레위기 7

1. 속건제의 규례는 이러하니라 이는 지극히 거룩하니
  "'These are the regulations for the guilt offering, which is most holy:

2. 번제 희생을 잡는 곳에서 속건제의 희생을 잡을 것이요 제사장은 그 피를 단 사면에 뿌릴 것이며
  The guilt offering is to be slaughtered in the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered, and its blood is to be sprinkled against the altar on all sides.

3. 그 모든 기름을 드리되 곧 그 기름진 꼬리와 내장에 덮인 기름과
  All its fat shall be offered: the fat tail and the fat that covers the inner parts,

4. 두 콩팥과 그 위의 기름 곧 허리 근방에 있는 것과 간에 덮인 꺼풀을 콩팥과 함께 취하고
  both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the covering of the liver, which is to be removed with the kidneys.

5. 제사장은 그것을 다 단 위에 불살라 여호와께 화제로 드릴 것이니라 이는 속건제요
  The priest shall burn them on the altar as an offering made to the LORD by fire. It is a guilt offering.

6. 지극히 거룩하니 이것을 제사장의 남자마다 먹되 거룩한 곳에서 먹을찌며
  Any male in a priest's family may eat it, but it must be eaten in a holy place; it is most holy.

7. 속건제나 속죄제는 일례니 그 제육은 속하는 제사장에게로 돌아갈 것이요
  "'The same law applies to both the sin offering and the guilt offering: They belong to the priest who makes atonement with them.

8. 사람의 번제를 드리는 제사장 곧 그 제사장은 그 드린 번제물의 가죽을 자기가 얻을 것이며
  The priest who offers a burnt offering for anyone may keep its hide for himself.

9. 무릇 화덕에 구운 소제물과 솥에나 번철에 만든 소제물은 그 드린 제사장에게로 돌아갈 것이니
  Every grain offering baked in an oven or cooked in a pan or on a griddle belongs to the priest who offers it,

10. 무릇 소제물은 기름 섞은 것이나 마른 것이나 아론의 모든 자손이 평균히 분배할 것이니라
  and every grain offering, whether mixed with oil or dry, belongs equally to all the sons of Aaron.

11. 여호와께 드릴 화목제 희생의 규례는 이러하니라
  "'These are the regulations for the fellowship offering a person may present to the LORD:

12. 만일 그것을 감사하므로 드리거든 기름 섞은 무교병과 기름 바른 무교전병과 고운 가루에 기름 섞어 구운 과자를 그 감사 희생과 함께 드리고
  "'If he offers it as an expression of thankfulness, then along with this thank offering he is to offer cakes of bread made without yeast and mixed with oil, wafers made without yeast and spread with oil, and cakes of fine flour well-kneaded and mixed with oil.

13. 또 유교병을 화목제의 감사 희생과 함께 그 예물에 드리되
  Along with his fellowship offering of thanksgiving he is to present an offering with cakes of bread made with yeast.

14. 그 전체의 예물 중에서 하나씩 여호와께 거제로 드리고 그것을 화목제의 피를 뿌린 제사장들에게로 돌릴찌니라
  He is to bring one of each kind as an offering, a contribution to the LORD; it belongs to the priest who sprinkles the blood of the fellowship offerings.

15. 감사함으로 드리는 화목제 희생의 고기는 드리는 그 날에 먹을 것이요 조금이라도 이튿날 아침까지 두지 말 것이니라
  The meat of his fellowship offering of thanksgiving must be eaten on the day it is offered; he must leave none of it till morning.

16. 그러나 그 희생의 예물이 서원이나 자원의 예물이면 그 희생을 드린 날에 먹을 것이요 그 남은 것은 이튿날에도 먹되
  "'If, however, his offering is the result of a vow or is a freewill offering, the sacrifice shall be eaten on the day he offers it, but anything left over may be eaten on the next day.

17. 그 희생의 고기가 제 삼일까지 남았으면 불사를찌니
  Any meat of the sacrifice left over till the third day must be burned up.

18. 만일 그 화목제 희생의 고기를 제 삼 일에 조금이라도 먹으면 그 제사는 열납되지 않을 것이라 드린 자에게도 예물답게 못되고 도리어 가증한 것이 될 것이며 그것을 먹는 자는 죄를 당하리라
  If any meat of the fellowship offering is eaten on the third day, it will not be accepted. It will not be credited to the one who offered it, for it is impure; the person who eats any of it will be held responsible.

19. 그 고기가 부정한 물건에 접촉되었으면 먹지 말고 불사를 것이라 그 고기는 깨끗한 자만 먹을 것이니
  "'Meat that touches anything ceremonially unclean must not be eaten; it must be burned up. As for other meat, anyone ceremonially clean may eat it.

20. 만일 몸이 부정한 자가 여호와께 속한 화목제 희생의 고기를 먹으면 그 사람은 자기 백성 중에서 끊쳐질 것이요
  But if anyone who is unclean eats any meat of the fellowship offering belonging to the LORD, that person must be cut off from his people.

21. 만일 누구든지 부정한 것 곧 사람의 부정이나 부정한 짐승이나 부정하고 가증한 아무 물건이든지 만지고 여호와께 속한 화목제 희생의 고기를 먹으면 그 사람도 자기 백성 중에서 끊쳐지리라
  If anyone touches something unclean--whether human uncleanness or an unclean animal or any unclean, detestable thing--and then eats any of the meat of the fellowship offering belonging to the LORD, that person must be cut off from his people.'"

22. 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
  The LORD said to Moses,

23. 이스라엘 자손에게 고하여 이르라 너희는 소나 양이나 염소의 기름을 먹지 말 것이요
  "Say to the Israelites: 'Do not eat any of the fat of cattle, sheep or goats.

24. 스스로 죽은 것의 기름이나 짐승에게 찢긴 것의 기름은 달리는 쓰려니와 결단코 먹지 말찌니라
  The fat of an animal found dead or torn by wild animals may be used for any other purpose, but you must not eat it.

25. 사람이 여호와께 화제로 드리는 희생의 기름을 먹으면 그 먹는 자는 자기 백성 중에서 끊쳐지리라
  Anyone who eats the fat of an animal from which an offering by fire may be made to the LORD must be cut off from his people.

26. 너희의 모든 사는 곳에서 무슨 피든지 새나 짐승의 피를 먹지 말라
  And wherever you live, you must not eat the blood of any bird or animal.

27. 무슨 피든지 먹는 사람이 있으면 그 사람은 다 자기 백성 중에서 끊쳐지리라
  If anyone eats blood, that person must be cut off from his people.'"

28. 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
  The LORD said to Moses,

29. 이스라엘 자손에게 고하여 이르라 화목제의 희생을 여호와께 드리려는 자는 그 화목제 희생 중에서 그 예물을 취하여 여호와께 가져오되
  "Say to the Israelites: 'Anyone who brings a fellowship offering to the LORD is to bring part of it as his sacrifice to the LORD.

30. 여호와의 화제는 그 사람이 자기 손으로 가져올찌니 곧 그 제물의 기름과 가슴을 가져올 것이요 제사장은 그 가슴을 여호와 앞에 흔들어 요제를 삼고
  With his own hands he is to bring the offering made to the LORD by fire; he is to bring the fat, together with the breast, and wave the breast before the LORD as a wave offering.

31. 그 기름은 단 위에 불사를 것이며 가슴은 아론과 그 자손들에게 돌릴 것이며
  The priest shall burn the fat on the altar, but the breast belongs to Aaron and his sons.

32. 또 너희는 그 화목제 희생의 우편 뒷다리를 제사장에게 주어 거제를 삼을찌니
  You are to give the right thigh of your fellowship offerings to the priest as a contribution.

33. 아론의 자손 중 화목제 희생의 피와 기름을 드리는 자가 그 우편 뒷다리를 자기의 소득으로 삼을 것이라
  The son of Aaron who offers the blood and the fat of the fellowship offering shall have the right thigh as his share.

34. 내가 이스라엘 자손의 화목제 중에서 그 흔든 가슴과 든 뒷다리를 취하여 제사장 아론과 그 자손에게 주었나니 이는 이스라엘 자손에게 받을 영원한 소득이니라
  From the fellowship offerings of the Israelites, I have taken the breast that is waved and the thigh that is presented and have given them to Aaron the priest and his sons as their regular share from the Israelites.'"

35. 이는 여호와의 화제 중에서 아론에게 돌릴 것과 그 자손에게 돌릴 것이니 그들을 세워 여호와의 제사장의 직분을 행하게 한 날
  This is the portion of the offerings made to the LORD by fire that were allotted to Aaron and his sons on the day they were presented to serve the LORD as priests.

36. 곧 그들에게 기름 부은 날에 여호와께서 명하사 이스라엘 자손 중에서 그들에게 돌리게 하신 것이라 대대로 영원히 받을 소득 이니라
  On the day they were anointed, the LORD commanded that the Israelites give this to them as their regular share for the generations to come.

37. 이는 번제와 소제와 속죄제와 속건제와 위임제와 화목제의 규례라
  These, then, are the regulations for the burnt offering, the grain offering, the sin offering, the guilt offering, the ordination offering and the fellowship offering,

38. 여호와께서 시내 광야에서 이스라엘 자손에게 그 예물을 여호와께 드리라 명하신 날에 시내 산에서 이같이 모세에게 명하셨더라
  which the LORD gave Moses on Mount Sinai on the day he commanded the Israelites to bring their offerings to the LORD, in the Desert of Sinai.

시편 7-8

1. 여호와 내 하나님이여 주께 피하오니 나를 쫓는 모든 자에게서 나를 구하여 건지소서
  A shiggaion of David, which he sang to the LORD concerning Cush, a Benjamite. O LORD my God, I take refuge in you; save and deliver me from all who pursue me,

2. 건져낼 자 없으면 저희가 사자같이 나를 찢고 뜯을까 하나이다
  or they will tear me like a lion and rip me to pieces with no one to rescue me.

3. 여호와 내 하나님이여 내가 이것을 행하였거나 내 손에 죄악이 있거나
  O LORD my God, if I have done this and there is guilt on my hands--

4. 화친한 자를 악으로 갚았거나 내 대적에게 무고히 빼앗았거든
  if I have done evil to him who is at peace with me or without cause have robbed my foe--

5. 원수로 나의 영혼을 쫓아 잡아 내 생명을 땅에 짓밟고 내 영광을 진토에 떨어뜨리게 하소서 (셀라)
  then let my enemy pursue and overtake me; let him trample my life to the ground and make me sleep in the dust. Selah

6. 여호와여 진노로 일어나사 내 대적들의 노를 막으시며 나를 위하여 깨소서 주께서 심판을 명하셨나이다
  Arise, O LORD, in your anger; rise up against the rage of my enemies. Awake, my God; decree justice.

7. 민족들의 집회로 주를 두르게 하시고 그 위 높은 자리에 돌아오소서
  Let the assembled peoples gather around you. Rule over them from on high;

8. 여호와께서 만민에게 심판을 행하시오니 여호와여 나의 의와 내게 있는 성실함을 따라 나를 판단하소서
  let the LORD judge the peoples. Judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, according to my integrity, O Most High.

9. 악인의 악을 끊고 의인을 세우소서 의로우신 하나님이 사람의 심장을 감찰하시나이다
  O righteous God, who searches minds and hearts, bring to an end the violence of the wicked and make the righteous secure.

10. 나의 방패는 마음이 정직한 자를 구원하시는 하나님께 있도다
  My shield is God Most High, who saves the upright in heart.

11. 하나님은 의로우신 재판장이심이여 매일 분노하시는 하나님이시로다
  God is a righteous judge, a God who expresses his wrath every day.

12. 사람이 회개치 아니하면 저가 그 칼을 갈으심이여 그 활을 이미 당기어 예비하셨도다
  If he does not relent, he will sharpen his sword; he will bend and string his bow.

13. 죽일 기계를 또한 예비하심이여 그 만든 살은 화전이로다
  He has prepared his deadly weapons; he makes ready his flaming arrows.

14. 악인이 죄악을 해산함이여 잔해를 잉태하여 궤휼을 낳았도다
  He who is pregnant with evil and conceives trouble gives birth to disillusionment.

15. 저가 웅덩이를 파 만듦이여 제가 만든 함정에 빠졌도다
  He who digs a hole and scoops it out falls into the pit he has made.

16. 그 잔해는 자기 머리로 돌아오고 그 포학은 자기 정수리에 내리리로다
  The trouble he causes recoils on himself; his violence comes down on his own head.

17. 내가 여호와의 의를 따라 감사함이여 지극히 높으신 여호와의 이름을 찬양하리로다
  I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.

1. 여호와 우리 주여 주의 이름이 온 땅에 어찌 그리 아름다운지요 주의 영광을 하늘 위에 두셨나이다
  For the director of music. According to gittith. A psalm of David. O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens.

2. 주의 대적을 인하여 어린아이와 젖먹이의 입으로 말미암아 권능을 세우심이여 이는 원수와 보수자로 잠잠케 하려 하심이니이다
  From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise because of your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.

3. 주의 손가락으로 만드신 주의 하늘과 주의 베풀어 두신 달과 별들을 내가 보오니
  When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,

4. 사람이 무엇이관대 주께서 저를 생각하시며 인자가 무엇이관대 주께서 저를 권고하시나이까
  what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?

5. 저를 천사보다 조금 못하게 하시고 영화와 존귀로 관을 씌우셨나이다
  You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor.

6. 주의 손으로 만드신 것을 다스리게 하시고 만물을 그 발 아래 두셨으니
  You made him ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet:

7. 곧 모든 우양과 들짐승이며
  all flocks and herds, and the beasts of the field,

8. 공중의 새와 바다의 어족과 해로에 다니는 것이니이다
  the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas.

9. 여호와 우리 주여 주의 이름이 온 땅에 어찌 그리 아름다운지요
  O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!

■ 혼자 읽기

잠언 22

1. 많은 재물보다 명예를 택할 것이요 은이나 금보다 은총을 더욱 택할 것이니라
  A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.

2. 빈부가 섞여 살거니와 무릇 그들을 지으신 이는 여호와시니라
  Rich and poor have this in common: The LORD is the Maker of them all.

3. 슬기로운 자는 재앙을 보면 숨어 피하여도 어리석은 자들은 나아가다가 해를 받느니라
  A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it.

4. 겸손과 여호와를 경외함의 보응은 재물과 영광과 생명이니라
  Humility and the fear of the LORD bring wealth and honor and life.

5. 패역한 자의 길에는 가시와 올무가 있거니와 영혼을 지키는 자는 이를 멀리 하느니라
  In the paths of the wicked lie thorns and snares, but he who guards his soul stays far from them.

6. 마땅히 행할 길을 아이에게 가르치라 그리하면 늙어도 그것을 떠나지 아니하리라
  Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.

7. 부자는 가난한 자를 주관하고 빚진 자는 채주의 종이 되느니라
  The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.

8. 악을 뿌리는 자는 재앙을 거두리니 그 분노의 기세가 쇠하리라
  He who sows wickedness reaps trouble, and the rod of his fury will be destroyed.

9. 선한 눈을 가진 자는 복을 받으리니 이는 양식을 가난한 자에게 줌이니라
  A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor.

10. 거만한 자를 쫓아내면 다툼이 쉬고 싸움과 수욕이 그치느니라
  Drive out the mocker, and out goes strife; quarrels and insults are ended.

11. 마음의 정결을 사모하는 자의 입술에는 덕이 있으므로 임금이 그의 친구가 되느니라
  He who loves a pure heart and whose speech is gracious will have the king for his friend.

12. 여호와께서는 지식 있는 자를 그 눈으로 지키시나 궤사한 자의 말은 패하게 하시느니라
  The eyes of the LORD keep watch over knowledge, but he frustrates the words of the unfaithful.

13. 게으른 자는 말하기를 사자가 밖에 있은즉 내가 나가면 거리에서 찢기겠다 하느니라
  The sluggard says, "There is a lion outside!" or, "I will be murdered in the streets!"

14. 음녀의 입은 깊은 함정이라 여호와의 노를 당한 자는 거기 빠지리라
  The mouth of an adulteress is a deep pit; he who is under the LORD'S wrath will fall into it.

15. 아이의 마음에는 미련한 것이 얽혔으나 징계하는 채찍이 이를 멀리 쫓아내리라
  Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline will drive it far from him.

16. 이를 얻으려고 가난한 자를 학대하는 자와 부자에게 주는 자는 가난하여질 뿐이니라
  He who oppresses the poor to increase his wealth and he who gives gifts to the rich--both come to poverty.

17. 너는 귀를 기울여 지혜 있는 자의 말씀을 들으며 내 지식에 마음을 둘찌어다
  Pay attention and listen to the sayings of the wise; apply your heart to what I teach,

18. 이것을 네 속에 보존하며 네 입술에 있게 함이 아름다우니라
  for it is pleasing when you keep them in your heart and have all of them ready on your lips.

19. 내가 너로 여호와를 의뢰하게 하려 하여 이것을 오늘 특별히 네게 알게 하였노니
  So that your trust may be in the LORD, I teach you today, even you.

20. 내가 모략과 지식의 아름다운 것을 기록하여
  Have I not written thirty sayings for you, sayings of counsel and knowledge,

21. 너로 진리의 확실한 말씀을 깨닫게 하며 또 너를 보내는 자에게 진리의 말씀으로 회답하게 하려 함이 아니냐
  teaching you true and reliable words, so that you can give sound answers to him who sent you?

22. 약한 자를 약하다고 탈취하지 말며 곤고한 자를 성문에서 압제하지 말라
  Do not exploit the poor because they are poor and do not crush the needy in court,

23. 대저 여호와께서 신원하여 주시고 또 그를 노략하는 자의 생명을 빼앗으시리라
  for the LORD will take up their case and will plunder those who plunder them.

24. 노를 품는 자와 사귀지 말며 울분한 자와 동행하지 말찌니
  Do not make friends with a hot-tempered man, do not associate with one easily angered,

25. 그 행위를 본받아서 네 영혼을 올무에 빠칠까 두려움이니라
  or you may learn his ways and get yourself ensnared.

26. 너는 사람으로 더불어 손을 잡지 말며 남의 빚에 보증이 되지 말라
  Do not be a man who strikes hands in pledge or puts up security for debts;

27. 만일 갚을 것이 없으면 네 누운 침상도 빼앗길 것이라 네가 어찌 그리하겠느냐
  if you lack the means to pay, your very bed will be snatched from under you.

28. 네 선조의 세운 옛 지계석을 옮기지 말찌니라
  Do not move an ancient boundary stone set up by your forefathers.

29. 네가 자기 사업에 근실한 사람을 보았느냐 이러한 사람은 왕 앞에 설 것이요 천한 자 앞에 서지 아니하리라
  Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve before kings; he will not serve before obscure men.

데살로니가전서 1

1. 바울과 실루아노와 디모데는 하나님 아버지와 주 예수 그리스도 안에 있는 데살로니가인의 교회에 편지하노니 은혜와 평강이 너희에게 있을찌어다
  Paul, Silas and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace and peace to you.

2. 우리가 너희 무리를 인하여 항상 하나님께 감사하고 기도할 때에 너희를 말함은
  We always thank God for all of you, mentioning you in our prayers.

3. 너희의 믿음의 역사와 사랑의 수고와 우리 주 예수 그리스도에 대한 소망의 인내를 우리 하나님 아버지 앞에서 쉬지 않고 기억함이니
  We continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

4. 하나님의 사랑하심을 받은 형제들아 너희를 택하심을 아노라
  For we know, brothers loved by God, that he has chosen you,

5. 이는 우리 복음이 말로만 너희에게 이른 것이 아니라 오직 능력과 성령과 큰 확신으로 된 것이니 우리가 너희 가운데서 너희를 위하여 어떠한 사람이 된 것은 너희 아는 바와 같으니라
  because our gospel came to you not simply with words, but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake.

6. 또 너희는 많은 환난 가운데서 성령의 기쁨으로 도를 받아 우리와 주를 본받은 자가 되었으니
  You became imitators of us and of the Lord; in spite of severe suffering, you welcomed the message with the joy given by the Holy Spirit.

7. 그러므로 너희가 마게도냐와 아가야 모든 믿는 자의 본이 되었는지라
  And so you became a model to all the believers in Macedonia and Achaia.

8. 주의 말씀이 너희에게로부터 마게도냐와 아가야에만 들릴 뿐아니라 하나님을 향하는 너희 믿음의 소문이 각처에 퍼진고로 우리는 아무 말도 할것이 없노라
  The Lord's message rang out from you not only in Macedonia and Achaia--your faith in God has become known everywhere. Therefore we do not need to say anything about it,

9. 저희가 우리에 대하여 스스로 고하기를 우리가 어떻게 너희 가운데 들어간 것과 너희가 어떻게 우상을 버리고 하나님께로 돌아와서 사시고 참되신 하나님을 섬기며
  for they themselves report what kind of reception you gave us. They tell how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God,

10. 또 죽은 자들 가운데서 다시 살리신 그의 아들이 하늘로부터 강림하심을 기다린다고 말하니 이는 장래 노하심에서 우리를 건지시는 예수시니라
  and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead--Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.
