사무엘하 6

1. 다윗이 이스라엘에서 뺀 무리 삼만을 다시 모으고
  David again brought together out of Israel chosen men, thirty thousand in all.

2. 일어나서 그 함께 있는 모든 사람으로 더불어 바알레유다로 가서 거기서 하나님의 궤를 메어 오려 하니 그 궤는 그룹들 사이에 좌정하신 만군의 여호와의 이름으로 이름하는 것이라
  He and all his men set out from Baalah of Judah to bring up from there the ark of God, which is called by the Name, the name of the LORD Almighty, who is enthroned between the cherubim that are on the ark.

3. 저희가 하나님의 궤를 새 수레에 싣고 산에 있는 아비나답의 집에서 나오는데 아비나답의 아들 웃사와 아효가 그 새 수레를 모니라
  They set the ark of God on a new cart and brought it from the house of Abinadab, which was on the hill. Uzzah and Ahio, sons of Abinadab, were guiding the new cart

4. 저희가 산에 있는 아비나답의 집에서 하나님의 궤를 싣고 나올 때에 아효는 궤 앞에서 행하고
  with the ark of God on it, and Ahio was walking in front of it.

5. 다윗과 이스라엘 온 족속이 잣나무로 만든 여러 가지 악기와 수금과 비파와 소고와 양금과 제금으로 여호와 앞에서 주악하더라
  David and the whole house of Israel were celebrating with all their might before the LORD, with songs and with harps, lyres, tambourines, sistrums and cymbals.

6. 저희가 나곤의 타작 마당에 이르러서는 소들이 뛰므로 웃사가 손을 들어 하나님의 궤를 붙들었더니
  When they came to the threshing floor of Nacon, Uzzah reached out and took hold of the ark of God, because the oxen stumbled.

7. 여호와 하나님이 웃사의 잘못함을 인하여 진노하사 저를 그 곳에서 치시니 저가 거기 하나님의 궤 곁에서 죽으니라
  The LORD'S anger burned against Uzzah because of his irreverent act; therefore God struck him down and he died there beside the ark of God.

8. 여호와께서 웃사를 충돌하시므로 다윗이 분하여 그 곳을 베레스웃사라 칭하니 그 이름이 오늘까지 이르니라
  Then David was angry because the LORD'S wrath had broken out against Uzzah, and to this day that place is called Perez Uzzah.

9. 다윗이 그 날에 여호와를 두려워하여 가로되 여호와의 궤가 어찌 내게로 오리요 하고
  David was afraid of the LORD that day and said, "How can the ark of the LORD ever come to me?"

10. 여호와의 궤를 옮겨 다윗 성 자기에게로 메어 가기를 즐겨하지 아니하고 치우쳐 가드 사람 오벧에돔의 집으로 메어 간지라
  He was not willing to take the ark of the LORD to be with him in the City of David. Instead, he took it aside to the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite.

11. 여호와의 궤가 가드 사람 오벧에돔의 집에 석 달을 있었는데 여호와께서 오벧에돔과 그 온 집에 복을 주시니라
  The ark of the LORD remained in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite for three months, and the LORD blessed him and his entire household.

12. 혹이 다윗왕에게 고하여 가로되 여호와께서 하나님의 궤를 인하여 오벧에돔의 집과 그 모든 소유에 복을 주셨다 한지라 다윗이 가서 하나님의 궤를 기쁨으로 메고 오벧에돔의 집에서 다윗성으로 올라갈쌔
  Now King David was told, "The LORD has blessed the household of Obed-Edom and everything he has, because of the ark of God." So David went down and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-Edom to the City of David with rejoicing.

13. 여호와의 궤를 멘 사람들이 여섯 걸음을 행하매 다윗이 소와 살진 것으로 제사를 드리고
  When those who were carrying the ark of the LORD had taken six steps, he sacrificed a bull and a fattened calf.

14. 여호와 앞에서 힘을 다하여 춤을 추는데 때에 베 에봇을 입었더라
  David, wearing a linen ephod, danced before the LORD with all his might,

15. 다윗과 온 이스라엘 족속이 즐거이 부르며 나팔을 불고 여호와의 궤를 메어 오니라
  while he and the entire house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouts and the sound of trumpets.

16. 여호와의 궤가 다윗 성으로 들어올 때에 사울의 딸 미갈이 창으로 내다보다가 다윗 왕이 여호와 앞에서 뛰놀며 춤추는 것을 보고 심중에 저를 업신여기니라
  As the ark of the LORD was entering the City of David, Michal daughter of Saul watched from a window. And when she saw King David leaping and dancing before the LORD, she despised him in her heart.

17. 여호와의 궤를 메고 들어가서 다윗이 위하여 친 장막 가운데 그 예비한 자리에 두매 다윗이 번제와 화목제를 여호와 앞에 드리니라
  They brought the ark of the LORD and set it in its place inside the tent that David had pitched for it, and David sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings before the LORD.

18. 다윗이 번제와 화목제 드리기를 마치고 만군의 여호와의 이름으로 백성에게 축복하고
  After he had finished sacrificing the burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD Almighty.

19. 모든 백성 곧 온 이스라엘 무리의 무론 남녀하고 떡 한 개와 고기 한 조각과 건포도 떡 한 덩이씩 나눠 주매 모든 백성이 각기 집으로 돌아가니라
  Then he gave a loaf of bread, a cake of dates and a cake of raisins to each person in the whole crowd of Israelites, both men and women. And all the people went to their homes.

20. 다윗이 자기의 가족에게 축복하러 돌아오매 사울의 딸 미갈이 나와서 다윗을 맞으며 가로되 이스라엘 왕이 오늘날 어떻게 영화로우신지 방탕한 자가 염치없이 자기의 몸을 드러내는 것처럼 오늘날 그 신복의 계집종의 눈 앞에서 몸을 드러내셨도다
  When David returned home to bless his household, Michal daughter of Saul came out to meet him and said, "How the king of Israel has distinguished himself today, disrobing in the sight of the slave girls of his servants as any vulgar fellow would!"

21. 다윗이 미갈에게 이르되 이는 여호와 앞에서 한 것이니라 저가 네 아비와 그 온 집을 버리시고 나를 택하사 나로 여호와의 백성 이스라엘의 주권자를 삼으셨으니 내가 여호와 앞에서 뛰놀리라
  David said to Michal, "It was before the LORD, who chose me rather than your father or anyone from his house when he appointed me ruler over the LORD'S people Israel--I will celebrate before the LORD.

22. 내가 이보다 더 낮아져서 스스로 천하게 보일찌라도 네가 말한바 계집종에게는 내가 높임을 받으리라 한지라
  I will become even more undignified than this, and I will be humiliated in my own eyes. But by these slave girls you spoke of, I will be held in honor."

23. 그러므로 사울의 딸 미갈이 죽는 날까지 자식이 없으니라
  And Michal daughter of Saul had no children to the day of her death.

고린도전서 16

1. 성도를 위하는 연보에 대하여는 내가 갈라디아 교회들에게 명한 것같이 너희도 그렇게 하라
  Now about the collection for God's people: Do what I told the Galatian churches to do.

2. 매주일 첫날에 너희 각 사람이 이를 얻은 대로 저축하여 두어서 내가 갈 때에 연보를 하지 않게 하라
  On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made.

3. 내가 이를 때에 너희의 인정한 사람에게 편지를 주어 너희의 은혜를 예루살렘으로 가지고 가게 하리니
  Then, when I arrive, I will give letters of introduction to the men you approve and send them with your gift to Jerusalem.

4. 만일 나도 가는 것이 합당하면 저희가 나와 함께 가리라
  If it seems advisable for me to go also, they will accompany me.

5. 내가 마게도냐를 지날 터이니 마게도냐를 지난 후에 너희에게 나아가서
  After I go through Macedonia, I will come to you--for I will be going through Macedonia.

6. 혹 너희와 함께 머물며 과동할 듯도 하니 이는 너희가 나를 나의 갈 곳으로 보내어 주게 하려 함이라
  Perhaps I will stay with you awhile, or even spend the winter, so that you can help me on my journey, wherever I go.

7. 이제는 지나는 길에 너희 보기를 원치 아니하노니 이는 주께서 만일 허락하시면 얼마 동안 너희와 함께 유하기를 바람이라
  I do not want to see you now and make only a passing visit; I hope to spend some time with you, if the Lord permits.

8. 내가 오순절까지 에베소에 유하려 함은
  But I will stay on at Ephesus until Pentecost,

9. 내게 광대하고 공효를 이루는 문이 열리고 대적하는 자가 많음이니라
  because a great door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many who oppose me.

10. 디모데가 이르거든 너희는 조심하여 저로 두려움이 없이 너희 가운데 있게 하라 이는 저도 나와 같이 주의 일을 힘쓰는 자임이니라
  If Timothy comes, see to it that he has nothing to fear while he is with you, for he is carrying on the work of the Lord, just as I am.

11. 그러므로 누구든지 저를 멸시하지 말고 평안히 보내어 내게로 오게 하라 나는 저가 형제들과 함께 오기를 기다리노라
  No one, then, should refuse to accept him. Send him on his way in peace so that he may return to me. I am expecting him along with the brothers.

12. 형제 아볼로에 대하여는 저더러 형제들과 함께 너희에게 가라고 내가 많이 권하되 지금은 갈 뜻이 일절 없으나 기회가 있으면 가리라
  Now about our brother Apollos: I strongly urged him to go to you with the brothers. He was quite unwilling to go now, but he will go when he has the opportunity.

13. 깨어 믿음에 굳게 서서 남자답게 강건하여라
  Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong.

14. 너희 모든 일을 사랑으로 행하라
  Do everything in love.

15. 형제들아 스데바나의 집은 곧 아가야의 첫 열매요 또 성도 섬기기로 작정한 줄을 너희가 아는지라 내가 너희를 권하노니
  You know that the household of Stephanas were the first converts in Achaia, and they have devoted themselves to the service of the saints. I urge you, brothers,

16. 이같은 자들과 또 함께 일하며 수고하는 모든 자에게 복종하라
  to submit to such as these and to everyone who joins in the work, and labors at it.

17. 내가 스데바나와 브드나도와 아가이고의 온 것을 기뻐하노니 저희가 너희의 부족한 것을 보충하였음이니라
  I was glad when Stephanas, Fortunatus and Achaicus arrived, because they have supplied what was lacking from you.

18. 저희가 나와 너희 마음을 시원케 하였으니 그러므로 너희는 이런 자들을 알아 주라
  For they refreshed my spirit and yours also. Such men deserve recognition.

19. 아시아의 교회들이 너희에게 문안하고 아굴라와 브리스가와 및 그 집에 있는 교회가 주 안에서 너희에게 간절히 문안하고
  The churches in the province of Asia send you greetings. Aquila and Priscilla greet you warmly in the Lord, and so does the church that meets at their house.

20. 모든 형제도 너희에게 문안하니 너희는 거룩하게 입맞춤으로 서로 문안하라
  All the brothers here send you greetings. Greet one another with a holy kiss.

21. 나 바울은 친필로 너희에게 문안하노니
  I, Paul, write this greeting in my own hand.

22. 만일 누구든지 주를 사랑하지 아니하거든 저주를 받을찌어다 주께서 임하시느니라
  If anyone does not love the Lord--a curse be on him. Come, O Lord!

23. 주 예수 그리스도의 은혜가 너희와 함께 하고
  The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you.

24. 나의 사랑이 그리스도 예수의 안에서 너희 무리와 함께 할찌어다
  My love to all of you in Christ Jesus. Amen.

에스겔 14

1. 이스라엘 장로 두어 사람이 나아와 내 앞에 앉으니
  Some of the elders of Israel came to me and sat down in front of me.

2. 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 가라사대
  Then the word of the LORD came to me:

3. 인자야 이 사람들이 자기 우상을 마음에 들이며 죄악의 거치는 것을 자기 앞에 두었으니 그들이 내게 묻기를 내가 조금인들 용납하랴
  "Son of man, these men have set up idols in their hearts and put wicked stumbling blocks before their faces. Should I let them inquire of me at all?

4. 그런즉 너는 그들에게 말하여 이르라 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 이스라엘 족속 중에 무릇 그 우상을 마음에 들이며 죄악의 거치는 것을 자기 앞에 두고 선지자에게 나아오는 자에게는 나 여호와가 그 우상의 많은 대로 응답하리니
  Therefore speak to them and tell them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: When any Israelite sets up idols in his heart and puts a wicked stumbling block before his face and then goes to a prophet, I the LORD will answer him myself in keeping with his great idolatry.

5. 이는 이스라엘 족속이 다 그 우상으로 인하여 나를 배반하였으므로 내가 그들의 마음에 먹은 대로 그들을 잡으려 함이니라
  I will do this to recapture the hearts of the people of Israel, who have all deserted me for their idols.'

6. 그런즉 너는 이스라엘 족속에게 이르기를 주 여호와의 말씀에 너희는 마음을 돌이켜 우상을 떠나고 얼굴을 돌이켜 모든 가증한 것을 떠나라
  "Therefore say to the house of Israel, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Repent! Turn from your idols and renounce all your detestable practices!

7. 이스라엘 족속과 이스라엘 가운데 우거하는 외인 중에 무릇 나를 떠나고 자기 우상을 마음에 들이며 죄악의 거치는 것을 자기 앞에 두고 자기를 위하여 내게 묻고자 하여 선지자에게 나아오는 자에게는 나 여호와가 친히 응답하여
  "'When any Israelite or any alien living in Israel separates himself from me and sets up idols in his heart and puts a wicked stumbling block before his face and then goes to a prophet to inquire of me, I the LORD will answer him myself.

8. 그 사람을 대적하여 그들로 놀라움과 감계와 속담거리가 되게 하여 내 백성 가운데서 끊으리니 너희가 나를 여호와인 줄 알리라
  I will set my face against that man and make him an example and a byword. I will cut him off from my people. Then you will know that I am the LORD.

9. 만일 선지자가 유혹을 받고 말을 하면 나 여호와가 그 선지자로 유혹을 받게 하였음이어니와 내가 손을 펴서 내 백성 이스라엘 가운데서 그를 멸할 것이라
  "'And if the prophet is enticed to utter a prophecy, I the LORD have enticed that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand against him and destroy him from among my people Israel.

10. 선지자의 죄악과 그에게 묻는 자의 죄악이 같은즉 각각 자기의 죄악을 담당하리니
  They will bear their guilt--the prophet will be as guilty as the one who consults him.

11. 이는 이스라엘 족속으로 다시는 미혹하여 나를 떠나지 않게 하며 다시는 모든 범죄함으로 스스로 더럽히지 않게 하여 그들로 내 백성을 삼고 나는 그들의 하나님이 되려 함이니라 나 주 여호와의 말이니라 하셨다 하라
  Then the people of Israel will no longer stray from me, nor will they defile themselves anymore with all their sins. They will be my people, and I will be their God, declares the Sovereign LORD.'"

12. 여호와의 말씀이 또 내게 임하여 가라사대
  The word of the LORD came to me:

13. 인자야 가령 어느 나라가 불법하여 내게 범죄하므로 내가 손을 그 위에 펴서 그 의뢰하는 양식을 끊어 기근을 내려서 사람과 짐승을 그 나라에서 끊는다 하자
  "Son of man, if a country sins against me by being unfaithful and I stretch out my hand against it to cut off its food supply and send famine upon it and kill its men and their animals,

14. 비록 노아, 다니엘, 욥, 이 세 사람이 거기 있을찌라도 그들은 자기의 의로 자기의 생명만 건지리라 나 주 여호와의 말이니라
  even if these three men--Noah, Daniel and Job--were in it, they could save only themselves by their righteousness, declares the Sovereign LORD.

15. 가령 내가 사나운 짐승으로 그 땅에 통행하여 적막케 하며 황무케 하여 사람으로 그 짐승을 인하여 능히 통행하지 못하게 한다 하자
  "Or if I send wild beasts through that country and they leave it childless and it becomes desolate so that no one can pass through it because of the beasts,

16. 비록 이 세 사람이 거기 있을찌라도 나의 삶을 두고 맹세하노니 그들은 자녀도 건지지 못하고 자기만 건지겠고 그 땅은 황무하리라 나 주 여호와의 말이니라
  as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, even if these three men were in it, they could not save their own sons or daughters. They alone would be saved, but the land would be desolate.

17. 가령 내가 칼로 그 땅에 임하게 하고 명하기를 칼아 이 땅에 통행하라 하여 사람과 짐승을 거기서 끊는다 하자
  "Or if I bring a sword against that country and say, 'Let the sword pass throughout the land,' and I kill its men and their animals,

18. 비록 이 세 사람이 거기 있을찌라도 나의 삶을 두고 맹세하노니 그들은 자녀도 건지지 못하고 자기만 건지리라 나 주 여호와의 말이니라
  as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, even if these three men were in it, they could not save their own sons or daughters. They alone would be saved.

19. 가령 내가 그 땅에 온역을 내려 죽임으로 내 분을 그 위에 쏟아 사람과 짐승을 거기서 끊는다 하자
  "Or if I send a plague into that land and pour out my wrath upon it through bloodshed, killing its men and their animals,

20. 비록 노아, 다니엘, 욥이 거기 있을찌라도 나의 삶을 두고 맹세하노니 그들은 자녀도 건지지 못하고 자기의 의로 자기의 생명만 건지리라 나 주 여호와의 말이니라 하시니라
  as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, even if Noah, Daniel and Job were in it, they could save neither son nor daughter. They would save only themselves by their righteousness.

21. 주 여호와께서 가라사대 내가 나의 네 가지 중한 벌 곧 칼과 기근과 사나운 짐승과 온역을 예루살렘에 함께 내려 사람과 짐승을 그 중에서 끊으리니 그 해가 더욱 심하지 않겠느냐
  "For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: How much worse will it be when I send against Jerusalem my four dreadful judgments--sword and famine and wild beasts and plague--to kill its men and their animals!

22. 그러나 그 가운데 면하는 자가 남아 있어 끌려 나오리니 곧 자녀들이라 그들이 너희에게로 나아오리니 너희가 그 행동과 소위를 보면 내가 예루살렘에 내린 재앙 곧 그 내린 모든 일에 대하여 너희가 위로를 받을 것이라
  Yet there will be some survivors--sons and daughters who will be brought out of it. They will come to you, and when you see their conduct and their actions, you will be consoled regarding the disaster I have brought upon Jerusalem--every disaster I have brought upon it.

23. 너희가 그 행동과 소위를 볼 때에 그들로 인하여 위로를 받고 내가 예루살렘에서 행한 모든 일이 무고히 한 것이 아닌 줄을 알리라 나 주 여호와의 말이니라
  You will be consoled when you see their conduct and their actions, for you will know that I have done nothing in it without cause, declares the Sovereign LORD."

시편 55

1. 하나님이여 내 기도에 귀를 기울이시고 내가 간구할 때에 숨지 마소서
  For the director of music. With stringed instruments. A maskil of David. Listen to my prayer, O God, do not ignore my plea;

2. 내게 굽히사 응답하소서 내가 근심으로 편치 못하여 탄식하오니
  hear me and answer me. My thoughts trouble me and I am distraught

3. 이는 원수의 소리와 악인의 압제의 연고라 저희가 죄악으로 내게 더하며 노하여 나를 핍박하나이다
  at the voice of the enemy, at the stares of the wicked; for they bring down suffering upon me and revile me in their anger.

4. 내 마음이 내 속에서 심히 아파하며 사망의 위험이 내게 미쳤도다
  My heart is in anguish within me; the terrors of death assail me.

5. 두려움과 떨림이 내게 이르고 황공함이 나를 덮었도다
  Fear and trembling have beset me; horror has overwhelmed me.

6. 나의 말이 내가 비둘기같이 날개가 있으면 날아가서 편히 쉬리로다
  I said, "Oh, that I had the wings of a dove! I would fly away and be at rest--

7. 내가 멀리 날아가서 광야에 거하리로다 (셀라)
  I would flee far away and stay in the desert; Selah

8. 내가 피난처에 속히 가서 폭풍과 광풍을 피하리라 하였도다
  I would hurry to my place of shelter, far from the tempest and storm."

9. 내가 성내에서 강포와 분쟁을 보았사오니 주여 저희를 멸하소서 저희 혀를 나누소서
  Confuse the wicked, O Lord, confound their speech, for I see violence and strife in the city.

10. 저희가 주야로 성벽 위에 두루 다니니 성중에는 죄악과 잔해함이 있으며
  Day and night they prowl about on its walls; malice and abuse are within it.

11. 악독이 그 중에 있고 압박과 궤사가 그 거리를 떠나지 않도다
  Destructive forces are at work in the city; threats and lies never leave its streets.

12. 나를 책망한 자가 원수가 아니라 원수일찐대 내가 참았으리라 나를 대하여 자기를 높이는 자가 나를 미워하는 자가 아니라 미워하는 자일찐대 내가 그를 피하여 숨었으리라
  If an enemy were insulting me, I could endure it; if a foe were raising himself against me, I could hide from him.

13. 그가 곧 너로다 나의 동류, 나의 동무요 나의 가까운 친우로다
  But it is you, a man like myself, my companion, my close friend,

14. 우리가 같이 재미롭게 의논하며 무리와 함께 하여 하나님의 집 안에서 다녔도다
  with whom I once enjoyed sweet fellowship as we walked with the throng at the house of God.

15. 사망이 홀연히 저희에게 임하여 산채로 음부에 내려갈찌어다 이는 악독이 저희 거처에 있고 저희 가운데 있음이로다
  Let death take my enemies by surprise; let them go down alive to the grave, for evil finds lodging among them.

16. 나는 하나님께 부르짖으리니 여호와께서 나를 구원하시리로다
  But I call to God, and the LORD saves me.

17. 저녁과 아침과 정오에 내가 근심하여 탄식하리니 여호와께서 내 소리를 들으시리로다
  Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and he hears my voice.

18. 나를 대적하는 자 많더니 나를 치는 전쟁에서 저가 내 생명을 구속하사 평안하게 하셨도다
  He ransoms me unharmed from the battle waged against me, even though many oppose me.

19. 태고부터 계신 하나님이 들으시고 (셀라) 변치 아니하며 하나님을 경외치 아니하는 자에게 보응하시리로다
  God, who is enthroned forever, will hear them and afflict them--Selah men who never change their ways and have no fear of God.

20. 저는 손을 들어 자기와 화목한 자를 치고 그 언약을 배반하였도다
  My companion attacks his friends; he violates his covenant.

21. 그 입은 우유 기름보다 미끄러워도 그 마음은 전쟁이요 그 말은 기름보다 유하여도 실상은 뽑힌 칼이로다
  His speech is smooth as butter, yet war is in his heart; his words are more soothing than oil, yet they are drawn swords.

22. 네 짐을 여호와께 맡겨 버리라 너를 붙드시고 의인의 요동함을 영영히 허락지 아니하시리로다
  Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.

23. 하나님이여 주께서 저희로 파멸의 웅덩이에 빠지게 하시리이다 피를 흘리게 하며 속이는 자들은 저희 날의 반도 살지 못할 것이나 나는 주를 의지하리이다
  But you, O God, will bring down the wicked into the pit of corruption; bloodthirsty and deceitful men will not live out half their days. But as for me, I trust in you.
