여호수아 14-15

1. 이스라엘 자손이 가나안 땅에서 취한 기업 곧 제사장 엘르아살과 눈의 아들 여호수아와 이스라엘 자손 지파의 족장들이 분배한 것이 이 아래와 같으니라
  Now these are the areas the Israelites received as an inheritance in the land of Canaan, which Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun and the heads of the tribal clans of Israel allotted to them.

2. 여호와께서 모세에게 명하신 대로 그들의 기업을 제비뽑아 아홉 지파와 반 지파에게 주었으니
  Their inheritances were assigned by lot to the nine-and-a-half tribes, as the LORD had commanded through Moses.

3. 두 지파와 반 지파의 기업은 모세가 요단 저편에서 주었음이요 레위 자손에게는 그들 가운데서 기업을 주지 아니하였으니
  Moses had granted the two-and-a-half tribes their inheritance east of the Jordan but had not granted the Levites an inheritance among the rest,

4. 요셉 자손은 므낫세와 에브라임의 두 지파가 되었음이라 이 땅에서 레위 사람에게 아무 분깃도 주지 아니하고 오직 거할 성읍들과 가축과 재물을 둘 들만 줄 뿐으로
  for the sons of Joseph had become two tribes--Manasseh and Ephraim. The Levites received no share of the land but only towns to live in, with pasturelands for their flocks and herds.

5. 이스라엘 자손이 여호와께서 모세에게 명하신 것과 같이 행하여 그 땅을 나누었더라
  So the Israelites divided the land, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.

6. 때에 유다 자손이 길갈에 있는 여호수아에게 나아오고 그니스 사람 여분네의 아들 갈렙이 여호수아에게 말하되 여호와께서 가데스 바네아에서 나와 당신에게 대하여 하나님의 사람 모세에게 이르신 일을 당신이 아시는 바라
  Now the men of Judah approached Joshua at Gilgal, and Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him, "You know what the LORD said to Moses the man of God at Kadesh Barnea about you and me.

7. 내 나이 사십 세에 여호와의 종 모세가 가데스 바네아에서 나를 보내어 이 땅을 정탐케 하므로 내 마음에 성실한 대로 그에게 보고하였고
  I was forty years old when Moses the servant of the LORD sent me from Kadesh Barnea to explore the land. And I brought him back a report according to my convictions,

8. 나와 함께 올라갔던 내 형제들은 백성의 간담을 녹게 하였으나 나는 나의 하나님 여호와를 온전히 좇았으므로
  but my brothers who went up with me made the hearts of the people melt with fear. I, however, followed the LORD my God wholeheartedly.

9. 그 날에 모세가 맹세하여 가로되 네가 나의 하나님 여호와를 온전히 좇았은즉 네 발로 밟는 땅은 영영히 너와 네 자손의 기업이 되리라 하였나이다
  So on that day Moses swore to me, 'The land on which your feet have walked will be your inheritance and that of your children forever, because you have followed the LORD my God wholeheartedly.'

10. 이제 보소서 여호와께서 이 말씀을 모세에게 이르신 때로부터 이스라엘이 광야에 행한 이 사십오 년 동안을 여호와께서 말씀하신 대로 나를 생존케 하셨나이다 오늘날 내가 팔십오 세로되
  "Now then, just as the LORD promised, he has kept me alive for forty-five years since the time he said this to Moses, while Israel moved about in the desert. So here I am today, eighty-five years old!

11. 모세가 나를 보내던 날과 같이 오늘날 오히려 강건하니 나의 힘이 그 때나 이제나 일반이라 싸움에나 출입에 감당할 수 있사온즉
  I am still as strong today as the day Moses sent me out; I'm just as vigorous to go out to battle now as I was then.

12. 그 날에 여호와께서 말씀하신 이 산지를 내게 주소서 당신도 그날에 들으셨거니와 그곳에는 아낙 사람이 있고 그 성읍들은 크고 견고할찌라도 여호와께서 혹시 나와 함께 하시면 내가 필경 여호와의 말씀하신대로 그들을 쫓아내리이다
  Now give me this hill country that the LORD promised me that day. You yourself heard then that the Anakites were there and their cities were large and fortified, but, the LORD helping me, I will drive them out just as he said."

13. 여호수아가 여분네의 아들 갈렙을 위하여 축복하고 헤브론을 그에게 주어 기업을 삼게 하매
  Then Joshua blessed Caleb son of Jephunneh and gave him Hebron as his inheritance.

14. 헤브론이 그니스 사람 여분네의 아들 갈렙의 기업이 되어 오늘날까지 이르렀으니 이는 그가 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와를 온전히 좇았음이며
  So Hebron has belonged to Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite ever since, because he followed the LORD, the God of Israel, wholeheartedly.

15. 헤브론의 옛 이름은 기럇 아르바라 아르바는 아낙 사람 가운데 가장 큰 사람이었더라 그 땅에 전쟁이 그쳤더라
  (Hebron used to be called Kiriath Arba after Arba, who was the greatest man among the Anakites.) Then the land had rest from war.

1. 유다 자손의 지파가 그 가족대로 제비뽑은 땅의 극남단은 에돔 지경에 이르고 또 남으로 신 광야까지라
  The allotment for the tribe of Judah, clan by clan, extended down to the territory of Edom, to the Desert of Zin in the extreme south.

2. 그 남편 경계는 염해의 극단 곧 남향한 해만에서부터
  Their southern boundary started from the bay at the southern end of the Salt Sea,

3. 아그랍빔 비탈 남편으로 지나 신에 이르고 가데스 바네아 남편으로 올라가서 헤스론을 지나며 아달로 올라가서 돌이켜 갈가에 이르고
  crossed south of Scorpion Pass, continued on to Zin and went over to the south of Kadesh Barnea. Then it ran past Hezron up to Addar and curved around to Karka.

4. 거기서 아스몬에 이르고 애굽 시내에 미치며 바다에 이르러 경계의 끝이 되나니 이것이 너희 남편 경계가 되리라
  It then passed along to Azmon and joined the Wadi of Egypt, ending at the sea. This is their southern boundary.

5. 그 동편 경계는 염해니 요단 끝까지요 그 북편 경계는 요단 끝에 당한 해만에서부터
  The eastern boundary is the Salt Sea as far as the mouth of the Jordan. The northern boundary started from the bay of the sea at the mouth of the Jordan,

6. 벧호글라로 올라가서 벧 아라바 북편을 지나 르우벤 자손 보한의 돌에 이르고
  went up to Beth Hoglah and continued north of Beth Arabah to the Stone of Bohan son of Reuben.

7. 또 아골 골짜기에서부터 드빌을 지나 북으로 올라가서 강 남편에 있는 아둠밈 비탈 맞은편 길갈을 향하고 나아가 엔 세메스 물을 지나 엔로겔에 이르며
  The boundary then went up to Debir from the Valley of Achor and turned north to Gilgal, which faces the Pass of Adummim south of the gorge. It continued along to the waters of En Shemesh and came out at En Rogel.

8. 또 힌놈의 아들의 골짜기로 올라가서 여부스 곧 예루살렘 남편 어깨에 이르며 또 힌놈의 골짜기 앞 서편에 있는 산 꼭대기로 올라가나니 이 곳은 르바임 골짜기 북편 끝이며
  Then it ran up the Valley of Ben Hinnom along the southern slope of the Jebusite city (that is, Jerusalem). From there it climbed to the top of the hill west of the Hinnom Valley at the northern end of the Valley of Rephaim.

9. 또 이 산꼭대기에서부터 넵도아 샘물까지 이르러 에브론 산 성읍들에 미치고 또 바알라 곧 기럇 여아림에 미치며
  From the hilltop the boundary headed toward the spring of the waters of Nephtoah, came out at the towns of Mount Ephron and went down toward Baalah (that is, Kiriath Jearim).

10. 또 바알라에서부터 서편으로 돌이켜 세일 산에 이르러 여아림 산 곧 그살론 곁 북편에 이르고 또 벧 세메스로 내려가서 딤나로 지나고
  Then it curved westward from Baalah to Mount Seir, ran along the northern slope of Mount Jearim (that is, Kesalon), continued down to Beth Shemesh and crossed to Timnah.

11. 또 에그론 북편으로 나아가 식그론에 이르러 바알라 산에 미치고 얍느엘에 이르나니 그 끝은 바다며
  It went to the northern slope of Ekron, turned toward Shikkeron, passed along to Mount Baalah and reached Jabneel. The boundary ended at the sea.

12. 서편 경계는 대해와 그 해변이니 유다 자손이 그 가족대로 얻은 사면 경계가 이러하니라
  The western boundary is the coastline of the Great Sea. These are the boundaries around the people of Judah by their clans.

13. 여호와께서 여호수아에게 명하신 대로 여호수아가 기럇 아르바 곧 헤브론 성을 유다 자손 중에서 분깃으로 여분네의 아들 갈렙에게 주었으니 아르바는 아낙의 아비였더라
  In accordance with the LORD'S command to him, Joshua gave to Caleb son of Jephunneh a portion in Judah--Kiriath Arba, that is, Hebron. (Arba was the forefather of Anak.)

14. 갈렙이 거기서 아낙의 소생 곧 그 세 아들 세새와 아히만과 달매를 쫓아내었고
  From Hebron Caleb drove out the three Anakites--Sheshai, Ahiman and Talmai--descendants of Anak.

15. 거기서 올라가서 드빌 거민을 쳤는데 드빌의 본 이름은 기럇 세벨이라
  From there he marched against the people living in Debir (formerly called Kiriath Sepher).

16. 갈렙이 말하기를 기럇 세벨을 쳐서 그것을 취하는 자에게는 내가 내 딸 악사를 아내로 주리라 하였더니
  And Caleb said, "I will give my daughter Acsah in marriage to the man who attacks and captures Kiriath Sepher."

17. 갈렙의 아우요 그나스의 아들인 옷니엘이 그것을 취함으로 갈렙이 그 딸 악사를 그에게 아내로 주었더라
  Othniel son of Kenaz, Caleb's brother, took it; so Caleb gave his daughter Acsah to him in marriage.

18. 악사가 출가할 때에 그에게 청하여 자기 아비에게 밭을 구하자 하고 나귀에서 내리매 갈렙이 그에게 묻되 네가 무엇을 원하느냐
  One day when she came to Othniel, she urged him to ask her father for a field. When she got off her donkey, Caleb asked her, "What can I do for you?"

19. 가로되 내게 복을 주소서 아버지께서 나를 남방 땅으로 보내시오니 샘물도 내게 주소서 하매 갈렙이 윗샘과 아랫샘을 그에게 주었더라
  She replied, "Do me a special favor. Since you have given me land in the Negev, give me also springs of water." So Caleb gave her the upper and lower springs.

20. 유다 자손의 지파가 그 가족대로 얻은 기업은 이러하니라
  This is the inheritance of the tribe of Judah, clan by clan:

21. 유다 자손의 지파의 남으로 에돔 경계에 접근한 성읍들은 갑스엘과 에델과 야굴과
  The southernmost towns of the tribe of Judah in the Negev toward the boundary of Edom were: Kabzeel, Eder, Jagur,

22. 기나와 디모나와 아다다와
  Kinah, Dimonah, Adadah,

23. 게데스와 하솔과 잇난과
  Kedesh, Hazor, Ithnan,

24. 십과 델렘과 브알롯과
  Ziph, Telem, Bealoth,

25. 하솔 하닷다와 그리욧 헤스론 곧 하솔과
  Hazor Hadattah, Kerioth Hezron (that is, Hazor),

26. 아맘과 세마와 몰라다와
  Amam, Shema, Moladah,

27. 하살갓다와 헤스몬과 벧 벨렛과
  Hazar Gaddah, Heshmon, Beth Pelet,

28. 하살 수알과 브엘세바와 비스요댜와
  Hazar Shual, Beersheba, Biziothiah,

29. 바알라와 이임과 에셈과
  Baalah, Iim, Ezem,

30. 엘돌랏과 그실과 홀마와
  Eltolad, Kesil, Hormah,

31. 시글락과 맛만나와 산산나와 르바옷과
  Ziklag, Madmannah, Sansannah,

32. 실힘과 아인과 림몬이니 모두 이십구 성읍이요 또 그 촌락이었으며
  Lebaoth, Shilhim, Ain and Rimmon--a total of twenty-nine towns and their villages.

33. 평지에는 에스다올과 소라와 아스나와
  In the western foothills: Eshtaol, Zorah, Ashnah,

34. 사노아와 엔간님과 답부아와 에남과
  Zanoah, En Gannim, Tappuah, Enam,

35. 야르뭇과 아둘람과 소고와 아세가와
  Jarmuth, Adullam, Socoh, Azekah,

36. 사아라임과 아디다임과 그데라와 그데로다임이니 모두 십사 성읍이요 또 그 촌락이었으며
  Shaaraim, Adithaim and Gederah (or Gederothaim)--fourteen towns and their villages.

37. 스난과 하다사와 믹달갓과
  Zenan, Hadashah, Migdal Gad,

38. 딜르안과 미스베와 욕드엘과
  Dilean, Mizpah, Joktheel,

39. 라기스와 보스갓과 에글론과
  Lachish, Bozkath, Eglon,

40. 갑본과 라맘과 기들리스와
  Cabbon, Lahmas, Kitlish,

41. 그데롯과 벧다곤과 나아마와 막게다니 모두 십 륙 성읍이요 또 그 촌락이었으며
  Gederoth, Beth Dagon, Naamah and Makkedah--sixteen towns and their villages.

42. 립나와 에델과 아산과
  Libnah, Ether, Ashan,

43. 입다와 아스나와 느십과
  Iphtah, Ashnah, Nezib,

44. 그일라와 악십과 마레사니 모두 아홉 성읍이요 또 그 촌락이었으며
  Keilah, Aczib and Mareshah--nine towns and their villages.

45. 에그론과 그 향리와 촌락과
  Ekron, with its surrounding settlements and villages;

46. 에그론에서부터 바다까지 아스돗 곁에 있는 모든 성읍과 그 촌락이었으며
  west of Ekron, all that were in the vicinity of Ashdod, together with their villages;

47. 아스돗과 그 향리와 촌락과 가사와 그 향리와 촌락이니 애굽 시내와 대해 가에 이르기까지였으며
  Ashdod, its surrounding settlements and villages; and Gaza, its settlements and villages, as far as the Wadi of Egypt and the coastline of the Great Sea.

48. 산지는 사밀과 얏딜과 소고와
  In the hill country: Shamir, Jattir, Socoh,

49. 단나와 기럇 산나 곧 드빌과
  Dannah, Kiriath Sannah (that is, Debir),

50. 아납과 에스드모와 아님과
  Anab, Eshtemoh, Anim,

51. 고센과 홀론과 길로니 모두 십일 성읍이요 또 그 촌락이었으며
  Goshen, Holon and Giloh--eleven towns and their villages.

52. 아랍과 두마와 에산과
  Arab, Dumah, Eshan,

53. 야님과 벧 답부아와 아베가와
  Janim, Beth Tappuah, Aphekah,

54. 훔다와 기럇 아르바 곧 헤브론과 시올이니 모두 아홉 성읍이요 또 그 촌락이었으며
  Humtah, Kiriath Arba (that is, Hebron) and Zior--nine towns and their villages.

55. 마온과 갈멜과 십과 윳다와
  Maon, Carmel, Ziph, Juttah,

56. 이스르엘과 욕드암과 사노아와
  Jezreel, Jokdeam, Zanoah,

57. 가인과 기브아와 딤나니 모두 열 성읍이요 또 그 촌락이었으며
  Kain, Gibeah and Timnah--ten towns and their villages.

58. 할훌과 벧 술과 그돌과
  Halhul, Beth Zur, Gedor,

59. 마아랏과 벧 아놋과 엘드곤이니 모두 여섯 성읍이요 또 그 촌락이었으며
  Maarath, Beth Anoth and Eltekon--six towns and their villages.

60. 기럇 바알 곧 기럇 여아림과 라빠니 모두 두 성읍이요 또 그 촌락이었으며
  Kiriath Baal (that is, Kiriath Jearim) and Rabbah--two towns and their villages.

61. 광야에는 벧 아라바와 밋딘과 스가가와
  In the desert: Beth Arabah, Middin, Secacah,

62. 닙산과 염성과 엔 게디니 모두 여섯 성읍이요 또 그 촌락이었더라
  Nibshan, the City of Salt and En Gedi--six towns and their villages.

63. 예루살렘 거민 여부스 사람을 유다 자손이 쫓아내지 못하였으므로 여부스 사람이 오늘날까지 유다 자손과 함께 예루살렘에 거하니라
  Judah could not dislodge the Jebusites, who were living in Jerusalem; to this day the Jebusites live there with the people of Judah.

시편 146-147

1. 할렐루야 내 영혼아 여호와를 찬양하라
  Praise the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.

2. 나의 생전에 여호와를 찬양하며 나의 평생에 내 하나님을 찬송하리로다
  I will praise the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.

3. 방백들을 의지하지 말며 도울 힘이 없는 인생도 의지하지 말찌니
  Do not put your trust in princes, in mortal men, who cannot save.

4. 그 호흡이 끊어지면 흙으로 돌아가서 당일에 그 도모가 소멸하리로다
  When their spirit departs, they return to the ground; on that very day their plans come to nothing.

5. 야곱의 하나님으로 자기 도움을 삼으며 여호와 자기 하나님에게 그 소망을 두는 자는 복이 있도다
  Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God,

6. 여호와는 천지와 바다와 그 중의 만물을 지으시며 영원히 진실함을 지키시며
  the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them--the LORD, who remains faithful forever.

7. 압박당하는 자를 위하여 공의로 판단하시며 주린 자에게 식물을 주시는 자시로다 여호와께서 갇힌 자를 해방하시며
  He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets prisoners free,

8. 여호와께서 소경의 눈을 여시며 여호와께서 비굴한 자를 일으키시며 여호와께서 의인을 사랑하시며
  the LORD gives sight to the blind, the LORD lifts up those who are bowed down, the LORD loves the righteous.

9. 여호와께서 객을 보호하시며 고아와 과부를 붙드시고 악인의 길은 굽게 하시는도다
  The LORD watches over the alien and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.

10. 시온아 여호와 네 하나님은 영원히 대대에 통치하시리로다 할렐루야
  The LORD reigns forever, your God, O Zion, for all generations. Praise the LORD.

1. 할렐루야 우리 하나님께 찬양함이 선함이여 찬송함이 아름답고 마땅하도다
  Praise the LORD. How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise him!

2. 여호와께서 예루살렘을 세우시며 이스라엘의 흩어진 자를 모으시며
  The LORD builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the exiles of Israel.

3. 상심한 자를 고치시며 저희 상처를 싸매시는도다
  He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

4. 저가 별의 수효를 계수하시고 저희를 다 이름대로 부르시는도다
  He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name.

5. 우리 주는 광대하시며 능력이 많으시며 그 지혜가 무궁하시도다
  Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit.

6. 여호와께서 겸손한 자는 붙드시고 악인은 땅에 엎드러뜨리시는도다
  The LORD sustains the humble but casts the wicked to the ground.

7. 감사함으로 여호와께 노래하며 수금으로 하나님께 찬양할찌어다
  Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; make music to our God on the harp.

8. 저가 구름으로 하늘을 덮으시며 땅을 위하여 비를 예비하시며 산에 풀이 자라게 하시며
  He covers the sky with clouds; he supplies the earth with rain and makes grass grow on the hills.

9. 들짐승과 우는 까마귀 새끼에게 먹을 것을 주시는도다
  He provides food for the cattle and for the young ravens when they call.

10. 여호와는 말의 힘을 즐거워 아니하시며 사람의 다리도 기뻐 아니하시고
  His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor his delight in the legs of a man;

11. 자기를 경외하는 자와 그 인자하심을 바라는 자들을 기뻐하시는도다
  the LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.

12. 예루살렘아 여호와를 찬송할찌어다 시온아 네 하나님을 찬양할찌어다
  Extol the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise your God, O Zion,

13. 저가 네 문빗장을 견고히 하시고 너의 가운데 자녀에게 복을 주셨으며
  for he strengthens the bars of your gates and blesses your people within you.

14. 네 경내를 평안케 하시고 아름다운 밀로 너를 배불리시며
  He grants peace to your borders and satisfies you with the finest of wheat.

15. 그 명을 땅에 보내시니 그 말씀이 속히 달리는도다
  He sends his command to the earth; his word runs swiftly.

16. 눈을 양털같이 내리시며 서리를 재같이 흩으시며
  He spreads the snow like wool and scatters the frost like ashes.

17. 우박을 떡 부스러기같이 뿌리시나니 누가 능히 그 추위를 감당하리요
  He hurls down his hail like pebbles. Who can withstand his icy blast?

18. 그 말씀을 보내사 그것들을 녹이시고 바람을 불게 하신즉 물이 흐르는도다
  He sends his word and melts them; he stirs up his breezes, and the waters flow.

19. 저가 그 말씀을 야곱에게 보이시며 그 율례와 규례를 이스라엘에게 보이시는도다
  He has revealed his word to Jacob, his laws and decrees to Israel.

20. 아무 나라에게도 이같이 행치 아니하셨나니 저희는 그 규례를 알지 못하였도다 할렐루야
  He has done this for no other nation; they do not know his laws. Praise the LORD.

예레미야 7

1. 여호와께로서 예레미야에게 말씀이 임하니라 가라사대
  This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD:

2. 너는 여호와의 집 문에 서서 이 말을 선포하여 이르기를 여호와께 경배하러 이 문으로 들어가는 유다인아 다 여호와의 말씀을 들으라
  "Stand at the gate of the LORD'S house and there proclaim this message: "'Hear the word of the LORD, all you people of Judah who come through these gates to worship the LORD.

3. 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말씀하시되 너희 길과 행위를 바르게 하라 그리하면 내가 너희로 이 곳에 거하게 하리라
  This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Reform your ways and your actions, and I will let you live in this place.

4. 너희는 이것이 여호와의 전이라, 여호와의 전이라, 여호와의 전이라 하는 거짓말을 믿지 말라
  Do not trust in deceptive words and say, "This is the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD!"

5. 너희가 만일 길과 행위를 참으로 바르게 하여 이웃들 사이에 공의를 행하며
  If you really change your ways and your actions and deal with each other justly,

6. 이방인과 고아와 과부를 압제하지 말며 무죄한 자의 피를 이 곳에서 흘리지 아니하며 다른 신들을 좇아 스스로 해하지 아니하면
  if you do not oppress the alien, the fatherless or the widow and do not shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not follow other gods to your own harm,

7. 내가 너희를 이 곳에 거하게 하리니 곧 너희 조상에게 영원 무궁히 준 이 땅에니라
  then I will let you live in this place, in the land I gave your forefathers for ever and ever.

8. 너희가 무익한 거짓말을 의뢰하는도다
  But look, you are trusting in deceptive words that are worthless.

9. 너희가 도적질하며 살인하며 간음하며 거짓 맹세하며 바알에게 분향하며 너희의 알지 못하는 다른 신들을 좇으면서
  "'Will you steal and murder, commit adultery and perjury, burn incense to Baal and follow other gods you have not known,

10. 내 이름으로 일컬음을 받는 이 집에 들어와서 내 앞에 서서 말하기를 우리가 구원을 얻었나이다 하느냐 이는 이 모든 가증한 일을 행하려 함이로다
  and then come and stand before me in this house, which bears my Name, and say, "We are safe"--safe to do all these detestable things?

11. 내 이름으로 일컬음을 받는 이 집이 너희 눈에는 도적의 굴혈로 보이느냐 보라 나 곧 내가 그것을 보았노라 여호와의 말이니라
  Has this house, which bears my Name, become a den of robbers to you? But I have been watching! declares the LORD.

12. 너희는 내가 처음으로 내 이름을 둔 처소 실로에 가서 내 백성 이스라엘의 악을 인하여 내가 어떻게 행한 것을 보라
  "'Go now to the place in Shiloh where I first made a dwelling for my Name, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of my people Israel.

13. 나 여호와가 말하노라 이제 너희가 그 모든 일을 행하였으며 내가 너희에게 말하되 새벽부터 부지런히 말하여도 듣지 아니하였고 너희를 불러도 대답지 아니하였느니라
  While you were doing all these things, declares the LORD, I spoke to you again and again, but you did not listen; I called you, but you did not answer.

14. 그러므로 내가 실로에 행함같이 너희가 의뢰하는 바 내 이름으로 일컬음을 받는 이 집 곧 너희와 너희 열조에게 준 이 곳에 행하겠고
  Therefore, what I did to Shiloh I will now do to the house that bears my Name, the temple you trust in, the place I gave to you and your fathers.

15. 내가 너희 모든 형제 곧 에브라임 온 자손을 쫓아냄 같이 내 앞에서 너희를 쫓아내리라 하셨다 할찌니라
  I will thrust you from my presence, just as I did all your brothers, the people of Ephraim.'

16. 그런즉 너는 이 백성을 위하여 기도하지 말라 그들을 위하여 부르짖어 구하지 말라 내게 간구하지 말라 내가 너를 듣지 아니하리라
  "So do not pray for this people nor offer any plea or petition for them; do not plead with me, for I will not listen to you.

17. 너는 그들이 유다 성읍들과 예루살렘 거리에서 행하는 일을 보지 못하느냐
  Do you not see what they are doing in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

18. 자식들은 나무를 줍고 아비들은 불을 피우며 부녀들은 가루를 반죽하여 하늘 황후를 위하여 과자를 만들며 그들이 또 다른 신들에게 전제를 부음으로 나의 노를 격동하느니라
  The children gather wood, the fathers light the fire, and the women knead the dough and make cakes of bread for the Queen of Heaven. They pour out drink offerings to other gods to provoke me to anger.

19. 나 여호와가 말하노라 그들이 나를 격노케 함이냐 어찌 자기 얼굴에 수욕을 자취함이 아니냐
  But am I the one they are provoking? declares the LORD. Are they not rather harming themselves, to their own shame?

20. 그러므로 주 여호와 내가 이같이 말하노라 보라 나의 진노와 분한을 이 곳에 붓되 사람과 짐승과 들나무와 땅의 소산에 부으리니 불같이 살라지고 꺼지지 아니하리라 하시니라
  "'Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: My anger and my wrath will be poured out on this place, on man and beast, on the trees of the field and on the fruit of the ground, and it will burn and not be quenched.

21. 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말씀하시되 너희 희생에 번제물을 아울러 그 고기를 먹으라
  "'This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Go ahead, add your burnt offerings to your other sacrifices and eat the meat yourselves!

22. 대저 내가 너희 열조를 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 낸 날에 번제나 희생에 대하여 말하지 아니하며 명하지 아니하고
  For when I brought your forefathers out of Egypt and spoke to them, I did not just give them commands about burnt offerings and sacrifices,

23. 오직 내가 이것으로 그들에게 명하여 이르기를 너희는 내 목소리를 들으라 그리하면 나는 너희 하나님이 되겠고 너희는 내 백성이 되리라 너희는 나의 명한 모든 길로 행하라 그리하면 복을 받으리라 하였으나
  but I gave them this command: Obey me, and I will be your God and you will be my people. Walk in all the ways I command you, that it may go well with you.

24. 그들이 청종치 아니하며 귀를 기울이지도 아니하고 자기의 악한 마음의 꾀와 강퍅한 대로 행하여 그 등을 내게로 향하고 그 얼굴을 향치 아니하였으며
  But they did not listen or pay attention; instead, they followed the stubborn inclinations of their evil hearts. They went backward and not forward.

25. 너희 열조가 애굽 땅에서 나온 날부터 오늘까지 내가 내 종 선지자들을 너희에게 보내었으되 부지런히 보내었으나
  From the time your forefathers left Egypt until now, day after day, again and again I sent you my servants the prophets.

26. 너희가 나를 청종치 아니하며 귀를 기울이지 아니하고 목을 굳게 하여 너희 열조보다 악을 더 행하였느니라
  But they did not listen to me or pay attention. They were stiff-necked and did more evil than their forefathers.'

27. 네가 그들에게 이 모든 말을 할찌라도 그들이 너를 청종치 아니 할 것이요 네가 그들을 불러도 그들이 네게 대답지 아니하리니
  "When you tell them all this, they will not listen to you; when you call to them, they will not answer.

28. 너는 그들에게 말하기를 너희는 너희 하나님 여호와의 목소리를 청종치 아니하며 교훈을 받지 아니하는 국민이라 진실이 없어져 너희 입에서 끊어졌다 할찌니라
  Therefore say to them, 'This is the nation that has not obeyed the LORD its God or responded to correction. Truth has perished; it has vanished from their lips.

29. 예루살렘아 너의 머리털을 베어 버리고 자산 위에서 호곡할찌어다 여호와께서 그 노하신바 이 세대를 끊어버리셨음이니라
  Cut off your hair and throw it away; take up a lament on the barren heights, for the LORD has rejected and abandoned this generation that is under his wrath.

30. 여호와께서 말씀하시되 유다 자손이 나의 목전에 악을 행하여 내 이름으로 일컬음을 받는 집에 그들의 가증한 것을 두어 집을 더럽혔으며
  "'The people of Judah have done evil in my eyes, declares the LORD. They have set up their detestable idols in the house that bears my Name and have defiled it.

31. 힌놈의 아들 골짜기에 도벳 사당을 건축하고 그 자녀를 불에 살랐나니 내가 명하지 아니하였고 내 마음에 생각지도 아니한 일이니라
  They have built the high places of Topheth in the Valley of Ben Hinnom to burn their sons and daughters in the fire--something I did not command, nor did it enter my mind.

32. 그러므로 나 여호와가 말하노라 날이 이르면 이 곳을 도벳이라 하거나 힌놈의 아들의 골짜기라 칭하지 아니하고 살륙의 골짜기라 칭하리니 매장할 자리가 없도록 도벳에 장사함을 인함이니라
  So beware, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when people will no longer call it Topheth or the Valley of Ben Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter, for they will bury the dead in Topheth until there is no more room.

33. 이 백성의 시체가 공중의 새와 땅 짐승의 밥이 될 것이나 그것을 쫓을 자가 없을 것이라
  Then the carcasses of this people will become food for the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth, and there will be no one to frighten them away.

34. 그 때에 내가 유다 성읍들과 예루살렘 거리에 기뻐하는 소리, 즐기는 소리, 신랑의 소리, 신부의 소리가 끊쳐지게 하리니 땅이 황폐하리라
  I will bring an end to the sounds of joy and gladness and to the voices of bride and bridegroom in the towns of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem, for the land will become desolate.

마태복음 21

1. 저희가 예루살렘에 가까이 와서 감람 산 벳바게에 이르렀을 때에 예수께서 두 제자를 보내시며
  As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples,

2. 이르시되 너희 맞은편 마을로 가라 곧 매인 나귀와 나귀 새끼가 함께 있는 것을 보리니 풀어 내게로 끌고 오너라
  saying to them, "Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me.

3. 만일 누가 무슨 말을 하거든 주가 쓰시겠다 하라 그리하면 즉시 보내리라 하시니
  If anyone says anything to you, tell him that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away."

4. 이는 선지자로 하신 말씀을 이루려 하심이라 일렀으되
  This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet:

5. 시온 딸에게 이르기를 네 왕이 네게 임하나니 그는 겸손하여 나귀, 곧 멍에 메는 짐승의 새끼를 탔도다 하라 하였느니라
  "Say to the Daughter of Zion, 'See, your king comes to you, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.'"

6. 제자들이 가서 예수의 명하신 대로 하여
  The disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them.

7. 나귀와 나귀 새끼를 끌고 와서 자기들의 겉옷을 그 위에 얹으매 예수께서 그 위에 타시니
  They brought the donkey and the colt, placed their cloaks on them, and Jesus sat on them.

8. 무리의 대부분은 그 겉옷을 길에 펴며 다른이는 나무 가지를 베어 길에 펴고
  A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.

9. 앞에서 가고 뒤에서 따르는 무리가 소리질러 가로되 호산나 다윗의 자손이여 찬송하리로다 주의 이름으로 오시는 이여 가장 높은 곳에서 호산나 하더라
  The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, "Hosanna to the Son of David!" "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!" "Hosanna in the highest!"

10. 예수께서 예루살렘에 들어가시니 온 성이 소동하여 가로되 이는 누구뇨 하거늘
  When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, "Who is this?"

11. 무리가 가로되 갈릴리 나사렛에서 나온 선지자 예수라 하니라
  The crowds answered, "This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee."

12. 예수께서 성전에 들어가사 성전 안에서 매매하는 모든 자를 내어쫓으시며 돈 바꾸는 자들의 상과 비둘기 파는 자들의 의자를 둘러 엎으시고
  Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves.

13. 저희에게 이르시되 기록된 바 내 집은 기도하는 집이라 일컬음을 받으리라 하였거늘 너희는 강도의 굴혈을 만드는도다 하시니라
  "It is written," he said to them, "'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are making it a 'den of robbers.'"

14. 소경과 저는 자들이 성전에서 예수께 나아오매 고쳐 주시니
  The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and he healed them.

15. 대제사장들과 서기관들이 예수의 하시는 이상한 일과 또 성전에서 소리질러 호산나 다윗의 자손이여 하는 아이들을 보고 분하여
  But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple area, "Hosanna to the Son of David," they were indignant.

16. 예수께 말하되 저희의 하는 말을 듣느뇨 예수께서 가라사대 그렇다 어린 아기와 젖먹이들의 입에서 나오는 찬미를 온전케 하셨나이다 함을 너희가 읽어 본 일이 없느냐 하시고
  "Do you hear what these children are saying?" they asked him. "Yes," replied Jesus, "have you never read, "'From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise'?"

17. 그들을 떠나 성 밖으로 베다니에 가서 거기서 유하시니라
  And he left them and went out of the city to Bethany, where he spent the night.

18. 이른 아침에 성으로 들어오실 때에 시장하신지라
  Early in the morning, as he was on his way back to the city, he was hungry.

19. 길가에서 한 무화과나무를 보시고 그리로 가사 잎사귀밖에 아무것도 얻지 못하시고 나무에게 이르시되 이제부터 영원토록 네게 열매가 맺지 못하리라 하시니 무화과나무가 곧 마른지라
  Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, "May you never bear fruit again!" Immediately the tree withered.

20. 제자들이 보고 이상히 여겨 가로되 무화과나무가 어찌하여 곧 말랐나이까
  When the disciples saw this, they were amazed. "How did the fig tree wither so quickly?" they asked.

21. 예수께서 대답하여 가라사대 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 만일 너희가 믿음이 있고 의심치 아니하면 이 무화과나무에게 된 이런 일만 할 뿐 아니라 이 산더러 들려 바다에 던지우라 하여도 될 것이요
  Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done.

22. 너희가 기도할 때에 무엇이든지 믿고 구하는 것은 다 받으리라 하시니라
  If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer."

23. 예수께서 성전에 들어가 가르치실쌔 대제사장들과 백성의 장로들이 나아와 가로되 네가 무슨권세로 이런 일을 하느뇨 또 누가 이 권세를 주었느뇨
  Jesus entered the temple courts, and, while he was teaching, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to him. "By what authority are you doing these things?" they asked. "And who gave you this authority?"

24. 예수께서 대답하시되 나도 한 말을 너희에게 물으리니 너희가 대답하면 나도 무슨 권세로 이런 일을 하는지 이르리라
  Jesus replied, "I will also ask you one question. If you answer me, I will tell you by what authority I am doing these things.

25. 요한의 세례가 어디로서 왔느냐 하늘로서냐 사람에게로서냐 저희가 서로 의논하여 가로되 만일 하늘로서라 하면 어찌하여 저를 믿지 아니하였느냐 할 것이요
  John's baptism--where did it come from? Was it from heaven, or from men?" They discussed it among themselves and said, "If we say, 'From heaven,' he will ask, 'Then why didn't you believe him?'

26. 만일 사람에게로서라 하면 모든 사람이 요한을 선지자로 여기니 백성이 무섭다 하여
  But if we say, 'From men'--we are afraid of the people, for they all hold that John was a prophet."

27. 예수께 대답하여 가로되 우리가 알지 못하노라 하니 예수께서 가라사대 나도 무슨 권세로 이런 일을 하는지 너희에게 이르지 아니하리라
  So they answered Jesus, "We don't know." Then he said, "Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.

28. 그러나 너희 생각에는 어떠하뇨 한 사람이 두 아들이 있는데 맏아들에게 가서 이르되 얘 오늘 포도원에 가서 일하라 하니
  "What do you think? There was a man who had two sons. He went to the first and said, 'Son, go and work today in the vineyard.'

29. 대답하여 가로되 아버지여 가겠소이다 하더니 가지 아니하고
  "'I will not,' he answered, but later he changed his mind and went.

30. 둘째 아들에게 가서 또 이같이 말하니 대답하여 가로되 싫소이다 하더니 그 후에 뉘우치고 갔으니
  "Then the father went to the other son and said the same thing. He answered, 'I will, sir,' but he did not go.

31. 그 둘 중에 누가 아비의 뜻대로 하였느뇨 가로되 둘째 아들이니이다 예수께서 저희에게 이르시되 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 세리들과 창기들이 너희보다 먼저 하나님의 나라에 들어가리라
  "Which of the two did what his father wanted?" "The first," they answered. Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you.

32. 요한이 의의 도로 너희에게 왔거늘 너희는 저를 믿지 아니하였으되 세리와 창기는 믿었으며 너희는 이것을 보고도 종시 뉘우쳐 믿지 아니하였도다
  For John came to you to show you the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes did. And even after you saw this, you did not repent and believe him.

33. 다시 한 비유를 들으라 한 집주인이 포도원을 만들고 산울로 두르고 거기 즙 짜는 구유를 파고 망대를 짓고 농부들에게 세로 주고 타국에 갔더니
  "Listen to another parable: There was a landowner who planted a vineyard. He put a wall around it, dug a winepress in it and built a watchtower. Then he rented the vineyard to some farmers and went away on a journey.

34. 실과 때가 가까우매 그 실과를 받으려고 자기 종들을 농부들에게 보내니
  When the harvest time approached, he sent his servants to the tenants to collect his fruit.

35. 농부들이 종들을 잡아 하나는 심히 때리고 하나는 죽이고 하나는 돌로 쳤거늘
  "The tenants seized his servants; they beat one, killed another, and stoned a third.

36. 다시 다른 종들을 처음보다 많이 보내니 저희에게도 그렇게 하였는지라
  Then he sent other servants to them, more than the first time, and the tenants treated them the same way.

37. 후에 자기 아들을 보내며 가로되 저희가 내 아들은 공경하리라 하였더니
  Last of all, he sent his son to them. 'They will respect my son,' he said.

38. 농부들이 그 아들을 보고 서로 말하되 이는 상속자니 자 죽이고 그의 유업을 차지하자 하고
  "But when the tenants saw the son, they said to each other, 'This is the heir. Come, let's kill him and take his inheritance.'

39. 이에 잡아 포도원 밖에 내어좇아 죽였느니라
  So they took him and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him.

40. 그러면 포도원 주인이 올 때에 이 농부들을 어떻게 하겠느뇨
  "Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?"

41. 저희가 말하되 이 악한 자들을 진멸하고 포도원은 제때에 실과를 바칠만한 다른 농부들에게 세로 줄찌니이다
  "He will bring those wretches to a wretched end," they replied, "and he will rent the vineyard to other tenants, who will give him his share of the crop at harvest time."

42. 예수께서 가라사대 너희가 성경에 건축자들의 버린 돌이 모퉁이의 머릿돌이 되었나니 이것은 주로 말미암아 된 것이요 우리 눈에 기이하도다 함을 읽어 본 일이 없느냐
  Jesus said to them, "Have you never read in the Scriptures: "'The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes'?

43. 그러므로 내가 너희에게 이르노니 하나님의 나라를 너희는 빼앗기고 그 나라의 열매 맺는 백성이 받으리라
  "Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit.

44. 이 돌 위에 떨어지는 자는 깨어지겠고 이 돌이 사람 위에 떨어지면 저를 가루로 만들어 흩으리라 하시니
  He who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, but he on whom it falls will be crushed."

45. 대제사장들과 바리새인들이 예수의 비유를 듣고 자기들을 가리켜 말씀하심인 줄 알고
  When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard Jesus' parables, they knew he was talking about them.

46. 잡고자 하나 무리를 무서워하니 이는 저희가 예수를 선지자로 앎이었더라
  They looked for a way to arrest him, but they were afraid of the crowd because the people held that he was a prophet.
