신명기 2

1. 우리가 회정하여 여호와께서 내게 명하신 대로 홍해 길로 광야에 들어가서 여러 날 동안 세일 산을 두루 행하더니
  Then we turned back and set out toward the desert along the route to the Red Sea, as the LORD had directed me. For a long time we made our way around the hill country of Seir.

2. 여호와께서 내게 고하여 이르시되
  Then the LORD said to me,

3. 너희가 이 산을 두루 행한 지 오래니 돌이켜 북으로 나아가라
  "You have made your way around this hill country long enough; now turn north.

4. 너는 또 백성에게 명하여 이르기를 너희는 세일에 거하는 너희 동족 에서의 자손의 지경으로 지날찐대 그들이 너희를 두려워하리니 너희는 깊이 스스로 삼가고
  Give the people these orders: 'You are about to pass through the territory of your brothers the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir. They will be afraid of you, but be very careful.

5. 그들과 다투지 말라 그들의 땅은 한 발자국도 너희에게 주지 아니하리니 이는 내가 세일 산을 에서에게 기업으로 주었음이로라
  Do not provoke them to war, for I will not give you any of their land, not even enough to put your foot on. I have given Esau the hill country of Seir as his own.

6. 너희는 돈으로 그들에게서 양식을 사서 먹으며 돈으로 그들에게서 물을 사서 마시라
  You are to pay them in silver for the food you eat and the water you drink.'"

7. 네 하나님 여호와가 너의 하는 모든 일에 네게 복을 주고 네가 이 큰 광야에 두루 행함을 알고 네 하나님 여호와가 이 사십 년 동안을 너와 함께 하였으므로 네게 부족함이 없었느니라 하셨다 하라 하시기로
  The LORD your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He has watched over your journey through this vast desert. These forty years the LORD your God has been with you, and you have not lacked anything.

8. 우리가 세일 산에 거하는 우리 동족 에서의 자손을 떠나서 아라바를 지나며 엘랏과 에시온 게벨 곁으로 지나 행하고 돌이켜 모압 광야 길로 진행할 때에
  So we went on past our brothers the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir. We turned from the Arabah road, which comes up from Elath and Ezion Geber, and traveled along the desert road of Moab.

9. 여호와께서 내게 이르시되 모압을 괴롭게 말라 그와 싸우지도 말라 그 땅을 내가 네게 기업으로 주지 아니하리니 이는 내가 롯 자손에게 아르를 기업으로 주었음이로라
  Then the LORD said to me, "Do not harass the Moabites or provoke them to war, for I will not give you any part of their land. I have given Ar to the descendants of Lot as a possession."

10. (옛적에 엠 사람이 거기 거하여 강하고 많고 아낙 족속과 같이 키가 크므로
  (The Emites used to live there--a people strong and numerous, and as tall as the Anakites.

11. 그들을 아낙 족속과 같이 르바임이라 칭하였으나 모압 사람은 그들을 에밈이라 칭하였으며
  Like the Anakites, they too were considered Rephaites, but the Moabites called them Emites.

12. 호리 사람도 세일에 거하였더니 에서의 자손이 그들을 멸하고 대신하여 그 땅에 거하였으니 이스라엘이 여호와의 주신 기업의 땅에서 행한 것과 일반이었느니라)
  Horites used to live in Seir, but the descendants of Esau drove them out. They destroyed the Horites from before them and settled in their place, just as Israel did in the land the LORD gave them as their possession.)

13. 이제 너희는 일어나서 세렛 시내를 건너가라 하시기로 우리가 세렛 시내를 건넜으니
  And the LORD said, "Now get up and cross the Zered Valley." So we crossed the valley.

14. 가데스 바네아에서 떠나 세렛 시내를 건너기까지 삼십팔 년 동안이라 이 때에는 그 시대의 모든 군인들이 여호와께서 그들에게 맹세하신 대로 진중에서 다 멸절되었나니
  Thirty-eight years passed from the time we left Kadesh Barnea until we crossed the Zered Valley. By then, that entire generation of fighting men had perished from the camp, as the LORD had sworn to them.

15. 여호와께서 손으로 그들을 치사 진중에서 멸하신 고로 필경은 다 멸절되었느니라
  The LORD'S hand was against them until he had completely eliminated them from the camp.

16. 모든 군인이 사망하여 백성 중에서 진멸된 후에
  Now when the last of these fighting men among the people had died,

17. 여호와께서 내게 일러 가라사대
  the LORD said to me,

18. 네가 오늘 모압 변경 아르를 지나리니
  "Today you are to pass by the region of Moab at Ar.

19. 암몬 족속에게 가까이 이르거든 그들을 괴롭게 말라 그들과 다투지도 말라 암몬 족속의 땅은 내가 네게 기업으로 주지 아니하리니 이는 내가 그것을 롯 자손에게 기업으로 주었음이로라
  When you come to the Ammonites, do not harass them or provoke them to war, for I will not give you possession of any land belonging to the Ammonites. I have given it as a possession to the descendants of Lot."

20. (이 곳도 르바임의 땅이라 하였었나니 전에 르바임이 거기 거하였었음이요 암몬 족속은 그들을 삼숨밈이라 일컬었었으며
  (That too was considered a land of the Rephaites, who used to live there; but the Ammonites called them Zamzummites.

21. 그 백성은 강하고 많고 아낙 족속과 같이 키가 크나 여호와께서 암몬 족속 앞에서 그들을 멸하셨으므로 암몬 족속이 대신하여 그 땅에 거하였으니
  They were a people strong and numerous, and as tall as the Anakites. The LORD destroyed them from before the Ammonites, who drove them out and settled in their place.

22. 마치 세일에 거한 에서 자손 앞에 호리 사람을 멸하심과 일반이라 그들이 호리 사람을 쫓아내고 대신하여 오늘까지 거기 거하였으며
  The LORD had done the same for the descendants of Esau, who lived in Seir, when he destroyed the Horites from before them. They drove them out and have lived in their place to this day.

23. 또 갑돌에서 나온 갑돌 사람이 가사까지 각 촌에 거하는 아위 사람을 멸하고 그들을 대신하여 거기 거하였었느니라)
  And as for the Avvites who lived in villages as far as Gaza, the Caphtorites coming out from Caphtor destroyed them and settled in their place.)

24. 너희는 일어나 진행하여 아르논 골짜기를 건너라 내가 헤스본 왕 아모리 사람 시혼과 그 땅을 네 손에 붙였은즉 비로소 더불어 싸워서 그 땅을 얻으라
  "Set out now and cross the Arnon Gorge. See, I have given into your hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his country. Begin to take possession of it and engage him in battle.

25. 오늘부터 내가 천하 만민으로 너를 무서워하며 너를 두려워하게 하리니 그들이 네 명성을 듣고 떨며 너로 인하여 근심하리라 하셨느니라
  This very day I will begin to put the terror and fear of you on all the nations under heaven. They will hear reports of you and will tremble and be in anguish because of you."

26. 내가 그데못 광야에서 헤스본 왕 시혼에게 사자를 보내어 평화의 말로 이르기를
  From the desert of Kedemoth I sent messengers to Sihon king of Heshbon offering peace and saying,

27. 나를 네 땅으로 통과하게 하라 내가 대로로만 행하고 좌로나 우로나 치우치지 아니하리라
  "Let us pass through your country. We will stay on the main road; we will not turn aside to the right or to the left.

28. 너는 돈을 받고 양식을 팔아 나로 먹게 하고 돈을 받고 물을 주어 나로 마시게 하라 나는 도보로 지날 뿐인즉
  Sell us food to eat and water to drink for their price in silver. Only let us pass through on foot--

29. 세일에 거하는 에서 자손과 아르에 거하는 모압 사람이 내게 행한 것같이 하라 그리하면 내가 요단을 건너서 우리 하나님 여호와께서 우리에게 주시는 땅에 이르리라 하나
  as the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir, and the Moabites, who live in Ar, did for us--until we cross the Jordan into the land the LORD our God is giving us."

30. 헤스본 왕 시혼이 우리의 통과하기를 허락지 아니하였으니 이는 너의 하나님 여호와께서 그를 네 손에 붙이시려고 그 성품을 완강케 하셨고 그 마음을 강퍅케 하셨음이라 오늘날과 같으니라
  But Sihon king of Heshbon refused to let us pass through. For the LORD your God had made his spirit stubborn and his heart obstinate in order to give him into your hands, as he has now done.

31. 때에 여호와께서 내게 이르시되 내가 비로소 시혼과 그 땅을 네게 붙이노니 너는 이제부터 그 땅을 얻어서 기업을 삼으라 하시더니
  The LORD said to me, "See, I have begun to deliver Sihon and his country over to you. Now begin to conquer and possess his land."

32. 시혼이 그 모든 백성을 거느리고 나와서 우리를 대적하여 야하스에서 싸울 때에
  When Sihon and all his army came out to meet us in battle at Jahaz,

33. 우리 하나님 여호와께서 그를 우리에게 붙이시매 우리가 그와 그 아들들과 그 모든 백성을 쳤고
  the LORD our God delivered him over to us and we struck him down, together with his sons and his whole army.

34. 그 때에 우리가 그 모든 성읍을 취하고 그 각 성읍을 그 남녀와 유아와 함께 하나도 남기지 아니하고 진멸하였고
  At that time we took all his towns and completely destroyed them--men, women and children. We left no survivors.

35. 오직 그 육축과 성읍에서 탈취한 것은 우리의 소유로 삼았으며
  But the livestock and the plunder from the towns we had captured we carried off for ourselves.

36. 우리 하나님 여호와께서 그 모든 땅을 우리에게 붙이심으로 아르논 골짜기 가에 있는 아로엘과 골짜기 가운데 있는 성읍으로부터 길르앗에까지 우리가 모든 높은 성읍을 취하지 못한 것이 하나도 없었으나
  From Aroer on the rim of the Arnon Gorge, and from the town in the gorge, even as far as Gilead, not one town was too strong for us. The LORD our God gave us all of them.

37. 오직 암몬 족속의 땅 얍복 강가와 산지에 있는 성읍들과 무릇 우리 하나님 여호와께서 우리의 가기를 금하신 곳은 네가 가까이 하지 못하였느니라
  But in accordance with the command of the LORD our God, you did not encroach on any of the land of the Ammonites, neither the land along the course of the Jabbok nor that around the towns in the hills.

시편 83-84

1. 하나님이여 침묵치 마소서 하나님이여 잠잠치 말고 고요치 마소서
  A song. A psalm of Asaph. O God, do not keep silent; be not quiet, O God, be not still.

2. 대저 주의 원수가 훤화하며 주를 한하는 자가 머리를 들었나이다
  See how your enemies are astir, how your foes rear their heads.

3. 저희가 주의 백성을 치려 하여 간계를 꾀하며 주의 숨긴 자를 치려고 서로 의논하여
  With cunning they conspire against your people; they plot against those you cherish.

4. 말하기를 가서 저희를 끊어 다시 나라가 되지 못하게 하여 이스라엘의 이름으로 다시는 기억되지 못하게 하자 하나이다
  "Come," they say, "let us destroy them as a nation, that the name of Israel be remembered no more."

5. 저희가 일심으로 의논하고 주를 대적하여 서로 언약하니
  With one mind they plot together; they form an alliance against you--

6. 곧 에돔의 장막과 이스마엘인과 모압과 하갈인이며
  the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, of Moab and the Hagrites,

7. 그발과 암몬과 아말렉이며 블레셋과 두로 거민이요
  Gebal, Ammon and Amalek, Philistia, with the people of Tyre.

8. 앗수르도 저희와 연합하여 롯 자손의 도움이 되었나이다 (셀라)
  Even Assyria has joined them to lend strength to the descendants of Lot. Selah

9. 주는 미디안인에게 행하신 것같이, 기손 시내에서 시스라와 야빈에게 행하신 것같이 저희에게도 행하소서
  Do to them as you did to Midian, as you did to Sisera and Jabin at the river Kishon,

10. 그들은 엔돌에서 패망하여 땅에 거름이 되었나이다
  who perished at Endor and became like refuse on the ground.

11. 저희 귀인으로 오렙과 스엡 같게 하시며 저희 모든 방백으로 세바와 살문나와 같게 하소서
  Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,

12. 저희가 말하기를 우리가 하나님의 목장을 우리의 소유로 취하자 하였나이다
  who said, "Let us take possession of the pasturelands of God."

13. 나의 하나님이여 저희로 굴러가는 검불 같게 하시며 바람에 날리는 초개 같게 하소서
  Make them like tumbleweed, O my God, like chaff before the wind.

14. 삼림을 사르는 불과 산에 붙는 화염같이
  As fire consumes the forest or a flame sets the mountains ablaze,

15. 주의 광풍으로 저희를 쫓으시며 주의 폭풍으로 저희를 두렵게 하소서
  so pursue them with your tempest and terrify them with your storm.

16. 여호와여 수치로 저희 얼굴에 가득케 하사 저희로 주의 이름을 찾게 하소서
  Cover their faces with shame so that men will seek your name, O LORD.

17. 저희로 수치를 당하여 영원히 놀라게 하시며 낭패와 멸망을 당케 하사
  May they ever be ashamed and dismayed; may they perish in disgrace.

18. 여호와라 이름하신 주만 온 세계의 지존자로 알게 하소서
  Let them know that you, whose name is the LORD--that you alone are the Most High over all the earth.

1. 만군의 여호와여 주의 장막이 어찌 그리 사랑스러운지요
  For the director of music. According to gittith. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm. How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD Almighty!

2. 내 영혼이 여호와의 궁정을 사모하여 쇠약함이여 내 마음과 육체가 생존하시는 하나님께 부르짖나이다
  My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

3. 나의 왕, 나의 하나님, 만군의 여호와여 주의 제단에서 참새도 제 집을 얻고 제비도 새끼 둘 보금자리를 얻었나이다
  Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young--a place near your altar, O LORD Almighty, my King and my God.

4. 주의 집에 거하는 자가 복이 있나이다 저희가 항상 주를 찬송하리이다 (셀라)
  Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you. Selah

5. 주께 힘을 얻고 그 마음에 시온의 대로가 있는 자는 복이 있나이다
  Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage.

6. 저희는 눈물 골짜기로 통행할 때에 그 곳으로 많은 샘의 곳이 되게 하며 이른 비도 은택을 입히나이다
  As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools.

7. 저희는 힘을 얻고 더 얻어 나아가 시온에서 하나님 앞에 각기 나타나리이다
  They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion.

8. 만군의 하나님 여호와여 내 기도를 들으소서 야곱의 하나님이여 귀를 기울이소서 (셀라)
  Hear my prayer, O LORD God Almighty; listen to me, O God of Jacob. Selah

9. 우리 방패이신 하나님이여 주의 기름 부으신 자의 얼굴을 살펴보옵소서
  Look upon our shield, O God; look with favor on your anointed one.

10. 주의 궁정에서 한 날이 다른 곳에서 천 날보다 나은즉 악인의 장막에 거함보다 내 하나님 문지기로 있는 것이 좋사오니
  Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.

11. 여호와 하나님은 해요 방패시라 여호와께서 은혜와 영화를 주시며 정직히 행하는 자에게 좋은 것을 아끼지 아니하실 것임이니이다
  For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.

12. 만군의 여호와여 주께 의지하는 자는 복이 있나이다
  O LORD Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in you.

이사야 30

1. 여호와께서 가라사대 화 있을찐저 패역한 자식들이여 그들이 계교를 베푸나 나로 말미암아 하지 아니하며 맹약을 맺으나 나의 신으로 말미암아 하지 아니하였음이로다 그들이 바로의 세력 안에서 스스로 강하려 하며 애굽의 그늘에 피하려 하여 애굽으로 내려갔으되 나의 입에 묻지 아니하였으니 죄에 죄를 더하도다
  "Woe to the obstinate children," declares the LORD, "to those who carry out plans that are not mine, forming an alliance, but not by my Spirit, heaping sin upon sin;

2. 1절과 같음
  who go down to Egypt without consulting me; who look for help to Pharaoh's protection, to Egypt's shade for refuge.

3. 그러므로 바로의 세력이 너희의 수치가 되며 애굽의 그늘에 피함이 너희의 수욕이 될 것이라
  But Pharaoh's protection will be to your shame, Egypt's shade will bring you disgrace.

4. 그 방백들이 소안에 있고 그 사신들이 하네스에 이르렀으나
  Though they have officials in Zoan and their envoys have arrived in Hanes,

5. 그들이 다 자기를 유익하게 못하는 민족을 인하여 수치를 당하리니 그 민족이 돕지도 못하며 유익하게도 못하고 수치가 되게 하며 수욕이 되게 할 뿐임이니라
  everyone will be put to shame because of a people useless to them, who bring neither help nor advantage, but only shame and disgrace."

6. 남방 짐승에 관한 경고라 사신들이 그 재물을 어린 나귀 등에 싣고 그 보물을 약대 제물 안장에 얹고 암사자와 수사자와 독사와 및 날아다니는 불뱀이 나오는 위험하고 곤고한 땅을 지나 자기에게 무익한 민족에게로 갔으나
  An oracle concerning the animals of the Negev: Through a land of hardship and distress, of lions and lionesses, of adders and darting snakes, the envoys carry their riches on donkeys' backs, their treasures on the humps of camels, to that unprofitable nation,

7. 애굽의 도움이 헛되고 무익하니라 그러므로 내가 애굽을 가만히 앉은 라합이라 일컬었느니라
  to Egypt, whose help is utterly useless. Therefore I call her Rahab the Do-Nothing.

8. 이제 가서 백성 앞에서 서판에 기록하며 책에 써서 후세에 영영히 있게 하라
  Go now, write it on a tablet for them, inscribe it on a scroll, that for the days to come it may be an everlasting witness.

9. 대저 이는 패역한 백성이요 거짓말 하는 자식이요 여호와의 법을 듣기 싫어하는 자식이라
  These are rebellious people, deceitful children, children unwilling to listen to the LORD'S instruction.

10. 그들이 선견자에게 이르기를 선견하지 말라 선지자에게 이르기를 우리에게 정직한 것을 보이지 말라 부드러운 말을 하라 거짓된 것을 보이라
  They say to the seers, "See no more visions!" and to the prophets, "Give us no more visions of what is right! Tell us pleasant things, prophesy illusions.

11. 너희는 정로를 버리며 첩경에서 돌이키라 이스라엘의 거룩하신 자로 우리 앞에서 떠나시게 하라 하는도다
  Leave this way, get off this path, and stop confronting us with the Holy One of Israel!"

12. 이러므로 이스라엘의 거룩하신 자가 말씀하시되 너희가 이 말을 업신여기고 압박과 허망을 믿어 그것에 의뢰하니
  Therefore, this is what the Holy One of Israel says: "Because you have rejected this message, relied on oppression and depended on deceit,

13. 이 죄악이 너희로 마치 무너지게 된 높은 담이 불쑥 나와 경각간에 홀연히 무너짐 같게 하리라 하셨은즉
  this sin will become for you like a high wall, cracked and bulging, that collapses suddenly, in an instant.

14. 그가 이 나라를 훼파하시되 토기장이가 그릇을 훼파함같이 아낌이 없이 파쇄하시리니 그 조각 중에서, 아궁이에서 불을 취하거나 물웅덩이에서 물을 뜰 것도 얻지 못하리라
  It will break in pieces like pottery, shattered so mercilessly that among its pieces not a fragment will be found for taking coals from a hearth or scooping water out of a cistern."

15. 주 여호와 이스라엘의 거룩하신 자가 말씀하시되 너희가 돌이켜 안연히 처하여야 구원을 얻을 것이요 잠잠하고 신뢰하여야 힘을 얻을 것이어늘 너희가 원치 아니하고
  This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: "In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it.

16. 이르기를 아니라 우리가 말 타고 도망하리라 한 고로 너희가 도망할 것이요 또 이르기를 우리가 빠른 짐승을 타리라 한 고로 너희를 쫓는 자가 빠르리니
  You said, 'No, we will flee on horses.' Therefore you will flee! You said, 'We will ride off on swift horses.' Therefore your pursuers will be swift!

17. 한 사람이 꾸짖은즉 천 사람이 도망하겠고 다섯이 꾸짖은즉 너희가 다 도망하고 너희 남은 자는 겨우 산꼭대기의 깃대 같겠고 영 위의 기호 같으리라 하셨느니라
  A thousand will flee at the threat of one; at the threat of five you will all flee away, till you are left like a flagstaff on a mountaintop, like a banner on a hill."

18. 그러나 여호와께서 기다리시나니 이는 너희에게 은혜를 베풀려 하심이요 일어나시리니 이는 너희를 긍휼히 여기려 하심이라 대저 여호와는 공의의 하나님이심이라 무릇 그를 기다리는 자는 복이 있도다
  Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!

19. 시온에 거하며 예루살렘에 거하는 백성아 너는 다시 통곡하지 않을 것이라 그가 너의 부르짖는 소리를 인하여 네게 은혜를 베푸시되 들으실 때에 네게 응답하시리라
  O people of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you.

20. 주께서 너희에게 환난의 떡과 고생의 물을 주시나 네 스승은 다시 숨기지 아니하시리니 네 눈이 네 스승을 볼 것이며
  Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them.

21. 너희가 우편으로 치우치든지 좌편으로 치우치든지 네 뒤에서 말소리가 네 귀에 들려 이르기를 이것이 정로니 너희는 이리로 행하라 할 것이며
  Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in it."

22. 또 너희가 너희 조각한 우상에 입힌 은과 부어 만든 우상에 올린 금을 더럽게 하여 불결한 물건을 던짐같이 던지며 이르기를 나가라 하리라
  Then you will defile your idols overlaid with silver and your images covered with gold; you will throw them away like a menstrual cloth and say to them, "Away with you!"

23. 네가 땅에 뿌린 종자에 주께서 비를 주사 땅 소산의 곡식으로 살찌고 풍성케 하실 것이며 그 날에 너의 가축이 광활한 목장에서 먹을 것이요
  He will also send you rain for the seed you sow in the ground, and the food that comes from the land will be rich and plentiful. In that day your cattle will graze in broad meadows.

24. 밭 가는 소와 어린 나귀도 키와 육지창으로 까부르고 맛있게 한 먹이를 먹을 것이며
  The oxen and donkeys that work the soil will eat fodder and mash, spread out with fork and shovel.

25. 크게 살륙하는 날 망대가 무너질 때에 각 고산, 각 준령에 개울과 시냇물이 흐를 것이며
  In the day of great slaughter, when the towers fall, streams of water will flow on every high mountain and every lofty hill.

26. 여호와께서 그 백성의 상처를 싸매시며 그들의 맞은 자리를 고치시는 날에는 달빛은 햇빛 같겠고 햇빛은 칠 배가 되어 일곱 날의 빛과 같으리라
  The moon will shine like the sun, and the sunlight will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven full days, when the LORD binds up the bruises of his people and heals the wounds he inflicted.

27. 보라 여호와의 이름이 원방에서부터 오되 그의 진노가 불붙듯 하며 빽빽한 연기가 일어나듯 하며 그 입술에는 분노가 찼으며 그 혀는 맹렬한 불 같으며
  See, the Name of the LORD comes from afar, with burning anger and dense clouds of smoke; his lips are full of wrath, and his tongue is a consuming fire.

28. 그 호흡은 마치 창일하여 목에까지 미치는 하수 같은즉 그가 멸하는 키로 열방을 까부르며 미혹되게 하는 자갈을 여러 민족의 입에 먹이시리니
  His breath is like a rushing torrent, rising up to the neck. He shakes the nations in the sieve of destruction; he places in the jaws of the peoples a bit that leads them astray.

29. 너희가 거룩한 절기를 지키는 밤에와 같이 노래할 것이며 저를 불며 여호와의 산으로 가서 이스라엘의 반석에게로 나아가는 자같이 마음에 즐거워할 것이라
  And you will sing as on the night you celebrate a holy festival; your hearts will rejoice as when people go up with flutes to the mountain of the LORD, to the Rock of Israel.

30. 여호와께서 그 장엄한 목소리를 듣게 하시며 혁혁한 진노로 그 팔의 치심을 보이시되 맹렬한 화염과 폭풍과 폭우와 우박으로 하시리니
  The LORD will cause men to hear his majestic voice and will make them see his arm coming down with raging anger and consuming fire, with cloudburst, thunderstorm and hail.

31. 여호와의 목소리에 앗수르가 낙담할 것이며 주께서는 막대기로 치실 것인데
  The voice of the LORD will shatter Assyria; with his scepter he will strike them down.

32. 여호와께서 예정하신 몽둥이를 앗수르 위에 더하실 때마다 소고를 치며 수금을 탈 것이며 그는 전쟁 때에 팔을 들어 그들을 치시리라
  Every stroke the LORD lays on them with his punishing rod will be to the music of tambourines and harps, as he fights them in battle with the blows of his arm.

33. 대저 도벳은 이미 설립되었고 또 왕을 위하여 예비된 것이라 깊고 넓게 하였고 거기 불과 많은 나무가 있은즉 여호와의 호흡이 유황 개천 같아서 이를 사르시리라
  Topheth has long been prepared; it has been made ready for the king. Its fire pit has been made deep and wide, with an abundance of fire and wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of burning sulfur, sets it ablaze.

유다서 1

1. 예수 그리스도의 종이요 야고보의 형제인 유다는 부르심을 입은 자 곧 하나님 아버지 안에서 사랑을 얻고 예수 그리스도를 위하여 지키심을 입은 자들에게 편지하노라
  Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and a brother of James, To those who have been called, who are loved by God the Father and kept by Jesus Christ:

2. 긍휼과 평강과 사랑이 너희에게 더욱 많을찌어다
  Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance.

3. 사랑하는 자들아 내가 우리의 일반으로 얻은 구원을 들어 너희에게 편지하려는 뜻이 간절하던 차에 성도에게 단번에 주신 믿음의 도를 위하여 힘써 싸우라는 편지로 너희를 권하여야 할 필요를 느꼈노니
  Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt I had to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints.

4. 이는 가만히 들어온 사람 몇이 있음이라 저희는 옛적부터 이 판결을 받기로 미리 기록된 자니 경건치 아니하여 우리 하나님의 은혜를 도리어 색욕거리로 바꾸고 홀로 하나이신 주재 곧 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 부인하는 자니라
  For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.

5. 너희가 본래 범사를 알았으나 내가 너희로 다시 생각나게 하고자 하노라 주께서 백성을 애굽에서 구원하여 내시고 후에 믿지 아니하는 자들을 멸하셨으며
  Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe.

6. 또 자기 지위를 지키지 아니하고 자기 처소를 떠난 천사들을 큰 날의 심판까지 영원한 결박으로 흑암에 가두셨으며
  And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their own home--these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day.

7. 소돔과 고모라와 그 이웃 도시들도 저희와 같은 모양으로 간음을 행하며 다른 색을 따라가다가 영원한 불의 형벌을 받음으로 거울이 되었느니라
  In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.

8. 그러한데 꿈꾸는 이 사람들도 그와 같이 육체를 더럽히며 권위를 업신여기며 영광을 훼방하는도다
  In the very same way, these dreamers pollute their own bodies, reject authority and slander celestial beings.

9. 천사장 미가엘이 모세의 시체에 대하여 마귀와 다투어 변론할 때에 감히 훼방하는 판결을 쓰지 못하고 다만 말하되 주께서 너를 꾸짖으시기를 원하노라 하였거늘
  But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!"

10. 이 사람들은 무엇이든지 그 알지 못하는 것을 훼방하는도다 또 저희는 이성 없는 짐승같이 본능으로 아는 그것으로 멸망하느니라
  Yet these men speak abusively against whatever they do not understand; and what things they do understand by instinct, like unreasoning animals--these are the very things that destroy them.

11. 화 있을찐저 이 사람들이여, 가인의 길에 행하였으며 삯을 위하여 발람의 어그러진 길로 몰려 갔으며 고라의 패역을 좇아 멸망을 받았도다
  Woe to them! They have taken the way of Cain; they have rushed for profit into Balaam's error; they have been destroyed in Korah's rebellion.

12. 저희는 기탄 없이 너희와 함께 먹으니 너의 애찬의 암초요 자기 몸만 기르는 목자요 바람에 불려가는 물 없는 구름이요 죽고 또 죽어 뿌리까지 뽑힌 열매 없는 가을 나무요
  These men are blemishes at your love feasts, eating with you without the slightest qualm--shepherds who feed only themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted--twice dead.

13. 자기의 수치의 거품을 뿜는 바다의 거친 물결이요 영원히 예비된 캄캄한 흑암에 돌아갈 유리하는 별들이라
  They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever.

14. 아담의 칠 세 손 에녹이 사람들에게 대하여도 예언하여 이르되 보라 주께서 그 수만의 거룩한 자와 함께 임하셨나니
  Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men: "See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones

15. 이는 뭇 사람을 심판하사 모든 경건치 않은 자의 경건치 않게 행한 모든 경건치 않은 일과 또 경건치 않은 죄인의 주께 거스려 한 모든 강퍅한 말을 인하여 저희를 정죄하려 하심이라 하였느니라
  to judge everyone, and to convict all the ungodly of all the ungodly acts they have done in the ungodly way, and of all the harsh words ungodly sinners have spoken against him."

16. 이 사람들은 원망하는 자며 불만을 토하는 자며 그 정욕대로 행하는 자라 그 입으로 자랑하는 말을 내며 이를 위하여 아첨하느니라
  These men are grumblers and faultfinders; they follow their own evil desires; they boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage.

17. 사랑하는 자들아 너희는 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 사도들의 미리 한 말을 기억하라
  But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold.

18. 그들이 너희에게 말하기를 마지막 때에 자기의 경건치 않은 정욕대로 행하며 기롱하는 자들이 있으리라 하였나니
  They said to you, "In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires."

19. 이 사람들은 당을 짓는 자며 육에 속한 자며 성령은 없는 자니라
  These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.

20. 사랑하는 자들아 너희는 너희의 지극히 거룩한 믿음 위에 자기를 건축하며 성령으로 기도하며
  But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit.

21. 하나님의 사랑 안에서 자기를 지키며 영생에 이르도록 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 긍휼을 기다리라
  Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.

22. 어떤 의심하는 자들을 긍휼히 여기라
  Be merciful to those who doubt;

23. 또 어떤 자를 불에서 끌어내어 구원하라 또 어떤 자를 그 육체로 더럽힌 옷이라도 싫어하여 두려움으로 긍휼히 여기라
  snatch others from the fire and save them; to others show mercy, mixed with fear--hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.

24. 능히 너희를 보호하사 거침이 없게 하시고 너희로 그 영광 앞에 흠이 없이 즐거움으로 서게 하실 자
  To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy--

25. 곧 우리 구주 홀로 하나이신 하나님께 우리 주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 영광과 위엄과 권력과 권세가 만고 전부터 이제와 세세에 있을찌어다 아멘
  to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.
