민수기 36

1. 요셉 자손의 가족 중 므낫세의 손자 마길의 아들 길르앗 자손 가족의 두령들이 나아와 모세와 이스라엘 자손의 두령 된 족장들 앞에 말하여
  The family heads of the clan of Gilead son of Makir, the son of Manasseh, who were from the clans of the descendants of Joseph, came and spoke before Moses and the leaders, the heads of the Israelite families.

2. 가로되 여호와께서 우리 주에게 명하사 이스라엘 자손에게 그 기업의 땅을 제비뽑아 주게 하셨고 여호와께서 또 우리 주에게 명하사 우리 형제 슬로브핫의 기업으로 그 딸들에게 주게 하셨은즉
  They said, "When the LORD commanded my lord to give the land as an inheritance to the Israelites by lot, he ordered you to give the inheritance of our brother Zelophehad to his daughters.

3. 그들이 만일 이스라엘 자손의 다른 지파 남자들에게 시집가면 그들의 기업은 우리 조상의 기업에서 감삭되고 그들의 속할 그 지파의 기업에 첨가되리니 그러면 우리 제비뽑은 기업에서 감삭될 것이요
  Now suppose they marry men from other Israelite tribes; then their inheritance will be taken from our ancestral inheritance and added to that of the tribe they marry into. And so part of the inheritance allotted to us will be taken away.

4. 이스라엘 자손의 희년을 당하여 그 기업이 그가 속한 지파에 첨가될 것이라 그런즉 그들의 기업은 우리 조상 지파의 기업에서 아주 감삭되리이다
  When the Year of Jubilee for the Israelites comes, their inheritance will be added to that of the tribe into which they marry, and their property will be taken from the tribal inheritance of our forefathers."

5. 모세가 여호와의 말씀으로 이스라엘에게 명하여 가로되 요셉 자손 지파의 말이 옳도다
  Then at the LORD'S command Moses gave this order to the Israelites: "What the tribe of the descendants of Joseph is saying is right.

6. 슬로브핫의 딸들에게 대한 여호와의 명이 이러하니라 이르시되 슬로브핫의 딸들은 마음대로 시집가려니와 오직 그 조상 지파의 가족에게로만 시집갈찌니
  This is what the LORD commands for Zelophehad's daughters: They may marry anyone they please as long as they marry within the tribal clan of their father.

7. 그리하면 이스라엘 자손의 기업이 이 지파에서 저 지파로 옮기지 않고 이스라엘 자손이 다 각기 조상 지파의 기업을 지킬 것이니라 하셨나니
  No inheritance in Israel is to pass from tribe to tribe, for every Israelite shall keep the tribal land inherited from his forefathers.

8. 이스라엘 자손의 지파 중 무릇 그 기업을 이은 딸들은 자기 조상 지파 가족 되는 사람에게로 시집갈 것이라 그리하면 이스라엘 자손이 각기 조상의 기업을 보존하게 되어서
  Every daughter who inherits land in any Israelite tribe must marry someone in her father's tribal clan, so that every Israelite will possess the inheritance of his fathers.

9. 그 기업으로 이 지파에서 저 지파로 옮기게 하지 아니하고 이스라엘 자손 지파가 각각 자기 기업을 지키리라
  No inheritance may pass from tribe to tribe, for each Israelite tribe is to keep the land it inherits."

10. 슬로브핫의 딸들이 여호와께서 모세에게 명하신 대로 행하니라
  So Zelophehad's daughters did as the LORD commanded Moses.

11. 슬로브핫의 딸 말라와 디르사와 호글라와 밀가와 노아가 다 그 아비 형제의 아들들에게로 시집가되
  Zelophehad's daughters--Mahlah, Tirzah, Hoglah, Milcah and Noah--married their cousins on their father's side.

12. 그들이 요셉의 아들 므낫세 자손의 가족에게로 시집간 고로 그 기업이 그 아비 가족의 지파에 여전히 있었더라
  They married within the clans of the descendants of Manasseh son of Joseph, and their inheritance remained in their father's clan and tribe.

13. 이는 여리고 맞은편 요단 가 모압 평지에서 여호와께서 모세로 이스라엘 자손에게 명하신 명령과 규례니라
  These are the commands and regulations the LORD gave through Moses to the Israelites on the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho.

시편 80

1. 요셉을 양 떼같이 인도하시는 이스라엘의 목자여 귀를 기울이소서 그룹 사이에 좌정하신 자여 빛을 비취소서
  For the director of music. To the tune of"The Lilies of the Covenant." Of Asaph. A psalm. Hear us, O Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock; you who sit enthroned between the cherubim, shine forth

2. 에브라임과 베냐민과 므낫세 앞에서 주의 용력을 내사 우리를 구원하러 오소서
  before Ephraim, Benjamin and Manasseh. Awaken your might; come and save us.

3. 하나님이여 우리를 돌이키시고 주의 얼굴 빛을 비취사 우리로 구원을 얻게 하소서
  Restore us, O God; make your face shine upon us, that we may be saved.

4. 만군의 하나님 여호와여 주의 백성의 기도에 대하여 어느 때까지 노하시리이까
  O LORD God Almighty, how long will your anger smolder against the prayers of your people?

5. 주께서 저희를 눈물 양식으로 먹이시며 다량의 눈물을 마시게 하셨나이다
  You have fed them with the bread of tears; you have made them drink tears by the bowlful.

6. 우리로 우리 이웃에게 다툼거리가 되게 하시니 우리 원수들이 서로 웃나이다
  You have made us a source of contention to our neighbors, and our enemies mock us.

7. 만군의 하나님이여 우리를 돌이키시고 주의 얼굴 빛을 비취사 우리로 구원을 얻게 하소서
  Restore us, O God Almighty; make your face shine upon us, that we may be saved.

8. 주께서 한 포도나무를 애굽에서 가져다가 열방을 쫓아내시고 이를 심으셨나이다
  You brought a vine out of Egypt; you drove out the nations and planted it.

9. 주께서 그 앞서 준비하셨으므로 그 뿌리가 깊이 박혀서 땅에 편만하며
  You cleared the ground for it, and it took root and filled the land.

10. 그 그늘이 산들을 가리우고 그 가지는 하나님의 백향목 같으며
  The mountains were covered with its shade, the mighty cedars with its branches.

11. 그 가지가 바다까지 뻗고 넝쿨이 강까지 미쳤거늘
  It sent out its boughs to the Sea, its shoots as far as the River.

12. 주께서 어찌하여 그 담을 헐으사 길에 지나는 모든 자로 따게 하셨나이까
  Why have you broken down its walls so that all who pass by pick its grapes?

13. 수풀의 돼지가 상해하며 들짐승들이 먹나이다
  Boars from the forest ravage it and the creatures of the field feed on it.

14. 만군의 하나님이여 구하옵나니 돌이키사 하늘에서 굽어보시고 이 포도나무를 권고하소서
  Return to us, O God Almighty! Look down from heaven and see! Watch over this vine,

15. 주의 오른손으로 심으신 줄기요 주를 위하여 힘있게 하신 가지니이다
  the root your right hand has planted, the son you have raised up for yourself.

16. 그것이 소화되고 작벌을 당하며 주의 면책을 인하여 망하오니
  Your vine is cut down, it is burned with fire; at your rebuke your people perish.

17. 주의 우편에 있는 자 곧 주를 위하여 힘있게 하신 인자의 위에 주의 손을 얹으소서
  Let your hand rest on the man at your right hand, the son of man you have raised up for yourself.

18. 그러하면 우리가 주에게서 물러가지 아니하오리니 우리를 소생케 하소서 우리가 주의 이름을 부르리이다
  Then we will not turn away from you; revive us, and we will call on your name.

19. 만군의 하나님 여호와여 우리를 돌이키시고 주의 얼굴 빛을 비취소서 우리가 구원을 얻으리이다
  Restore us, O LORD God Almighty; make your face shine upon us, that we may be saved.

■ 혼자 읽기

이사야 28

1. 취한 자 에브라임의 교만한 면류관이여 화 있을찐저 술에 빠진자의 성 곧 영화로운 관 같이 기름진 골짜기 꼭대기에 세운 성이여 쇠잔해가는 꽃 같으니 화 있을찐저
  Woe to that wreath, the pride of Ephraim's drunkards, to the fading flower, his glorious beauty, set on the head of a fertile valley--to that city, the pride of those laid low by wine!

2. 보라 주께 있는 강하고 힘있는 자가 쏟아지는 우박같이, 파괴하는 광풍같이, 큰 물의 창일함같이 손으로 그 면류관을 땅에 던지리니
  See, the Lord has one who is powerful and strong. Like a hailstorm and a destructive wind, like a driving rain and a flooding downpour, he will throw it forcefully to the ground.

3. 에브라임의 취한 자의 교만한 면류관이 발에 밟힐 것이라
  That wreath, the pride of Ephraim's drunkards, will be trampled underfoot.

4. 그 기름진 골짜기 꼭대기에 있는 그 영화의 쇠잔해 가는 꽃이 여름 전에 처음 익은 무화과와 같으리니 보는 자가 그것을 보고 얼른 따서 먹으리로다
  That fading flower, his glorious beauty, set on the head of a fertile valley, will be like a fig ripe before harvest--as soon as someone sees it and takes it in his hand, he swallows it.

5. 그 날에 만군의 여호와께서 그 남은 백성에게 영화로운 면류관이 되시며 아름다운 화관이 되실 것이라
  In that day the LORD Almighty will be a glorious crown, a beautiful wreath for the remnant of his people.

6. 재판석에 앉은 자에게는 판결하는 신이 되시며 성문에서 싸움을 물리치는 자에게는 힘이 되시리로다마는
  He will be a spirit of justice to him who sits in judgment, a source of strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate.

7. 이 유다 사람들도 포도주로 인하여 옆걸음 치며 독주로 인하여 비틀거리며 제사장과 선지자도 독주로 인하여 옆걸음 치며 포도주에 빠지며 독주로 인하여 비틀거리며 이상을 그릇 풀며 재판할 때에 실수하나니
  And these also stagger from wine and reel from beer: Priests and prophets stagger from beer and are befuddled with wine; they reel from beer, they stagger when seeing visions, they stumble when rendering decisions.

8. 모든 상에는 토한 것, 더러운 것이 가득하고 깨끗한 곳이 없도다
  All the tables are covered with vomit and there is not a spot without filth.

9. 그들이 이르기를 그가 뉘게 지식을 가르치며 뉘게 도를 전하여 깨닫게 하려는가 젖 떨어져 품을 떠난 자들에게 하려는가
  "Who is it he is trying to teach? To whom is he explaining his message? To children weaned from their milk, to those just taken from the breast?

10. 대저 경계에 경계를 더하며 경계에 경계를 더하며 교훈에 교훈을 더하며 교훈에 교훈을 더하되 여기서도 조금, 저기서도 조금 하는구나 하는도다
  For it is: Do and do, do and do, rule on rule, rule on rule; a little here, a little there."

11. 그러므로 생소한 입술과 다른 방언으로 이 백성에게 말씀하시리라
  Very well then, with foreign lips and strange tongues God will speak to this people,

12. 전에 그들에게 이르시기를 이것이 너희 안식이요 이것이 너희 상쾌함이니 너희는 곤비한 자에게 안식을 주라 하셨으나 그들이 듣지 아니하였으므로
  to whom he said, "This is the resting place, let the weary rest"; and, "This is the place of repose"--but they would not listen.

13. 여호와께서 그들에게 말씀하시되 경계에 경계를 더하며 경계에 경계를 더하며 교훈에 교훈을 더하며 교훈에 교훈을 더하고 여기서도 조금, 저기서도 조금 하사 그들로 가다가 뒤로 넘어져 부러지며 걸리며 잡히게 하시리라
  So then, the word of the LORD to them will become: Do and do, do and do, rule on rule, rule on rule; a little here, a little there--so that they will go and fall backward, be injured and snared and captured.

14. 이러므로 예루살렘에 있는 이 백성을 치리하는 너희 경만한 자여 여호와의 말씀을 들을찌어다
  Therefore hear the word of the LORD, you scoffers who rule this people in Jerusalem.

15. 너희 말이 우리는 사망과 언약하였고 음부와 맹약하였은즉 넘치는 재앙이 유행할찌라도 우리에게 미치지 못하리니 우리는 거짓으로 우리 피난처를 삼았고 허위 아래 우리를 숨겼음이라 하는도다
  You boast, "We have entered into a covenant with death, with the grave we have made an agreement. When an overwhelming scourge sweeps by, it cannot touch us, for we have made a lie our refuge and falsehood our hiding place."

16. 그러므로 주 여호와께서 가라사대 보라 내가 한 돌을 시온에 두어 기초를 삼았노니 곧 시험한 돌이요 귀하고 견고한 기초 돌이라 그것을 믿는 자는 급절하게 되지 아니하리로다
  So this is what the Sovereign LORD says: "See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who trusts will never be dismayed.

17. 나는 공평으로 줄을 삼고 의로 추를 삼으니 우박이 거짓의 피난처를 소탕하며 물이 그 숨는 곳에 넘칠 것인즉
  I will make justice the measuring line and righteousness the plumb line; hail will sweep away your refuge, the lie, and water will overflow your hiding place.

18. 너희의 사망으로 더불어 세운 언약이 폐하며 음부로 더불어 맺은 맹약이 서지 못하여 넘치는 재앙이 유행할 때에 너희가 그것에게 밟힘을 당할 것이라
  Your covenant with death will be annulled; your agreement with the grave will not stand. When the overwhelming scourge sweeps by, you will be beaten down by it.

19. 그것이 유행할 때마다 너희를 잡을 것이니 아침마다 유행하고 주야로 유행한즉 그 전하는 도를 깨닫는 것이 오직 두려움이라
  As often as it comes it will carry you away; morning after morning, by day and by night, it will sweep through." The understanding of this message will bring sheer terror.

20. 침상이 짧아서 능히 몸을 펴지 못하며 이불이 좁아서 능히 몸을 싸지 못함 같으리라 하셨나니
  The bed is too short to stretch out on, the blanket too narrow to wrap around you.

21. 대저 여호와께서 브라심 산에서와 같이 일어나시며 기브온 골짜기에서와 같이 진노하사 자기 일을 행하시리니 그 일이 비상할 것이며 자기 공을 이루시리니 그 공이 기이할 것임이라
  The LORD will rise up as he did at Mount Perazim, he will rouse himself as in the Valley of Gibeon--to do his work, his strange work, and perform his task, his alien task.

22. 그러므로 너희는 경만한 자가 되지 말라 너희 결박이 우심할까 하노라 대저 온 땅을 멸망시키기로 작정하신 것을 내가 만군의 주 여호와께로서 들었느니라
  Now stop your mocking, or your chains will become heavier; the Lord, the LORD Almighty, has told me of the destruction decreed against the whole land.

23. 너희는 귀를 기울여 내 목소리를 들으라 자세히 내 말을 들으라
  Listen and hear my voice; pay attention and hear what I say.

24. 파종하려고 가는 자가 어찌 끊이지 않고 갈기만 하겠느냐 그 땅을 개간하며 고르게만 하겠느냐
  When a farmer plows for planting, does he plow continually? Does he keep on breaking up and harrowing the soil?

25. 지면을 이미 평평히 하였으면 소회향을 뿌리며 대회향을 뿌리며 소맥을 줄줄이 심으며 대맥을 정한 곳에 심으며 귀리를 그 가에 심지 않겠느냐
  When he has leveled the surface, does he not sow caraway and scatter cummin? Does he not plant wheat in its place, barley in its plot, and spelt in its field?

26. 이는 그의 하나님이 그에게 적당한 방법으로 보이사 가르치셨음이며
  His God instructs him and teaches him the right way.

27. 소회향은 도리깨로 떨지 아니하며 대회향에는 수레 바퀴를 굴리지 아니하고 소회향은 작대기로 떨고 대회향은 막대기로 떨며
  Caraway is not threshed with a sledge, nor is a cartwheel rolled over cummin; caraway is beaten out with a rod, and cummin with a stick.

28. 곡식은 부수는가, 아니라 늘 떨기만 하지 아니하고 그것에 수레 바퀴를 굴리고 그것을 말굽으로 밟게 할지라도 부수지는 아니하나니
  Grain must be ground to make bread; so one does not go on threshing it forever. Though he drives the wheels of his threshing cart over it, his horses do not grind it.

29. 이도 만군의 여호와께로서 난 것이라 그의 모략은 기묘하며 지혜는 광대하니라
  All this also comes from the LORD Almighty, wonderful in counsel and magnificent in wisdom.

요한이서 1

1. 장로는 택하심을 입은 부녀와 그의 자녀에게 편지하노니 내가 참으로 사랑하는 자요 나뿐 아니라 진리를 아는 모든 자도 그리하는 것은
  The elder, To the chosen lady and her children, whom I love in the truth--and not I only, but also all who know the truth--

2. 우리 안에 거하여 영원히 우리와 함께 할 진리를 인함이로다
  because of the truth, which lives in us and will be with us forever:

3. 은혜와 긍휼과 평강이 하나님 아버지와 아버지의 아들 예수 그리스도께로부터 진리와 사랑 가운데서 우리와 함께 있으리라
  Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Father's Son, will be with us in truth and love.

4. 너의 자녀 중에 우리가 아버지께 받은 계명대로 진리에 행하는 자를 내가 보니 심히 기쁘도다
  It has given me great joy to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as the Father commanded us.

5. 부녀여, 내가 이제 네게 구하노니 서로 사랑하자 이는 새 계명같이 네게 쓰는 것이 아니요 오직 처음부터 우리가 가진 것이라
  And now, dear lady, I am not writing you a new command but one we have had from the beginning. I ask that we love one another.

6. 또 사랑은 이것이니 우리가 그 계명을 좇아 행하는 것이요 계명은 이것이니 너희가 처음부터 들은 바와 같이 그 가운데서 행하라 하심이라
  And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.

7. 미혹하는 자가 많이 세상에 나왔나니 이는 예수 그리스도께서 육체로 임하심을 부인하는 자라 이것이 미혹하는 자요 적그리스도니
  Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist.

8. 너희는 너희를 삼가 우리의 일한 것을 잃지 말고 오직 온전한 상을 얻으라
  Watch out that you do not lose what you have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully.

9. 지내쳐 그리스도 교훈 안에 거하지 아니하는 자마다 하나님을 모시지 못하되 교훈 안에 거하는 이 사람이 아버지와 아들을 모시느니라
  Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.

10. 누구든지 이 교훈을 가지지 않고 너희에게 나아가거든 그를 집에 들이지도 말고 인사도 말라
  If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take him into your house or welcome him.

11. 그에게 인사하는 자는 그 악한 일에 참예하는 자임이니라
  Anyone who welcomes him shares in his wicked work.

12. 내가 너희에게 쓸 것이 많으나 종이와 먹으로 쓰기를 원치 아니하고 오히려 너희에게 가서 면대하여 말하려 하니 이는 너희 기쁨을 충만케 하려 함이라
  I have much to write to you, but I do not want to use paper and ink. Instead, I hope to visit you and talk with you face to face, so that our joy may be complete.

13. 택하심을 입은 네 자매의 자녀가 네게 문안하느니라
  The children of your chosen sister send their greetings.
