민수기 27

1. 요셉의 아들 므낫세 가족에 므낫세의 현손 마길의 증손 길르앗의 손자 헤벨의 아들 슬로브핫의 딸들이 나아왔으니 그 딸들의 이름은 말라와 노아와 호글라와 밀가와 디르사라
  The daughters of Zelophehad son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Makir, the son of Manasseh, belonged to the clans of Manasseh son of Joseph. The names of the daughters were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah and Tirzah. They approached

2. 그들이 회막문에서 모세와 제사장 엘르아살과 족장들과 온 회중 앞에 서서 가로되
  the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and stood before Moses, Eleazar the priest, the leaders and the whole assembly, and said,

3. 우리 아버지가 광야에서 죽었으나 여호와를 거스려 모인 고라의 무리에 들지 아니하고 자기 죄에 죽었고 아들이 없나이다
  "Our father died in the desert. He was not among Korah's followers, who banded together against the LORD, but he died for his own sin and left no sons.

4. 어찌하여 아들이 없다고 우리 아버지의 이름이 그 가족 중에서 삭제되리이까 우리 아버지의 형제 중에서 우리에게 기업을 주소서 하매
  Why should our father's name disappear from his clan because he had no son? Give us property among our father's relatives."

5. 모세가 그 사연을 여호와께 품하니라
  So Moses brought their case before the LORD

6. 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
  and the LORD said to him,

7. 슬로브핫 딸들의 말이 옳으니 너는 반드시 그들의 아비의 형제 중에서 그들에게 기업을 주어 얻게 하되 그 아비의 기업으로 그들에게 돌릴찌니라
  "What Zelophehad's daughters are saying is right. You must certainly give them property as an inheritance among their father's relatives and turn their father's inheritance over to them.

8. 너는 이스라엘 자손에게 고하여 이르기를 사람이 죽고 아들이 없거든 그 기업을 그 딸에게 돌릴 것이요
  "Say to the Israelites, 'If a man dies and leaves no son, turn his inheritance over to his daughter.

9. 딸도 없거든 그 기업을 그 형제에게 줄 것이요
  If he has no daughter, give his inheritance to his brothers.

10. 형제도 없거든 그 기업을 그 아비의 형제에게 줄 것이요
  If he has no brothers, give his inheritance to his father's brothers.

11. 그 아비의 형제도 없거든 그 기업을 가장 가까운 친족에게 주어 얻게 할찌니라 하고 나 여호와가 너 모세에게 명한대로 이스라엘 자손에게 판결의 율례가 되게 할찌니라
  If his father had no brothers, give his inheritance to the nearest relative in his clan, that he may possess it. This is to be a legal requirement for the Israelites, as the LORD commanded Moses.'"

12. 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 너는 이 아바림 산에 올라가서 내가 이스라엘 자손에게 준 땅을 바라보라
  Then the LORD said to Moses, "Go up this mountain in the Abarim range and see the land I have given the Israelites.

13. 본 후에는 네 형 아론의 돌아간 것같이 너도 조상에게로 돌아가리니
  After you have seen it, you too will be gathered to your people, as your brother Aaron was,

14. 이는 신 광야에서 회중이 분쟁할 제 너희가 내 명을 거역하고 그 물가에서 나의 거룩함을 그들의 목전에 나타내지 아니하였음이니라 이 물은 신 광야 가데스의 므리바 물이니라
  for when the community rebelled at the waters in the Desert of Zin, both of you disobeyed my command to honor me as holy before their eyes." (These were the waters of Meribah Kadesh, in the Desert of Zin.)

15. 모세가 여호와께 여짜와 가로되
  Moses said to the LORD,

16. 여호와, 모든 육체의 생명의 하나님이시여 원컨대 한 사람을 이 회중 위에 세워서
  "May the LORD, the God of the spirits of all mankind, appoint a man over this community

17. 그로 그들 앞에 출입하며 그들을 인도하여 출입하게 하사 여호와의 회중으로 목자 없는 양과 같이 되지 않게 하옵소서
  to go out and come in before them, one who will lead them out and bring them in, so the LORD'S people will not be like sheep without a shepherd."

18. 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 눈의 아들 여호수아는 신에 감동된 자니 너는 데려다가 그에게 안수하고
  So the LORD said to Moses, "Take Joshua son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit, and lay your hand on him.

19. 그를 제사장 엘르아살과 온 회중 앞에 세우고 그들의 목전에서 그에게 위탁하여
  Have him stand before Eleazar the priest and the entire assembly and commission him in their presence.

20. 네 존귀를 그에게 돌려 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중으로 그에게 복종하게 하라
  Give him some of your authority so the whole Israelite community will obey him.

21. 그는 제사장 엘르아살 앞에 설 것이요 엘르아살은 그를 위하여 우림의 판결법으로 여호와 앞에 물을 것이며 그와 온 이스라엘 자손 곧 온 회중은 엘르아살의 말을 좇아 나가며 들어올 것이니라
  He is to stand before Eleazar the priest, who will obtain decisions for him by inquiring of the Urim before the LORD. At his command he and the entire community of the Israelites will go out, and at his command they will come in."

22. 모세가 여호와께서 자기에게 명하신 대로 하여 여호수아를 데려다가 제사장 엘르아살과 온 회중 앞에 세우고
  Moses did as the LORD commanded him. He took Joshua and had him stand before Eleazar the priest and the whole assembly.

23. 그에게 안수하여 위탁하되 여호와께서 자기에게 명하신 대로 하였더라
  Then he laid his hands on him and commissioned him, as the LORD instructed through Moses.

시편 70-71

1. 하나님이여 속히 나를 건지소서 여호와여 속히 나를 도우소서
  For the director of music. Of David. A petition. Hasten, O God, to save me; O LORD, come quickly to help me.

2. 내 영혼을 찾는 자로 수치와 무안을 당케 하시며 나의 상함을 기뻐하는 자로 물러가 욕을 받게 하소서
  May those who seek my life be put to shame and confusion; may all who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace.

3. 아하, 아하 하는 자로 자기 수치를 인하여 물러가게 하소서
  May those who say to me, "Aha! Aha!" turn back because of their shame.

4. 주를 찾는 모든 자로 주를 인하여 기뻐하고 즐거워하게 하시며 주의 구원을 사모하는 자로 항상 말하기를 하나님은 광대하시다 하게 하소서
  But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation always say, "Let God be exalted!"

5. 나는 가난하고 궁핍하오니 하나님이여 속히 내게 임하소서 주는 나의 도움이시요 나를 건지시는 자시오니 여호와여 지체치 마소서
  Yet I am poor and needy; come quickly to me, O God. You are my help and my deliverer; O LORD, do not delay.

1. 여호와여 내가 주께 피하오니 나로 영영히 수치를 당케 마소서
  In you, O LORD, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame.

2. 주의 의로 나를 건지시며 나를 풀어 주시며 주의 귀를 내게 기울이사 나를 구원하소서
  Rescue me and deliver me in your righteousness; turn your ear to me and save me.

3. 주는 나의 무시로 피하여 거할 바위가 되소서 주께서 나를 구원하라 명하셨으니 이는 주께서 나의 반석이시요 나의 산성이심이니이다
  Be my rock of refuge, to which I can always go; give the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress.

4. 나의 하나님이여 나를 악인의 손 곧 불의한 자와 흉악한 자의 장중에서 피하게 하소서
  Deliver me, O my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the grasp of evil and cruel men.

5. 주 여호와여 주는 나의 소망이시요 나의 어릴 때부터 의지시라
  For you have been my hope, O Sovereign LORD, my confidence since my youth.

6. 내가 모태에서부터 주의 붙드신 바 되었으며 내 어미 배에서 주의 취하여 내신 바 되었사오니 나는 항상 주를 찬송하리이다
  From birth I have relied on you; you brought me forth from my mother's womb. I will ever praise you.

7. 나는 무리에게 이상함이 되었사오나 주는 나의 견고한 피난처시오니
  I have become like a portent to many, but you are my strong refuge.

8. 주를 찬송함과 주를 존숭함이 종일토록 내 입에 가득하리이다
  My mouth is filled with your praise, declaring your splendor all day long.

9. 나를 늙은 때에 버리지 마시며 내 힘이 쇠약한 때에 떠나지 마소서
  Do not cast me away when I am old; do not forsake me when my strength is gone.

10. 나의 원수들이 내게 대하여 말하며 나의 영혼을 엿보는 자가 서로 꾀하여
  For my enemies speak against me; those who wait to kill me conspire together.

11. 이르기를 하나님이 저를 버리셨은즉 따라 잡으라 건질 자가 없다 하오니
  They say, "God has forsaken him; pursue him and seize him, for no one will rescue him."

12. 하나님이여 나를 멀리 마소서 나의 하나님이여 속히 나를 도우소서
  Be not far from me, O God; come quickly, O my God, to help me.

13. 내 영혼을 대적하는 자로 수치와 멸망을 당케 하시며 나를 모해하려 하는 자에게는 욕과 수욕이 덮이게 하소서
  May my accusers perish in shame; may those who want to harm me be covered with scorn and disgrace.

14. 나는 항상 소망을 품고 주를 더욱 더욱 찬송하리이다
  But as for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more.

15. 내가 측량할 수 없는 주의 의와 구원을 내 입으로 종일 전하리이다
  My mouth will tell of your righteousness, of your salvation all day long, though I know not its measure.

16. 내가 주 여호와의 능하신 행적을 가지고 오겠사오며 주의 의 곧 주의 의만 진술하겠나이다
  I will come and proclaim your mighty acts, O Sovereign LORD; I will proclaim your righteousness, yours alone.

17. 하나님이여 나를 어려서부터 교훈하셨으므로 내가 지금까지 주의 기사를 전하였나이다
  Since my youth, O God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds.

18. 하나님이여 내가 늙어 백수가 될 때에도 나를 버리지 마시며 내가 주의 힘을 후대에 전하고 주의 능을 장래 모든 사람에게 전하기까지 나를 버리지 마소서
  Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your might to all who are to come.

19. 하나님이여 주의 의가 또한 지극히 높으시니이다 하나님이여 주께서 대사를 행하셨사오니 누가 주와 같으리이까
  Your righteousness reaches to the skies, O God, you who have done great things. Who, O God, is like you?

20. 우리에게 많고 심한 고난을 보이신 주께서 우리를 다시 살리시며 땅 깊은 곳에서 다시 이끌어 올리시리이다
  Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up.

21. 나를 더욱 창대하게 하시고 돌이키사 나를 위로하소서
  You will increase my honor and comfort me once again.

22. 나의 하나님이여 내가 또 비파로 주를 찬양하며 주의 성실을 찬양하리이다 이스라엘의 거룩하신 주여 내가 수금으로 주를 찬양하리이다
  I will praise you with the harp for your faithfulness, O my God; I will sing praise to you with the lyre, O Holy One of Israel.

23. 내가 주를 찬양할 때에 내 입술이 기뻐 외치며 주께서 구속하신 내 영혼이 즐거워하리이다
  My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to you--I, whom you have redeemed.

24. 내 혀도 종일토록 주의 의를 말씀하오리니 나를 모해하려 하던 자가 수치와 무안을 당함이니이다
  My tongue will tell of your righteous acts all day long, for those who wanted to harm me have been put to shame and confusion.

■ 혼자 읽기

이사야 17-18

1. 다메섹에 관한 경고라 보라 다메섹이 장차 성읍 모양을 이루지 못하고 무너진 무더기가 될 것이라
  An oracle concerning Damascus: "See, Damascus will no longer be a city but will become a heap of ruins.

2. 아로엘의 성읍들이 버림을 당하리니 양 무리를 치는 곳이 되어 양이 눕되 놀라게 할 자가 없을 것이며
  The cities of Aroer will be deserted and left to flocks, which will lie down, with no one to make them afraid.

3. 에브라임의 요새와 다메섹 나라와 아람의 남은 백성이 멸절하여 이스라엘 자손의 영광같이 되리라 만군의 여호와의 말씀이니라
  The fortified city will disappear from Ephraim, and royal power from Damascus; the remnant of Aram will be like the glory of the Israelites," declares the LORD Almighty.

4. 그 날에 야곱의 영광이 쇠하고 그 살찐 몸이 파리하리니
  "In that day the glory of Jacob will fade; the fat of his body will waste away.

5. 마치 추수하는 자가 곡식을 거두어 가지고 그 손으로 이삭을 벤 것 같고 르바임 골짜기에서 이삭을 주운 것 같으리라
  It will be as when a reaper gathers the standing grain and harvests the grain with his arm--as when a man gleans heads of grain in the Valley of Rephaim.

6. 그러나 오히려 주울 것이 남으리니 감람나무를 흔들 때에 가장 높은 가지 꼭대기에 실과 이 삼개가 남음 같겠고 무성한 나무의 가장 먼 가지에 사 오개가 남음 같으리라 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와의 말씀이니라
  Yet some gleanings will remain, as when an olive tree is beaten, leaving two or three olives on the topmost branches, four or five on the fruitful boughs," declares the LORD, the God of Israel.

7. 그 날에 사람이 자기를 지으신 자를 쳐다보겠으며 그 눈이 이스라엘의 거룩하신 자를 바라보겠고
  In that day men will look to their Maker and turn their eyes to the Holy One of Israel.

8. 자기 손으로 만든 단을 쳐다보지 아니하며 자기 손가락으로 지은 아세라나 태양상을 바라보지 아니할 것이며
  They will not look to the altars, the work of their hands, and they will have no regard for the Asherah poles and the incense altars their fingers have made.

9. 그 날에 그 견고한 성읍들이 옛적에 이스라엘 자손 앞에서 버린 바 된 수풀 속의 처소와 작은 산 꼭대기의 처소 같아서 황폐하리니
  In that day their strong cities, which they left because of the Israelites, will be like places abandoned to thickets and undergrowth. And all will be desolation.

10. 이는 네가 자기의 구원의 하나님을 잊어버리며 자기의 능력의 반석을 마음에 두지 않은 까닭이라 그러므로 네가 기뻐하는 식물을 심으며 이방의 가지도 이종하고
  You have forgotten God your Savior; you have not remembered the Rock, your fortress. Therefore, though you set out the finest plants and plant imported vines,

11. 네가 심는 날에 울타리로 두르고 아침에 너의 씨로 잘 발육하도록 하였으나 근심과 심한 슬픔의 날에 농작물이 없어지리라
  though on the day you set them out, you make them grow, and on the morning when you plant them, you bring them to bud, yet the harvest will be as nothing in the day of disease and incurable pain.

12. 슬프다 많은 민족이 소동하였으되 바다 파도의 뛰노는 소리같이 그들이 소동하였고 열방이 충돌하였으되 큰 물의 몰려옴같이 그들도 충돌하였도다
  Oh, the raging of many nations--they rage like the raging sea! Oh, the uproar of the peoples--they roar like the roaring of great waters!

13. 열방이 충돌하기를 많은 물의 몰려옴과 같이 하나 주께서 그들을 꾸짖으시리니 그들이 멀리 도망함이 산에 겨가 바람 앞에 흩어짐 같겠고 폭풍 앞에 떠도는 티끌 같을 것이라
  Although the peoples roar like the roar of surging waters, when he rebukes them they flee far away, driven before the wind like chaff on the hills, like tumbleweed before a gale.

14. 보라 저녁에 두려움을 당하고 아침 전에 그들이 없어졌나니 이는 우리를 노략한 자의 분깃이요 우리를 강탈한 자의 보응이니라
  In the evening, sudden terror! Before the morning, they are gone! This is the portion of those who loot us, the lot of those who plunder us.

1. 슬프다 구스의 강 건너편 날개 치는 소리 나는 땅이여
  Woe to the land of whirring wings along the rivers of Cush,

2. 갈대배를 물에 띄우고 그 사자를 수로로 보내며 이르기를 너희 경첩한 사자들아 너희는 강들이 흘러 나누인 나라로 가되 장대하고 준수한 백성 곧 시초부터 두려움이 되며 강성하여 대적을 밟는 백성에게로 가라 하도다
  which sends envoys by sea in papyrus boats over the water. Go, swift messengers, to a people tall and smooth-skinned, to a people feared far and wide, an aggressive nation of strange speech, whose land is divided by rivers.

3. 세상의 모든 거민, 지상에 거하는 너희여 산들 위에 기호를 세우거든 너희는 보고 나팔을 불거든 너희는 들을찌니라
  All you people of the world, you who live on the earth, when a banner is raised on the mountains, you will see it, and when a trumpet sounds, you will hear it.

4. 여호와께서 내게 이르시되 내가 나의 처소에서 종용히 감찰함이 쬐이는 일광 같고 가을 더위에 운무 같도다
  This is what the LORD says to me: "I will remain quiet and will look on from my dwelling place, like shimmering heat in the sunshine, like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest."

5. 추수하기 전에 꽃이 떨어지고 포도가 맺혀 익어갈 때에 내가 낫으로 그 연한 가지를 베며 퍼진 가지를 찍어 버려서
  For, before the harvest, when the blossom is gone and the flower becomes a ripening grape, he will cut off the shoots with pruning knives, and cut down and take away the spreading branches.

6. 산의 독수리들에게와 땅의 들짐승들에게 끼쳐 주리니 산의 독수리들이 그것으로 과하하며 땅의 들짐승들이 다 그것으로 과동하리라 하셨음이니라
  They will all be left to the mountain birds of prey and to the wild animals; the birds will feed on them all summer, the wild animals all winter.

7. 그 때에 강들이 흘러 나누인 나라의 장대하고 준수하며 시초부터 두려움이 되며 강성하여 대적을 밟는 백성에게서 만군의 여호와께 드릴 예물을 가지고 만군의 여호와의 이름을 두신 곳 시온 산에 이르리라
  At that time gifts will be brought to the LORD Almighty from a people tall and smooth-skinned, from a people feared far and wide, an aggressive nation of strange speech, whose land is divided by rivers--the gifts will be brought to Mount Zion, the place of the Name of the LORD Almighty.

베드로전서 5

1. 너희 중 장로들에게 권하노니 나는 함께 장로 된 자요 그리스도의 고난의 증인이요 나타날 영광에 참예할 자로라
  To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder, a witness of Christ's sufferings and one who also will share in the glory to be revealed:

2. 너희 중에 있는 하나님의 양 무리를 치되 부득이함으로 하지 말고 오직 하나님의 뜻을 좇아 자원함으로 하며 더러운 이를 위하여 하지 말고 오직 즐거운 뜻으로 하며
  Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, serving as overseers--not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve;

3. 맡기운 자들에게 주장하는 자세를 하지 말고 오직 양 무리의 본이 되라
  not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.

4. 그리하면 목자장이 나타나실 때에 시들지 아니하는 영광의 면류관을 얻으리라
  And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.

5. 젊은 자들아 이와 같이 장로들에게 순복하고 다 서로 겸손으로 허리를 동이라 하나님이 교만한 자를 대적하시되 겸손한 자들에게는 은혜를 주시느니라
  Young men, in the same way be submissive to those who are older. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble."

6. 그러므로 하나님의 능하신 손 아래서 겸손하라 때가 되면 너희를 높이시리라
  Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.

7. 너희 염려를 다 주께 맡겨 버리라 이는 저가 너희를 권고하심이니라
  Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

8. 근신하라 깨어라 너희 대적 마귀가 우는 사자같이 두루 다니며 삼킬 자를 찾나니
  Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

9. 너희는 믿음을 굳게 하여 저를 대적하라 이는 세상에 있는 너희 형제들도 동일한 고난을 당하는 줄을 앎이니라
  Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

10. 모든 은혜의 하나님 곧 그리스도 안에서 너희를 부르사 자기의 영원한 영광에 들어가게 하신 이가 잠간 고난을 받은 너희를 친히 온전케 하시며 굳게 하시며 강하게 하시며 터를 견고케 하시리라
  And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.

11. 권력이 세세무궁토록 그에게 있을찌어다 아멘
  To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.

12. 내가 신실한 형제로 아는 실루아노로 말미암아 너희에게 간단히 써서 권하고 이것이 하나님의 참된 은혜임을 증거하노니 너희는 이 은혜에 굳게 서라
  With the help of Silas, whom I regard as a faithful brother, I have written to you briefly, encouraging you and testifying that this is the true grace of God. Stand fast in it.

13. 함께 택하심을 받은 바벨론에 있는 교회가 너희에게 문안하고 내 아들 마가도 그리하느니라
  She who is in Babylon, chosen together with you, sends you her greetings, and so does my son Mark.

14. 너희는 사랑의 입맞춤으로 피차 문안하라 그리스도 안에 있는 너희 모든 이에게 평강이 있을찌어다
  Greet one another with a kiss of love. Peace to all of you who are in Christ.
