will be prince among them. I the LORD have spoken.

25. 내가 또 그들과 화평의 언약을 세우고 악한 짐승을 그 땅에서 그치게 하리니 그들이 빈 들에 평안히 거하며 수풀 가운데서 잘찌라
  "'I will make a covenant of peace with them and rid the land of wild beasts so that they may live in the desert and sleep in the forests in safety.

26. 내가 그들에게 복을 내리며 내 산 사면 모든 곳도 복되게 하여 때를 따라 비를 내리되 복된 장마비를 내리리라
  I will bless them and the places surrounding my hill. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing.

27. 그리한즉 밭에 나무가 열매를 맺으며 땅이 그 소산을 내리니 그들이 그 땅에서 평안할찌라 내가 그들의 멍엣목을 꺾고 그들로 종을 삼은 자의 손에서 그들을 건져낸 후에 그들이 나를 여호와 인줄 알겠고
  The trees of the field will yield their fruit and the ground will yield its crops; the people will be secure in their land. They will know that I am the LORD, when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from the hands of those who enslaved them.

28. 그들이 다시는 이방의 노략거리가 되지 아니하며 땅의 짐승의 삼킨 바 되지 아니하고 평안히 거하리니 놀랠 사람이 없으리라
  They will no longer be plundered by the nations, nor will wild animals devour them. They will live in safety, and no one will make them afraid.

29. 내가 그들을 위하여 유명한 종식할 땅을 일으키리니 그들이 다시는 그 땅에서 기근으로 멸망하지 아니할찌며 다시는 열국의 수치를 받지 아니할찌라
  I will provide for them a land renowned for its crops, and they will no longer be victims of famine in the land or bear the scorn of the nations.

30. 그들이 나 여호와 그들의 하나님이 그들과 함께 있는 줄을 알며 그들 곧 이스라엘 족속이 내 백성인 줄 알리라 나 주 여호와의 말이라
  Then they will know that I, the LORD their God, am with them and that they, the house of Israel, are my people, declares the Sovereign LORD.

31. 내 양 곧 내 초장의 양 너희는 사람이요 나는 너희 하나님이라 나 주 여호와의 말이니라
  You my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, are people, and I am your God, declares the Sovereign LORD.'"

시편 83-84

1. 하나님이여 침묵치 마소서 하나님이여 잠잠치 말고 고요치 마소서
  A song. A psalm of Asaph. O God, do not keep silent; be not quiet, O God, be not still.

2. 대저 주의 원수가 훤화하며 주를 한하는 자가 머리를 들었나이다
  See how your enemies are astir, how your foes rear their heads.

3. 저희가 주의 백성을 치려 하여 간계를 꾀하며 주의 숨긴 자를 치려고 서로 의논하여
  With cunning they conspire against your people; they plot against those you cherish.

4. 말하기를 가서 저희를 끊어 다시 나라가 되지 못하게 하여 이스라엘의 이름으로 다시는 기억되지 못하게 하자 하나이다
  "Come," they say, "let us destroy them as a nation, that the name of Israel be remembered no more."

5. 저희가 일심으로 의논하고 주를 대적하여 서로 언약하니
  With one mind they plot together; they form an alliance against you--

6. 곧 에돔의 장막과 이스마엘인과 모압과 하갈인이며
  the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, of Moab and the Hagrites,

7. 그발과 암몬과 아말렉이며 블레셋과 두로 거민이요
  Gebal, Ammon and Amalek, Philistia, with the people of Tyre.

8. 앗수르도 저희와 연합하여 롯 자손의 도움이 되었나이다 (셀라)
  Even Assyria has joined them to lend strength to the descendants of Lot. Selah

9. 주는 미디안인에게 행하신 것같이, 기손 시내에서 시스라와 야빈에게 행하신 것같이 저희에게도 행하소서
  Do to them as you did to Midian, as you did to Sisera and Jabin at the river Kishon,

10. 그들은 엔돌에서 패망하여 땅에 거름이 되었나이다
  who perished at Endor and became like refuse on the ground.

11. 저희 귀인으로 오렙과 스엡 같게 하시며 저희 모든 방백으로 세바와 살문나와 같게 하소서
  Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,

12. 저희가 말하기를 우리가 하나님의 목장을 우리의 소유로 취하자 하였나이다
  who said, "Let us take possession of the pasturelands of God."

13. 나의 하나님이여 저희로 굴러가는 검불 같게 하시며 바람에 날리는 초개 같게 하소서
  Make them like tumbleweed, O my God, like chaff before the wind.

14. 삼림을 사르는 불과 산에 붙는 화염같이
  As fire consumes the forest or a flame sets the mountains ablaze,

15. 주의 광풍으로 저희를 쫓으시며 주의 폭풍으로 저희를 두렵게 하소서
  so pursue them with your tempest and terrify them with your storm.

16. 여호와여 수치로 저희 얼굴에 가득케 하사 저희로 주의 이름을 찾게 하소서
  Cover their faces with shame so that men will seek your name, O LORD.

17. 저희로 수치를 당하여 영원히 놀라게 하시며 낭패와 멸망을 당케 하사
  May they ever be ashamed and dismayed; may they perish in disgrace.

18. 여호와라 이름하신 주만 온 세계의 지존자로 알게 하소서
  Let them know that you, whose name is the LORD--that you alone are the Most High over all the earth.

1. 만군의 여호와여 주의 장막이 어찌 그리 사랑스러운지요
  For the director of music. According to gittith. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm. How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD Almighty!

2. 내 영혼이 여호와의 궁정을 사모하여 쇠약함이여 내 마음과 육체가 생존하시는 하나님께 부르짖나이다
  My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

3. 나의 왕, 나의 하나님, 만군의 여호와여 주의 제단에서 참새도 제 집을 얻고 제비도 새끼 둘 보금자리를 얻었나이다
  Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young--a place near your altar, O LORD Almighty, my King and my God.

4. 주의 집에 거하는 자가 복이 있나이다 저희가 항상 주를 찬송하리이다 (셀라)
  Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you. Selah

5. 주께 힘을 얻고 그 마음에 시온의 대로가 있는 자는 복이 있나이다
  Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage.

6. 저희는 눈물 골짜기로 통행할 때에 그 곳으로 많은 샘의 곳이 되게 하며 이른 비도 은택을 입히나이다
  As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools.

7. 저희는 힘을 얻고 더 얻어 나아가 시온에서 하나님 앞에 각기 나타나리이다
  They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion.

8. 만군의 하나님 여호와여 내 기도를 들으소서 야곱의 하나님이여 귀를 기울이소서 (셀라)
  Hear my prayer, O LORD God Almighty; listen to me, O God of Jacob. Selah

9. 우리 방패이신 하나님이여 주의 기름 부으신 자의 얼굴을 살펴보옵소서
  Look upon our shield, O God; look with favor on your anointed one.

10. 주의 궁정에서 한 날이 다른 곳에서 천 날보다 나은즉 악인의 장막에 거함보다 내 하나님 문지기로 있는 것이 좋사오니
  Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.

11. 여호와 하나님은 해요 방패시라 여호와께서 은혜와 영화를 주시며 정직히 행하는 자에게 좋은 것을 아끼지 아니하실 것임이니이다
  For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.

12. 만군의 여호와여 주께 의지하는 자는 복이 있나이다
  O LORD Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in you.
