레위기 6

1. 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
  The LORD said to Moses:

2. 누구든지 여호와께 신실치 못하여 범죄하되 곧 남의 물건을 맡거나 전당 잡거나 강도질하거나 늑봉하고도 사실을 부인하거나
  "If anyone sins and is unfaithful to the LORD by deceiving his neighbor about something entrusted to him or left in his care or stolen, or if he cheats him,

3. 남의 잃은 물건을 얻고도 사실을 부인하여 거짓 맹세하는 등 사람이 이 모든 일 중에 하나라도 행하여 범죄하면
  or if he finds lost property and lies about it, or if he swears falsely, or if he commits any such sin that people may do--

4. 이는 죄를 범하였고 죄가 있는 자니 그 빼앗은 것이나 늑봉한 것이나 맡은 것이나 얻은 유실물이나
  when he thus sins and becomes guilty, he must return what he has stolen or taken by extortion, or what was entrusted to him, or the lost property he found,

5. 무릇 그 거짓 맹세한 물건을 돌려 보내되 곧 그 본물에 오분 일을 더하여 돌려 보낼 것이니 그 죄가 드러나는 날에 그 임자에게 줄 것이요
  or whatever it was he swore falsely about. He must make restitution in full, add a fifth of the value to it and give it all to the owner on the day he presents his guilt offering.

6. 그는 또 그 속건제를 여호와께 가져 올찌니 곧 너의 지정한 가치 대로 떼 중 흠 없는 수양을 속건 제물을 위하여 제사장에게로 끌어 올 것이요
  And as a penalty he must bring to the priest, that is, to the LORD, his guilt offering, a ram from the flock, one without defect and of the proper value.

7. 제사장은 여호와 앞에서 그를 위하여 속죄한즉 그는 무슨 허물이든지 사함을 얻으리라
  In this way the priest will make atonement for him before the LORD, and he will be forgiven for any of these things he did that made him guilty."

8. 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
  The LORD said to Moses:

9. 아론과 그 자손에게 명하여 이르라 번제의 규례는 이러하니라 번제물은 단 윗 석쇠 위에 아침까지 두고 단의 불로 그 위에서 꺼지지 않게 할 것이요
  "Give Aaron and his sons this command: 'These are the regulations for the burnt offering: The burnt offering is to remain on the altar hearth throughout the night, till morning, and the fire must be kept burning on the altar.

10. 제사장은 세마포 긴 옷을 입고 세마포 고의로 하체를 가리우고 단 위에서 탄 번제의 재를 가져다가 단 곁에 두고
  The priest shall then put on his linen clothes, with linen undergarments next to his body, and shall remove the ashes of the burnt offering that the fire has consumed on the altar and place them beside the altar.

11. 그 옷을 벗고 다른 옷을 입고 그 재를 진 바깥 정결한 곳으로 가져갈 것이요
  Then he is to take off these clothes and put on others, and carry the ashes outside the camp to a place that is ceremonially clean.

12. 단 위에 불은 항상 피워 꺼지지 않게 할찌니 제사장은 아침마다 나무를 그 위에 태우고 번제물을 그 위에 벌여 놓고 화목제의 기름을 그 위에 사를찌며
  The fire on the altar must be kept burning; it must not go out. Every morning the priest is to add firewood and arrange the burnt offering on the fire and burn the fat of the fellowship offerings on it.

13. 불은 끊이지 않고 단 위에 피워 꺼지지 않게 할찌니라
  The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out.

14. 소제의 규례는 이러하니라 아론의 자손은 그것을 단 앞 여호와 앞에 드리되
  "'These are the regulations for the grain offering: Aaron's sons are to bring it before the LORD, in front of the altar.

15. 그 소제의 고운 기름 가루 한 움큼과 소제물 위의 유향을 다 취하여 기념물로 단 위에 불살라 여호와 앞에 향기로운 냄새가 되게 하고
  The priest is to take a handful of fine flour and oil, together with all the incense on the grain offering, and burn the memorial portion on the altar as an aroma pleasing to the LORD.

16. 그 나머지는 아론과 그 자손이 먹되 누룩을 넣지 말고 거룩한 곳 회막 뜰에서 먹을찌니라
  Aaron and his sons shall eat the rest of it, but it is to be eaten without yeast in a holy place; they are to eat it in the courtyard of the Tent of Meeting.

17. 그것에 누룩을 넣어 굽지 말라 이는 나의 화제 중에서 내가 그들에게 주어 그 소득이 되게 하는 것이라 속죄제와 속건제같이 지극히 거룩한즉
  It must not be baked with yeast; I have given it as their share of the offerings made to me by fire. Like the sin offering and the guilt offering, it is most holy.

18. 무릇 아론 자손의 남자는 이를 먹을찌니 이는 여호와의 화제 중에서 그들의 대대로 영원한 소득이 됨이라 이를 만지는 자마다 거룩하리라
  Any male descendant of Aaron may eat it. It is his regular share of the offerings made to the LORD by fire for the generations to come. Whatever touches them will become holy.'"

19. 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
  The LORD also said to Moses,

20. 아론과 그 자손이 기름 부음을 받는 날에 여호와께 드릴 예물은 이러하니라 고운 가루 에바 십분 일을 항상 드리는 소제물로 삼아 그 절반은 아침에, 절반은 저녁에 드리되
  "This is the offering Aaron and his sons are to bring to the LORD on the day he is anointed: a tenth of an ephah of fine flour as a regular grain offering, half of it in the morning and half in the evening.

21. 그것을 기름으로 반죽하여 번철에 굽고 기름에 적시어다가 썰어서 소제로 여호와께 드려 향기로운 냄새가 되게 하라
  Prepare it with oil on a griddle; bring it well-mixed and present the grain offering broken in pieces as an aroma pleasing to the LORD.

22. 이 소제는 아론의 자손 중 기름 부음을 받고 그를 이어 제사장 된 자가 드릴 것이요 영원한 규례로 여호와께 온전히 불사를 것이니
  The son who is to succeed him as anointed priest shall prepare it. It is the LORD'S regular share and is to be burned completely.

23. 무릇 제사장의 소제물은 온전히 불사르고 먹지 말찌니라
  Every grain offering of a priest shall be burned completely; it must not be eaten."

24. 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
  The LORD said to Moses,

25. 아론과 그 아들들에게 고하여 이르라 속죄제의 규례는 이러하니라 속죄제 희생은 지극히 거룩하니 여호와 앞 번제 희생을 잡는 곳에서 그 속죄제 희생을 잡을 것이요
  "Say to Aaron and his sons: 'These are the regulations for the sin offering: The sin offering is to be slaughtered before the LORD in the place the burnt offering is slaughtered; it is most holy.

26. 죄를 위하여 제사드리는 제사장이 그것을 먹되 곧 회막 뜰 거룩한 곳에서 먹을 것이며
  The priest who offers it shall eat it; it is to be eaten in a holy place, in the courtyard of the Tent of Meeting.

27. 무릇 그 고기에 접촉하는 자는 거룩할 것이며 그 피가 어떤 옷에든지 묻었으면 묻은 그것을 거룩한 곳에서 빨 것이요
  Whatever touches any of the flesh will become holy, and if any of the blood is spattered on a garment, you must wash it in a holy place.

28. 그 고기를 토기에 삶았으면 그 그릇을 깨뜨릴 것이요 유기에 삶았으면 그 그릇을 닦고 물에 씻을 것이며
  The clay pot the meat is cooked in must be broken; but if it is cooked in a bronze pot, the pot is to be scoured and rinsed with water.

29. 그 고기는 지극히 거룩하니 제사장의 남자마다 먹을 것이니라
  Any male in a priest's family may eat it; it is most holy.

30. 그러나 피를 가지고 회막에 들어가 성소에서 속하게 한 속죄제 희생의 고기는 먹지 못할찌니 불사를찌니라
  But any sin offering whose blood is brought into the Tent of Meeting to make atonement in the Holy Place must not be eaten; it must be burned.

시편 5-6

1. 여호와여 나의 말에 귀를 기울이사 나의 심사를 통촉하소서
  For the director of music. For flutes. A psalm of David. Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my sighing.

2. 나의 왕, 나의 하나님이여 나의 부르짖는 소리를 들으소서 내가 주께 기도하나이다
  Listen to my cry for help, my King and my God, for to you I pray.

3. 여호와여 아침에 주께서 나의 소리를 들으시리니 아침에 내가 주께 기도하고 바라리이다
  In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.

4. 주는 죄악을 기뻐하는 신이 아니시니 악이 주와 함께 유하지 못하며
  You are not a God who takes pleasure in evil; with you the wicked cannot dwell.

5. 오만한 자가 주의 목전에 서지 못하리이다 주는 모든 행악자를 미워하시며
  The arrogant cannot stand in your presence; you hate all who do wrong.

6. 거짓말하는 자를 멸하시리이다 여호와께서는 피 흘리기를 즐기고 속이는 자를 싫어하시나이다
  You destroy those who tell lies; bloodthirsty and deceitful men the LORD abhors.

7. 오직 나는 주의 풍성한 인자를 힘입어 주의 집에 들어가 주를 경외함으로 성전을 향하여 경배하리이다
  But I, by your great mercy, will come into your house; in reverence will I bow down toward your holy temple.

8. 여호와여 나의 원수들을 인하여 주의 의로 나를 인도하시고 주의 길을 내 목전에 곧게 하소서
  Lead me, O LORD, in your righteousness because of my enemies--make straight your way before me.

9. 저희 입에 신실함이 없고 저희 심중이 심히 악하며 저희 목구멍은 열린 무덤 같고 저희 혀로는 아첨하나이다
  Not a word from their mouth can be trusted; their heart is filled with destruction. Their throat is an open grave; with their tongue they speak deceit.

10. 하나님이여 저희를 정죄하사 자기 꾀에 빠지게 하시고 그 많은 허물로 인하여 저희를 쫓아내소서 저희가 주를 배역함이니이다
  Declare them guilty, O God! Let their intrigues be their downfall. Banish them for their many sins, for they have rebelled against you.

11. 오직 주에게 피하는 자는 다 기뻐하며 주의 보호로 인하여 영영히 기뻐 외치며 주의 이름을 사랑하는 자들은 주를 즐거워하리이다
  But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.

12. 여호와여 주는 의인에게 복을 주시고 방패로 함같이 은혜로 저를 호위하시리이다
  For surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.

1. 여호와여 주의 분으로 나를 견책하지 마옵시며 주의 진노로 나를 징계하지 마옵소서
  For the director of music. With stringed instruments. According to sheminith. A psalm of David. O LORD, do not rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your wrath.

2. 여호와여 내가 수척하였사오니 긍휼히 여기소서 여호와여 나의 뼈가 떨리오니 나를 고치소서
  Be merciful to me, LORD, for I am faint; O LORD, heal me, for my bones are in agony.

3. 나의 영혼도 심히 떨리나이다 여호와여 어느 때까지니이까
  My soul is in anguish. How long, O LORD, how long?

4. 여호와여 돌아와 나의 영혼을 건지시며 주의 인자하심을 인하여 나를 구원하소서
  Turn, O LORD, and deliver me; save me because of your unfailing love.

5. 사망 중에서는 주를 기억함이 없사오니 음부에서 주께 감사할 자 누구리이까
  No one remembers you when he is dead. Who praises you from the grave?

6. 내가 탄식함으로 곤핍하여 밤마다 눈물로 내 침상을 띄우며 내 요를 적시나이다
  I am worn out from groaning; all night long I flood my bed with weeping and drench my couch with tears.

7. 내 눈이 근심을 인하여 쇠하며 내 모든 대적을 인하여 어두웠나이다
  My eyes grow weak with sorrow; they fail because of all my foes.

8. 행악하는 너희는 다 나를 떠나라 여호와께서 내 곡성을 들으셨도다
  Away from me, all you who do evil, for the LORD has heard my weeping.

9. 여호와께서 내 간구를 들으셨음이여 여호와께서 내 기도를 받으시리로다
  The LORD has heard my cry for mercy; the LORD accepts my prayer.

10. 내 모든 원수가 부끄러움을 당하고 심히 떪이여 홀연히 부끄러워 물러가리로다
  All my enemies will be ashamed and dismayed; they will turn back in sudden disgrace.

■ 혼자 읽기

잠언 21

1. 왕의 마음이 여호와의 손에 있음이 마치 보의 물과 같아서 그가 임의로 인도하시느니라
  The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD; he directs it like a watercourse wherever he pleases.

2. 사람의 행위가 자기 보기에는 모두 정직하여도 여호와는 심령을 감찰하시느니라
  All a man's ways seem right to him, but the LORD weighs the heart.

3. 의와 공평을 행하는 것은 제사드리는 것보다 여호와께서 기쁘게 여기시느니라
  To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.

4. 눈이 높은 것과 마음이 교만한 것과 악인의 형통한 것은 다 죄니라
  Haughty eyes and a proud heart, the lamp of the wicked, are sin!

5. 부지런한 자의 경영은 풍부함에 이를 것이나 조급한 자는 궁핍함에 이를 따름이니라
  The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.

6. 속이는 말로 재물을 모으는 것은 죽음을 구하는 것이라 곧 불려 다니는 안개니라
  A fortune made by a lying tongue is a fleeting vapor and a deadly snare.

7. 악인의 강포는 자기를 소멸하나니 이는 공의 행하기를 싫어함이니라
  The violence of the wicked will drag them away, for they refuse to do what is right.

8. 죄를 크게 범한 자의 길은 심히 구부러지고 깨끗한 자의 길은 곧으니라
  The way of the guilty is devious, but the conduct of the innocent is upright.

9. 다투는 여인과 함께 큰 집에서 사는 것보다 움막에서 혼자 사는 것이 나으니라
  Better to live on a corner of the roof than share a house with a quarrelsome wife.

10. 악인의 마음은 남의 재앙을 원하나니 그 이웃도 그 앞에서 은혜를 입지 못하느니라
  The wicked man craves evil; his neighbor gets no mercy from him.

11. 거만한 자가 벌을 받으면 어리석은 자는 경성하겠고 지혜로운 자가 교훈을 받으면 지식이 더하리라
  When a mocker is punished, the simple gain wisdom; when a wise man is instructed, he gets knowledge.

12. 의로우신 자는 악인의 집을 감찰하시고 악인을 환난에 던지시느니라
  The Righteous One takes note of the house of the wicked and brings the wicked to ruin.

13. 귀를 막아 가난한 자의 부르짖는 소리를 듣지 아니하면 자기의 부르짖을 때에도 들을 자가 없으리라
  If a man shuts his ears to the cry of the poor, he too will cry out and not be answered.

14. 은밀한 선물은 노를 쉬게 하고 품의 뇌물은 맹렬한 분을 그치게 하느니라
  A gift given in secret soothes anger, and a bribe concealed in the cloak pacifies great wrath.

15. 공의를 행하는 것이 의인에게는 즐거움이요 죄인에게는 패망이니라
  When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers.

16. 명철의 길을 떠난 사람은 사망의 회중에 거하리라
  A man who strays from the path of understanding comes to rest in the company of the dead.

17. 연락을 좋아하는 자는 가난하게 되고 술과 기름을 좋아하는 자는 부하게 되지 못하느니라
  He who loves pleasure will become poor; whoever loves wine and oil will never be rich.

18. 악인은 의인의 대속이 되고 궤사한 자는 정직한 자의 대신이 되느니라
  The wicked become a ransom for the righteous, and the unfaithful for the upright.

19. 다투며 성내는 여인과 함께 사는 것보다 광야에서 혼자 사는 것이 나으니라
  Better to live in a desert than with a quarrelsome and ill-tempered wife.

20. 지혜 있는 자의 집에는 귀한 보배와 기름이 있으나 미련한 자는 이것을 다 삼켜 버리느니라
  In the house of the wise are stores of choice food and oil, but a foolish man devours all he has.

21. 의와 인자를 따라 구하는 자는 생명과 의와 영광을 얻느니라
  He who pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor.

22. 지혜로운 자는 용사의 성에 올라가서 그 성의 견고히 의뢰하는 것을 파하느니라
  A wise man attacks the city of the mighty and pulls down the stronghold in which they trust.

23. 입과 혀를 지키는 자는 그 영혼을 환난에서 보전하느니라
  He who guards his mouth and his tongue keeps himself from calamity.

24. 무례하고 교만한 자를 이름하여 망령된 자라 하나니 이는 넘치는 교만으로 행함이니라
  The proud and arrogant man--"Mocker" is his name; he behaves with overweening pride.

25. 게으른 자의 정욕이 그를 죽이나니 이는 그 손으로 일하기를 싫어함이니라
  The sluggard's craving will be the death of him, because his hands refuse to work.

26. 어떤 자는 종일토록 탐하기만 하나 의인은 아끼지 아니하고 시제하느니라
  All day long he craves for more, but the righteous give without sparing.

27. 악인의 제물은 본래 가증하거든 하물며 악한 뜻으로 드리는 것이랴
  The sacrifice of the wicked is detestable--how much more so when brought with evil intent!

28. 거짓 증인은 패망하려니와 확실한 증인의 말은 힘이 있느니라
  A false witness will perish, and whoever listens to him will be destroyed forever.

29. 악인은 그 얼굴을 굳게 하나 정직한 자는 그 행위를 삼가느니라
  A wicked man puts up a bold front, but an upright man gives thought to his ways.

30. 지혜로도, 명철로도, 모략으로도 여호와를 당치 못하느니라
  There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the LORD.

31. 싸울 날을 위하여 마병을 예비하거니와 이김은 여호와께 있느니라
  The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the LORD.

골로새서 4

1. 상전들아 의와 공평을 종들에게 베풀찌니 너희에게도 하늘에 상전이 계심을 알찌어다
  Masters, provide your slaves with what is right and fair, because you know that you also have a Master in heaven.

2. 기도를 항상 힘쓰고 기도에 감사함으로 깨어 있으라
  Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

3. 또한 우리를 위하여 기도하되 하나님이 전도할 문을 우리에게 열어 주사 그리스도의 비밀을 말하게 하시기를 구하라 내가 이것을 인하여 매임을 당하였노라
  And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains.

4. 그리하면 내가 마땅히 할 말로써 이 비밀을 나타내리라
  Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.

5. 외인을 향하여서는 지혜로 행하여 세월을 아끼라
  Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity.

6. 너희 말을 항상 은혜 가운데서 소금으로 고루게 함같이 하라 그리하면 각 사람에게 마땅히 대답할 것을 알리라
  Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

7. 두기고가 내 사정을 다 너희에게 알게 하리니 그는 사랑을 받는 형제요 신실한 일군이요 주 안에서 함께 된 종이라
  Tychicus will tell you all the news about me. He is a dear brother, a faithful minister and fellow servant in the Lord.

8. 내가 저를 특별히 너희에게 보낸 것은 너희로 우리 사정을 알게 하고 너희 마음을 위로하게 하려 함이라
  I am sending him to you for the express purpose that you may know about our circumstances and that he may encourage your hearts.

9. 신실하고 사랑을 받는 형제 오네시모를 함께 보내노니 그는 너희에게서 온 사람이라 저희가 여기 일을 다 너희에게 알게 하리라
  He is coming with Onesimus, our faithful and dear brother, who is one of you. They will tell you everything that is happening here.

10. 나와 함께 갇힌 아리스다고와 바나바의 생질 마가와 (이 마가에 대하여 너희가 명을 받았으매 그가 이르거든 영접하라)
  My fellow prisoner Aristarchus sends you his greetings, as does Mark, the cousin of Barnabas. (You have received instructions about him; if he comes to you, welcome him.)

11. 유스도라 하는 예수도 너희에게 문안하니 저희는 할례당이라 이들만 하나님 나라를 위하여 함께 역사하는 자들이니 이런 사람들이 나의 위로가 되었느니라
  Jesus, who is called Justus, also sends greetings. These are the only Jews among my fellow workers for the kingdom of God, and they have proved a comfort to me.

12. 그리스도 예수의 종인 너희에게서 온 에바브라가 너희에게 문안하니 저가 항상 너희를 위하여 애써 기도하여 너희로 하나님의 모든 뜻 가운데서 완전하고 확신 있게 서기를 구하나니
  Epaphras, who is one of you and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends greetings. He is always wrestling in prayer for you, that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured.

13. 그가 너희와 라오디게아에 있는 자들과 히에라볼리에 있는 자들을 위하여 많이 수고하는 것을 내가 증거하노라
  I vouch for him that he is working hard for you and for those at Laodicea and Hierapolis.

14. 사랑을 받는 의원 누가와 또 데마가 너희에게 문안하느니라
  Our dear friend Luke, the doctor, and Demas send greetings.

15. 라오디게아에 있는 형제들과 눔바와 그 여자의 집에 있는 교회에 문안하고
  Give my greetings to the brothers at Laodicea, and to Nympha and the church in her house.

16. 이 편지를 너희에게서 읽은 후에 라오디게아인의 교회에서도 읽게 하고 또 라오디게아로서 오는 편지를 너희도 읽으라
  After this letter has been read to you, see that it is also read in the church of the Laodiceans and that you in turn read the letter from Laodicea.

17. 아킵보에게 이르기를 주 안에서 받은 직분을 삼가 이루라고 하라
  Tell Archippus: "See to it that you complete the work you have received in the Lord."

18. 나 바울은 친필로 문안하노니 나의 매인 것을 생각하라 은혜가 너희에게 있을찌어다
  I, Paul, write this greeting in my own hand. Remember my chains. Grace be with you.
