민수기 28

1. 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
  The LORD said to Moses,

2. 이스라엘 자손에게 명하여 그들에게 이르라 나의 예물, 나의 식물 되는 화제, 나의 향기로운 것은 너희가 그 정한 시기에 삼가 내게 드릴찌니라
  "Give this command to the Israelites and say to them: 'See that you present to me at the appointed time the food for my offerings made by fire, as an aroma pleasing to me.'

3. 또 그들에게 이르라 너희가 여호와께 드릴 화제는 이러하니 일년 되고 흠 없는 수양을 매일 둘씩 상번제로 드리되
  Say to them: 'This is the offering made by fire that you are to present to the LORD: two lambs a year old without defect, as a regular burnt offering each day.

4. 한 어린 양은 아침에 드리고 한 어린 양은 해질 때에 드릴 것이요
  Prepare one lamb in the morning and the other at twilight,

5. 또 고운 가루 에바 십분지 일에 빻아낸 기름 힌 사분지 일을 섞어서 소제로 드릴 것이니
  together with a grain offering of a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a quarter of a hin of oil from pressed olives.

6. 이는 시내 산에서 정한 상번제로서 여호와께 드리는 향기로운 화제며
  This is the regular burnt offering instituted at Mount Sinai as a pleasing aroma, an offering made to the LORD by fire.

7. 또 그 전제는 어린 양 하나에 힌 사분지 일을 드리되 거룩한 곳에서 여호와께 독주의 전제를 부어 드릴 것이며
  The accompanying drink offering is to be a quarter of a hin of fermented drink with each lamb. Pour out the drink offering to the LORD at the sanctuary.

8. 해질 때에는 그 한 어린 양을 드리되 그 소제와 전제를 아침 것같이 여호와께 향기로운 화제로 드릴 것이니라
  Prepare the second lamb at twilight, along with the same kind of grain offering and drink offering that you prepare in the morning. This is an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.

9. 안식일에는 일년 되고 흠 없는 수양 둘과 고운 가루 에바 십분지 이에 기름 섞은 소제와 그 전제를 드릴 것이니
  "'On the Sabbath day, make an offering of two lambs a year old without defect, together with its drink offering and a grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil.

10. 이는 매안식일의 번제라 상번제와 그 전제 외에니라
  This is the burnt offering for every Sabbath, in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering.

11. 월삭에는 수송아지 둘과 수양 하나와 일년 되고 흠 없는 수양 일곱으로 여호와께 번제를 드리되
  "'On the first of every month, present to the LORD a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old, all without defect.

12. 매 수송아지에는 고운 가루 에바 십분지 삼에 기름 섞은 소제와 수양 하나에는 고운 가루 에바 십분지 이에 기름 섞은 소제와
  With each bull there is to be a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil; with the ram, a grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil;

13. 매어린 양에는 고운 가루 에바 십분지 일에 기름 섞은 소제를 향기로운 번제로 여호와께 화제를 드릴 것이며
  and with each lamb, a grain offering of a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil. This is for a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma, an offering made to the LORD by fire.

14. 그 전제는 수송아지 하나에 포도주 반 힌이요 수양 하나에 삼분지 일 힌이요 어린 양 하나에 사분지 일 힌이니 이는 일년중 매 월삭의 번제며
  With each bull there is to be a drink offering of half a hin of wine; with the ram, a third of a hin; and with each lamb, a quarter of a hin. This is the monthly burnt offering to be made at each new moon during the year.

15. 또 상번제와 그 전제 외에 수염소 하나를 속죄제로 여호와께 드릴 것이니라
  Besides the regular burnt offering with its drink offering, one male goat is to be presented to the LORD as a sin offering.

16. 정월 십사일은 여호와의 유월절이며
  "'On the fourteenth day of the first month the LORD'S Passover is to be held.

17. 또 그 달 십오일부터는 절일이니 칠 일 동안 무교병을 먹을 것이며
  On the fifteenth day of this month there is to be a festival; for seven days eat bread made without yeast.

18. 그 첫날에는 성회로 모일 것이요 아무 노동도 하지 말 것이며
  On the first day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.

19. 수송아지 둘과 수양 하나와 일년 된 수양 일곱을 다 흠 없는 것으로 여호와께 화제를 드려 번제가 되게 할 것이며
  Present to the LORD an offering made by fire, a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old, all without defect.

20. 그 소제로는 고운 가루에 기름을 섞어서 쓰되 수송아지 하나에는 에바 십분지 삼이요 수양 하나에는 에바 십분지 이를 드리고
  With each bull prepare a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil; with the ram, two-tenths;

21. 어린 양 일곱에는 매 어린 양에 에바 십분지 일을 드릴 것이며
  and with each of the seven lambs, one-tenth.

22. 또 너희를 속하기 위하여 수염소 하나로 속죄제를 드리되
  Include one male goat as a sin offering to make atonement for you.

23. 아침의 번제 곧 상번제 외에 그것들을 드릴 것이니라
  Prepare these in addition to the regular morning burnt offering.

24. 너희는 이 순서대로 칠 일 동안 매일 여호와께 향기로운 화제의 식물을 드리되 상번제와 그 전제 외에 드릴 것이며
  In this way prepare the food for the offering made by fire every day for seven days as an aroma pleasing to the LORD; it is to be prepared in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering.

25. 제 칠 일에는 성회로 모일 것이요 아무 노동도 하지 말 것이니라
  On the seventh day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.

26. 칠칠절 처음 익은 열매 드리는 날에 너희가 여호와께 새 소제를 드릴 때에도 성회로 모일 것이요 아무 노동도 하지 말 것이며
  "'On the day of firstfruits, when you present to the LORD an offering of new grain during the Feast of Weeks, hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.

27. 수송아지 둘과 수양 하나와 일년 된 수양 일곱으로 여호와께 향기로운 번제를 드릴 것이며
  Present a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old as an aroma pleasing to the LORD.

28. 그 소제로는 고운 가루에 기름을 섞어서 쓰되 매 수송아지에는 에바 십분지 삼이요 수양 하나에는 에바 십분지 이요
  With each bull there is to be a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil; with the ram, two-tenths;

29. 어린 양 일곱에는 매 어린 양에 에바 십분지 일을 드릴 것이며
  and with each of the seven lambs, one-tenth.

30. 또 너희를 속하기 위하여 수염소 하나를 드리되
  Include one male goat to make atonement for you.

31. 너희는 다 흠 없는 것으로 상번제와 그 소제와 전제 외에 그것들을 드릴 것이니라
  Prepare these together with their drink offerings, in addition to the regular burnt offering and its grain offering. Be sure the animals are without defect.

시편 72

1. 하나님이여 주의 판단력을 왕에게 주시고 주의 의를 왕의 아들에게 주소서
  Of Solomon. Endow the king with your justice, O God, the royal son with your righteousness.

2. 저가 주의 백성을 의로 판단하며 주의 가난한 자를 공의로 판단하리니
  He will judge your people in righteousness, your afflicted ones with justice.

3. 의로 인하여 산들이 백성에게 평강을 주며 작은 산들도 그리하리로다
  The mountains will bring prosperity to the people, the hills the fruit of righteousness.

4. 저가 백성의 가난한 자를 신원하며 궁핍한 자의 자손을 구원하며 압박하는 자를 꺾으리로다
  He will defend the afflicted among the people and save the children of the needy; he will crush the oppressor.

5. 저희가 해가 있을 동안에 주를 두려워하며 달이 있을 동안에 대대로 그리하리로다
  He will endure as long as the sun, as long as the moon, through all generations.

6. 저는 벤 풀에 내리는 비같이, 땅을 적시는 소낙비같이 임하리니
  He will be like rain falling on a mown field, like showers watering the earth.

7. 저의 날에 의인이 흥왕하여 평강의 풍성함이 달이 다할 때까지 이르리로다
  In his days the righteous will flourish; prosperity will abound till the moon is no more.

8. 저가 바다에서부터 바다까지와 강에서부터 땅 끝까지 다스리리니
  He will rule from sea to sea and from the River to the ends of the earth.

9. 광야에 거하는 자는 저의 앞에 굽히며 그 원수들은 티끌을 핥을 것이며
  The desert tribes will bow before him and his enemies will lick the dust.

10. 다시스와 섬의 왕들이 공세를 바치며 스바와 시바 왕들이 예물을 드리리로다
  The kings of Tarshish and of distant shores will bring tribute to him; the kings of Sheba and Seba will present him gifts.

11. 만왕이 그 앞에 부복하며 열방이 다 그를 섬기리로다
  All kings will bow down to him and all nations will serve him.

12. 저는 궁핍한 자의 부르짖을 때에 건지며 도움이 없는 가난한 자도 건지며
  For he will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no one to help.

13. 저는 가난한 자와 궁핍한 자를 긍휼히 여기며 궁핍한 자의 생명을 구원하며
  He will take pity on the weak and the needy and save the needy from death.

14. 저희 생명을 압박과 강포에서 구속하리니 저희 피가 그 목전에 귀하리로다
  He will rescue them from oppression and violence, for precious is their blood in his sight.

15. 저희가 생존하여 스바의 금을 저에게 드리며 사람들이 저를 위하여 항상 기도하고 종일 찬송하리로다
  Long may he live! May gold from Sheba be given him. May people ever pray for him and bless him all day long.

16. 산꼭대기의 땅에도 화곡이 풍성하고 그 열매가 레바논같이 흔들리며 성에 있는 자가 땅의 풀같이 왕성하리로다
  Let grain abound throughout the land; on the tops of the hills may it sway. Let its fruit flourish like Lebanon; let it thrive like the grass of the field.

17. 그 이름이 영구함이여 그 이름이 해와 같이 장구하리로다 사람들이 그로 인하여 복을 받으리니 열방이 다 그를 복되다 하리로다
  May his name endure forever; may it continue as long as the sun. All nations will be blessed through him, and they will call him blessed.

18. 홀로 기사를 행하시는 여호와 하나님 곧 이스라엘의 하나님을 찬송하며
  Praise be to the LORD God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds.

19. 그 영화로운 이름을 영원히 찬송할찌어다 온 땅에 그 영광이 충만할찌어다 아멘 아멘 이새의 아들 다윗의 기도가 필하다
  Praise be to his glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen and Amen.

이사야 19-20

1. 애굽에 관한 경고라 보라 여호와께서 빠른 구름을 타고 애굽에 임하시리니 애굽의 우상들이 그 앞에서 떨겠고 애굽인의 마음이 그 속에서 녹으리로다
  An oracle concerning Egypt: See, the LORD rides on a swift cloud and is coming to Egypt. The idols of Egypt tremble before him, and the hearts of the Egyptians melt within them.

2. 그가 애굽인을 격동하사 애굽인을 치게 하시리니 그들이 각기 형제를 치며 각기 이웃을 칠 것이요 성읍이 성읍을 치며 나라가 나라를 칠 것이며
  "I will stir up Egyptian against Egyptian--brother will fight against brother, neighbor against neighbor, city against city, kingdom against kingdom.

3. 애굽인의 정신이 그 속에서 쇠약할 것이요 그 도모는 그의 파하신 바가 되리니 그들이 우상과 마술사와 신접한 자와 요술객에게 물으리로다
  The Egyptians will lose heart, and I will bring their plans to nothing; they will consult the idols and the spirits of the dead, the mediums and the spiritists.

4. 그가 애굽인을 잔인한 군주의 손에 붙이시리니 포학한 왕이 그들을 치리하리라 주 만군의 여호와의 말씀이니라
  I will hand the Egyptians over to the power of a cruel master, and a fierce king will rule over them," declares the Lord, the LORD Almighty.

5. 바닷물이 없어지겠고 강이 잦아서 마르겠고
  The waters of the river will dry up, and the riverbed will be parched and dry.

6. 강들에서는 악취가 나겠고 애굽 시냇물은 줄어들고 마르므로 달과 같이 시들겠으며
  The canals will stink; the streams of Egypt will dwindle and dry up. The reeds and rushes will wither,

7. 나일 가까운 곳 나일 언덕의 초장과 나일 강 가까운 곡식 밭이 다 말라서 날아 없어질 것이며
  also the plants along the Nile, at the mouth of the river. Every sown field along the Nile will become parched, will blow away and be no more.

8. 어부들은 탄식하며 무릇 나일 강에 낚시를 던지는 자는 슬퍼하며 물에 그물을 치는 자는 피곤할 것이며
  The fishermen will groan and lament, all who cast hooks into the Nile; those who throw nets on the water will pine away.

9. 세마포를 만드는 자와 백목을 짜는 자들이 수치를 당할 것이며
  Those who work with combed flax will despair, the weavers of fine linen will lose hope.

10. 애굽의 기둥이 부숴지고 품군들이 다 마음에 근심하리라
  The workers in cloth will be dejected, and all the wage earners will be sick at heart.

11. 소안의 방백은 지극히 어리석었고 바로의 가장 지혜로운 모사의 모략은 우준하여졌으니 너희가 어떻게 바로에게 이르기를 나는 지혜로운 자들의 자손이라 나는 옛 왕들의 후예라 할 수 있으랴
  The officials of Zoan are nothing but fools; the wise counselors of Pharaoh give senseless advice. How can you say to Pharaoh, "I am one of the wise men, a disciple of the ancient kings"?

12. 너의 지혜로운 자가 어디 있느냐 그들이 만군의 여호와께서 애굽에 대하여 정하신 뜻을 알 것이요 곧 네게 고할 것이니라
  Where are your wise men now? Let them show you and make known what the LORD Almighty has planned against Egypt.

13. 소안의 방백들은 어리석었고 놉의 방백들은 미혹되었도다 그들은 애굽 지파들의 모퉁이 돌이어늘 애굽으로 그릇가게 하였도다
  The officials of Zoan have become fools, the leaders of Memphis are deceived; the cornerstones of her peoples have led Egypt astray.

14. 여호와께서 그 가운데 사특한 마음을 섞으셨으므로 그들이 애굽으로 매사에 잘못 가게 함이 취한 자가 토하면서 비틀거림 같게 하였으니
  The LORD has poured into them a spirit of dizziness; they make Egypt stagger in all that she does, as a drunkard staggers around in his vomit.

15. 애굽에서 머리나 꼬리나 종려나무 가지나 갈대나 아무 할 일이 없으리라
  There is nothing Egypt can do--head or tail, palm branch or reed.

16. 그 날에 애굽인이 부녀와 같을 것이라 그들이 만군의 여호와의 흔드시는 손이 그 위에 흔들림을 인하여 떨며 두려워할 것이며
  In that day the Egyptians will be like women. They will shudder with fear at the uplifted hand that the LORD Almighty raises against them.

17. 유다의 땅은 애굽의 두려움이 되리니 이는 만군의 여호와께서 애굽에 대하여 정하신 모략을 인함이라 그 소문을 듣는 자마다 떨리라
  And the land of Judah will bring terror to the Egyptians; everyone to whom Judah is mentioned will be terrified, because of what the LORD Almighty is planning against them.

18. 그 날에 애굽 땅에 가나안 방언을 말하며 만군의 여호와를 가리켜 맹세하는 다섯 성읍이 있을 것이며 그 중 하나를 장망성이라 칭하리라
  In that day five cities in Egypt will speak the language of Canaan and swear allegiance to the LORD Almighty. One of them will be called the City of Destruction.

19. 그 날에 애굽 땅 중앙에는 여호와를 위하여 제단이 있겠고 그 변경에는 여호와를 위하여 기둥이 있을 것이요
  In that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the heart of Egypt, and a monument to the LORD at its border.

20. 이것이 애굽 땅에서 만군의 여호와를 위하여 표적과 증거가 되리니 이는 그들이 그 압박하는 자의 연고로 여호와께 부르짖겠고 여호와께서는 한 구원자, 보호자를 보내사 그들을 건지실 것임이라
  It will be a sign and witness to the LORD Almighty in the land of Egypt. When they cry out to the LORD because of their oppressors, he will send them a savior and defender, and he will rescue them.

21. 여호와께서 자기를 애굽에 알게 하시리니 그 날에 애굽인이 여호와를 알고 제물과 예물을 그에게 드리고 경배할 것이요 여호와께 서원하고 그대로 행하리라
  So the LORD will make himself known to the Egyptians, and in that day they will acknowledge the LORD. They will worship with sacrifices and grain offerings; they will make vows to the LORD and keep them.

22. 여호와께서 애굽을 치실 것이라도 치시고는 고치실 것인 고로 그들이 여호와께로 돌아올 것이라 여호와께서 그 간구함을 들으시고 그를 고쳐 주시리라
  The LORD will strike Egypt with a plague; he will strike them and heal them. They will turn to the LORD, and he will respond to their pleas and heal them.

23. 그 날에 애굽에서 앗수르로 통하는 대로가 있어 앗수르 사람은 애굽으로 가겠고 애굽 사람은 앗수르로 갈 것이며 애굽 사람이 앗수르 사람과 함께 경배하리라
  In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will go to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together.

24. 그 날에 이스라엘이 애굽과 앗수르로 더불어 셋이 세계 중에 복이 되리니
  In that day Israel will be the third, along with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing on the earth.

25. 이는 만군의 여호와께서 복을 주어 가라사대 나의 백성 애굽이여, 나의 손으로 지은 앗수르여, 나의 산업 이스라엘이여, 복이 있을 찌어다 하실 것임이니라
  The LORD Almighty will bless them, saying, "Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance."

1. 앗수르 왕 사르곤이 군대 장관을 아스돗으로 보내매 그가 와서 아스돗을 쳐서 취하던 해
  In the year that the supreme commander, sent by Sargon king of Assyria, came to Ashdod and attacked and captured it--

2. 곧 그 때에 여호와께서 아모스의 아들 이사야에게 일러 가라사대 갈찌어다 네 허리에서 베를 끄르고 네 발에서 신을 벗을찌니라 하시매 그가 그대로 하여 벗은 몸과 벗은 발로 행하니라
  at that time the LORD spoke through Isaiah son of Amoz. He said to him, "Take off the sackcloth from your body and the sandals from your feet." And he did so, going around stripped and barefoot.

3. 여호와께서 가라사대 나의 종 이사야가 삼 년 동안 벗은 몸과 벗은 발로 행하여 애굽과 구스에 대하여 예표와 기적이 되게 되었느니라
  Then the LORD said, "Just as my servant Isaiah has gone stripped and barefoot for three years, as a sign and portent against Egypt and Cush,

4. 이와 같이 애굽의 포로와 구스의 사로잡힌 자가 앗수르 왕에게 끌려 갈 때에 젊은 자나 늙은 자가 다 벗은 몸, 벗은 발로 볼기까지 드러내어 애굽의 수치를 뵈이리니
  so the king of Assyria will lead away stripped and barefoot the Egyptian captives and Cushite exiles, young and old, with buttocks bared--to Egypt's shame.

5. 그들이 그 바라던 구스와 자랑하던 애굽을 인하여 놀라고 부끄러워할 것이라
  Those who trusted in Cush and boasted in Egypt will be afraid and put to shame.

6. 그 날에 이 해변 거민이 말하기를 우리가 믿던 나라 곧 우리가 앗수르 왕에게서 벗어나기를 바라고 달려가서 도움을 구하던 나라가 이같이 되었은즉 우리가 어찌 능히 피하리요 하리라
  In that day the people who live on this coast will say, 'See what has happened to those we relied on, those we fled to for help and deliverance from the king of Assyria! How then can we escape?'"

베드로후서 1

1. 예수 그리스도의 종과 사도인 시몬 베드로는 우리 하나님과 구주 예수 그리스도의 의를 힘입어 동일하게 보배로운 믿음을 우리와 같이 받은 자들에게 편지하노니
  Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours:

2. 하나님과 우리 주 예수를 앎으로 은혜와 평강이 너희에게 더욱 많을찌어다
  Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.

3. 그의 신기한 능력으로 생명과 경건에 속한 모든 것을 우리에게 주셨으니 이는 자기의 영광과 덕으로써 우리를 부르신 자를 앎으로 말미암음이라
  His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

4. 이로써 그 보배롭고 지극히 큰 약속을 우리에게 주사 이 약속으로 말미암아 너희로 정욕을 인하여 세상에서 썩어질 것을 피하여 신의 성품에 참예하는 자가 되게 하려 하셨으니
  Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

5. 이러므로 너희가 더욱 힘써 너희 믿음에 덕을, 덕에 지식을,
  For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge;

6. 지식에 절제를, 절제에 인내를, 인내에 경건을,
  and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness;

7. 경건에 형제 우애를, 형제 우애에 사랑을 공급하라
  and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love.

8. 이런 것이 너희에게 있어 흡족한즉 너희로 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 알기에 게으르지 않고 열매 없는 자가 되지 않게 하려니와
  For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

9. 이런 것이 없는 자는 소경이라 원시치 못하고 그의 옛 죄를 깨끗케 하심을 잊었느니라
  But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.

10. 그러므로 형제들아 더욱 힘써 너희 부르심과 택하심을 굳게 하라 너희가 이것을 행한즉 언제든지 실족지 아니하리라
  Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall,

11. 이같이 하면 우리 주 곧 구주 예수 그리스도의 영원한 나라에 들어감을 넉넉히 너희에게 주시리라
  and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

12. 이러므로 너희가 이것을 알고 이미 있는 진리에 섰으나 내가 항상 너희로 생각하게 하려 하노라
  So I will always remind you of these things, even though you know them and are firmly established in the truth you now have.

13. 내가 이 장막에 있을 동안에 너희를 일깨워 생각하게 함이 옳은 줄로 여기노니
  I think it is right to refresh your memory as long as I live in the tent of this body,

14. 이는 우리 주 예수 그리스도께서 내게 지시하신 것같이 나도 이 장막을 벗어날 것이 임박한 줄을 앎이라
  because I know that I will soon put it aside, as our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.

15. 내가 힘써 너희로 하여금 나의 떠난 후에라도 필요할 때는 이런 것을 생각나게 하려 하노라
  And I will make every effort to see that after my departure you will always be able to remember these things.

16. 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 능력과 강림하심을 너희에게 알게 한 것이 공교히 만든 이야기를 좇은 것이 아니요 우리는 그의 크신 위엄을 친히 본 자라
  We did not follow cleverly invented stories when we told you about the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

17. 지극히 큰 영광 중에서 이러한 소리가 그에게 나기를 이는 내 사랑하는 아들이요 내 기뻐하는 자라 하실 때에 저가 하나님 아버지께 존귀와 영광을 받으셨느니라
  For he received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased."

18. 이 소리는 우리가 저와 함께 거룩한 산에 있을 때에 하늘로서 나옴을 들은 것이라
  We ourselves heard this voice that came from heaven when we were with him on the sacred mountain.

19. 또 우리에게 더 확실한 예언이 있어 어두운 데 비취는 등불과 같으니 날이 새어 샛별이 너희 마음에 떠오르기까지 너희가 이것을 주의하는 것이 가하니라
  And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

20. 먼저 알 것은 경의 모든 예언은 사사로이 풀 것이 아니니
  Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation.

21. 예언은 언제든지 사람의 뜻으로 낸 것이 아니요 오직 성령의 감동하심을 입은 사람들이 하나님께 받아 말한 것임이니라
  For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
