사무엘하 14

1. 스루야의 아들 요압이 왕의 마음이 압살롬에게로 향하는 줄 알고
  Joab son of Zeruiah knew that the king's heart longed for Absalom.

2. 드고아에 보내어 거기서 슬기 있는 여인 하나를 데려다가 이르되 청컨대 너는 상제 된것처럼 상복을 입고 기름을 바르지 말고 죽은 사람을 위하여 오래 슬퍼하는 여인 같이 하고
  So Joab sent someone to Tekoa and had a wise woman brought from there. He said to her, "Pretend you are in mourning. Dress in mourning clothes, and don't use any cosmetic lotions. Act like a woman who has spent many days grieving for the dead.

3. 왕께 들어가서 여차여차히 말하라고 할 말을 그 입에 넣어 주니라
  Then go to the king and speak these words to him." And Joab put the words in her mouth.

4. 드고아 여인이 왕께 고할 때에 얼굴을 땅에 대고 엎드려 가로되 왕이여 도우소서
  When the woman from Tekoa went to the king, she fell with her face to the ground to pay him honor, and she said, "Help me, O king!"

5. 왕이 저에게 이르되 무슨 일이냐 대답하되 나는 참 과부니이다 남편은 죽고
  The king asked her, "What is troubling you?" She said, "I am indeed a widow; my husband is dead.

6. 아들 둘이 있더니 저희가 들에서 싸우나 말려 줄 사람이 아무도 없으므로 저가 이를 쳐죽인지라
  I your servant had two sons. They got into a fight with each other in the field, and no one was there to separate them. One struck the other and killed him.

7. 온 족속이 일어나서 왕의 계집종 나를 핍박하여 말하기를 그 동생을 죽인 자를 내어 놓으라 우리가 그 동생 죽인 죄를 갚아 저를 죽여 사자 될 것까지 끊겠노라 하오니 그러한즉 저희가 내게 남아 있는 숯불을 꺼서 내 남편의 이름과 씨를 세상에 끼쳐 두지 아니하겠나이다
  Now the whole clan has risen up against your servant; they say, 'Hand over the one who struck his brother down, so that we may put him to death for the life of his brother whom he killed; then we will get rid of the heir as well.' They would put out the only burning coal I have left, leaving my husband neither name nor descendant on the face of the earth."

8. 왕이 여인에게 이르되 네 집으로 가라 내가 너를 위하여 명령을 내리리라
  The king said to the woman, "Go home, and I will issue an order in your behalf."

9. 드고아 여인이 왕께 고하되 내 주 왕이여 그 죄는 나와 내 아비의 집으로 돌릴 것이니 왕과 왕위는 허물이 없으리이다
  But the woman from Tekoa said to him, "My lord the king, let the blame rest on me and on my father's family, and let the king and his throne be without guilt."

10. 왕이 가로되 누구든지 네게 말하는 자를 내게로 데려오라 저가 다시는 너를 건드리지도 못하리라
  The king replied, "If anyone says anything to you, bring him to me, and he will not bother you again."

11. 여인이 가로되 청컨대 왕은 왕의 하나님 여호와를 생각하사 원수 갚는 자로 더 죽이지 못하게 하옵소서 내 아들을 죽일까 두려워하나이다 왕이 가로되 여호와의 사심을 가리켜 맹세하노니 네 아들의 머리카락 하나라도 땅에 떨어지지 아니하리라
  She said, "Then let the king invoke the LORD his God to prevent the avenger of blood from adding to the destruction, so that my son will not be destroyed." "As surely as the LORD lives," he said, "not one hair of your son's head will fall to the ground."

12. 여인이 가로되 청컨대 계집종을 용납하여 한 말씀으로 내 주 왕께 여쭙게 하옵소서 가로되 말하라
  Then the woman said, "Let your servant speak a word to my lord the king." "Speak," he replied.

13. 여인이 가로되 그러면 어찌하여 왕께서 하나님의 백성에게 대하여 이같은 도모를 하셨나이까 이 말씀을 하셨으니 왕께서 죄 있는 사람같이 되심은 그 내어쫓긴 자를 집으로 돌아오게 아니하심이니이다
  The woman said, "Why then have you devised a thing like this against the people of God? When the king says this, does he not convict himself, for the king has not brought back his banished son?

14. 우리는 필경 죽으리니 땅에 쏟아진 물을 다시 모으지 못함 같을 것이오나 하나님은 생명을 빼앗지 아니하시고 방책을 베푸사 내어쫓긴 자로 하나님께 버린 자가 되지 않게 하시나이다
  Like water spilled on the ground, which cannot be recovered, so we must die. But God does not take away life; instead, he devises ways so that a banished person may not remain estranged from him.

15. 이제 내가 와서 내 주 왕께 이 말씀을 여쭙는 것은 백성들이 나를 두렵게 하므로 계집종이 스스로 말하기를 내가 왕께 여쭈면 혹시 종의 청하는 것을 시행하실 것이라
  "And now I have come to say this to my lord the king because the people have made me afraid. Your servant thought, 'I will speak to the king; perhaps he will do what his servant asks.

16. 왕께서 들으시고 나와 내 아들을 함께 하나님의 산업에서 끊을 자의 손에서 종을 구원하시리라 함이니이다
  Perhaps the king will agree to deliver his servant from the hand of the man who is trying to cut off both me and my son from the inheritance God gave us.'

17. 계집종이 또 스스로 말하기를 내 주 왕의 말씀이 나의 위로가 되기를 원한다 하였사오니 이는 내 주 왕께서 하나님의 사자같이 선과 악을 분간하심이니이다 원컨대 왕의 하나님 여호와께서 왕과 같이 계시옵소서
  "And now your servant says, 'May the word of my lord the king bring me rest, for my lord the king is like an angel of God in discerning good and evil. May the LORD your God be with you.'"

18. 왕이 그 여인에게 대답하여 이르되 내가 네게 묻는 것을 숨기지 말라 여인이 가로되 내 주 왕은 말씀하옵소서
  Then the king said to the woman, "Do not keep from me the answer to what I am going to ask you." "Let my lord the king speak," the woman said.

19. 왕이 가로되 이 모든 일에 요압이 너와 함께 하였느냐 여인이 대답하여 가로되 내 주 왕의 사심을 가리켜 맹세하옵나니 무릇 내 주 왕의 말씀을 좌로나 우로나 옮길 자가 없으리이다 왕의 종 요압이 내게 명하였고 저가 이 모든 말을 왕의 계집종의 입에 넣어 주었사오니
  The king asked, "Isn't the hand of Joab with you in all this?" The woman answered, "As surely as you live, my lord the king, no one can turn to the right or to the left from anything my lord the king says. Yes, it was your servant Joab who instructed me to do this and who put all these words into the mouth of your servant.

20. 이는 왕의 종 요압이 이 일의 형편을 변하려 하여 이렇게 함이니이다 내 주 왕의 지혜는 하나님의 사자의 지혜와 같아서 땅에 있는 일을 다 아시나이다 하니라
  Your servant Joab did this to change the present situation. My lord has wisdom like that of an angel of God--he knows everything that happens in the land."

21. 왕이 요압에게 이르되 내가 이 일을 허락하였으니 가서 소년 압살롬을 데려오라
  The king said to Joab, "Very well, I will do it. Go, bring back the young man Absalom."

22. 요압이 땅에 엎드려 절하고 왕을 위하여 복을 빌고 가로되 내 주 왕이여 종의 구함을 허락하시니 종이 왕 앞에서 은혜받은 줄을 오늘날 아나이다 하고
  Joab fell with his face to the ground to pay him honor, and he blessed the king. Joab said, "Today your servant knows that he has found favor in your eyes, my lord the king, because the king has granted his servant's request."

23. 일어나 그술로 가서 압살롬을 데리고 예루살렘으로 오니
  Then Joab went to Geshur and brought Absalom back to Jerusalem.

24. 왕이 가로되 저를 그 집으로 물러가게 하고 내 얼굴을 보지 말게 하라 하매 압살롬이 자기 집으로 가고 왕의 얼굴을 보지 못하니라
  But the king said, "He must go to his own house; he must not see my face." So Absalom went to his own house and did not see the face of the king.

25. 온 이스라엘 가운데 압살롬같이 아름다움으로 크게 칭찬받는 자가 없었으니 저는 발바닥부터 정수리까지 흠이 없음이라
  In all Israel there was not a man so highly praised for his handsome appearance as Absalom. From the top of his head to the sole of his foot there was no blemish in him.

26. 그 머리털이 무거우므로 년말마다 깎았으며 그 머리 털을 깎을 때에 달아 본즉 왕의 저울로 이백 세겔이었더라
  Whenever he cut the hair of his head--he used to cut his hair from time to time when it became too heavy for him--he would weigh it, and its weight was two hundred shekels by the royal standard.

27. 압살롬이 아들 셋과 딸 하나를 낳았는데 딸의 이름은 다말이라 얼굴이 아름다운 여자더라
  Three sons and a daughter were born to Absalom. The daughter's name was Tamar, and she became a beautiful woman.

28. 압살롬이 이태 동안을 예루살렘에 있으되 왕의 얼굴을 보지 못하였으므로
  Absalom lived two years in Jerusalem without seeing the king's face.

29. 요압을 왕께 보내려 하여 사람을 보내어 부르되 오지 아니하고 또다시 보내되 오지 아니하는지라
  Then Absalom sent for Joab in order to send him to the king, but Joab refused to come to him. So he sent a second time, but he refused to come.

30. 압살롬이 그 종에게 이르되 보라 요압의 밭이 내 밭 근처에 있고 거기 보리가 있으니 가서 불을 놓으라 압살롬의 종들이 그 밭에 불을 놓았더니
  Then he said to his servants, "Look, Joab's field is next to mine, and he has barley there. Go and set it on fire." So Absalom's servants set the field on fire.

31. 요압이 일어나 압살롬의 집으로 와서 압살롬에게 이르되 어찌하여 네 종들이 내 밭에 불을 놓았느냐
  Then Joab did go to Absalom's house and he said to him, "Why have your servants set my field on fire?"

32. 압살롬이 요압에게 대답하되 내가 일찍 사람을 네게 보내어 너를 이리로 청한 것은 내가 너를 왕께 보내어 고하게 하기를 어찌하여 내가 그술에서 돌아오게 되었나이까 이때까지 거기 있는 것이 내게 나았으리이다 하려 함이로라 이제는 네가 나로 왕의 얼굴을 보게 하라 내가 만일 죄가 있으면 왕이 나를 죽이시는 것이 가하니라
  Absalom said to Joab, "Look, I sent word to you and said, 'Come here so I can send you to the king to ask, "Why have I come from Geshur? It would be better for me if I were still there!" 'Now then, I want to see the king's face, and if I am guilty of anything, let him put me to death."

33. 요압이 왕께 나아가서 그 말을 고하매 왕이 압살롬을 부르니 저가 왕께 나아가 그 앞에서 얼굴을 땅에 대어 절하매 왕이 압살롬과 입을 맞추니라
  So Joab went to the king and told him this. Then the king summoned Absalom, and he came in and bowed down with his face to the ground before the king. And the king kissed Absalom.

고린도후서 7

1. 그런즉 사랑하는 자들아 이 약속을 가진 우리가 하나님을 두려워하는 가운데서 거룩함을 온전히 이루어 육과 영의 온갖 더러운 것에서 자신을 깨끗케 하자
  Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.

2. 마음으로 우리를 영접하라 우리가 아무에게도 불의를 하지 않고 아무에게도 해롭게 하지 않고 아무에게도 속여 빼앗은 일이 없노라
  Make room for us in your hearts. We have wronged no one, we have corrupted no one, we have exploited no one.

3. 내가 정죄하려고 이 말을 하는 것이 아니라 이전에 말하였거니와 너희로 우리 마음에 있어 함께 죽고 함께 살게 하고자 함이라
  I do not say this to condemn you; I have said before that you have such a place in our hearts that we would live or die with you.

4. 내가 너희를 향하여 하는 말이 담대한 것도 많고 너희를 위하여 자랑하는 것도 많으니 내가 우리의 모든 환난 가운데서도 위로가 가득하고 기쁨이 넘치는도다
  I have great confidence in you; I take great pride in you. I am greatly encouraged; in all our troubles my joy knows no bounds.

5. 우리가 마게도냐에 이르렀을 때에도 우리 육체가 편치 못하고 사방으로 환난을 당하여 밖으로는 다툼이요 안으로는 두려움이라
  For when we came into Macedonia, this body of ours had no rest, but we were harassed at every turn--conflicts on the outside, fears within.

6. 그러나 비천한 자들을 위로하시는 하나님이 디도의 옴으로 우리를 위로하셨으니
  But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus,

7. 저의 온 것뿐 아니요 오직 저가 너희에게 받은 그 위로로 위로하고 너희의 사모함과 애통함과 나를 위하여 열심 있는 것을 우리에게 고함으로 나로 더욱 기쁘게 하였느니라
  and not only by his coming but also by the comfort you had given him. He told us about your longing for me, your deep sorrow, your ardent concern for me, so that my joy was greater than ever.

8. 그러므로 내가 편지로 너희를 근심하게 한 것을 후회하였으나 지금은 후회하지 아니함은 그 편지가 너희로 잠시만 근심하게 한 줄을 앎이라
  Even if I caused you sorrow by my letter, I do not regret it. Though I did regret it--I see that my letter hurt you, but only for a little while--

9. 내가 지금 기뻐함은 너희로 근심하게 한 까닭이 아니요 도리어 너희가 근심함으로 회개함에 이른 까닭이라 너희가 하나님의 뜻대로 근심하게 된 것은 우리에게서 아무 해도 받지 않게 하려 함이라
  yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you became sorrowful as God intended and so were not harmed in any way by us.

10. 하나님의 뜻대로 하는 근심은 후회할 것이 없는 구원에 이르게 하는 회개를 이루는 것이요 세상 근심은 사망을 이루는 것이니라
  Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.

11. 보라 하나님의 뜻대로 하게 한 이 근심이 너희로 얼마나 간절하게 하며 얼마나 변명하게 하며 얼마나 분하게 하며 얼마나 두렵게 하며 얼마나 사모하게 하며 얼마나 열심있게 하며 얼마나 벌하게 하였는가, 너희가 저 일에 대하여 일절 너희 자신의 깨끗함을 나타내었느니라
  See what this godly sorrow has produced in you: what earnestness, what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what alarm, what longing, what concern, what readiness to see justice done. At every point you have proved yourselves to be innocent in this matter.

12. 그런즉 내가 너희에게 쓴 것은 그 불의 행한 자를 위한 것도 아니요 그 불의 당한 자를 위한 것도 아니요 오직 우리를 위한 너희의 간절함이 하나님 앞에서 너희에게 나타나게 하려 함이로라
  So even though I wrote to you, it was not on account of the one who did the wrong or of the injured party, but rather that before God you could see for yourselves how devoted to us you are.

13. 이로 인하여 우리가 위로를 받았고 우리의 받은 위로 위에 디도의 기쁨으로 우리가 더욱 많이 기뻐함은 그의 마음이 너희 무리를 인하여 안심함을 얻었음이니라
  By all this we are encouraged. In addition to our own encouragement, we were especially delighted to see how happy Titus was, because his spirit has been refreshed by all of you.

14. 내가 그에게 너희를 위하여 자랑한 것이 있더라도 부끄럽지 아니하니 우리가 너희에게 이른 말이 다 참된 것같이 디도 앞에서 우리의 자랑한 것도 참되게 되었도다
  I had boasted to him about you, and you have not embarrassed me. But just as everything we said to you was true, so our boasting about you to Titus has proved to be true as well.

15. 저가 너희 모든 사람들이 두려워하고 떪으로 자기를 영접하여 순종한 것을 생각하고 너희를 향하여 그의 심정이 더욱 깊었으니
  And his affection for you is all the greater when he remembers that you were all obedient, receiving him with fear and trembling.

16. 내가 너희를 인하여 범사에 담대한 고로 기뻐하노라
  I am glad I can have complete confidence in you.

에스겔 21

1. 여호와의 말씀이 또 내게 임하여 가라사대
  The word of the LORD came to me:

2. 인자야 너는 얼굴을 예루살렘으로 향하며 성소를 향하여 소리내어 이스라엘 땅을 쳐서 예언하라
  "Son of man, set your face against Jerusalem and preach against the sanctuary. Prophesy against the land of Israel

3. 이스라엘 땅에게 이르기를 여호와의 말씀에 내가 너를 대적하여 내 칼을 집에서 빼어 의인과 악인을 네게서 끊을찌라
  and say to her: 'This is what the LORD says: I am against you. I will draw my sword from its scabbard and cut off from you both the righteous and the wicked.

4. 내가 의인과 악인을 네게서 끊을터이므로 내 칼을 집에서 빼어 무릇 혈기 있는 자를 남에서 북까지 치리니
  Because I am going to cut off the righteous and the wicked, my sword will be unsheathed against everyone from south to north.

5. 무릇 혈기 있는 자는 나 여호와가 내 칼을 집에서 빼어낸 줄을 알찌라 칼이 다시 꽂혀지지 아니하리라 하셨다 하라
  Then all people will know that I the LORD have drawn my sword from its scabbard; it will not return again.'

6. 인자야 너는 탄식하되 허리가 끊어지는 듯이 그들의 목전에서 슬피 탄식하라
  "Therefore groan, son of man! Groan before them with broken heart and bitter grief.

7. 그들이 네게 묻기를 네가 어찌하여 탄식하느냐 하거든 대답하기를 소문을 인함이라 재앙이 오나니 각 마음이 녹으며 모든 손이 약하여지며 각 영이 쇠하며 모든 무릎이 물과 같이 약하리라 보라 재앙이 오나니 정녕 이루리라 나 주 여호와의 말이니라 하라
  And when they ask you, 'Why are you groaning?' you shall say, 'Because of the news that is coming. Every heart will melt and every hand go limp; every spirit will become faint and every knee become as weak as water.' It is coming! It will surely take place, declares the Sovereign LORD."

8. 여호와의 말씀이 또 내게 임하여 가라사대
  The word of the LORD came to me:

9. 인자야 너는 예언하여 이르기를 여호와의 말씀에 칼이여 칼이여 날카롭고도 마광되었도다
  "Son of man, prophesy and say, 'This is what the Lord says: "'A sword, a sword, sharpened and polished--

10. 그 칼이 날카로움은 살륙을 위함이요 마광됨은 번개같이 되기 위함이니 우리가 즐거워하겠느냐 내 아들의 홀이 모든 나무를 업신여기는도다
  sharpened for the slaughter, polished to flash like lightning! "'Shall we rejoice in the scepter of my son Judah? The sword despises every such stick.

11. 그 칼이 손에 잡아 쓸만하도록 마광되되 살륙하는 자의 손에 붙이기 위하여 날카롭고도 마광되었도다 하셨다 하라
  "'The sword is appointed to be polished, to be grasped with the hand; it is sharpened and polished, made ready for the hand of the slayer.

12. 인자야 너는 부르짖어 슬피 울찌어다 이것이 내 백성에게 임하며 이스라엘 모든 방백에게 임함이로다 그들과 내 백성이 함께 칼에 붙인바 되었으니 너는 네 넓적다리를 칠찌어다
  Cry out and wail, son of man, for it is against my people; it is against all the princes of Israel. They are thrown to the sword along with my people. Therefore beat your breast.

13. 이것이 시험이라 만일 업신여기는 홀이 없어지면 어찌할꼬 나 주 여호와의 말이니라
  "'Testing will surely come. And what if the scepter of Judah, which the sword despises, does not continue? declares the Sovereign LORD.'

14. 그러므로 인자야 너는 예언하며 손뼉을 쳐서 칼로 세 번 거듭 씌우게 하라 이 칼은 중상케 하는 칼이라 밀실에 들어가서 대인을 중상케 하는 칼이로다
  "So then, son of man, prophesy and strike your hands together. Let the sword strike twice, even three times. It is a sword for slaughter--a sword for great slaughter, closing in on them from every side.

15. 내가 그들로 낙담하여 많이 엎드러지게 하려고 그 모든 성문을 향하여 번쩍번쩍하는 칼을 베풀었도다 오호라 그 칼이 번개 같고 살륙을 위하여 날카로왔도다
  So that hearts may melt and the fallen be many, I have stationed the sword for slaughter at all their gates. Oh! It is made to flash like lightning, it is grasped for slaughter.

16. 칼아 모이라 우향하라 항오를 차리라 좌향하라 향한 대로 가라
  O sword, slash to the right, then to the left, wherever your blade is turned.

17. 나도 내 손뼉을 치며 내 분을 다 하리로다 나 여호와의 말이니라
  I too will strike my hands together, and my wrath will subside. I the LORD have spoken."

18. 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 가라사대
  The word of the LORD came to me:

19. 인자야 너는 바벨론 왕의 칼이 올 두 길을 한 땅에서 나오도록 그리되 곧 성으로 들어가는 길 머리에다가 길이 나뉘는 지시표를 하여
  "Son of man, mark out two roads for the sword of the king of Babylon to take, both starting from the same country. Make a signpost where the road branches off to the city.

20. 칼이 암몬 족속의 랍바에 이르는 길과 유다 견고한 성 예루살렘에 이르는 길을 그리라
  Mark out one road for the sword to come against Rabbah of the Ammonites and another against Judah and fortified Jerusalem.

21. 바벨론 왕이 갈랫길 곧 두 길 머리에 서서 점을 치되 살들을 흔들어 우상에게 묻고 희생의 간을 살펴서
  For the king of Babylon will stop at the fork in the road, at the junction of the two roads, to seek an omen: He will cast lots with arrows, he will consult his idols, he will examine the liver.

22. 오른손에 예루살렘으로 갈 점괘를 얻었으므로 공성퇴를 베풀며 입을 벌리고 살륙하며 소리를 높여 외치며 성문을 향하여 공성퇴를 베풀고 토성을 쌓고 운제를 세우게 되었나니
  Into his right hand will come the lot for Jerusalem, where he is to set up battering rams, to give the command to slaughter, to sound the battle cry, to set battering rams against the gates, to build a ramp and to erect siege works.

23. 전에 그들에게 맹약한 자들은 그것을 헛점으로 여길 것이나 바벨론 왕은 그 죄악을 기억하고 그 무리를 잡으리라
  It will seem like a false omen to those who have sworn allegiance to him, but he will remind them of their guilt and take them captive.

24. 그러므로 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 너희의 악이 기억을 일으키며 너희의 건과가 드러나며 너희 모든 행위의 죄가 나타났도다 너희가 기억한 바 되었은즉 그 손에 잡히리라
  "Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: 'Because you people have brought to mind your guilt by your open rebellion, revealing your sins in all that you do--because you have done this, you will be taken captive.

25. 너 극악하여 중상을 당할 이스라엘 왕아 네 날이 이르렀나니 곧 죄악의 끝 때니라
  "'O profane and wicked prince of Israel, whose day has come, whose time of punishment has reached its climax,

26. 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 관을 제하며 면류관을 벗길찌라 그대로 두지 못하리니 낮은 자를 높이고 높은 자를 낮출 것이니라
  this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Take off the turban, remove the crown. It will not be as it was: The lowly will be exalted and the exalted will be brought low.

27. 내가 엎드러뜨리고 엎드러뜨리고 엎드러뜨리려니와 이것도 다시 있지 못하리라 마땅히 얻을 자가 이르면 그에게 주리라
  A ruin! A ruin! I will make it a ruin! It will not be restored until he comes to whom it rightfully belongs; to him I will give it.'

28. 인자야 주 여호와께서 암몬 족속과 그 능욕에 대하여 말씀하셨다고 너는 예언하라 너는 이르기를 칼이 뽑히도다 칼이 뽑히도다 살륙하며 멸절하며 번개같이 되기 위하여 마광되었도다
  "And you, son of man, prophesy and say, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says about the Ammonites and their insults: "'A sword, a sword, drawn for the slaughter, polished to consume and to flash like lightning!

29. 네게 대하여 허무한 것을 보며 네게 대하여 거짓 복술을 하는 자가 너를 중상을 당한 악인의 목 위에 두리니 이는 그의 날 곧 죄악의 끝 때가 이름이로다
  Despite false visions concerning you and lying divinations about you, it will be laid on the necks of the wicked who are to be slain, whose day has come, whose time of punishment has reached its climax.

30. 그러나 칼을 그 집에 꽂을찌어다 네가 지음을 받은 곳에서, 너의 생장한 땅에서 내가 너를 국문하리로다
  Return the sword to its scabbard. In the place where you were created, in the land of your ancestry, I will judge you.

31. 내가 내 분노를 네게 쏟으며 내 진노의 불을 네게 불고 너를 짐승 같은 자 곧 멸하기에 익숙한 자의 손에 붙이리로다
  I will pour out my wrath upon you and breathe out my fiery anger against you; I will hand you over to brutal men, men skilled in destruction.

32. 네가 불에 섶과 같이 될 것이며 네 피가 나라 가운데 있을 것이며 네가 다시 기억되지 못할 것이니 나 여호와가 말하였음이니라 하라
  You will be fuel for the fire, your blood will be shed in your land, you will be remembered no more; for I the LORD have spoken.'"

시편 68

1. 하나님은 일어나사 원수를 흩으시며 주를 미워하는 자로 주의 앞에서 도망하게 하소서
  For the director of music. Of David. A psalm. A song. May God arise, may his enemies be scattered; may his foes flee before him.

2. 연기가 몰려감같이 저희를 몰아내소서 불 앞에서 밀이 녹음같이 악인이 하나님 앞에서 망하게 하소서
  As smoke is blown away by the wind, may you blow them away; as wax melts before the fire, may the wicked perish before God.

3. 의인은 기뻐하여 하나님 앞에서 뛰놀며 기뻐하고 즐거워할찌어다
  But may the righteous be glad and rejoice before God; may they be happy and joyful.

4. 하나님께 노래하며 그 이름을 찬양하라 타고 광야에 행하시던 자를 위하여 대로를 수축하라 그 이름은 여호와시니 그 앞에서 뛰놀찌어다
  Sing to God, sing praise to his name, extol him who rides on the clouds--his name is the LORD--and rejoice before him.

5. 그 거룩한 처소에 계신 하나님은 고아의 아버지시며 과부의 재판장이시라
  A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.

6. 하나님은 고독한 자로 가속 중에 처하게 하시며 수금된 자를 이끌어 내사 형통케 하시느니라 오직 거역하는 자의 거처는 메마른 땅이로다
  God sets the lonely in families, he leads forth the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.

7. 하나님이여 주의 백성 앞에서 앞서 나가사 광야에 행진하셨을 때에 (셀라)
  When you went out before your people, O God, when you marched through the wasteland, Selah

8. 땅이 진동하며 하늘이 하나님 앞에서 떨어지며 저 시내 산도 하나님 곧 이스라엘의 하나님 앞에서 진동하였나이다
  the earth shook, the heavens poured down rain, before God, the One of Sinai, before God, the God of Israel.

9. 하나님이여 흡족한 비를 보내사 주의 산업이 곤핍할 때에 견고케 하셨고
  You gave abundant showers, O God; you refreshed your weary inheritance.

10. 주의 회중으로 그 가운데 거하게 하셨나이다 하나님이여 가난한 자를 위하여 주의 은택을 준비하셨나이다
  Your people settled in it, and from your bounty, O God, you provided for the poor.

11. 주께서 말씀을 주시니 소식을 공포하는 여자가 큰 무리라
  The Lord announced the word, and great was the company of those who proclaimed it:

12. 여러 군대의 왕들이 도망하고 도망하니 집에 거한 여자도 탈취물을 나누도다
  "Kings and armies flee in haste; in the camps men divide the plunder.

13. 너희가 양 우리에 누울 때에는 그 날개를 은으로 입히고 그 깃을 황금으로 입힌 비둘기 같도다
  Even while you sleep among the campfires, the wings of my dove are sheathed with silver, its feathers with shining gold."

14. 전능하신 자가 열왕을 그 중에서 흩으실 때에는 살몬에 눈이 날림 같도다
  When the Almighty scattered the kings in the land, it was like snow fallen on Zalmon.

15. 바산의 산은 하나님의 산임이여 바산의 산은 높은 산이로다
  The mountains of Bashan are majestic mountains; rugged are the mountains of Bashan.

16. 너희 높은 산들아 어찌하여 하나님이 거하시려 하는 산을 시기하여 보느뇨 진실로 여호와께서 이 산에 영영히 거하시리로다
  Why gaze in envy, O rugged mountains, at the mountain where God chooses to reign, where the LORD himself will dwell forever?

17. 하나님의 병거가 천천이요 만만이라 주께서 그 중에 계심이 시내 산 성소에 계심 같도다
  The chariots of God are tens of thousands and thousands of thousands; the Lord has come from Sinai into his sanctuary.

18. 주께서 높은 곳으로 오르시며 사로잡은 자를 끌고 선물을 인간에게서, 또는 패역자 중에서 받으시니 여호와 하나님이 저희와 함께 거하려 하심이로다
  When you ascended on high, you led captives in your train; you received gifts from men, even from the rebellious--that you, O LORD God, might dwell there.

19. 날마다 우리 짐을 지시는 주 곧 우리의 구원이신 하나님을 찬송할찌로다
  Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens. Selah

20. 하나님은 우리에게 구원의 하나님이시라 사망에서 피함이 주 여호와께로 말미암거니와
  Our God is a God who saves; from the Sovereign LORD comes escape from death.

21. 그 원수의 머리 곧 그 죄과에 항상 행하는 자의 정수리는 하나님이 쳐서 깨치시리로다
  Surely God will crush the heads of his enemies, the hairy crowns of those who go on in their sins.

22. 주께서 말씀하시기를 내가 저희를 바산에서 돌아오게 하며 바다 깊은 데서 도로 나오게 하고
  The Lord says, "I will bring them from Bashan; I will bring them from the depths of the sea,

23. 너로 저희를 심히 치고 그 피에 네 발을 잠그게 하며 네 개의 혀로 네 원수에게서 제 분깃을 얻게 하리라 하시도다
  that you may plunge your feet in the blood of your foes, while the tongues of your dogs have their share."

24. 하나님이여 저희가 주의 행차하심을 보았으니 곧 나의 하나님, 나의 왕이 성소에 행차하시는 것이라
  Your procession has come into view, O God, the procession of my God and King into the sanctuary.

25. 소고 치는 동녀 중에 가객은 앞서고 악사는 뒤따르나이다
  In front are the singers, after them the musicians; with them are the maidens playing tambourines.

26. 이스라엘의 근원에서 나온 너희여 대회 중에서 하나님 곧 주를 송축할찌어다
  Praise God in the great congregation; praise the LORD in the assembly of Israel.

27. 거기는 저희 주관자 작은 베냐민과 유다의 방백과 그 무리와 스불론의 방백과 납달리의 방백이 있도다
  There is the little tribe of Benjamin, leading them, there the great throng of Judah's princes, and there the princes of Zebulun and of Naphtali.

28. 네 하나님이 네 힘을 명하셨도다 하나님이여 우리를 위하여 행하신 것을 견고히 하소서
  Summon your power, O God; show us your strength, O God, as you have done before.

29. 예루살렘에 있는 주의 전을 위하여 왕들이 주께 예물을 드리리이다
  Because of your temple at Jerusalem kings will bring you gifts.

30. 갈밭의 들짐승과 수소의 무리와 만민의 송아지를 꾸짖으시고 은 조각을 발 아래 밟으소서 저가 전쟁을 즐기는 백성을 흩으셨도다
  Rebuke the beast among the reeds, the herd of bulls among the calves of the nations. Humbled, may it bring bars of silver. Scatter the nations who delight in war.

31. 방백들은 애굽에서 나오고 구스인은 하나님을 향하여 그 손을 신속히 들리로다
  Envoys will come from Egypt; Cush will submit herself to God.

32. 땅의 열방들아 하나님께 노래하고 주께 찬송할찌어다(셀라)
  Sing to God, O kingdoms of the earth, sing praise to the Lord, Selah

33. 옛적 하늘들의 하늘을 타신 자에게 찬송하라 주께서 그 소리를 발하시니 웅장한 소리로다
  to him who rides the ancient skies above, who thunders with mighty voice.

34. 너희는 하나님께 능력을 돌릴찌어다 그 위엄이 이스라엘 위에 있고 그 능력이 하늘에 있도다
  Proclaim the power of God, whose majesty is over Israel, whose power is in the skies.

35. 하나님이여 위엄을 성소에서 나타내시나이다 이스라엘의 하나님은 그 백성에게 힘과 능을 주시나니 하나님을 찬송할찌어다
  You are awesome, O God, in your sanctuary; the God of Israel gives power and strength to his people. Praise be to God!
