민수기 2

1. 여호와께서 모세와 아론에게 일러 가라사대
  The LORD said to Moses and Aaron:

2. 이스라엘 자손은 각각 그 기와 그 종족의 기호 곁에 진을 치되 회막을 사면으로 대하여 치라
  "The Israelites are to camp around the Tent of Meeting some distance from it, each man under his standard with the banners of his family."

3. 동방 해돋는 편에 진칠 자는 그 군대대로 유다의 진 기에 속한 자라 유다 자손의 족장은 암미나답의 아들 나손이요
  On the east, toward the sunrise, the divisions of the camp of Judah are to encamp under their standard. The leader of the people of Judah is Nahshon son of Amminadab.

4. 그 군대는 계수함을 입은 자 칠만 사천육백 명이며
  His division numbers 74,600.

5. 그 곁에 진칠 자는 잇사갈 지파라 잇사갈 자손의 족장은 수알의 아들 느다넬이요
  The tribe of Issachar will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Issachar is Nethanel son of Zuar.

6. 그 군대는 계수함을 입은 자 오만 사천사백 명이며
  His division numbers 54,400.

7. 또 스불론 지파라 스불론 자손의 족장은 헬론의 아들 엘리압이요
  The tribe of Zebulun will be next. The leader of the people of Zebulun is Eliab son of Helon.

8. 그 군대는 계수함을 입은 자 오만 칠천사백 명이니
  His division numbers 57,400.

9. 유다 진에 속한 군대의 계수함을 입은 군대의 총계가 십팔만 육천 사백명이라 그들은 제 일대로 진행할찌니라
  All the men assigned to the camp of Judah, according to their divisions, number 186,400. They will set out first.

10. 남편에는 르우벤 군대의 진기가 있을 것이라 르우벤 자손의 족장은 스데울의 아들 엘리술이요
  On the south will be the divisions of the camp of Reuben under their standard. The leader of the people of Reuben is Elizur son of Shedeur.

11. 그 군대는 계수함을 입은 자 사만 육천오백 명이며
  His division numbers 46,500.

12. 그 곁에 진칠 자는 시므온 지파라 시므온 자손의 족장은 수리삿대의 아들 슬루미엘이요
  The tribe of Simeon will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Simeon is Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai.

13. 그 군대는 계수함을 입은 자 오만 구천삼백 명이며
  His division numbers 59,300.

14. 또 갓 지파라 갓 자손의 족장은 르우엘의 아들 엘리아삽이요
  The tribe of Gad will be next. The leader of the people of Gad is Eliasaph son of Deuel.

15. 그 군대는 계수함을 입은 자 사만 오천육백오십 명이니
  His division numbers 45,650.

16. 르우벤 진에 속한 계수함을 입은 군대의 총계가 십오만 일천 사백 오십명이라 그들은 제 이대로 진행할찌니라
  All the men assigned to the camp of Reuben, according to their divisions, number 151,450. They will set out second.

17. 그 다음에 회막이 레위인의 진과 함께 모든 진의 중앙에 있어 진행하되 그들의 진 친 순서대로 각 사람은 그 위치에서 그 기를 따라 앞으로 행할찌니라
  Then the Tent of Meeting and the camp of the Levites will set out in the middle of the camps. They will set out in the same order as they encamp, each in his own place under his standard.

18. 서편에는 에브라임의 군대의 진기가 있을 것이라 에브라임 자손의 족장은 암미훗의 아들 엘리사마요
  On the west will be the divisions of the camp of Ephraim under their standard. The leader of the people of Ephraim is Elishama son of Ammihud.

19. 그 군대는 계수함을 입은 자 사만 오백 명이며
  His division numbers 40,500.

20. 그 곁에는 므낫세 지파가 있을 것이라 므낫세 자손의 족장은 브다술의 아들 가말리엘이요
  The tribe of Manasseh will be next to them. The leader of the people of Manasseh is Gamaliel son of Pedahzur.

21. 그 군대는 계수함을 입은 자 삼만 이천이백 명이며
  His division numbers 32,200.

22. 또 베냐민 지파라 베냐민 자손의 족장은 기드오니의 아들 아비단이요
  The tribe of Benjamin will be next. The leader of the people of Benjamin is Abidan son of Gideoni.

23. 그 군대는 계수함을 입은 자 삼만 오천사백 명이니
  His division numbers 35,400.

24. 에브라임 진에 속한 계수함을 입은 군대의 총계가 십만 팔천 일백명이라 그들은 제 삼대로 진행할찌니라
  All the men assigned to the camp of Ephraim, according to their divisions, number 108,100. They will set out third.

25. 북편에는 단 군대의 진기가 있을 것이라 단 자손의 족장은 암미삿대의 아들 아히에셀이요
  On the north will be the divisions of the camp of Dan, under their standard. The leader of the people of Dan is Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai.

26. 그 군대는 계수함을 입은 자 육만 이천칠백 명이며
  His division numbers 62,700.

27. 그 곁에 진칠 자는 아셀 지파라 아셀 자손의 족장은 오그란의 아들 바기엘이요
  The tribe of Asher will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Asher is Pagiel son of Ocran.

28. 그 군대는 계수함을 입은 자 사만 일천오백 명이며
  His division numbers 41,500.

29. 또 납달리 지파라 납달리 자손의 족장은 에난의 아들 아히라요
  The tribe of Naphtali will be next. The leader of the people of Naphtali is Ahira son of Enan.

30. 그 군대는 계수함을 입은 자 오만 삼천사백 명이니
  His division numbers 53,400.

31. 단의 진에 속한 계수함을 입은 군대의 총계가 십오만 칠천 육백명이라 그들은 기를 따라 후대로 진행할찌니라 하시니라
  All the men assigned to the camp of Dan number 157,600. They will set out last, under their standards.

32. 이상은 이스라엘 자손이 그 종족을 따라 계수함을 입은 자니 모든 진의 군대 곧 계수함을 입은 자의 총계가 육십만 삼천오백오십 명이었으며
  These are the Israelites, counted according to their families. All those in the camps, by their divisions, number 603,550.

33. 레위인은 이스라엘 자손과 함께 계수되지 아니하였으니 여호와께서 모세에게 명하심과 같았느니라
  The Levites, however, were not counted along with the other Israelites, as the LORD commanded Moses.

34. 이스라엘 자손이 여호와께서 모세에게 명하신 대로 다 준행하여 각기 가족과 종족을 따르며 그 기를 따라 진치기도 하며 진행하기도 하였더라
  So the Israelites did everything the LORD commanded Moses; that is the way they encamped under their standards, and that is the way they set out, each with his clan and family.

시편 36

1. 악인의 죄얼이 내 마음에 이르기를 그 목전에는 하나님을 두려워함이 없다 하니
  For the director of music. Of David the servant of the LORD. An oracle is within my heart concerning the sinfulness of the wicked: There is no fear of God before his eyes.

2. 저가 스스로 자긍하기를 자기 죄악이 드러나지 아니하고 미워함을 받지도 아니하리라 함이로다
  For in his own eyes he flatters himself too much to detect or hate his sin.

3. 그 입의 말은 죄악과 궤휼이라 지혜와 선행을 그쳤도다
  The words of his mouth are wicked and deceitful; he has ceased to be wise and to do good.

4. 저는 그 침상에서 죄악을 꾀하며 스스로 불선한 길에 서고 악을 싫어하지 아니하는도다
  Even on his bed he plots evil; he commits himself to a sinful course and does not reject what is wrong.

5. 여호와여 주의 인자하심이 하늘에 있고 주의 성실하심이 공중에 사무쳤으며
  Your love, O LORD, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies.

6. 주의 의는 하나님의 산들과 같고 주의 판단은 큰 바다와 일반이라 여호와여 주는 사람과 짐승을 보호하시나이다
  Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your justice like the great deep. O LORD, you preserve both man and beast.

7. 하나님이여 주의 인자하심이 어찌 그리 보배로우신지요 인생이 주의 날개 그늘 아래 피하나이다
  How priceless is your unfailing love! Both high and low among men find refuge in the shadow of your wings.

8. 저희가 주의 집의 살찐 것으로 풍족할 것이라 주께서 주의 복락의 강수로 마시우시리이다
  They feast on the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights.

9. 대저 생명의 원천이 주께 있사오니 주의 광명 중에 우리가 광명을 보리이다
  For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.

10. 주를 아는 자에게 주의 인자하심을 계속하시며 마음이 정직한 자에게 주의 의를 베푸소서
  Continue your love to those who know you, your righteousness to the upright in heart.

11. 교만한 자의 발이 내게 미치지 못하게 하시며 악인의 손이 나를 쫓아내지 못하게 하소서
  May the foot of the proud not come against me, nor the hand of the wicked drive me away.

12. 죄악을 행하는 자가 거기 넘어졌으니 엎드러지고 다시 일어날 수 없으리이다
  See how the evildoers lie fallen--thrown down, not able to rise!

■ 혼자 읽기

전도서 12

1. 너는 청년의 때 곧 곤고한 날이 이르기 전, 나는 아무 낙이 없다고 할 해가 가깝기 전에 너의 창조자를 기억하라
  Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, "I find no pleasure in them"--

2. 해와 빛과 달과 별들이 어둡기 전에, 비 뒤에 구름이 다시 일어나기 전에 그리하라
  before the sun and the light and the moon and the stars grow dark, and the clouds return after the rain;

3. 그런 날에는 집을 지키는 자들이 떨 것이며 힘있는 자들이 구부러질 것이며 맷돌질하는 자들이 적으므로 그칠 것이며 창들로 내어다 보는 자가 어두워질 것이며
  when the keepers of the house tremble, and the strong men stoop, when the grinders cease because they are few, and those looking through the windows grow dim;

4. 길거리 문들이 닫혀질 것이며 맷돌 소리가 적어질 것이며 새의 소리를 인하여 일어날 것이며 음악하는 여자들은 다 쇠하여질 것이며
  when the doors to the street are closed and the sound of grinding fades; when men rise up at the sound of birds, but all their songs grow faint;

5. 그런 자들은 높은 곳을 두려워할 것이며 길에서는 놀랄 것이며 살구나무가 꽃이 필 것이며 메뚜기도 짐이 될 것이며 원욕이 그치리니 이는 사람이 자기 영원한 집으로 돌아가고 조문자들이 거리로 왕래하게 됨이라
  when men are afraid of heights and of dangers in the streets; when the almond tree blossoms and the grasshopper drags himself along and desire no longer is stirred. Then man goes to his eternal home and mourners go about the streets.

6. 은줄이 풀리고 금그릇이 깨어지고 항아리가 샘 곁에서 깨어지고 바퀴가 우물 위에서 깨어지고
  Remember him--before the silver cord is severed, or the golden bowl is broken; before the pitcher is shattered at the spring, or the wheel broken at the well,

7. 흙은 여전히 땅으로 돌아가고 신은 그 주신 하나님께로 돌아가기 전에 기억하라
  and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.

8. 전도자가 가로되 헛되고 헛되도다 모든 것이 헛되도다
  "Meaningless! Meaningless!" says the Teacher. "Everything is meaningless!"

9. 전도자가 지혜로움으로 여전히 백성에게 지식을 가르쳤고 또 묵상하고 궁구하여 잠언을 많이 지었으며
  Not only was the Teacher wise, but also he imparted knowledge to the people. He pondered and searched out and set in order many proverbs.

10. 전도자가 힘써 아름다운 말을 구하였나니 기록한 것은 정직하여 진리의 말씀이니라
  The Teacher searched to find just the right words, and what he wrote was upright and true.

11. 지혜자의 말씀은 찌르는 채찍 같고 회중의 스승의 말씀은 잘 박힌 못 같으니 다 한 목자의 주신 바니라
  The words of the wise are like goads, their collected sayings like firmly embedded nails--given by one Shepherd.

12. 내 아들아 또 경계를 받으라 여러 책을 짓는 것은 끝이 없고 많이 공부하는 것은 몸을 피곤케 하느니라
  Be warned, my son, of anything in addition to them. Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body.

13. 일의 결국을 다 들었으니 하나님을 경외하고 그 명령을 지킬찌어다 이것이 사람의 본분이니라
  Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.

14. 하나님은 모든 행위와 모든 은밀한 일을 선악간에 심판하시리라
  For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.

빌레몬서 1

1. 그리스도 예수를 위하여 갇힌 자 된 바울과 및 형제 디모데는 우리의 사랑을 받는 자요 동역자인 빌레몬과
  Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy our brother, To Philemon our dear friend and fellow worker,

2. 및 자매 압비아와 및 우리와 함께 군사 된 아킵보와 네 집에 있는 교회에게 편지하노니
  to Apphia our sister, to Archippus our fellow soldier and to the church that meets in your home:

3. 하나님 우리 아버지와 주 예수 그리스도로 좇아 은혜와 평강이 너희에게 있을찌어다
  Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

4. 내가 항상 내 하나님께 감사하고 기도할 때에 너를 말함은
  I always thank my God as I remember you in my prayers,

5. 주 예수와 및 모든 성도에 대한 네 사랑과 믿음이 있음을 들음이니
  because I hear about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints.

6. 이로써 네 믿음의 교제가 우리 가운데 있는 선을 알게 하고 그리스도께 미치도록 역사하느니라
  I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ.

7. 형제여 성도들의 마음이 너로 말미암아 평안함을 얻었으니 내가 너의 사랑으로 많은 기쁨과 위로를 얻었노라
  Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the saints.

8. 이러므로 내가 그리스도 안에서 많은 담력을 가지고 네게 마땅한 일로 명할 수 있으나
  Therefore, although in Christ I could be bold and order you to do what you ought to do,

9. 사랑을 인하여 도리어 간구하노니 나이 많은 나 바울은 지금 또 예수 그리스도를 위하여 갇힌 자 되어
  yet I appeal to you on the basis of love. I then, as Paul--an old man and now also a prisoner of Christ Jesus--

10. 갇힌 중에서 낳은 아들 오네시모를 위하여 네게 간구하노라
  I appeal to you for my son Onesimus, who became my son while I was in chains.

11. 저가 전에는 네게 무익하였으나 이제는 나와 네게 유익하므로
  Formerly he was useless to you, but now he has become useful both to you and to me.

12. 네게 저를 돌려보내노니 저는 내 심복이라
  I am sending him--who is my very heart--back to you.

13. 저를 내게 머물러 두어 내 복음을 위하여 갇힌 중에서 네 대신 나를 섬기게 하고자 하나
  I would have liked to keep him with me so that he could take your place in helping me while I am in chains for the gospel.

14. 다만 네 승낙이 없이는 내가 아무것도 하기를 원치 아니하노니 이는 너의 선한 일이 억지같이 되지 아니하고 자의로 되게 하려 함이로라
  But I did not want to do anything without your consent, so that any favor you do will be spontaneous and not forced.

15. 저가 잠시 떠나게 된 것은 이를 인하여 저를 영원히 두게 함이니
  Perhaps the reason he was separated from you for a little while was that you might have him back for good--

16. 이후로는 종과 같이 아니하고 종에서 뛰어나 곧 사랑받는 형제로 둘 자라 내게 특별히 그러하거든 하물며 육신과 주 안에서 상관된 네게랴
  no longer as a slave, but better than a slave, as a dear brother. He is very dear to me but even dearer to you, both as a man and as a brother in the Lord.

17. 그러므로 네가 나를 동무로 알찐대 저를 영접하기를 내게 하듯하고
  So if you consider me a partner, welcome him as you would welcome me.

18. 저가 만일 네게 불의를 하였거나 네게 진 것이 있거든 이것을 내게로 회계하라
  If he has done you any wrong or owes you anything, charge it to me.

19. 나 바울이 친필로 쓰노니 내가 갚으려니와 너는 이 외에 네 자신으로 내게 빚진 것을 내가 말하지 아니하노라
  I, Paul, am writing this with my own hand. I will pay it back--not to mention that you owe me your very self.

20. 오 형제여! 나로 주 안에서 너를 인하여 기쁨을 얻게 하고 내 마음이 그리스도 안에서 평안하게 하라
  I do wish, brother, that I may have some benefit from you in the Lord; refresh my heart in Christ.

21. 나는 네가 순종함을 확신하므로 네게 썼노니 네가 나의 말보다 더 행할 줄을 아노라
  Confident of your obedience, I write to you, knowing that you will do even more than I ask.

22. 오직 너는 나를 위하여 처소를 예비하라 너희 기도로 내가 너희에게 나아가게 하여 주시기를 바라노라
  And one thing more: Prepare a guest room for me, because I hope to be restored to you in answer to your prayers.

23. 그리스도 예수 안에서 나와 함께 갇힌 자 에바브라와
  Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus, sends you greetings.

24. 또한 나의 동역자 마가, 아리스다고, 데마, 누가가 문안하느니라
  And so do Mark, Aristarchus, Demas and Luke, my fellow workers.

25. 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 은혜가 너희 심령과 함께 할찌어다
  The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
