사사기 18

1. 그 때에 이스라엘에 왕이 없었고 단 지파는 이 때에 거할 기업의 땅을 구하는 중이었으니 이는 그들이 이스라엘 지파 중에서 이 때까지 기업의 땅 분배함을 얻지 못하였음이라
  In those days Israel had no king. And in those days the tribe of the Danites was seeking a place of their own where they might settle, because they had not yet come into an inheritance among the tribes of Israel.

2. 단 자손이 소라와 에스다올에서부터 자기 온 가족 중 용맹 있는 다섯 사람을 보내어 땅을 탐지하고 살피게 하며 그들에게 이르되 너희는 가서 땅을 살펴보라 하매 그들이 에브라임 산지에 가서 미가의 집에 이르러 거기서 유숙하니라
  So the Danites sent five warriors from Zorah and Eshtaol to spy out the land and explore it. These men represented all their clans. They told them, "Go, explore the land." The men entered the hill country of Ephraim and came to the house of Micah, where they spent the night.

3. 그들이 미가의 집에 가까이 올 때에 레위 소년의 음성을 알아듣고 그리로 돌이켜 가서 그에게 이르되 누가 너를 이리로 인도하였으며 네가 여기서 무엇을 하며 여기서 무엇을 얻었느냐
  When they were near Micah's house, they recognized the voice of the young Levite; so they turned in there and asked him, "Who brought you here? What are you doing in this place? Why are you here?"

4. 그가 그들에게 이르되 미가가 여차여차히 나를 대접하여 나를 고빙하여 나로 자기 제사장을 삼았느니라
  He told them what Micah had done for him, and said, "He has hired me and I am his priest."

5. 그들이 그에게 이르되 청컨대 우리를 위하여 하나님께 물어 보아서 우리의 행하는 길이 형통할는지 우리에게 알게 하라
  Then they said to him, "Please inquire of God to learn whether our journey will be successful."

6. 그 제사장이 그들에게 이르되 평안히 가라 너희의 행하는 길은 여호와 앞에 있느니라
  The priest answered them, "Go in peace. Your journey has the LORD'S approval."

7. 이에 다섯 사람이 떠나 라이스에 이르러 거기 있는 백성을 본즉 염려 없이 거하여 시돈 사람 같이 한가하고 평안하니 그 땅에는 권세 잡은 자가 없어서 무슨 일에든지 괴롭게 함이 없고 시돈 사람과 상거가 멀며 아무 사람과도 상종하지 아니함이라
  So the five men left and came to Laish, where they saw that the people were living in safety, like the Sidonians, unsuspecting and secure. And since their land lacked nothing, they were prosperous. Also, they lived a long way from the Sidonians and had no relationship with anyone else.

8. 그들이 소라와 에스다올에 돌아와서 그 형제에게 이르매 형제들이 그들에게 묻되 너희 보기에 어떠하더뇨
  When they returned to Zorah and Eshtaol, their brothers asked them, "How did you find things?"

9. 가로되 일어나서 그들을 치러 올라가자 우리가 그 땅을 본즉 매우 좋더라 너희는 가만히 있느냐 나아가서 그 땅 얻기를 게을리 말라
  They answered, "Come on, let's attack them! We have seen that the land is very good. Aren't you going to do something? Don't hesitate to go there and take it over.

10. 너희가 가면 평안한 백성을 만날 것이요 그 땅은 넓고 그 곳에는 세상에 있는 것이 하나도 부족함이 없느니라 하나님이 너희 손에 붙이셨느니라
  When you get there, you will find an unsuspecting people and a spacious land that God has put into your hands, a land that lacks nothing whatever."

11. 단 지파 가족 중 육백 명이 병기를 띠고 소라와 에스다올에서 출발하여
  Then six hundred men from the clan of the Danites, armed for battle, set out from Zorah and Eshtaol.

12. 올라가서 유다 기럇여아림에 진치니 이러므로 그 곳 이름이 오늘까지 마하네단이며 그 곳은 기럇여아림 뒤에 있더라
  On their way they set up camp near Kiriath Jearim in Judah. This is why the place west of Kiriath Jearim is called Mahaneh Dan to this day.

13. 무리가 거기서 떠나서 에브라임 산지 미가의 집에 이르니라
  From there they went on to the hill country of Ephraim and came to Micah's house.

14. 전에 라이스 땅을 탐지하러 갔던 다섯 사람이 그 형제들에게 말하여 가로되 이 집에 에봇과 드라빔과 새긴 신상과 부어 만든 신상이 있는 줄을 너희가 아느냐 그런즉 이제 너희는 마땅히 행할 것을 생각하라 하고
  Then the five men who had spied out the land of Laish said to their brothers, "Do you know that one of these houses has an ephod, other household gods, a carved image and a cast idol? Now you know what to do."

15. 다섯 사람이 그편으로 향하여 소년 레위 사람의 집 곧 미가의 집에 이르러 문안하고
  So they turned in there and went to the house of the young Levite at Micah's place and greeted him.

16. 단 자손 육백 명은 병기를 띠고 문 입구에 서니라
  The six hundred Danites, armed for battle, stood at the entrance to the gate.

17. 땅을 탐지하러 갔던 다섯 사람이 그리로 들어가서 새긴 신상과 에봇과 드라빔과 부어 만든 신상을 취할 때에 제사장은 병기를 띤 육백 명과 함께 문 입구에 섰더니
  The five men who had spied out the land went inside and took the carved image, the ephod, the other household gods and the cast idol while the priest and the six hundred armed men stood at the entrance to the gate.

18. 그 다섯 사람이 미가의 집에 들어가서 그 새긴 신상과 에봇과 드라빔과 부어 만든 신상을 취하여 내매 제사장이 그들에게 묻되 너희가 무엇을 하느냐
  When these men went into Micah's house and took the carved image, the ephod, the other household gods and the cast idol, the priest said to them, "What are you doing?"

19. 그들이 그에게 이르되 잠잠하라 네 손을 입에 대라 우리와 함께 가서 우리의 아비와 제사장이 되라 네가 한 사람의 집의 제사장이 되는 것과 이스라엘 한 지파, 한 가족의 제사장이 되는 것이 어느 것이 낫겠느냐
  They answered him, "Be quiet! Don't say a word. Come with us, and be our father and priest. Isn't it better that you serve a tribe and clan in Israel as priest rather than just one man's household?"

20. 제사장이 마음에 기뻐하여 에봇과 드라빔과 새긴 우상을 취하고 그 백성 중으로 들어가니라
  Then the priest was glad. He took the ephod, the other household gods and the carved image and went along with the people.

21. 그들이 돌이켜서 어린아이들과 가축과 물품을 앞에 두고 진행하더니
  Putting their little children, their livestock and their possessions in front of them, they turned away and left.

22. 미가의 집을 멀리 떠난 때에 미가의 이웃집 사람들이 모여서 단 자손을 따라 미쳐서는
  When they had gone some distance from Micah's house, the men who lived near Micah were called together and overtook the Danites.

23. 단 자손을 부르는지라 그들이 낯을 돌이켜 미가에게 이르되 네가 무슨 일로 이같이 모아 가지고 왔느냐
  As they shouted after them, the Danites turned and said to Micah, "What's the matter with you that you called out your men to fight?"

24. 미가가 가로되 나의 지은 신들과 제사장을 취하여 갔으니 내게 오히려 있는 것이 무엇이냐 너희가 어찌하여 나더러 무슨 일이냐 하느냐
  He replied, "You took the gods I made, and my priest, and went away. What else do I have? How can you ask, 'What's the matter with you?'"

25. 단 자손이 그에게 이르되 네 목소리를 우리에게 들리게 말라 노한 자들이 너희를 쳐서 네 생명과 네 가족의 생명을 잃게 할까 하노라 하고
  The Danites answered, "Don't argue with us, or some hot-tempered men will attack you, and you and your family will lose your lives."

26. 단 자손이 자기 길을 행한지라 미가가 단 자손이 자기보다 강한 것을 보고 돌이켜 집으로 돌아갔더라
  So the Danites went their way, and Micah, seeing that they were too strong for him, turned around and went back home.

27. 단 자손이 미가의 지은 것과 그 제사장을 취하고 라이스에 이르러 한가하고 평안한 백성을 만나 칼날로 그들을 치며 불로 그 성읍을 사르되
  Then they took what Micah had made, and his priest, and went on to Laish, against a peaceful and unsuspecting people. They attacked them with the sword and burned down their city.

28. 그들을 구원할 자가 없었으니 그 성읍이 베드르홉 가까운 골짜기에 있어서 시돈과 상거가 멀고 상종하는 사람도 없음이었더라 단 자손이 성읍을 중건하고 거기 거하며
  There was no one to rescue them because they lived a long way from Sidon and had no relationship with anyone else. The city was in a valley near Beth Rehob. The Danites rebuilt the city and settled there.

29. 이스라엘의 소생 그 조상 단의 이름을 따라 그 성읍을 단이라 하니라 그 성읍의 본 이름은 라이스더라
  They named it Dan after their forefather Dan, who was born to Israel--though the city used to be called Laish.

30. 단 자손이 자기를 위하여 그 새긴 신상을 세웠고 모세의 손자 게르손의 아들 요나단과 그 자손은 단 지파의 제사장이 되어 이 백성이 사로잡히는 날까지 이르렀더라
  There the Danites set up for themselves the idols, and Jonathan son of Gershom, the son of Moses, and his sons were priests for the tribe of Dan until the time of the captivity of the land.

31. 하나님의 집이 실로에 있을 동안에 미가의 지은 바 새긴 신상이 단 자손에게 있었더라
  They continued to use the idols Micah had made, all the time the house of God was in Shiloh.

사도행전 22

1. 부형들아 내가 지금 너희 앞에서 변명하는 말을 들으라 하더라
  "Brothers and fathers, listen now to my defense."

2. 저희가 그 히브리 방언으로 말함을 듣고 더욱 종용한지라 이어 가로되
  When they heard him speak to them in Aramaic, they became very quiet. Then Paul said:

3. 나는 유대인으로 길리기아 다소에서 났고 이 성에서 자라 가말리엘의 문하에서 우리 조상들의 율법의 엄한 교훈을 받았고 오늘 너희 모든 사람처럼 하나님께 대하여 열심하는 자라
  "I am a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city. Under Gamaliel I was thoroughly trained in the law of our fathers and was just as zealous for God as any of you are today.

4. 내가 이 도를 핍박하여 사람을 죽이기까지 하고 남녀를 결박하여 옥에 넘겼노니
  I persecuted the followers of this Way to their death, arresting both men and women and throwing them into prison,

5. 이에 대제사장과 모든 장로들이 내 증인이라 또 내가 저희에게서 다메섹 형제들에게 가는 공문을 받아 가지고 거기 있는 자들도 결박하여 예루살렘으로 끌어다가 형벌받게 하려고 가더니
  as also the high priest and all the Council can testify. I even obtained letters from them to their brothers in Damascus, and went there to bring these people as prisoners to Jerusalem to be punished.

6. 가는데 다메섹에 가까왔을 때에 오정쯤 되어 홀연히 하늘로서 큰 빛이 나를 둘러 비취매
  "About noon as I came near Damascus, suddenly a bright light from heaven flashed around me.

7. 내가 땅에 엎드러져 들으니 소리 있어 가로되 사울아 사울아 네가 왜 나를 핍박하느냐 하시거늘
  I fell to the ground and heard a voice say to me, 'Saul! Saul! Why do you persecute me?'

8. 내가 대답하되 주여 뉘시니이까 하니 가라사대 나는 네가 핍박하는 나사렛 예수라 하시더라
  "'Who are you, Lord?' I asked. "'I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you are persecuting,' he replied.

9. 나와 함께 있는 사람들이 빛은 보면서도 나더러 말하시는 이의 소리는 듣지 못하더라
  My companions saw the light, but they did not understand the voice of him who was speaking to me.

10. 내가 가로되 주여 무엇을 하리이까 주께서 가라사대 일어나 다메섹으로 들어가라 정한바 너의 모든 행할 것을 거기서 누가 이르리라 하시거늘
  "'What shall I do, Lord?' I asked. "'Get up,' the Lord said, 'and go into Damascus. There you will be told all that you have been assigned to do.'

11. 나는 그 빛의 광채를 인하여 볼 수 없게 되었으므로 나와 함께 있는 사람들의 손에 끌려 다메섹에 들어갔노라
  My companions led me by the hand into Damascus, because the brilliance of the light had blinded me.

12. 율법에 의하면 경건한 사람으로 거기 사는 모든 유대인들에게 칭찬을 듣는 아나니아라 하는 이가
  "A man named Ananias came to see me. He was a devout observer of the law and highly respected by all the Jews living there.

13. 내게 와 곁에 서서 말하되 형제 사울아 다시 보라 하거늘 즉시 그를 쳐다보았노라
  He stood beside me and said, 'Brother Saul, receive your sight!' And at that very moment I was able to see him.

14. 그가 또 가로되 우리 조상들의 하나님이 너를 택하여 너로 하여금 자기 뜻을 알게 하시며 저 의인을 보게 하시고 그 입에서 나오는 음성을 듣게 하셨으니
  "Then he said: 'The God of our fathers has chosen you to know his will and to see the Righteous One and to hear words from his mouth.

15. 네가 그를 위하여 모든 사람 앞에서 너의 보고 들은 것에 증인이 되리라
  You will be his witness to all men of what you have seen and heard.

16. 이제는 왜 주저하느뇨 일어나 주의 이름을 불러 세례를 받고 너의 죄를 씻으라 하더라
  And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name.'

17. 후에 내가 예루살렘으로 돌아와서 성전에서 기도할 때에 비몽사몽간에
  "When I returned to Jerusalem and was praying at the temple, I fell into a trance

18. 보매 주께서 내게 말씀하시되 속히 예루살렘에서 나가라 저희는 네가 내게 대하여 증거하는 말을 듣지 아니하리라 하시거늘
  and saw the Lord speaking. 'Quick!' he said to me. 'Leave Jerusalem immediately, because they will not accept your testimony about me.'

19. 내가 말하기를 주여 내가 주 믿는 사람들을 가두고 또 각 회당에서 때리고
  "'Lord,' I replied, 'these men know that I went from one synagogue to another to imprison and beat those who believe in you.

20. 또 주의 증인 스데반의 피를 흘릴 적에 내가 곁에 서서 찬성하고 그 죽이는 사람들의 옷을 지킨 줄 저희도 아나이다
  And when the blood of your martyr Stephen was shed, I stood there giving my approval and guarding the clothes of those who were killing him.'

21. 나더러 또 이르시되 떠나가라 내가 너를 멀리 이방인에게로 보내리라 하셨느니라
  "Then the Lord said to me, 'Go; I will send you far away to the Gentiles.'"

22. 이 말하는 것까지 저희가 듣다가 소리질러 가로되 이러한 놈은 세상에서 없이 하자 살려 둘 자가 아니라 하여
  The crowd listened to Paul until he said this. Then they raised their voices and shouted, "Rid the earth of him! He's not fit to live!"

23. 떠들며 옷을 벗어 던지고 티끌을 공중에 날리니
  As they were shouting and throwing off their cloaks and flinging dust into the air,

24. 천부장이 바울을 영문 안으로 데려가라 명하고 저희가 무슨 일로 그를 대하여 떠드나 알고자 하여 채찍질하며 신문하라 한대
  the commander ordered Paul to be taken into the barracks. He directed that he be flogged and questioned in order to find out why the people were shouting at him like this.

25. 가죽줄로 바울을 매니 바울이 곁에 섰는 백부장더러 이르되 너희가 로마 사람 된 자를 죄도 정치 아니하고 채찍질할 수 있느냐 하니
  As they stretched him out to flog him, Paul said to the centurion standing there, "Is it legal for you to flog a Roman citizen who hasn't even been found guilty?"

26. 백부장이 듣고 가서 천부장에게 전하여 가로되 어찌하려 하느뇨 이는 로마 사람이라 하니
  When the centurion heard this, he went to the commander and reported it. "What are you going to do?" he asked. "This man is a Roman citizen."

27. 천부장이 와서 바울에게 말하되 네가 로마 사람이냐 내게 말하라 가로되 그러하다
  The commander went to Paul and asked, "Tell me, are you a Roman citizen?" "Yes, I am," he answered.

28. 천부장이 대답하되 나는 돈을 많이 들여 이 시민권을 얻었노라 바울이 가로되 나는 나면서부터로라 하니
  Then the commander said, "I had to pay a big price for my citizenship." "But I was born a citizen," Paul replied.

29. 신문하려던 사람들이 곧 그에게서 물러가고 천부장도 그가 로마 사람인 줄 알고 또는 그 결박한 것을 인하여 두려워하니라
  Those who were about to question him withdrew immediately. The commander himself was alarmed when he realized that he had put Paul, a Roman citizen, in chains.

30. 이튿날 천부장이 무슨 일로 유대인들이 그를 송사하는지 실상을 알고자 하여 그 결박을 풀고 명하여 제사장들과 온 공회를 모으고 바울을 데리고 내려가서 저희 앞에 세우니라
  The next day, since the commander wanted to find out exactly why Paul was being accused by the Jews, he released him and ordered the chief priests and all the Sanhedrin to assemble. Then he brought Paul and had him stand before them.

예레미야 32

1. 유다 왕 시드기야의 제 십 년 곧 느부갓네살의 제 십팔 년에 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하니라
  This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD in the tenth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, which was the eighteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar.

2. 때에 바벨론 군대는 예루살렘을 에워싸고 선지자 예레미야는 유다 왕의 궁중에 있는 시위대 뜰에 갇혔으니
  The army of the king of Babylon was then besieging Jerusalem, and Jeremiah the prophet was confined in the courtyard of the guard in the royal palace of Judah.

3. 이는 그가 예언하기를 여호와의 말씀에 보라 내가 이 성을 바벨론 왕의 손에 붙이리니 그가 취할 것이며 유다 왕 시드기야는 갈대아인의 손에서 벗어나지 못하고 반드시 바벨론 왕의 손에 붙이운바 되리니 입이 입을 대하여 말하고 눈이 서로 볼 것이며 그가 시드기야를 바벨론으로 끌어가리니 시드기야가 나의 권고할때까지 거기 있으리라 나 여호와가 말하노라 너희가 갈대아인과 싸울찌라도 승리치 못하리라 하셨다 하였더니 유다 왕 시드기야가 가로되 네가 어찌 이같이 예언하였느뇨 하고 그를 가두었음이었더라
  Now Zedekiah king of Judah had imprisoned him there, saying, "Why do you prophesy as you do? You say, 'This is what the LORD says: I am about to hand this city over to the king of Babylon, and he will capture it.

4. 3절과 같음
  Zedekiah king of Judah will not escape out of the hands of the Babylonians but will certainly be handed over to the king of Babylon, and will speak with him face to face and see him with his own eyes.

5. 3절과 같음
  He will take Zedekiah to Babylon, where he will remain until I deal with him, declares the LORD. If you fight against the Babylonians, you will not succeed.'"

6. 예레미야가 가로되 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하였느니라 이르시기를
  Jeremiah said, "The word of the LORD came to me:

7. 보라 네 숙부 살룸의 아들 하나멜이 네게 와서 말하기를 너는 아나돗에 있는 내 밭을 사라 이 기업을 무를 권리가 네게 있느니라 하리라 하시더니
  Hanamel son of Shallum your uncle is going to come to you and say, 'Buy my field at Anathoth, because as nearest relative it is your right and duty to buy it.'

8. 여호와의 말씀같이 나의 숙부의 아들 하나멜이 시위대 뜰 안 내게로 와서 이르되 청하노니 너는 베냐민 땅 아나돗에 있는 나의 밭을 사라 기업의 상속권이 네게 있고 무를 권리가 네게 있으니 너를 위하여 사라 하는지라 내가 이것이 여호와의 말씀인 줄 알았으므로
  "Then, just as the LORD had said, my cousin Hanamel came to me in the courtyard of the guard and said, 'Buy my field at Anathoth in the territory of Benjamin. Since it is your right to redeem it and possess it, buy it for yourself.' "I knew that this was the word of the LORD;

9. 내 숙부의 아들 하나멜의 아나돗에 있는 밭을 사는데 은 십칠 세겔을 달아 주되
  so I bought the field at Anathoth from my cousin Hanamel and weighed out for him seventeen shekels of silver.

10. 증서를 써서 인봉하고 증인을 세우고 은을 저울에 달아 주고
  I signed and sealed the deed, had it witnessed, and weighed out the silver on the scales.

11. 법과 규례대로 인봉하고 인봉치 아니한 매매증서를 내가 취하여
  I took the deed of purchase--the sealed copy containing the terms and conditions, as well as the unsealed copy--

12. 나의 숙부의 아들 하나멜과 매매증서에 인친 증인의 앞과 시위대 뜰에 앉은 유다 모든 사람 앞에서 그 매매증서를 마세야의 손자 네리야의 아들 바룩에게 부치며
  and I gave this deed to Baruch son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, in the presence of my cousin Hanamel and of the witnesses who had signed the deed and of all the Jews sitting in the courtyard of the guard.

13. 그들의 앞에서 바룩에게 명하여 이르되
  "In their presence I gave Baruch these instructions:

14. 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말씀하시기를 너는 이 증서 곧 인봉하고 인봉치 않은 매매증서를 취하여 토기에 담아 많은 날 동안 보존케 하라
  'This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Take these documents, both the sealed and unsealed copies of the deed of purchase, and put them in a clay jar so they will last a long time.

15. 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님 내가 이같이 말하노라 사람이 이 땅에서 집과 밭과 포도원을 다시 사게 되리라 하셨다 하니라
  For this is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Houses, fields and vineyards will again be bought in this land.'

16. 내가 매매증서를 네리야의 아들 바룩에게 부친 후에 여호와께 기도하여 가로되
  "After I had given the deed of purchase to Baruch son of Neriah, I prayed to the LORD:

17. 슬프도소이다 주 여호와여 주께서 큰 능과 드신 팔로 천지를 지으셨사오니 주에게는 능치 못한 일이 없으시니이다
  "Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.

18. 주는 은혜를 천만 인에게 베푸시며 아비의 죄악을 그 후 자손의 품에 갚으시오니 크고 능하신 하나님이시요 이름은 만군의 여호와시니이다
  You show love to thousands but bring the punishment for the fathers' sins into the laps of their children after them. O great and powerful God, whose name is the LORD Almighty,

19. 주는 모략에 크시며 행사에 능하시며 인류의 모든 길에 주목하시며 그 길과 그 행위의 열매대로 보응하시나이다
  great are your purposes and mighty are your deeds. Your eyes are open to all the ways of men; you reward everyone according to his conduct and as his deeds deserve.

20. 주께서 애굽 땅에서 징조와 기사로 행하셨고 오늘까지도 이스라엘과 외인 중에 그같이 행하사 주의 이름을 오늘과 같이 되게 하셨나이다
  You performed miraculous signs and wonders in Egypt and have continued them to this day, both in Israel and among all mankind, and have gained the renown that is still yours.

21. 주께서 징조와 기사와 강한 손과 드신 팔과 큰 두려움으로 주의 백성 이스라엘을 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 내시고
  You brought your people Israel out of Egypt with signs and wonders, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm and with great terror.

22. 그들에게 주시기로 그 열조에게 맹세하신 바 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 이 땅을 그들에게 주셨으므로
  You gave them this land you had sworn to give their forefathers, a land flowing with milk and honey.

23. 그들이 들어가서 이를 차지하였거늘 주의 목소리를 청종치 아니하며 주의 도에 행치 아니하며 무릇 주께서 행하라 명하신 일을 행치 아니하였으므로 주께서 이 모든 재앙을 그들에게 내리셨나이다
  They came in and took possession of it, but they did not obey you or follow your law; they did not do what you commanded them to do. So you brought all this disaster upon them.

24. 보옵소서 이 성을 취하려 하는 자가 와서 흉벽을 쌓았고 칼과 기근과 염병으로 인하여 이 성이 이를 치는 갈대아인의 손에 붙인 바 되었으니 주의 말씀대로 되었음을 주께서 보시나이다
  "See how the siege ramps are built up to take the city. Because of the sword, famine and plague, the city will be handed over to the Babylonians who are attacking it. What you said has happened, as you now see.

25. 주 여호와여 주께서 내게 은으로 밭을 사며 증인을 세우라 하셨으나 이 성은 갈대아인의 손에 붙인 바 되었나이다
  And though the city will be handed over to the Babylonians, you, O Sovereign LORD, say to me, 'Buy the field with silver and have the transaction witnessed.'"

26. 때에 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하여 이르시되
  Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah:

27. 나는 여호와요 모든 육체의 하나님이라 내게 능치 못한 일이 있겠느냐
  "I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?

28. 그러므로 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 보라 내가 이 성을 갈대아인의 손과 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살의 손에 붙일 것인즉 그가 취할 것이라
  Therefore, this is what the LORD says: I am about to hand this city over to the Babylonians and to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, who will capture it.

29. 이 성을 치는 갈대아인이 와서 이 성읍에 불을 놓아 성과 집 곧 그 지붕에서 바알에게 분향하며 다른 신들에게 전제를 드려 나를 격노케 한 집들을 사르리니
  The Babylonians who are attacking this city will come in and set it on fire; they will burn it down, along with the houses where the people provoked me to anger by burning incense on the roofs to Baal and by pouring out drink offerings to other gods.

30. 이는 이스라엘 자손과 유다 자손이 예로부터 내 목전에 악만 행하였음이라 이스라엘 자손은 그 손으로 만든 것을 가지고 나를 격노케 한 것뿐이니라 나 여호와가 말하노라
  "The people of Israel and Judah have done nothing but evil in my sight from their youth; indeed, the people of Israel have done nothing but provoke me with what their hands have made, declares the LORD.

31. 이 성이 건설된 날부터 오늘까지 나의 노와 분을 격발하므로 내가 내 앞에서 그것을 옮기려 하노니
  From the day it was built until now, this city has so aroused my anger and wrath that I must remove it from my sight.

32. 이는 이스라엘 자손과 유다 자손이 모든 악을 행하여 내 노를 격동하였음이라 그들과 그들의 왕들과 그 방백들과 그 제사장들과 그 선지자들과 유다 사람들과 예루살렘 거민들이 다 그러하였느니라
  The people of Israel and Judah have provoked me by all the evil they have done--they, their kings and officials, their priests and prophets, the men of Judah and the people of Jerusalem.

33. 그들이 등을 내게로 향하고 얼굴을 내게로 향치 아니하며 내가 그들을 가르치되 부지런히 가르칠찌라도 그들이 교훈을 듣지 아니하며 받지 아니하고
  They turned their backs to me and not their faces; though I taught them again and again, they would not listen or respond to discipline.

34. 내 이름으로 일컬음을 받는 집에 자기들의 가증한 물건들을 세워서 그 집을 더럽게 하며
  They set up their abominable idols in the house that bears my Name and defiled it.

35. 힌놈의 아들의 골짜기에 바알의 산당을 건축하였으며 자기들의 자녀를 몰렉의 불에 지나가게 하였느니라 그들이 이런 가증한 일을 행하여 유다로 범죄케 한 것은 나의 명한 것도 아니요 내 마음에 둔 것도 아니니라
  They built high places for Baal in the Valley of Ben Hinnom to sacrifice their sons and daughters to Molech, though I never commanded, nor did it enter my mind, that they should do such a detestable thing and so make Judah sin.

36. 그러나 이스라엘의 하나님 나 여호와가 너희의 말하는 바 칼과 기근과 염병으로 인하여 바벨론 왕의 손에 붙인 바 되었다 하는 이 성에 대하여 이같이 말하노라
  "You are saying about this city, 'By the sword, famine and plague it will be handed over to the king of Babylon'; but this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says:

37. 보라 내가 노와 분과 큰 분노로 그들을 쫓아 보내었던 모든 지방에서 그들을 모아내어 이 곳으로 다시 인도하여 안전히 거하게 할 것이라
  I will surely gather them from all the lands where I banish them in my furious anger and great wrath; I will bring them back to this place and let them live in safety.

38. 그들은 내 백성이 되겠고 나는 그들의 하나님이 될 것이며
  They will be my people, and I will be their God.

39. 내가 그들에게 한 마음과 한 도를 주어 자기들과 자기 후손의 복을 위하여 항상 나를 경외하게 하고
  I will give them singleness of heart and action, so that they will always fear me for their own good and the good of their children after them.

40. 내가 그들에게 복을 주기 위하여 그들을 떠나지 아니하리라 하는 영영한 언약을 그들에게 세우고 나를 경외함을 그들의 마음에 두어 나를 떠나지 않게 하고
  I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire them to fear me, so that they will never turn away from me.

41. 내가 기쁨으로 그들에게 복을 주되 정녕히 나의 마음과 정신을 다하여 그들을 이 땅에 심으리라
  I will rejoice in doing them good and will assuredly plant them in this land with all my heart and soul.

42. 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 내가 이 백성에게 이 큰 재앙을 내린 것같이 허락한 모든 복을 그들에게 내리리라
  "This is what the LORD says: As I have brought all this great calamity on this people, so I will give them all the prosperity I have promised them.

43. 너희가 말하기를 황폐하여 사람이나 짐승이 없으며 갈대아인의 손에 붙인 바 되었다 하는 이 땅에서 사람들이 밭을 사되
  Once more fields will be bought in this land of which you say, 'It is a desolate waste, without men or animals, for it has been handed over to the Babylonians.'

44. 베냐민 땅과 예루살렘 사방과 유다 성읍들과 산지의 성읍들과 평지의 성읍들과 남방의 성읍들에 있는 밭을 은으로 사고 증서를 기록하여 인봉하고 증인을 세우리니 이는 내가 그들의 포로로 돌아오게 함이니라 여호와의 말이니라
  Fields will be bought for silver, and deeds will be signed, sealed and witnessed in the territory of Benjamin, in the villages around Jerusalem, in the towns of Judah and in the towns of the hill country, of the western foothills and of the Negev, because I will restore their fortunes, declares the LORD."

시편 1-2

1. 복 있는 사람은 악인의 꾀를 좇지 아니하며 죄인의 길에 서지 아니하며 오만한 자의 자리에 앉지 아니하고
  Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers.

2. 오직 여호와의 율법을 즐거워하여 그 율법을 주야로 묵상하는 자로다
  But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.

3. 저는 시냇가에 심은 나무가 시절을 좇아 과실을 맺으며 그 잎사귀가 마르지 아니함 같으니 그 행사가 다 형통하리로다
  He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.

4. 악인은 그렇지 않음이여 오직 바람에 나는 겨와 같도다
  Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away.

5. 그러므로 악인이 심판을 견디지 못하며 죄인이 의인의 회중에 들지 못하리로다
  Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

6. 대저 의인의 길은 여호와께서 인정하시나 악인의 길은 망하리로다
  For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.

1. 어찌하여 열방이 분노하며 민족들이 허사를 경영하는고
  Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain?

2. 세상의 군왕들이 나서며 관원들이 서로 꾀하여 여호와와 그 기름받은 자를 대적하며
  The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the LORD and against his Anointed One.

3. 우리가 그 맨 것을 끊고 그 결박을 벗어 버리자 하도다
  "Let us break their chains," they say, "and throw off their fetters."

4. 하늘에 계신 자가 웃으심이여 주께서 저희를 비웃으시리로다
  The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them.

5. 그 때에 분을 발하며 진노하사 저희를 놀래어 이르시기를
  Then he rebukes them in his anger and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,

6. 내가 나의 왕을 내 거룩한 산 시온에 세웠다 하시리로다
  "I have installed my King on Zion, my holy hill."

7. 내가 영을 전하노라 여호와께서 내게 이르시되 너는 내 아들이라 오늘날 내가 너를 낳았도다
  I will proclaim the decree of the LORD: He said to me, "You are my Son; today I have become your Father.

8. 내게 구하라 내가 열방을 유업으로 주리니 네 소유가 땅 끝까지 이르리로다
  Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.

9. 네가 철장으로 저희를 깨뜨림이여 질그릇같이 부수리라 하시도다
  You will rule them with an iron scepter; you will dash them to pieces like pottery."

10. 그런즉 군왕들아 너희는 지혜를 얻으며 세상의 관원들아 교훈을 받을지어다
  Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth.

11. 여호와를 경외함으로 섬기고 떨며 즐거워할지어다
  Serve the LORD with fear and rejoice with trembling.

12. 그 아들에게 입맞추라 그렇지 아니하면 진노하심으로 너희가 길에서 망하리니 그 진노가 급하심이라 여호와를 의지하는 자는 다 복이 있도다
  Kiss the Son, lest he be angry and you be destroyed in your way, for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.
