레위기 23

1. 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
  The LORD said to Moses,

2. 이스라엘 자손에게 고하여 이르라 너희가 공포하여 성회를 삼을 여호와의 절기는 이러하니라
  "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'These are my appointed feasts, the appointed feasts of the LORD, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies.

3. 엿새 동안은 일할 것이요 일곱째 날은 쉴 안식일이니 성회라 너희는 무슨 일이든지 하지 말라 이는 너희 거하는 각처에서 지킬 여호와의 안식일이니라
  "'There are six days when you may work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of rest, a day of sacred assembly. You are not to do any work; wherever you live, it is a Sabbath to the LORD.

4. 기한에 미쳐 너희가 공포하여 성회로 삼을 여호와의 절기는 이러하니라
  "'These are the LORD'S appointed feasts, the sacred assemblies you are to proclaim at their appointed times:

5. 정월 십사일 저녁은 여호와의 유월절이요
  The LORD'S Passover begins at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month.

6. 이 달 십오일은 여호와의 무교절이니 칠 일 동안 너희는 무교병을 먹을 것이요
  On the fifteenth day of that month the LORD'S Feast of Unleavened Bread begins; for seven days you must eat bread made without yeast.

7. 그 첫날에는 너희가 성회로 모이고 아무 노동도 하지 말찌며
  On the first day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.

8. 너희는 칠일 동안 여호와께 화제를 드릴 것이요 제 칠일에도 성회로 모이고 아무 노동도 하지 말찌니라
  For seven days present an offering made to the LORD by fire. And on the seventh day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.'"

9. 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
  The LORD said to Moses,

10. 이스라엘 자손에게 고하여 이르라 너희는 내가 너희에게 주는 땅에 들어가서 너희의 곡물을 거둘 때에 위선 너희의 곡물의 첫 이삭 한 단을 제사장에게로 가져갈 것이요
  "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'When you enter the land I am going to give you and you reap its harvest, bring to the priest a sheaf of the first grain you harvest.

11. 제사장은 너희를 위하여 그 단을 여호와 앞에 열납되도록 흔들되 안식일 이튿날에 흔들 것이며
  He is to wave the sheaf before the LORD so it will be accepted on your behalf; the priest is to wave it on the day after the Sabbath.

12. 너희가 그 단을 흔드는 날에 일년 되고 흠 없는 수양을 번제로 여호와께 드리고
  On the day you wave the sheaf, you must sacrifice as a burnt offering to the LORD a lamb a year old without defect,

13. 그 소제로는 기름 섞은 고운 가루 에바 십분 이를 여호와께 드려 화제를 삼아 향기로운 냄새가 되게 하고 전제로는 포도주 힌 사분 일을 쓸 것이며
  together with its grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil--an offering made to the LORD by fire, a pleasing aroma--and its drink offering of a quarter of a hin of wine.

14. 너희는 너희 하나님께 예물을 가져오는 그날까지 떡이든지 볶은 곡식이든지 생 이삭이든지 먹지 말찌니 이는 너희가 그 거하는 각처에서 대대로 지킬 영원한 규례니라
  You must not eat any bread, or roasted or new grain, until the very day you bring this offering to your God. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live.

15. 안식일 이튿날 곧 너희가 요제로 단을 가져온 날부터 세어서 칠 안식일의 수효를 채우고
  "'From the day after the Sabbath, the day you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, count off seven full weeks.

16. 제 칠 안식일 이튿날까지 합 오십 일을 계수하여 새 소제를 여호와께 드리되
  Count off fifty days up to the day after the seventh Sabbath, and then present an offering of new grain to the LORD.

17. 너희 처소에서 에바 십분 이로 만든 떡 두 개를 가져다가 흔들찌니 이는 고운 가루에 누룩을 넣어서 구운 것이요 이는 첫 요제로 여호와께 드리는 것이며
  From wherever you live, bring two loaves made of two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour, baked with yeast, as a wave offering of firstfruits to the LORD.

18. 너희는 또 이 떡과 함께 일년 되고 흠 없는 어린 양 일곱과 젊은 수소 하나와 수양 둘을 드리되 이들을 그 소제와 그 전제와 함께 여호와께 드려서 번제를 삼을찌니 이는 화제라 여호와께 향기로운 냄새며
  Present with this bread seven male lambs, each a year old and without defect, one young bull and two rams. They will be a burnt offering to the LORD, together with their grain offerings and drink offerings--an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.

19. 또 수염소 하나로 속죄제를 드리며 일년 된 어린 수양 둘을 화목제 희생으로 드릴 것이요
  Then sacrifice one male goat for a sin offering and two lambs, each a year old, for a fellowship offering.

20. 제사장은 그 첫 이삭의 떡과 함께 그 두 어린 양을 여호와 앞에 흔들어 요제를 삼을 것이요 이것들은 여호와께 드리는 성물인즉 제사장에게 돌릴 것이며
  The priest is to wave the two lambs before the LORD as a wave offering, together with the bread of the firstfruits. They are a sacred offering to the LORD for the priest.

21. 이 날에 너희는 너희 중에 성회를 공포하고 아무 노동도 하지 말찌니 이는 너희가 그 거하는 각처에서 대대로 지킬 영원한 규례니라
  On that same day you are to proclaim a sacred assembly and do no regular work. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live.

22. 너희 땅의 곡물을 벨 때에 밭 모퉁이까지 다 베지 말며 떨어진 것을 줍지 말고 너는 그것을 가난한 자와 객을 위하여 버려 두라 나는 너희 하나님 여호와니라
  "'When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Leave them for the poor and the alien. I am the LORD your God.'"

23. 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
  The LORD said to Moses,

24. 이스라엘 자손에게 고하여 이르라 칠월 곧 그 달 일일로 안식일을 삼을찌니 이는 나팔을 불어 기념할 날이요 성회라
  "Say to the Israelites: 'On the first day of the seventh month you are to have a day of rest, a sacred assembly commemorated with trumpet blasts.

25. 아무 노동도 하지 말고 여호와께 화제를 드릴찌니라
  Do no regular work, but present an offering made to the LORD by fire.'"

26. 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
  The LORD said to Moses,

27. 칠월 십일은 속죄일이니 너희에게 성회라 너희는 스스로 괴롭게 하며 여호와께 화제를 드리고
  "The tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. Hold a sacred assembly and deny yourselves, and present an offering made to the LORD by fire.

28. 이 날에는 아무 일도 하지 말 것은 너희를 위하여 너희 하나님 여호와 앞에 속죄할 속죄일이 됨이니라
  Do no work on that day, because it is the Day of Atonement, when atonement is made for you before the LORD your God.

29. 이 날에 스스로 괴롭게 하지 아니하는 자는 그 백성 중에서 끊쳐질 것이라
  Anyone who does not deny himself on that day must be cut off from his people.

30. 이 날에 누구든지 아무 일이나 하는 자는 내가 백성 중에서 멸절시키리니
  I will destroy from among his people anyone who does any work on that day.

31. 너희는 아무 일이든지 하지 말라 이는 너희가 그 거하는 각처에서 대대로 지킬 영원한 규례니라
  You shall do no work at all. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live.

32. 이는 너희의 쉴 안식일이라 너희는 스스로 괴롭게 하고 이 달 구일 저녁 곧 그 저녁부터 이튿날 저녁까지 안식을 지킬찌니라
  It is a sabbath of rest for you, and you must deny yourselves. From the evening of the ninth day of the month until the following evening you are to observe your sabbath."

33. 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
  The LORD said to Moses,

34. 이스라엘 자손에게 고하여 이르라 칠월 십오일은 초막절이니 여호와를 위하여 칠 일 동안 지킬 것이라
  "Say to the Israelites: 'On the fifteenth day of the seventh month the LORD'S Feast of Tabernacles begins, and it lasts for seven days.

35. 첫날에는 성회가 있을찌니 너희는 아무 노동도 하지 말찌며
  The first day is a sacred assembly; do no regular work.

36. 칠일 동안에 너희는 화제를 여호와께 드릴 것이요 제 팔일에도 너희에게 성회가 될것이며 화제를 여호와께 드릴찌니 이는 거룩한 대회라 너희는 아무 노동도 하지 말찌니라
  For seven days present offerings made to the LORD by fire, and on the eighth day hold a sacred assembly and present an offering made to the LORD by fire. It is the closing assembly; do no regular work.

37. 이것들은 여호와의 절기라 너희는 공포하여 성회를 삼고 번제와 소제와 희생과 전제를 각각 그 날에 여호와께 화제로 드릴찌니
  ("'These are the LORD'S appointed feasts, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies for bringing offerings made to the LORD by fire--the burnt offerings and grain offerings, sacrifices and drink offerings required for each day.

38. 이는 여호와의 안식일 외에, 너희의 헌물 외에, 너희의 모든 서원 예물 외에, 너희의 모든 낙헌 예물 외에 너희가 여호와께 드리는 것이니라
  These offerings are in addition to those for the LORD'S Sabbaths and in addition to your gifts and whatever you have vowed and all the freewill offerings you give to the LORD.)

39. 너희가 토지 소산 거두기를 마치거든 칠월 십오일부터 칠 일 동안 여호와의 절기를 지키되 첫날에도 안식하고 제 팔 일에도 안식할 것이요
  "'So beginning with the fifteenth day of the seventh month, after you have gathered the crops of the land, celebrate the festival to the LORD for seven days; the first day is a day of rest, and the eighth day also is a day of rest.

40. 첫날에는 너희가 아름다운 나무 실과와 종려 가지와 무성한 가지와 시내 버들을 취하여 너희 하나님 여호와 앞에서 칠 일 동안 즐거워할 것이라
  On the first day you are to take choice fruit from the trees, and palm fronds, leafy branches and poplars, and rejoice before the LORD your God for seven days.

41. 너희는 매년에 칠일 동안 여호와께 이 절기를 지킬찌니 너희 대대로의 영원한 규례라 너희는 칠월에 이를 지킬찌니라
  Celebrate this as a festival to the LORD for seven days each year. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come; celebrate it in the seventh month.

42. 너희는 칠일 동안 초막에 거하되 이스라엘에서 난 자는 다 초막에 거할찌니
  Live in booths for seven days: All native-born Israelites are to live in booths

43. 이는 내가 이스라엘 자손을 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 내던 때에 초막에 거하게 한 줄을 너희 대대로 알게 함이니라 나는 너희 하나님 여호와니라
  so your descendants will know that I had the Israelites live in booths when I brought them out of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.'"

44. 모세가 여호와의 절기를 이스라엘 자손에게 공포하였더라
  So Moses announced to the Israelites the appointed feasts of the LORD.

시편 30

1. 여호와여 내가 주를 높일 것은 주께서 나를 끌어내사 내 대적으로 나를 인하여 기뻐하지 못하게 하심이니이다
  A psalm. A song. For the dedication of the temple. Of David. I will exalt you, O LORD, for you lifted me out of the depths and did not let my enemies gloat over me.

2. 여호와 내 하나님이여 내가 주께 부르짖으매 나를 고치셨나이다
  O LORD my God, I called to you for help and you healed me.

3. 여호와여 주께서 내 영혼을 음부에서 끌어내어 나를 살리사 무덤으로 내려가지 않게 하셨나이다
  O LORD, you brought me up from the grave; you spared me from going down into the pit.

4. 주의 성도들아 여호와를 찬송하며 그 거룩한 이름에 감사할찌어다
  Sing to the LORD, you saints of his; praise his holy name.

5. 그 노염은 잠간이요 그 은총은 평생이로다 저녁에는 울음이 기숙할찌라도 아침에는 기쁨이 오리로다
  For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.

6. 내가 형통할 때에 말하기를 영영히 요동치 아니하리라 하였도다
  When I felt secure, I said, "I will never be shaken."

7. 여호와께서 주의 은혜로 내 산을 굳게 세우셨더니 주의 얼굴을 가리우시매 내가 근심하였나이다
  O LORD, when you favored me, you made my mountain stand firm; but when you hid your face, I was dismayed.

8. 여호와여 내가 주께 부르짖고 여호와께 간구하기를
  To you, O LORD, I called; to the Lord I cried for mercy:

9. 내가 무덤에 내려갈 때에 나의 피가 무슨 유익이 있으리요 어찌 진토가 주를 찬송하며 주의 진리를 선포하리이까
  "What gain is there in my destruction, in my going down into the pit? Will the dust praise you? Will it proclaim your faithfulness?

10. 여호와여 들으시고 나를 긍휼히 여기소서 여호와여 나의 돕는 자가 되소서 하였나이다
  Hear, O LORD, and be merciful to me; O LORD, be my help."

11. 주께서 나의 슬픔을 변하여 춤이 되게 하시며 나의 베옷을 벗기고 기쁨으로 띠 띠우셨나이다
  You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,

12. 이는 잠잠치 아니하고 내 영광으로 주를 찬송케 하심이니 여호와 나의 하나님이여 내가 주께 영영히 감사하리이다
  that my heart may sing to you and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give you thanks forever.

전도서 6

1. 내가 해 아래서 한 가지 폐단 있는 것을 보았나니 이는 사람에게 중한 것이라
  I have seen another evil under the sun, and it weighs heavily on men:

2. 어떤 사람은 그 심령의 모든 소원에 부족함이 없어 재물과 부요와 존귀를 하나님께 받았으나 능히 누리게 하심을 얻지 못하였으므로 다른 사람이 누리나니 이것도 헛되어 악한 병이로다
  God gives a man wealth, possessions and honor, so that he lacks nothing his heart desires, but God does not enable him to enjoy them, and a stranger enjoys them instead. This is meaningless, a grievous evil.

3. 사람이 비록 일백 자녀를 낳고 또 장수하여 사는 날이 많을찌라도 그 심령에 낙이 족하지 못하고 또 그 몸이 매장되지 못하면 나는 이르기를 낙태된 자가 저보다 낫다 하노니
  A man may have a hundred children and live many years; yet no matter how long he lives, if he cannot enjoy his prosperity and does not receive proper burial, I say that a stillborn child is better off than he.

4. 낙태된 자는 헛되이 왔다가 어두운 중에 가매 그 이름이 어두움에 덮이니
  It comes without meaning, it departs in darkness, and in darkness its name is shrouded.

5. 햇빛을 보지 못하고 알지 못하나 이가 저보다 평안함이라
  Though it never saw the sun or knew anything, it has more rest than does that man--

6. 저가 비록 천년의 갑절을 산다 할찌라도 낙을 누리지 못하면 마침내 다 한곳으로 돌아가는 것뿐이 아니냐
  even if he lives a thousand years twice over but fails to enjoy his prosperity. Do not all go to the same place?

7. 사람의 수고는 다 그 입을 위함이나 그 식욕은 차지 아니하느니라
  All man's efforts are for his mouth, yet his appetite is never satisfied.

8. 지혜자가 우매자보다 나은 것이 무엇이뇨 인생 앞에서 행할 줄을 아는 가난한 자는 무엇이 유익한고
  What advantage has a wise man over a fool? What does a poor man gain by knowing how to conduct himself before others?

9. 눈으로 보는 것이 심령의 공상보다 나으나 이것도 헛되어 바람을 잡으려는 것이로다
  Better what the eye sees than the roving of the appetite. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.

10. 이미 있는 무엇이든지 오래 전부터 그 이름이 칭한 바 되었으며 사람이 무엇인지도 이미 안 바 되었나니 자기보다 강한 자와 능히 다툴 수 없느니라
  Whatever exists has already been named, and what man is has been known; no man can contend with one who is stronger than he.

11. 헛된 것을 더하게 하는 많은 일이 있나니 사람에게 무엇이 유익하랴
  The more the words, the less the meaning, and how does that profit anyone?

12. 헛된 생명의 모든 날을 그림자같이 보내는 일평생에 사람에게 무엇이 낙인지 누가 알며 그 신후에 해 아래서 무슨 일이 있을 것을 누가 능히 그에게 고하리요
  For who knows what is good for a man in life, during the few and meaningless days he passes through like a shadow? Who can tell him what will happen under the sun after he is gone?

디모데후서 2

1. 내 아들아 그러므로 네가 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 은혜 속에서 강하고
  You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

2. 또 네가 많은 증인 앞에서 내게 들은 바를 충성된 사람들에게 부탁하라 저희가 또 다른 사람들을 가르칠 수 있으리라
  And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.

3. 네가 그리스도 예수의 좋은 군사로 나와 함께 고난을 받을찌니
  Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.

4. 군사로 다니는 자는 자기 생활에 얽매이는 자가 하나도 없나니 이는 군사로 모집한 자를 기쁘게 하려 함이라
  No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs--he wants to please his commanding officer.

5. 경기하는 자가 법대로 경기하지 아니하면 면류관을 얻지 못할 것이며
  Similarly, if anyone competes as an athlete, he does not receive the victor's crown unless he competes according to the rules.

6. 수고하는 농부가 곡식을 먼저 받는 것이 마땅하니라
  The hardworking farmer should be the first to receive a share of the crops.

7. 내 말하는 것을 생각하라 주께서 범사에 네게 총명을 주시리라
  Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this.

8. 나의 복음과 같이 다윗의 씨로 죽은 자 가운데서 다시 살으신 예수 그리스도를 기억하라
  Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David. This is my gospel,

9. 복음을 인하여 내가 죄인과 같이 매이는 데까지 고난을 받았으나 하나님의 말씀은 매이지 아니하니라
  for which I am suffering even to the point of being chained like a criminal. But God's word is not chained.

10. 그러므로 내가 택하신 자를 위하여 모든 것을 참음은 저희로도 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 구원을 영원한 영광과 함께 얻게 하려 함이로라
  Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory.

11. 미쁘다 이 말이여, 우리가 주와 함께 죽었으면 또한 함께 살 것이요
  Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with him, we will also live with him;

12. 참으면 또한 함께 왕 노릇 할 것이요 우리가 주를 부인하면 주도 우리를 부인하실 것이라
  if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us;

13. 우리는 미쁨이 없을찌라도 주는 일향 미쁘시니 자기를 부인하실 수 없으시리라
  if we are faithless, he will remain faithful, for he cannot disown himself.

14. 너는 저희로 이 일을 기억하게 하여 말다툼을 하지 말라고 하나님 앞에서 엄히 명하라 이는 유익이 하나도 없고 도리어 듣는 자들을 망하게 함이니라
  Keep reminding them of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen.

15. 네가 진리의 말씀을 옳게 분변하며 부끄러울 것이 없는 일군으로 인정된 자로 자신을 하나님 앞에 드리기를 힘쓰라
  Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.

16. 망령되고 헛된 말을 버리라 저희는 경건치 아니함에 점점 나아가나니
  Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly.

17. 저희 말은 독한 창질의 썩어져감과 같은데 그 중에 후메내오와 빌레도가 있느니라
  Their teaching will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus,

18. 진리에 관하여는 저희가 그릇되었도다 부활이 이미 지나갔다 하므로 어떤 사람들의 믿음을 무너뜨리느니라
  who have wandered away from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some.

19. 그러나 하나님의 견고한 터는 섰으니 인침이 있어 일렀으되 주께서 자기 백성을 아신다 하며 또 주의 이름을 부르는 자마다 불의에서 떠날찌어다 하였느니라
  Nevertheless, God's solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: "The Lord knows those who are his," and, "Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness."

20. 큰 집에는 금과 은의 그릇이 있을 뿐 아니요 나무와 질그릇도 있어 귀히 쓰는 것도 있고 천히 쓰는 것도 있나니
  In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for noble purposes and some for ignoble.

21. 그러므로 누구든지 이런 것에서 자기를 깨끗하게 하면 귀히 쓰는 그릇이 되어 거룩하고 주인의 쓰심에 합당하며 모든 선한 일에 예비함이 되리라
  If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.

22. 또한 네가 청년의 정욕을 피하고 주를 깨끗한 마음으로 부르는 자들과 함께 의와 믿음과 사랑과 화평을 좇으라
  Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

23. 어리석고 무식한 변론을 버리라 이에서 다툼이 나는 줄 앎이라
  Don't have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels.

24. 마땅히 주의 종은 다투지 아니하고 모든 사람을 대하여 온유하며 가르치기를 잘하며 참으며
  And the Lord's servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.

25. 거역하는 자를 온유함으로 징계할찌니 혹 하나님이 저희에게 회개함을 주사 진리를 알게 하실까 하며
  Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth,

26. 저희로 깨어 마귀의 올무에서 벗어나 하나님께 사로잡힌 바 되어 그 뜻을 좇게 하실까 함이라
  and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.
