사무엘하 13

1. 그 후에 이 일이 있으니라 다윗의 아들 압살롬에게 아름다운 누이가 있으니 이름은 다말이라 다윗의 아들 암논이 저를 연애하나
  In the course of time, Amnon son of David fell in love with Tamar, the beautiful sister of Absalom son of David.

2. 저는 처녀이므로 어찌할 수 없는 줄을 알고 암논이 그 누이 다말을 인하여 심화로 병이 되니라
  Amnon became frustrated to the point of illness on account of his sister Tamar, for she was a virgin, and it seemed impossible for him to do anything to her.

3. 암논에게 요나답이라 하는 친구가 있으니 저는 다윗의 형 시므아의 아들이요 심히 간교한 자라
  Now Amnon had a friend named Jonadab son of Shimeah, David's brother. Jonadab was a very shrewd man.

4. 저가 암논에게 이르되 왕자여 어찌하여 나날이 이렇게 파리하여 가느뇨 내게 고하지 아니하겠느뇨 암논이 말하되 내가 아우 압살롬의 누이 다말을 연애함이니라
  He asked Amnon, "Why do you, the king's son, look so haggard morning after morning? Won't you tell me?" Amnon said to him, "I'm in love with Tamar, my brother Absalom's sister."

5. 요나답이 저에게 이르되 침상에 누워 병든 체하다가 네 부친이 너를 보러 오거든 너는 말하기를 청컨대 내 누이 다말로 와서 내게 식물을 먹이되 나 보는 데서 식물을 차려 그 손으로 먹여 주게 하옵소서 하라
  "Go to bed and pretend to be ill," Jonadab said. "When your father comes to see you, say to him, 'I would like my sister Tamar to come and give me something to eat. Let her prepare the food in my sight so I may watch her and then eat it from her hand.'"

6. 암논이 곧 누워 병든 체하다가 왕이 와서 저를 볼 때에 왕께 고하되 청컨대 내 누이 다말로 와서 내가 보는 데서 과자 두어 개를 만들어 그 손으로 내게 먹여 주게 하옵소서
  So Amnon lay down and pretended to be ill. When the king came to see him, Amnon said to him, "I would like my sister Tamar to come and make some special bread in my sight, so I may eat from her hand."

7. 다윗이 사람을 그 집으로 보내어 다말에게 이르되 네 오라비 암논의 집으로 가서 저를 위하여 음식을 차리라 한지라
  David sent word to Tamar at the palace: "Go to the house of your brother Amnon and prepare some food for him."

8. 다말이 그 오라비 암논의 집에 이르매 암논이 누웠더라 다말이 밀가루를 가지고 반죽하여 그 보는 데서 과자를 만들고 그 과자를 굽고
  So Tamar went to the house of her brother Amnon, who was lying down. She took some dough, kneaded it, made the bread in his sight and baked it.

9. 그 남비를 가져다가 그 앞에 쏟아 놓아도 암논이 먹기를 싫어하고 가로되 모든 사람을 나가게 하라 하니 다 저를 떠나 나가니라
  Then she took the pan and served him the bread, but he refused to eat. "Send everyone out of here," Amnon said. So everyone left him.

10. 암논이 다말에게 이르되 식물을 가지고 침실로 들어오라 내가 네 손에서 먹으리라 다말이 자기의 만든 과자를 가지고 침실에 들어가 그 오라비 암논에게 이르러
  Then Amnon said to Tamar, "Bring the food here into my bedroom so I may eat from your hand." And Tamar took the bread she had prepared and brought it to her brother Amnon in his bedroom.

11. 저에게 먹이려고 가까이 가지고 갈 때에 암논이 그를 붙잡고 이르되 누이야 와서 나와 동침하자
  But when she took it to him to eat, he grabbed her and said, "Come to bed with me, my sister."

12. 저가 대답하되 아니라 내 오라비여 나를 욕되게 말라 이런 일은 이스라엘에서 마땅히 행치 못할 것이니 이 괴악한 일을 행치 말라
  "Don't, my brother!" she said to him. "Don't force me. Such a thing should not be done in Israel! Don't do this wicked thing.

13. 내가 이 수치를 무릅쓰고 어디로 가겠느냐 너도 이스라엘에서 괴악한 자 중 하나가 되리라 청컨대 왕께 말하라 저가 나를 네게 주기를 거절치 아니하시리라 하되
  What about me? Where could I get rid of my disgrace? And what about you? You would be like one of the wicked fools in Israel. Please speak to the king; he will not keep me from being married to you."

14. 암논이 그 말을 듣지 아니하고 다말보다 힘이 세므로 억지로 동침하니라
  But he refused to listen to her, and since he was stronger than she, he raped her.

15. 그리하고 암논이 저를 심히 미워하니 이제 미워하는 미움이 이왕 연애하던 연애보다 더한지라 곧 저에게 이르되 일어나 가라
  Then Amnon hated her with intense hatred. In fact, he hated her more than he had loved her. Amnon said to her, "Get up and get out!"

16. 다말이 가로되 가치 아니하다 나를 쫓아 보내는 이 큰 악은 아까 내게 행한 그 악보다 더하다 하되 암논이 듣지 아니하고
  "No!" she said to him. "Sending me away would be a greater wrong than what you have already done to me." But he refused to listen to her.

17. 그 부리는 종을 불러 이르되 이 계집을 내어 보내고 곧 문빗장을 지르라 하니
  He called his personal servant and said, "Get this woman out of here and bolt the door after her."

18. 암논의 하인이 저를 끌어내고 곧 문빗장을 지르니라 다말이 채색옷을 입었으니 출가하지 아니한 공주는 이런 옷으로 단장하는 법이라
  So his servant put her out and bolted the door after her. She was wearing a richly ornamented robe, for this was the kind of garment the virgin daughters of the king wore.

19. 다말이 재를 그 머리에 무릅쓰고 그 채색옷을 찢고 손을 머리 위에 얹고 크게 울며 가니라
  Tamar put ashes on her head and tore the ornamented robe she was wearing. She put her hand on her head and went away, weeping aloud as she went.

20. 그 오라비 압살롬이 저에게 이르되 네 오라비 암논이 너와 함께 있었느냐 그러나 저는 네 오라비니 누이야 시방은 잠잠히 있고 이것으로 인하여 근심하지 말라 이에 다말이 그 오라비 압살롬의 집에 있어 처량하게 지내니라
  Her brother Absalom said to her, "Has that Amnon, your brother, been with you? Be quiet now, my sister; he is your brother. Don't take this thing to heart." And Tamar lived in her brother Absalom's house, a desolate woman.

21. 다윗 왕이 이 모든 일을 듣고 심히 노하니라
  When King David heard all this, he was furious.

22. 압살롬이 그 누이 다말을 암논이 욕되게 하였으므로 저를 미워하여 시비간에 말하지 아니하니라
  Absalom never said a word to Amnon, either good or bad; he hated Amnon because he had disgraced his sister Tamar.

23. 이 주년 후에 에브라임 곁 바알하솔에서 압살롬의 양털을 깎는 일이 있으매 압살롬이 왕의 모든 아들을 청하고
  Two years later, when Absalom's sheepshearers were at Baal Hazor near the border of Ephraim, he invited all the king's sons to come there.

24. 왕께 나아와 말하되 이제 종에게 양털 깎는 일이 있사오니 청컨대 왕은 신복들을 데리시고 이 종과 함께 가사이다
  Absalom went to the king and said, "Your servant has had shearers come. Will the king and his officials please join me?"

25. 왕이 압살롬에게 이르되 아니라 내 아들아 우리가 다 갈 것이 없다 네게 누를 끼칠까 하노라 압살롬이 간청하되 저가 가지 아니하고 위하여 복을 비는지라
  "No, my son," the king replied. "All of us should not go; we would only be a burden to you." Although Absalom urged him, he still refused to go, but gave him his blessing.

26. 압살롬이 가로되 그렇게 아니하시려거든 청컨대 내 형 암논으로 우리와 함께 가게 하옵소서 왕이 저에게 이르되 그가 너와 함께 갈 것이 무엇이냐 하되
  Then Absalom said, "If not, please let my brother Amnon come with us." The king asked him, "Why should he go with you?"

27. 압살롬이 간청하매 왕이 암논과 왕의 모든 아들을 저와 함께 보내니라
  But Absalom urged him, so he sent with him Amnon and the rest of the king's sons.

28. 압살롬이 이미 그 사환들에게 분부하여 이르기를 너희는 암논의 마음이 술로 즐거워할 때를 자세히 보다가 내가 너희에게 암논을 치라 하거든 저를 죽이라 두려워 말라 내가 너희에게 명한 것이 아니냐 너희는 담대히 용맹을 내라 한지라
  Absalom ordered his men, "Listen! When Amnon is in high spirits from drinking wine and I say to you, 'Strike Amnon down,' then kill him. Don't be afraid. Have not I given you this order? Be strong and brave."

29. 압살롬의 사환들이 그 분부대로 암논에게 행하매 왕의 모든 아들이 일어나 각기 노새를 타고 도망하니라
  So Absalom's men did to Amnon what Absalom had ordered. Then all the king's sons got up, mounted their mules and fled.

30. 저희가 길에 있을 때에 압살롬이 왕의 모든 아들을 죽이고 하나도 남기지 아니하였다는 소문이 다윗에게 이르매
  While they were on their way, the report came to David: "Absalom has struck down all the king's sons; not one of them is left."

31. 왕이 곧 일어나서 그 옷을 찢고 땅에 엎드러지고 그 신복들도 다 옷을 찢고 모셔 선지라
  The king stood up, tore his clothes and lay down on the ground; and all his servants stood by with their clothes torn.

32. 다윗의 형 시므아의 아들 요나답이 고하여 가로되 내 주여 소년 왕자들이 다 죽임을 당한 줄로 생각지 마옵소서 오직 암논만 죽었으리이다 저가 압살롬의 누이 다말을 욕되게 한 날부터 압살롬이 결심한 것이니이다
  But Jonadab son of Shimeah, David's brother, said, "My lord should not think that they killed all the princes; only Amnon is dead. This has been Absalom's expressed intention ever since the day Amnon raped his sister Tamar.

33. 그러하온즉 내 주 왕이여 왕자들이 다 죽은 줄로 생각하여 괘념하지 마옵소서 암논만 죽었으리이다
  My lord the king should not be concerned about the report that all the king's sons are dead. Only Amnon is dead."

34. 이에 압살롬은 도망하니라 파수하는 소년이 눈을 들어 보니 뒷산 언덕길로 여러 사람이 오더라
  Meanwhile, Absalom had fled. Now the man standing watch looked up and saw many people on the road west of him, coming down the side of the hill. The watchman went and told the king, "I see men in the direction of Horonaim, on the side of the hill."

35. 요나답이 왕께 고하되 왕자들이 오나이다 종의 말한 대로 되었나이다
  Jonadab said to the king, "See, the king's sons are here; it has happened just as your servant said."

36. 말을 마치자 왕자들이 이르러 대성 통곡하니 왕과 그 모든 신복도 심히 통곡하니라
  As he finished speaking, the king's sons came in, wailing loudly. The king, too, and all his servants wept very bitterly.

37. 압살롬은 도망하여 그술 왕 암미훌의 아들 달매에게로 갔고 다윗은 날마다 그 아들을 인하여 슬퍼하니라
  Absalom fled and went to Talmai son of Ammihud, the king of Geshur. But King David mourned for his son every day.

38. 압살롬이 도망하여 그술로 가서 거한 지 삼 년이라
  After Absalom fled and went to Geshur, he stayed there three years.

39. 다윗 왕의 마음이 압살롬에게 향하여 간절하니 암논은 이미 죽었으므로 왕이 위로를 받았음이더라
  And the spirit of the king longed to go to Absalom, for he was consoled concerning Amnon's death.

고린도후서 6

1. 우리가 하나님과 함께 일하는 자로서 너희를 권하노니 하나님의 은혜를 헛되이 받지 말라
  As God's fellow workers we urge you not to receive God's grace in vain.

2. 가라사대 내가 은혜 베풀 때에 너를 듣고 구원의 날에 너를 도왔다 하셨으니 보라 지금은 은혜받을 만한 때요 보라 지금은 구원의 날이로다
  For he says, "In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you." I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation.

3. 우리가 이 직책이 훼방을 받지 않게 하려고 무엇에든지 아무에게도 거리끼지 않게 하고
  We put no stumbling block in anyone's path, so that our ministry will not be discredited.

4. 오직 모든 일에 하나님의 일군으로 자천하여 많이 견디는 것과 환난과 궁핍과 곤난과
  Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses;

5. 매맞음과 갇힘과 요란한 것과 수고로움과 자지 못함과 먹지 못함과
  in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger;

6. 깨끗함과 지식과 오래 참음과 자비함과 성령의 감화와 거짓이 없는 사랑과
  in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love;

7. 진리의 말씀과 하나님의 능력 안에 있어 의의 병기로 좌우하고
  in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left;

8. 영광과 욕됨으로 말미암으며 악한 이름과 아름다운 이름으로 말미암으며 속이는 자 같으나 참되고
  through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report; genuine, yet regarded as impostors;

9. 무명한 자 같으나 유명한 자요 죽은 자 같으나 보라 우리가 살고 징계를 받는 자 같으나 죽임을 당하지 아니하고
  known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed;

10. 근심하는 자 같으나 항상 기뻐하고 가난한 자 같으나 많은 사람을 부요하게 하고 아무것도 없는 자 같으나 모든 것을 가진 자로다
  sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.

11. 고린도인들이여 너희를 향하여 우리의 입이 열리고 우리의 마음이 넓었으니
  We have spoken freely to you, Corinthians, and opened wide our hearts to you.

12. 너희가 우리 안에서 좁아진 것이 아니라 오직 너희 심정에서 좁아진 것이니라
  We are not withholding our affection from you, but you are withholding yours from us.

13. 내가 자녀에게 말하듯 하노니 보답하는 양으로 너희도 마음을 넓히라
  As a fair exchange--I speak as to my children--open wide your hearts also.

14. 너희는 믿지 않는 자와 멍에를 같이 하지 말라 의와 불법이 어찌 함께 하며 빛과 어두움이 어찌 사귀며
  Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?

15. 그리스도와 벨리알이 어찌 조화되며 믿는 자와 믿지 않는 자가 어찌 상관하며
  What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?

16. 하나님의 성전과 우상이 어찌 일치가 되리요 우리는 살아 계신 하나님의 성전이라 이와 같이 하나님께서 가라사대 내가 저희 가운데 거하며 두루 행하여 나는 저희 하나님이 되고 저희는 나의 백성이 되리라 하셨느니라
  What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people."

17. 그러므로 주께서 말씀하시기를 너희는 저희 중에서 나와서 따로 있고 부정한 것을 만지지 말라 내가 너희를 영접하여
  "Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you."

18. 너희에게 아버지가 되고 너희는 내게 자녀가 되리라 전능하신 주의 말씀이니라 하셨느니라
  "I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty."

에스겔 20

1. 제 칠 년 오월 십일에 이스라엘 장로 두어 사람이 여호와께 물으려고 와서 내 앞에 앉으니
  In the seventh year, in the fifth month on the tenth day, some of the elders of Israel came to inquire of the LORD, and they sat down in front of me.

2. 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 가라사대
  Then the word of the LORD came to me:

3. 인자야 이스라엘 장로들에게 고하여 이르기를 주 여호와의 말씀에 너희가 내게 물으려고 왔느냐 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 내가 나의 삶을 두고 맹세하노니 너희가 내게 묻기를 내가 용납지 아니하리라 하셨다 하라
  "Son of man, speak to the elders of Israel and say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Have you come to inquire of me? As surely as I live, I will not let you inquire of me, declares the Sovereign LORD.'

4. 인자야 네가 그들을 국문하려느냐 네가 그들을 국문하려느냐 너는 그들로 그 열조의 가증한 일을 알게 하여
  "Will you judge them? Will you judge them, son of man? Then confront them with the detestable practices of their fathers

5. 이르기를 주 여호와의 말씀에 옛날에 내가 이스라엘을 택하고 야곱 집의 후예를 향하여 맹세하고 애굽 땅에서 그들에게 나타나서 맹세하여 이르기를 나는 여호와 너희 하나님이라 하였었노라
  and say to them: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: On the day I chose Israel, I swore with uplifted hand to the descendants of the house of Jacob and revealed myself to them in Egypt. With uplifted hand I said to them, "I am the LORD your God."

6. 그 날에 내가 그들에게 맹세하기를 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 내어서 그들을 위하여 찾아 두었던 땅 곧 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅이요 모든 땅 중의 아름다운 곳에 이르게 하리라 하고
  On that day I swore to them that I would bring them out of Egypt into a land I had searched out for them, a land flowing with milk and honey, the most beautiful of all lands.

7. 또 그들에게 이르기를 너희는 눈을 드는 바 가증한 것을 각기 버리고 애굽의 우상들로 스스로 더럽히지 말라 나는 여호와 너희 하나님이니라 하였으나
  And I said to them, "Each of you, get rid of the vile images you have set your eyes on, and do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt. I am the LORD your God."

8. 그들이 내게 패역하여 내 말을 즐겨 듣지 아니하고 그 눈을 드는 바 가증한 것을 각기 버리지 아니하며 애굽의 우상들을 떠나지 아니하므로 내가 말하기를 내가 애굽 땅에서 나의 분을 그들의 위에 쏟으며 노를 그들에게 이루리라 하였었노라
  "'But they rebelled against me and would not listen to me; they did not get rid of the vile images they had set their eyes on, nor did they forsake the idols of Egypt. So I said I would pour out my wrath on them and spend my anger against them in Egypt.

9. 그러나 내가 그들의 거하는 이방인의 목전에서 그들에게 나타나서 그들을 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 내었었나니 이는 내 이름을 위함이라 내 이름을 그 이방인의 목전에서 더럽히지 않으려 하여 행하였음이로라
  But for the sake of my name I did what would keep it from being profaned in the eyes of the nations they lived among and in whose sight I had revealed myself to the Israelites by bringing them out of Egypt.

10. 그러므로 내가 그들로 애굽 땅에서 나와서 광야에 이르게 하고
  Therefore I led them out of Egypt and brought them into the desert.

11. 사람이 준행하면 그로 인하여 삶을 얻을 내 율례를 주며 내 규례를 알게 하였고
  I gave them my decrees and made known to them my laws, for the man who obeys them will live by them.

12. 또 나는 그들을 거룩하게 하는 여호와인 줄 알게 하려 하여 내가 내 안식일을 주어 그들과 나 사이에 표징을 삼았었노라
  Also I gave them my Sabbaths as a sign between us, so they would know that I the LORD made them holy.

13. 그러나 이스라엘 족속이 광야에서 내게 패역하여 사람이 준행하면 그로 인하여 삶을 얻을 나의 율례를 준행치 아니하며 나의 규례를 멸시하였고 나의 안식일을 크게 더럽혔으므로 내가 이르기를 내가 내 분노를 광야에서 그들의 위에 쏟아 멸하리라 하였으나
  "'Yet the people of Israel rebelled against me in the desert. They did not follow my decrees but rejected my laws--although the man who obeys them will live by them--and they utterly desecrated my Sabbaths. So I said I would pour out my wrath on them and destroy them in the desert.

14. 내가 내 이름을 위하여 달리 행하였었나니 내가 그들을 인도하여 내는 것을 목도한 열국 앞에서 내 이름을 더럽히지 아니하려 하였음이로라
  But for the sake of my name I did what would keep it from being profaned in the eyes of the nations in whose sight I had brought them out.

15. 또 내가 광야에서 그들에게 맹세하기를 내가 그들에게 허한 땅 곧 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅이요 모든 땅 중의 아름다운 곳으로 그들을 인도하여 들이지 아니하리라 한 것은
  Also with uplifted hand I swore to them in the desert that I would not bring them into the land I had given them--a land flowing with milk and honey, most beautiful of all lands--

16. 그들이 마음으로 우상을 좇아 나의 규례를 업신여기며 나의 율례를 행치 아니하며 나의 안식일을 더럽혔음이니라
  because they rejected my laws and did not follow my decrees and desecrated my Sabbaths. For their hearts were devoted to their idols.

17. 그러나 내가 그들을 아껴 보아 광야에서 멸하여 아주 없이 하지 아니하였었노라
  Yet I looked on them with pity and did not destroy them or put an end to them in the desert.

18. 내가 광야에서 그들의 자손에게 이르기를 너희 열조의 율례를 좇지 말며 그 규례를 지키지 말며 그 우상들로 스스로 더럽히지 말라
  I said to their children in the desert, "Do not follow the statutes of your fathers or keep their laws or defile yourselves with their idols.

19. 나는 여호와 너희 하나님이라 너희는 나의 율례를 좇으며 나의 규례를 지켜 행하고
  I am the LORD your God; follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.

20. 또 나의 안식일을 거룩하게 할찌어다 이것이 나와 너희 사이에 표징이 되어 너희로 내가 여호와 너희 하나님인줄 알게 하리라 하였었노라
  Keep my Sabbaths holy, that they may be a sign between us. Then you will know that I am the LORD your God."

21. 그러나 그 자손이 내게 패역하여 사람이 준행하면 그로 인하여 삶을 얻을 나의 율례를 좇지 아니하며 나의 규례를 지켜 행하지 아니하였고 나의 안식일을 더럽혔는지라 이에 내가 이르기를 내가 광야에서 내 분을 그들의 위에 쏟으며 내 노를 그들에게 이루리라 하였으나
  "'But the children rebelled against me: They did not follow my decrees, they were not careful to keep my laws--although the man who obeys them will live by them--and they desecrated my Sabbaths. So I said I would pour out my wrath on them and spend my anger against them in the desert.

22. 내가 내 이름을 위하여 내 손을 금하고 달리 행하였었나니 내가 그들을 인도하여 내는 것을 목도한 열국 앞에서 내 이름을 더럽히지 아니하려 하였음이로라
  But I withheld my hand, and for the sake of my name I did what would keep it from being profaned in the eyes of the nations in whose sight I had brought them out.

23. 또 내가 광야에서 그들에게 맹세하기를 내가 그들을 이방인 중에 흩으며 열방 중에 헤치리라 하였었나니
  Also with uplifted hand I swore to them in the desert that I would disperse them among the nations and scatter them through the countries,

24. 이는 그들이 나의 규례를 행치 아니하며 나의 율례를 멸시하며 내 안식일을 더럽히고 눈으로 그 열조의 우상들을 사모함이며
  because they had not obeyed my laws but had rejected my decrees and desecrated my Sabbaths, and their eyes lusted after their fathers' idols.

25. 또 내가 그들에게 선치 못한 율례와 능히 살게 하지 못할 규례를 주었고
  I also gave them over to statutes that were not good and laws they could not live by;

26. 그들이 장자를 다 화제로 드리는 그 예물로 내가 그들을 더럽혔음은 그들로 멸망케 하여 나를 여호와인 줄 알게 하려 하였음이니라
  I let them become defiled through their gifts--the sacrifice of every firstborn--that I might fill them with horror so they would know that I am the LORD.'

27. 그런즉 인자야 이스라엘 족속에게 고하여 이르기를 주 여호와의 말씀에 너희 열조가 또 내게 범죄하여 나를 욕되게 하였느니라
  "Therefore, son of man, speak to the people of Israel and say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: In this also your fathers blasphemed me by forsaking me:

28. 내가 그들에게 주기로 맹세한 땅으로 그들을 인도하여 들였더니 그들이 모든 높은 산과 모든 무성한 나무를 보고 거기서 제사를 드리고 격노케 하는 제물을 올리며 거기서 또 분향하고 전제를 부어 드린지라
  When I brought them into the land I had sworn to give them and they saw any high hill or any leafy tree, there they offered their sacrifices, made offerings that provoked me to anger, presented their fragrant incense and poured out their drink offerings.

29. 이에 내가 그들에게 이르기를 너희가 다니는 산당이 무엇이냐 하였노라 (그것을 오늘날까지 바마라 일컫느니라)
  Then I said to them: What is this high place you go to?'" (It is called Bamah to this day.)

30. 그러므로 너는 이스라엘 족속에게 이르기를 주 여호와의 말씀에 너희가 열조의 풍속을 따라 스스로 더럽히며 그 모든 가증한 것을 좇아 행음하느냐
  "Therefore say to the house of Israel: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Will you defile yourselves the way your fathers did and lust after their vile images?

31. 너희가 또 너희 아들로 화제를 삼아 예물로 드려 오늘날까지 우상들로 스스로 더럽히느냐 이스라엘 족속아 너희가 내게 묻기를 내가 용납하겠느냐 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 내가 나의 삶을 두고 맹세하노니 너희가 내게 묻기를 내가 용납지 아니하리라
  When you offer your gifts--the sacrifice of your sons in the fire--you continue to defile yourselves with all your idols to this day. Am I to let you inquire of me, O house of Israel? As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I will not let you inquire of me.

32. 너희가 스스로 이르기를 우리가 이방인 곧 열국 족속같이 되어서 목석을 숭배하리라 하거니와 너희 마음에 품은 것을 결코 이루지 못하리라
  "'You say, "We want to be like the nations, like the peoples of the world, who serve wood and stone." But what you have in mind will never happen.

33. 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 내가 나의 삶을 두고 맹세하노니 내가 능한 손과 편 팔로 분노를 쏟아 너희를 단정코 다스릴찌라
  As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I will rule over you with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm and with outpoured wrath.

34. 능한 손과 편 팔로 분노를 쏟아 너희를 열국 중에서 나오게 하며 너희의 흩어진 열방 중에서 모아 내고
  I will bring you from the nations and gather you from the countries where you have been scattered--with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm and with outpoured wrath.

35. 너희를 인도하여 열국 광야에 이르러 거기서 너희를 대면하여 국문하되
  I will bring you into the desert of the nations and there, face to face, I will execute judgment upon you.

36. 내가 애굽 땅 광야에서 너희 열조를 국문한 것같이 너희를 국문하리라 나 주 여호와의 말이니라
  As I judged your fathers in the desert of the land of Egypt, so I will judge you, declares the Sovereign LORD.

37. 내가 너희를 막대기 아래로 지나게 하며 언약의 줄로 매려니와
  I will take note of you as you pass under my rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant.

38. 너희 가운데서 패역한 자와 내게 범죄한 자를 모두 제하여 버릴찌라 그들을 그 우거하던 땅에서는 나오게 하여도 이스라엘 땅에는 들어 가지 못하게 하리니 너희가 나를 여호와인줄 알리라
  I will purge you of those who revolt and rebel against me. Although I will bring them out of the land where they are living, yet they will not enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the LORD.

39. 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 이스라엘 족속아 너희가 내 말을 듣지 아니하려거든 가서 각각 그 우상을 섬기고 이 후에도 그리하려무나 마는 다시는 너희 예물과 너희 우상들로 내 거룩한 이름을 더럽히지 말찌니라
  "'As for you, O house of Israel, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Go and serve your idols, every one of you! But afterward you will surely listen to me and no longer profane my holy name with your gifts and idols.

40. 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 이스라엘 온 족속이 그 땅에 있어서 내 거룩한 산 곧 이스라엘의 높은 산에서 다 나를 섬기리니 거기서 내가 그들을 기쁘게 받을찌라 거기서 너희 예물과 너희 천신하는 첫 열매와 너희 모든 성물을 요구하리라
  For on my holy mountain, the high mountain of Israel, declares the Sovereign LORD, there in the land the entire house of Israel will serve me, and there I will accept them. There I will require your offerings and your choice gifts, along with all your holy sacrifices.

41. 내가 너희를 인도하여 열국 중에서 나오게 하고 너희의 흩어진 열방 중에서 모아 낼 때에 내가 너희를 향기로 받고 내가 또 너희로 말미암아 내 거룩함을 열국의 목전에서 나타낼 것이며
  I will accept you as fragrant incense when I bring you out from the nations and gather you from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will show myself holy among you in the sight of the nations.

42. 내가 너희 열조에게 주기로 맹세한 땅 곧 이스라엘 땅으로 너희를 인도하여 들일 때에 너희가 나를 여호와인 줄 알고
  Then you will know that I am the LORD, when I bring you into the land of Israel, the land I had sworn with uplifted hand to give to your fathers.

43. 거기서 너희의 길과 스스로 더럽힌 모든 행위를 기억하고 이미 행한 모든 악을 인하여 스스로 미워하리라
  There you will remember your conduct and all the actions by which you have defiled yourselves, and you will loathe yourselves for all the evil you have done.

44. 이스라엘 족속아 내가 너희의 악한 길과 더러운 행위대로 하지 아니하고 내 이름을 위하여 행한 후에야 너희가 나를 여호와인 줄 알리라 나 주 여호와의 말이니라 하셨다 하라
  You will know that I am the LORD, when I deal with you for my name's sake and not according to your evil ways and your corrupt practices, O house of Israel, declares the Sovereign LORD.'"

45. 여호와의 말씀이 또 내게 임하여 가라사대
  The word of the LORD came to me:

46. 인자야 너는 얼굴을 남으로 향하라 남으로 향하여 소리내어 남방들의 삼림을 쳐서 예언하라
  "Son of man, set your face toward the south; preach against the south and prophesy against the forest of the southland.

47. 남방 삼림에게 이르기를 여호와의 말씀을 들을찌어다 주 여호와의 말씀에 내가 너의 가운데 불을 일으켜 모든 푸른 나무와 모든 마른 나무를 멸하리니 맹렬한 불꽃이 꺼지지 아니하고 남에서 북까지 모든 얼굴이 그슬릴찌라
  Say to the southern forest: 'Hear the word of the LORD. This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am about to set fire to you, and it will consume all your trees, both green and dry. The blazing flame will not be quenched, and every face from south to north will be scorched by it.

48. 무릇 혈기 있는 자는 나 여호와가 그 불을 일으킨 줄을 알리니 그것이 꺼지지 아니하리라 하셨다 하라 하시기로
  Everyone will see that I the LORD have kindled it; it will not be quenched.'"

49. 내가 가로되 오호라 주 여호와여 그들이 나를 가리켜 말하기를 그는 비유로 말하는 자가 아니냐 하나이다 하니라
  Then I said, "Ah, Sovereign LORD! They are saying of me, 'Isn't he just telling parables?'"

시편 66-67

1. 온 땅이여 하나님께 즐거운 소리를 발할찌어다
  For the director of music. A song. A psalm. Shout with joy to God, all the earth!

2. 그 이름의 영광을 찬양하고 영화롭게 찬송할찌어다
  Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious!

3. 하나님께 고하기를 주의 일이 어찌 그리 엄위하신지요 주의 큰 권능으로 인하여 주의 원수가 주께 복종할 것이며
  Say to God, "How awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies cringe before you.

4. 온 땅이 주께 경배하고 주를 찬양하며 주의 이름을 찬양하리이다 할찌어다(셀라)
  All the earth bows down to you; they sing praise to you, they sing praise to your name." Selah

5. 와서 하나님의 행하신 것을 보라 인생에게 행하심이 엄위하시도다
  Come and see what God has done, how awesome his works in man's behalf!

6. 하나님이 바다를 변하여 육지 되게 하셨으므로 무리가 도보로 강을 통과하고 우리가 거기서 주로 인하여 기뻐하였도다
  He turned the sea into dry land, they passed through the waters on foot--come, let us rejoice in him.

7. 저가 그 능으로 영원히 치리하시며 눈으로 열방을 감찰하시나니 거역하는 자는 자고하지 말찌어다(셀라)
  He rules forever by his power, his eyes watch the nations--let not the rebellious rise up against him. Selah

8. 만민들아 우리 하나님을 송축하며 그 송축 소리로 들리게 할찌어다
  Praise our God, O peoples, let the sound of his praise be heard;

9. 그는 우리 영혼을 살려 두시고 우리의 실족함을 허락지 아니하시는 주시로다
  he has preserved our lives and kept our feet from slipping.

10. 하나님이여 주께서 우리를 시험하시되 우리를 단련하시기를 은을 단련함같이 하셨으며
  For you, O God, tested us; you refined us like silver.

11. 우리를 끌어 그물에 들게 하시며 어려운 짐을 우리 허리에 두셨으며
  You brought us into prison and laid burdens on our backs.

12. 사람들로 우리 머리 위로 타고 가게 하셨나이다 우리가 불과 물을 통행하였더니 주께서 우리를 끌어내사 풍부한 곳에 들이셨나이다
  You let men ride over our heads; we went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance.

13. 내가 번제를 가지고 주의 집에 들어가서 나의 서원을 갚으리니
  I will come to your temple with burnt offerings and fulfill my vows to you--

14. 이는 내 입술이 발한 것이요 내 환난 때에 내 입이 말한 것이니이다
  vows my lips promised and my mouth spoke when I was in trouble.

15. 내가 수양의 향기와 함께 살진 것으로 주께 번제를 드리며 수소와 염소를 드리리이다(셀라)
  I will sacrifice fat animals to you and an offering of rams; I will offer bulls and goats. Selah

16. 하나님을 두려워하는 너희들아 다 와서 들으라 하나님이 내 영혼을 위하여 행하신 일을 내가 선포하리로다
  Come and listen, all you who fear God; let me tell you what he has done for me.

17. 내가 내 입으로 그에게 부르짖으며 내 혀로 높이 찬송하였도다
  I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue.

18. 내가 내 마음에 죄악을 품으면 주께서 듣지 아니하시리라
  If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened;

19. 그러나 하나님이 실로 들으셨으며 내 기도 소리에 주의하셨도다
  but God has surely listened and heard my voice in prayer.

20. 하나님을 찬송하리로다 저가 내 기도를 물리치지 아니하시고 그 인자하심을 내게서 거두지도 아니하셨도다
  Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me!

1. 하나님은 우리를 긍휼히 여기사 복을 주시고 그 얼굴 빛으로 우리에게 비취사 (셀라)
  For the director of music. With stringed instruments. A psalm. A song. May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine upon us, Selah

2. 주의 도를 땅 위에, 주의 구원을 만방 중에 알리소서
  that your ways may be known on earth, your salvation among all nations.

3. 하나님이여 민족들로 주를 찬송케 하시며 모든 민족으로 주를 찬송케 하소서
  May the peoples praise you, O God; may all the peoples praise you.

4. 열방은 기쁘고 즐겁게 노래할찌니 주는 민족들을 공평히 판단하시며 땅 위에 열방을 치리하실 것임이니이다(셀라)
  May the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you rule the peoples justly and guide the nations of the earth. Selah

5. 하나님이여 민족들로 주를 찬송케 하시며 모든 민족으로 주를 찬송케 하소서
  May the peoples praise you, O God; may all the peoples praise you.

6. 땅이 그 소산을 내었도다 하나님 곧 우리 하나님이 우리에게 복을 주시리로다
  Then the land will yield its harvest, and God, our God, will bless us.

7. 하나님이 우리에게 복을 주시리니 땅의 모든 끝이 하나님을 경외하리로다
  God will bless us, and all the ends of the earth will fear him.
