사무엘하 3

1. 사울의 집과 다윗의 집 사이에 전쟁이 오래매 다윗은 점점 강하여 가고 사울의 집은 점점 약하여 가니라
  The war between the house of Saul and the house of David lasted a long time. David grew stronger and stronger, while the house of Saul grew weaker and weaker.

2. 다윗이 헤브론에서 아들들을 낳았으되 맏아들은 암논이라 이스르엘 여인 아히노암의 소생이요
  Sons were born to David in Hebron: His firstborn was Amnon the son of Ahinoam of Jezreel;

3. 둘째는 길르압이라 갈멜 사람 나발의 아내 되었던 아비가일의 소생이요 세째는 압살롬이라 그술 왕 달매의 딸 마아가의 아들이요
  his second, Kileab the son of Abigail the widow of Nabal of Carmel; the third, Absalom the son of Maacah daughter of Talmai king of Geshur;

4. 네째는 아도니야라 학깃의 아들이요 다섯째는 스바댜라 아비달의 아들이요
  the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith; the fifth, Shephatiah the son of Abital;

5. 여섯째는 이드르암이라 다윗의 아내 에글라의 소생이니 이는 다윗이 헤브론에서 낳은 자들이더라
  and the sixth, Ithream the son of David's wife Eglah. These were born to David in Hebron.

6. 사울의 집과 다윗의 집 사이에 전쟁이 있는 동안에 아브넬이 사울의 집에서 점점 권세를 잡으니라
  During the war between the house of Saul and the house of David, Abner had been strengthening his own position in the house of Saul.

7. 사울에게 첩이 있었으니 이름은 리스바요 아야의 딸이더라 이스보셋이 아브넬에게 이르되 네가 어찌하여 내 아버지의 첩을 통간하였느냐
  Now Saul had had a concubine named Rizpah daughter of Aiah. And Ish-Bosheth said to Abner, "Why did you sleep with my father's concubine?"

8. 아브넬이 이스보셋의 말을 매우 분히 여겨 가로되 내가 유다의 개 대강이뇨 내가 오늘날 당신의 아버지 사울의 집과 그 형제와 그 친구에게 은혜를 베풀어서 당신을 다윗의 손에 내어 주지 아니하였거늘 당신이 오늘날 이 여인에게 관한 허물을 내게 돌리는도다
  Abner was very angry because of what Ish-Bosheth said and he answered, "Am I a dog's head--on Judah's side? This very day I am loyal to the house of your father Saul and to his family and friends. I haven't handed you over to David. Yet now you accuse me of an offense involving this woman!

9. 여호와께서 다윗에게 맹세하신 대로 내가 이루게 아니하면 하나님이 아브넬에게 벌 위에 벌을 내리심이 마땅하니라
  May God deal with Abner, be it ever so severely, if I do not do for David what the LORD promised him on oath

10. 그 맹세는 곧 이 나라를 사울의 집에서 다윗에게 옮겨서 그 위를 단에서 브엘세바까지 이스라엘과 유다에 세우리라 하신 것이니라 하매
  and transfer the kingdom from the house of Saul and establish David's throne over Israel and Judah from Dan to Beersheba."

11. 이스보셋이 아브넬을 두려워하여 감히 한 말도 대답지 못하니라
  Ish-Bosheth did not dare to say another word to Abner, because he was afraid of him.

12. 아브넬이 자기를 대신하여 사자들을 다윗에게 보내어 가로되 이 땅이 뉘 것이니이까 또 가로되 당신은 나로 더불어 언약하사이다 내 손이 당신을 도와 온 이스라엘로 당신에게 돌아가게 하리이다
  Then Abner sent messengers on his behalf to say to David, "Whose land is it? Make an agreement with me, and I will help you bring all Israel over to you."

13. 다윗이 가로되 좋다 내가 너와 언약하려니와 내가 네게 한 가지 일을 요구하노니 나를 보러 올 때에 위선 사울의 딸 미갈을 데리고 오라 그렇지 않으면 내 얼굴을 보지 못하리라 하고
  "Good," said David. "I will make an agreement with you. But I demand one thing of you: Do not come into my presence unless you bring Michal daughter of Saul when you come to see me."

14. 사울의 아들 이스보셋에게 사자들을 보내어 이르되 내 처 미갈을 내게로 돌리라 저는 내가 전에 블레셋 사람의 양피 일백으로 정혼한 자니라
  Then David sent messengers to Ish-Bosheth son of Saul, demanding, "Give me my wife Michal, whom I betrothed to myself for the price of a hundred Philistine foreskins."

15. 이스보셋이 보내어 그 남편 라이스의 아들 발디엘에게서 취하매
  So Ish-Bosheth gave orders and had her taken away from her husband Paltiel son of Laish.

16. 그 남편이 저와 함께 오되 울며 바후림까지 따라왔더니 아브넬이 저에게 돌아가라 하매 돌아가니라
  Her husband, however, went with her, weeping behind her all the way to Bahurim. Then Abner said to him, "Go back home!" So he went back.

17. 아브넬이 이스라엘 장로들에게 말하여 가로되 너희가 여러 번 다윗으로 너희 임금 삼기를 구하였으니
  Abner conferred with the elders of Israel and said, "For some time you have wanted to make David your king.

18. 이제 그대로 하라 여호와께서 이미 다윗에 대하여 말씀하시기를 내가 내 종 다윗의 손으로 내 백성 이스라엘을 구원하여 블레셋 사람의 손과 모든 대적의 손에서 벗어나게 하리라 하셨음이니라 하고
  Now do it! For the LORD promised David, 'By my servant David I will rescue my people Israel from the hand of the Philistines and from the hand of all their enemies.'"

19. 아브넬이 또 베냐민 사람의 귀에 말하고 이스라엘과 베냐민의 온 집이 선히 여기는 모든 것을 다윗의 귀에 고하려고 헤브론으로 가니라
  Abner also spoke to the Benjamites in person. Then he went to Hebron to tell David everything that Israel and the whole house of Benjamin wanted to do.

20. 아브넬이 종자 이십 인으로 더불어 헤브론에 이르러 다윗에게 나아가니 다윗이 아브넬과 그 함께한 사람을 위하여 잔치를 배설하였더라
  When Abner, who had twenty men with him, came to David at Hebron, David prepared a feast for him and his men.

21. 아브넬이 다윗에게 고하되 내가 일어나 가서 온 이스라엘 무리를 내 주 왕의 앞에 모아 더불어 언약하게 하고 마음의 원하시는 대로 모든 것을 다스리시게 하리이다 이에 다윗이 아브넬을 보내매 저가 평안히 가니라
  Then Abner said to David, "Let me go at once and assemble all Israel for my lord the king, so that they may make a compact with you, and that you may rule over all that your heart desires." So David sent Abner away, and he went in peace.

22. 다윗의 신복들과 요압이 적군을 치고 크게 노략한 물건을 가지고 돌아오니 아브넬은 이미 보냄을 받아 평안히 갔고 다윗과 함께 헤브론에 있지 아니한 때라
  Just then David's men and Joab returned from a raid and brought with them a great deal of plunder. But Abner was no longer with David in Hebron, because David had sent him away, and he had gone in peace.

23. 요압과 그 함께한 모든 군사가 돌아오매 혹이 요압에게 고하여 가로되 넬의 아들 아브넬이 왕에게 왔더니 왕이 보내매 저가 평안히 갔나이다
  When Joab and all the soldiers with him arrived, he was told that Abner son of Ner had come to the king and that the king had sent him away and that he had gone in peace.

24. 요압이 왕에게 나아가 가로되 어찌 하심이니이까 아브넬이 왕에게 나아왔거늘 어찌하여 저를 보내어 잘 가게 하셨나이까
  So Joab went to the king and said, "What have you done? Look, Abner came to you. Why did you let him go? Now he is gone!

25. 왕도 아시려니와 넬의 아들 아브넬의 온 것은 왕을 속임이라 왕의 출입하는 것을 알고 모든 하시는 것을 알려 함이니이다 하고
  You know Abner son of Ner; he came to deceive you and observe your movements and find out everything you are doing."

26. 이에 다윗에게서 나와서 사자들을 보내어 아브넬을 쫓아가게 하였더니 시라 우물가에서 저를 데리고 돌아왔으나 다윗은 알지 못하였더라
  Joab then left David and sent messengers after Abner, and they brought him back from the well of Sirah. But David did not know it.

27. 아브넬이 헤브론으로 돌아오매 요압이 더불어 종용히 말하려는 듯이 저를 데리고 성문으로 들어가서 거기서 배를 찔러 죽이니 이는 자기의 동생 아사헬의 피를 인함이더라
  Now when Abner returned to Hebron, Joab took him aside into the gateway, as though to speak with him privately. And there, to avenge the blood of his brother Asahel, Joab stabbed him in the stomach, and he died.

28. 그 후에 다윗이 듣고 이르되 넬의 아들 아브넬의 피에 대하여 나와 내 나라는 여호와 앞에 영원히 무죄하니
  Later, when David heard about this, he said, "I and my kingdom are forever innocent before the LORD concerning the blood of Abner son of Ner.

29. 그 죄가 요압의 머리와 그 아비의 온 집으로 돌아갈찌어다 또 요압의 집에서 백탁병자나 문둥병자나 지팡이를 의지하는 자나 칼에 죽는 자나 양식이 핍절한 자가 끊어지지 아니할찌로다 하니라
  May his blood fall upon the head of Joab and upon all his father's house! May Joab's house never be without someone who has a running sore or leprosy or who leans on a crutch or who falls by the sword or who lacks food."

30. 요압과 그 동생 아비새가 아브넬을 죽인 것은 저가 기브온 전쟁에서 자기 동생 아사헬을 죽인 까닭이었더라
  (Joab and his brother Abishai murdered Abner because he had killed their brother Asahel in the battle at Gibeon.)

31. 다윗이 요압과 및 자기와 함께 있는 모든 백성에게 이르되 너희는 옷을 찢고 굵은 베를 띠고 아브넬 앞에서 애통하라 하니라 다윗 왕이 상여를 따라가서
  Then David said to Joab and all the people with him, "Tear your clothes and put on sackcloth and walk in mourning in front of Abner." King David himself walked behind the bier.

32. 아브넬을 헤브론에 장사하고 아브넬의 무덤에서 소리를 높여 울고 백성도 다 우니라
  They buried Abner in Hebron, and the king wept aloud at Abner's tomb. All the people wept also.

33. 왕이 아브넬을 위하여 애가를 지어 가로되 아브넬의 죽음이 어찌하여 미련한 자의 죽음 같은고
  The king sang this lament for Abner: "Should Abner have died as the lawless die?

34. 네 손이 결박되지 아니하였고 네 발이 착고에 채이지 아니하였거늘 불의한 자식의 앞에 엎드러짐같이 네가 엎드러졌도다 하매 온 백성이 다시 그를 슬퍼하여 우니라
  Your hands were not bound, your feet were not fettered. You fell as one falls before wicked men." And all the people wept over him again.

35. 석양에 뭇 백성이 나아와 다윗에게 음식을 권하니 다윗이 맹세하여 가로되 내가 해지기 전에 떡이나 다른 것을 맛보면 하나님이 내게 벌 위에 벌을 내리심이 마땅하니라 하매
  Then they all came and urged David to eat something while it was still day; but David took an oath, saying, "May God deal with me, be it ever so severely, if I taste bread or anything else before the sun sets!"

36. 온 백성이 보고 기뻐하며 왕이 무슨 일을 하든지 무리가 다 기뻐하므로
  All the people took note and were pleased; indeed, everything the king did pleased them.

37. 이 날에야 온 백성과 온 이스라엘이 넬의 아들 아브넬을 죽인 것이 왕의 한 바가 아닌 줄을 아니라
  So on that day all the people and all Israel knew that the king had no part in the murder of Abner son of Ner.

38. 왕이 그 신복에게 이르되 오늘 이스라엘의 방백이요 또는 대인이 죽은 것을 알지 못하느냐
  Then the king said to his men, "Do you not realize that a prince and a great man has fallen in Israel this day?

39. 내가 기름 부음을 받은 왕이 되었으나 오늘날 약하여서 스루야의 아들인 이 사람들을 제어하기가 너무 어려우니 여호와는 악행한 자에게 그 악한대로 갚으실찌로다 하니라
  And today, though I am the anointed king, I am weak, and these sons of Zeruiah are too strong for me. May the LORD repay the evildoer according to his evil deeds!"

고린도전서 14

1. 사랑을 따라 구하라 신령한 것을 사모하되 특별히 예언을 하려고 하라
  Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy.

2. 방언을 말하는 자는 사람에게 하지 아니하고 하나님께 하나니 이는 알아듣는 자가 없고 그 영으로 비밀을 말함이니라
  For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God. Indeed, no one understands him; he utters mysteries with his spirit.

3. 그러나 예언하는 자는 사람에게 말하여 덕을 세우며 권면하며 안위하는 것이요
  But everyone who prophesies speaks to men for their strengthening, encouragement and comfort.

4. 방언을 말하는 자는 자기의 덕을 세우고 예언하는 자는 교회의 덕을 세우나니
  He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.

5. 나는 너희가 다 방언 말하기를 원하나 특별히 예언하기를 원하노라 방언을 말하는 자가 만일 교회의 덕을 세우기 위하여 통역하지 아니하면 예언하는 자만 못하니라
  I would like every one of you to speak in tongues, but I would rather have you prophesy. He who prophesies is greater than one who speaks in tongues, unless he interprets, so that the church may be edified.

6. 그런즉 형제들아 내가 너희에게 나아가서 방언을 말하고 계시나 지식이나 예언이나 가르치는 것이나 말하지 아니하면 너희에게 무엇이 유익하리요
  Now, brothers, if I come to you and speak in tongues, what good will I be to you, unless I bring you some revelation or knowledge or prophecy or word of instruction?

7. 혹 저나 거문고와 같이 생명 없는 것이 소리를 낼 때에 그 음의 분별을 내지 아니하면 저 부는 것인지 거문고 타는 것인지 어찌 알게 되리요
  Even in the case of lifeless things that make sounds, such as the flute or harp, how will anyone know what tune is being played unless there is a distinction in the notes?

8. 만일 나팔이 분명치 못한 소리를 내면 누가 전쟁을 예비하리요
  Again, if the trumpet does not sound a clear call, who will get ready for battle?

9. 이와 같이 너희도 혀로서 알아듣기 쉬운 말을 하지 아니하면 그 말하는 것을 어찌 알리요 이는 허공에다 말하는 것이라
  So it is with you. Unless you speak intelligible words with your tongue, how will anyone know what you are saying? You will just be speaking into the air.

10. 세상에 소리의 종류가 이같이 많되 뜻 없는 소리는 없나니
  Undoubtedly there are all sorts of languages in the world, yet none of them is without meaning.

11. 그러므로 내가 그 소리의 뜻을 알지 못하면 내가 말하는 자에게 야만이 되고 말하는 자도 내게 야만이 되리니
  If then I do not grasp the meaning of what someone is saying, I am a foreigner to the speaker, and he is a foreigner to me.

12. 그러면 너희도 신령한 것을 사모하는 자인즉 교회의 덕 세우기를 위하여 풍성하기를 구하라
  So it is with you. Since you are eager to have spiritual gifts, try to excel in gifts that build up the church.

13. 그러므로 방언을 말하는 자는 통역하기를 기도할찌니
  For this reason anyone who speaks in a tongue should pray that he may interpret what he says.

14. 내가 만일 방언으로 기도하면 나의 영이 기도하거니와 나의 마음은 열매를 맺히지 못하리라
  For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unfruitful.

15. 그러면 어떻게 할꼬 내가 영으로 기도하고 또 마음으로 기도하며 내가 영으로 찬미하고 또 마음으로 찬미하리라
  So what shall I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my mind; I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my mind.

16. 그렇지 아니하면 네가 영으로 축복할 때에 무식한 처지에 있는 자가 네가 무슨 말을 하는지 알지 못하고 네 감사에 어찌 아멘 하리요
  If you are praising God with your spirit, how can one who finds himself among those who do not understand say "Amen" to your thanksgiving, since he does not know what you are saying?

17. 너는 감사를 잘하였으나 그러나 다른 사람은 덕 세움을 받지 못하리라
  You may be giving thanks well enough, but the other man is not edified.

18. 내가 너희 모든 사람보다 방언을 더 말하므로 하나님께 감사하노라
  I thank God that I speak in tongues more than all of you.

19. 그러나 교회에서 네가 남을 가르치기 위하여 깨달은 마음으로 다섯 마디 말을 하는 것이 일만 마디 방언으로 말하는 것보다 나으니라
  But in the church I would rather speak five intelligible words to instruct others than ten thousand words in a tongue.

20. 형제들아 지혜에는 아이가 되지 말고 악에는 어린아이가 되라 지혜에 장성한 사람이 되라
  Brothers, stop thinking like children. In regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be adults.

21. 율법에 기록된바 주께서 가라사대 내가 다른 방언하는 자와 다른 입술로 이 백성에게 말할찌라도 저희가 오히려 듣지 아니하리라 하였으니
  In the Law it is written: "Through men of strange tongues and through the lips of foreigners I will speak to this people, but even then they will not listen to me," says the Lord.

22. 그러므로 방언은 믿는 자들을 위하지 않고 믿지 아니하는 자들을 위하는 표적이나 예언은 믿지 아니하는 자들을 위하지 않고 믿는 자들을 위함이니
  Tongues, then, are a sign, not for believers but for unbelievers; prophecy, however, is for believers, not for unbelievers.

23. 그러므로 온 교회가 함께 모여 다 방언으로 말하면 무식한 자들이나 믿지 아니하는 자들이 들어와서 너희를 미쳤다 하지 아니하겠느냐
  So if the whole church comes together and everyone speaks in tongues, and some who do not understand or some unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of your mind?

24. 그러나 다 예언을 하면 믿지 아니하는 자들이나 무식한 자들이 들어와서 모든 사람에게 책망을 들으며 모든 사람에게 판단을 받고
  But if an unbeliever or someone who does not understand comes in while everybody is prophesying, he will be convinced by all that he is a sinner and will be judged by all,

25. 그 마음의 숨은 일이 드러나게 되므로 엎드리어 하나님께 경배하며 하나님이 참으로 너희 가운데 계시다 전파하리라
  and the secrets of his heart will be laid bare. So he will fall down and worship God, exclaiming, "God is really among you!"

26. 그런즉 형제들아 어찌할꼬 너희가 모일 때에 각각 찬송시도 있으며 가르치는 말씀도 있으며 계시도 있으며 방언도 있으며 통역함도 있나니 모든 것을 덕을 세우기 위하여 하라
  What then shall we say, brothers? When you come together, everyone has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. All of these must be done for the strengthening of the church.

27. 만일 누가 방언으로 말하거든 두 사람이나 다불과 세 사람이 차서를 따라 하고 한 사람이 통역할 것이요
  If anyone speaks in a tongue, two--or at the most three--should speak, one at a time, and someone must interpret.

28. 만일 통역하는 자가 없거든 교회에서는 잠잠하고 자기와 및 하나님께 말할 것이요
  If there is no interpreter, the speaker should keep quiet in the church and speak to himself and God.

29. 예언하는 자는 둘이나 셋이나 말하고 다른 이들은 분변할 것이요
  Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said.

30. 만일 곁에 앉은 다른이에게 계시가 있거든 먼저 하던 자는 잠잠할찌니라
  And if a revelation comes to someone who is sitting down, the first speaker should stop.

31. 너희는 다 모든 사람으로 배우게 하고 모든 사람으로 권면을 받게 하기 위하여 하나씩 하나씩 예언할 수 있느니라
  For you can all prophesy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged.

32. 예언하는 자들의 영이 예언하는 자들에게 제재를 받나니
  The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets.

33. 하나님은 어지러움의 하나님이 아니시요 오직 화평의 하나님이시니라
  For God is not a God of disorder but of peace. As in all the congregations of the saints,

34. 모든 성도의 교회에서 함과 같이 여자는 교회에서 잠잠하라 저희의 말하는 것을 허락함이 없나니 율법에 이른 것같이 오직 복종할 것이요
  women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says.

35. 만일 무엇을 배우려거든 집에서 자기 남편에게 물을찌니 여자가 교회에서 말하는 것은 부끄러운 것임이라
  If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.

36. 하나님의 말씀이 너희에게로부터 난 것이냐 또는 너희에게만 임한 것이냐
  Did the word of God originate with you? Or are you the only people it has reached?

37. 만일 누구든지 자기를 선지자나 혹 신령한 자로 생각하거든 내가 너희에게 편지한 것이 주의 명령인 줄 알라
  If anybody thinks he is a prophet or spiritually gifted, let him acknowledge that what I am writing to you is the Lord's command.

38. 만일 누구든지 알지 못하면 그는 알지 못한 자니라
  If he ignores this, he himself will be ignored.

39. 그런즉 내 형제들아 예언하기를 사모하며 방언 말하기를 금하지 말라
  Therefore, my brothers, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.

40. 모든 것을 적당하게 하고 질서대로 하라
  But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way.

에스겔 12

1. 여호와의 말씀이 또 내게 임하여 가라사대
  The word of the LORD came to me:

2. 인자야 네가 패역한 족속 중에 거하도다 그들은 볼 눈이 있어도 보지 아니하고 들을 귀가 있어도 듣지 아니하나니 그들은 패역한 족속임이니라
  "Son of man, you are living among a rebellious people. They have eyes to see but do not see and ears to hear but do not hear, for they are a rebellious people.

3. 인자야 너는 행구를 준비하고 낮에 그들의 목전에서 이사하라 네가 네 처소를 다른 곳으로 옮기는 것을 그들이 보면 비록 패역한 족속이라도 혹 생각이 있으리라
  "Therefore, son of man, pack your belongings for exile and in the daytime, as they watch, set out and go from where you are to another place. Perhaps they will understand, though they are a rebellious house.

4. 너는 낮에 그 목전에서 네 행구를 밖으로 내기를 이사하는 행구같이 하고 저물 때에 너는 그 목전에서 밖으로 나가기를 포로되어 가는 자같이 하라
  During the daytime, while they watch, bring out your belongings packed for exile. Then in the evening, while they are watching, go out like those who go into exile.

5. 너는 그 목전에서 성벽을 뚫고 그리로 좇아 옮기되
  While they watch, dig through the wall and take your belongings out through it.

6. 캄캄할 때에 그 목전에서 어깨에 메고 나가며 얼굴을 가리우고 땅을 보지 말찌어다 이는 내가 너를 세워 이스라엘 족속에게 징조가 되게 함이니라 하시기로
  Put them on your shoulder as they are watching and carry them out at dusk. Cover your face so that you cannot see the land, for I have made you a sign to the house of Israel."

7. 내가 그 명대로 행하여 낮에 나의 행구를 이사하는 행구같이 내어 놓고 저물 때에 내 손으로 성벽을 뚫고 캄캄할 때에 행구를 내어다가 그 목전에서 어깨에 메고 나가니라
  So I did as I was commanded. During the day I brought out my things packed for exile. Then in the evening I dug through the wall with my hands. I took my belongings out at dusk, carrying them on my shoulders while they watched.

8. 이튿날 아침에 여호와의 말씀이 또 내게 임하여 가라사대
  In the morning the word of the LORD came to me:

9. 인자야 이스라엘 족속 곧 그 패역한 족속이 네게 묻기를 무엇을 하느냐 하지 아니하더냐
  "Son of man, did not that rebellious house of Israel ask you, 'What are you doing?'

10. 너는 그들에게 말하기를 주 여호와의 말씀에 이것은 예루살렘 왕과 그 가운데 있는 이스라엘 온 족속에 대한 예조라 하셨다 하고
  "Say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: This oracle concerns the prince in Jerusalem and the whole house of Israel who are there.'

11. 또 말하기를 나는 너희 징조라 내가 행한대로 그들이 당하여 사로잡혀 옮겨 갈찌라
  Say to them, 'I am a sign to you.' "As I have done, so it will be done to them. They will go into exile as captives.

12. 무리가 성벽을 뚫고 행구를 그리로 가지고 나가고 그 중에 왕은 어두울 때에 어깨에 행구를 메고 나가며 눈으로 땅을 보지 아니하려고 자기 얼굴을 가리우리라 하라
  "The prince among them will put his things on his shoulder at dusk and leave, and a hole will be dug in the wall for him to go through. He will cover his face so that he cannot see the land.

13. 내가 또 내 그물을 그의 위에 치고 내 올무에 걸리게 하여 그를 끌고 갈대아 땅 바벨론에 이르리니 그가 거기서 죽으려니와 그 땅을 보지 못하리라
  I will spread my net for him, and he will be caught in my snare; I will bring him to Babylonia, the land of the Chaldeans, but he will not see it, and there he will die.

14. 내가 그 호위하는 자와 부대들을 다 사방으로 흩고 또 그 뒤를 따라 칼을 빼리라
  I will scatter to the winds all those around him--his staff and all his troops--and I will pursue them with drawn sword.

15. 내가 그들을 이방인 가운데로 흩으며 열방 중에 헤친 후에야 그들이 나를 여호와인 줄 알리라
  "They will know that I am the LORD, when I disperse them among the nations and scatter them through the countries.

16. 그러나 내가 그 중 몇 사람을 남겨 칼과 기근과 온역을 벗어나게 하여 그들로 이르는 이방인 중에 자기의 모든 가증한 일을 자백하게 하리니 그들이 나를 여호와인 줄 알리라
  But I will spare a few of them from the sword, famine and plague, so that in the nations where they go they may acknowledge all their detestable practices. Then they will know that I am the LORD."

17. 여호와의 말씀이 또 내게 임하여 가라사대
  The word of the LORD came to me:

18. 인자야 너는 떨면서 네 식물을 먹고 놀라고 근심하면서 네 물을 마시며
  "Son of man, tremble as you eat your food, and shudder in fear as you drink your water.

19. 이 땅 백성에게 말하되 주 여호와께서 예루살렘 거민과 이스라엘 땅에 대하여 이르시기를 그들이 근심하면서 그 식물을 먹으며 놀라면서 그 물을 마실 것은 이 땅 모든 거민의 강포를 인하여 땅에 가득한 것이 황무하게 됨이라
  Say to the people of the land: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says about those living in Jerusalem and in the land of Israel: They will eat their food in anxiety and drink their water in despair, for their land will be stripped of everything in it because of the violence of all who live there.

20. 사람의 거하는 성읍들이 황폐하며 땅이 황무하리니 너희가 나를 여호와인 줄 알리라 하셨다 하라
  The inhabited towns will be laid waste and the land will be desolate. Then you will know that I am the LORD.'"

21. 여호와의 말씀이 또 내게 임하여 가라사대
  The word of the LORD came to me:

22. 인자야 이스라엘 땅에서 이르기를 날이 더디고 모든 묵시가 응험이 없다 하는 너희의 속담이 어찜이뇨
  "Son of man, what is this proverb you have in the land of Israel: 'The days go by and every vision comes to nothing'?

23. 그러므로 너는 그들에게 이르기를 주 여호와의 말씀에 내가 이 속담을 그치게 하리니 사람이 다시는 이스라엘 가운데서 이 속담을 못하리라 하셨다 하고 또 그들에게 이르기를 날과 모든 묵시의 응함이 가까우니
  Say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am going to put an end to this proverb, and they will no longer quote it in Israel.' Say to them, 'The days are near when every vision will be fulfilled.

24. 이스라엘 족속 중에 허탄한 묵시나 아첨하는 복술이 다시 있지 못하리라 하라
  For there will be no more false visions or flattering divinations among the people of Israel.

25. 나는 여호와라 내가 말하리니 내가 하는 말이 다시는 더디지 아니하고 응하리라 패역한 족속아 내가 너희 생전에 말하고 이루리라 나 주 여호와의 말이니라 하셨다 하라
  But I the LORD will speak what I will, and it shall be fulfilled without delay. For in your days, you rebellious house, I will fulfill whatever I say, declares the Sovereign LORD.'"

26. 여호와의 말씀이 또 내게 임하여 가라사대
  The word of the LORD came to me:

27. 인자야 이스라엘 족속의 말이 그의 보는 묵시는 여러 날 후의 일이라 그가 먼 때에 대하여 예언하는도다 하나니
  "Son of man, the house of Israel is saying, 'The vision he sees is for many years from now, and he prophesies about the distant future.'

28. 그러므로 너는 그들에게 이르기를 주 여호와의 말씀에 나의 말이 하나도 다시 더디지 않을찌니 나의 한 말이 이루리라 나 주 여호와의 말이니라 하셨다 하라
  "Therefore say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign LORD.'"

시편 51

1. 하나님이여 주의 인자를 좇아 나를 긍휼히 여기시며 주의 많은 자비를 좇아 내 죄과를 도말하소서
  For the director of music. A psalm of David. When the prophet Nathan came to him after David had committed adultery with Bathsheba. Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions.

2. 나의 죄악을 말갛게 씻기시며 나의 죄를 깨끗이 제하소서
  Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.

3. 대저 나는 내 죄과를 아오니 내 죄가 항상 내 앞에 있나이다
  For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me.

4. 내가 주께만 범죄하여 주의 목전에 악을 행하였사오니 주께서 말씀하실 때에 의로우시다 하고 판단하실 때에 순전하시다 하리이다
  Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that you are proved right when you speak and justified when you judge.

5. 내가 죄악 중에 출생하였음이여 모친이 죄 중에 나를 잉태하였나이다
  Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.

6. 중심에 진실함을 주께서 원하시오니 내 속에 지혜를 알게 하시리이다
  Surely you desire truth in the inner parts; you teach me wisdom in the inmost place.

7. 우슬초로 나를 정결케 하소서 내가 정하리이다 나를 씻기소서 내가 눈보다 희리이다
  Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.

8. 나로 즐겁고 기쁜 소리를 듣게 하사 주께서 꺾으신 뼈로 즐거워하게 하소서
  Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones you have crushed rejoice.

9. 주의 얼굴을 내 죄에서 돌이키시고 내 모든 죄악을 도말하소서
  Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity.

10. 하나님이여 내 속에 정한 마음을 창조하시고 내 안에 정직한 영을 새롭게 하소서
  Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

11. 나를 주 앞에서 쫓아내지 마시며 주의 성신을 내게서 거두지 마소서
  Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.

12. 주의 구원의 즐거움을 내게 회복시키시고 자원하는 심령을 주사 나를 붙드소서
  Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

13. 그러하면 내가 범죄자에게 주의 도를 가르치리니 죄인들이 주께 돌아오리이다
  Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will turn back to you.

14. 하나님이여 나의 구원의 하나님이여 피 흘린 죄에서 나를 건지소서 내 혀가 주의 의를 높이 노래하리이다
  Save me from bloodguilt, O God, the God who saves me, and my tongue will sing of your righteousness.

15. 주여 내 입술을 열어 주소서 내 입이 주를 찬송하여 전파하리이다
  O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth will declare your praise.

16. 주는 제사를 즐겨 아니하시나니 그렇지 않으면 내가 드렸을 것이라 주는 번제를 기뻐 아니하시나이다
  You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.

17. 하나님의 구하시는 제사는 상한 심령이라 하나님이여 상하고 통회하는 마음을 주께서 멸시치 아니하시리이다
  The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.

18. 주의 은택으로 시온에 선을 행하시고 예루살렘 성을 쌓으소서
  In your good pleasure make Zion prosper; build up the walls of Jerusalem.

19. 그 때에 주께서 의로운 제사와 번제와 온전한 번제를 기뻐하시리니 저희가 수소로 주의 단에 드리리이다
  Then there will be righteous sacrifices, whole burnt offerings to delight you; then bulls will be offered on your altar.
