역대하 36

1. 국민이 요시야의 아들 여호아하스를 세워 그 부친을 대신하여 예루살렘에서 왕을 삼으니
  And the people of the land took Jehoahaz son of Josiah and made him king in Jerusalem in place of his father.

2. 여호아하스가 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 이십삼 세더라 저가 예루살렘에서 치리한지 석 달에
  Jehoahaz was twenty-three years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months.

3. 애굽 왕이 예루살렘에서 그 위를 폐하고 또 그 나라로 은 일백 달란트와 금 한 달란트를 벌금으로 내게 하며
  The king of Egypt dethroned him in Jerusalem and imposed on Judah a levy of a hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold.

4. 애굽 왕 느고가 또 그 형제 엘리아김을 세워 유다와 예루살렘 왕을 삼고 그 이름을 고쳐 여호야김이라 하고 그 형제 여호아하스를 애굽으로 잡아갔더라
  The king of Egypt made Eliakim, a brother of Jehoahaz, king over Judah and Jerusalem and changed Eliakim's name to Jehoiakim. But Neco took Eliakim's brother Jehoahaz and carried him off to Egypt.

5. 여호야김이 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 이십오 세라 예루살렘에서 십일 년을 치리하며 그 하나님 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하였더라
  Jehoiakim was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem eleven years. He did evil in the eyes of the LORD his God.

6. 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살이 올라와서 치고 저를 쇠사슬로 결박하여 바벨론으로 잡아가고
  Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon attacked him and bound him with bronze shackles to take him to Babylon.

7. 느부갓네살이 또 여호와의 전 기구들을 바벨론으로 가져다가 바벨론에 있는 자기 신당에 두었더라
  Nebuchadnezzar also took to Babylon articles from the temple of the LORD and put them in his temple there.

8. 여호야김의 남은 사적과 그 행한 모든 가증한 일과 그 심술이 이스라엘과 유다 열왕기에 기록되니라 그 아들 여호야긴이 대신하여 왕이 되니라
  The other events of Jehoiakim's reign, the detestable things he did and all that was found against him, are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah. And Jehoiachin his son succeeded him as king.

9. 여호야긴이 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 팔 세라 예루살렘에서 석 달 열흘을 치리하며 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하였더라
  Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months and ten days. He did evil in the eyes of the LORD.

10. 세초에 느부갓네살이 보내어 여호야긴을 바벨론으로 잡아가고 여호와의 전의 귀한 기구도 함께 가져가고 그 아자비 시드기야를 세워 유다와 예루살렘 왕을 삼았더라
  In the spring, King Nebuchadnezzar sent for him and brought him to Babylon, together with articles of value from the temple of the LORD, and he made Jehoiachin's uncle, Zedekiah, king over Judah and Jerusalem.

11. 시드기야가 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 이십일 세라 예루살렘에서 십일 년을 치리하며
  Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem eleven years.

12. 그 하나님 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하고 선지자 예레미야가 여호와의 말씀으로 일러도 그의 앞에서 겸비치 아니하였으며
  He did evil in the eyes of the LORD his God and did not humble himself before Jeremiah the prophet, who spoke the word of the LORD.

13. 느부갓네살 왕이 저로 그 하나님을 가리켜 맹세케 하였으나 저가 배반하고 목을 곧게 하며 마음을 강퍅케 하여 이스라엘 하나님 여호와께로 돌아오지 아니하였고
  He also rebelled against King Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him take an oath in God's name. He became stiff-necked and hardened his heart and would not turn to the LORD, the God of Israel.

14. 제사장의 어른들과 백성도 크게 범죄하여 이방 모든 가증한 일을 본받아서 여호와께서 예루살렘에 거룩하게 두신 그 전을 더럽게 하였으며
  Furthermore, all the leaders of the priests and the people became more and more unfaithful, following all the detestable practices of the nations and defiling the temple of the LORD, which he had consecrated in Jerusalem.

15. 그 열조의 하나님 여호와께서 그 백성과 그 거하시는 곳을 아끼사 부지런히 그 사자들을 그 백성에게 보내어 이르셨으나
  The LORD, the God of their fathers, sent word to them through his messengers again and again, because he had pity on his people and on his dwelling place.

16. 그 백성이 하나님의 사자를 비웃고 말씀을 멸시하며 그 선지자를 욕하여 여호와의 진노로 그 백성에게 미쳐서 만회할 수 없게 하였으므로
  But they mocked God's messengers, despised his words and scoffed at his prophets until the wrath of the LORD was aroused against his people and there was no remedy.

17. 하나님이 갈대아 왕의 손에 저희를 다 붙이시매 저가 와서 그 성전에서 칼로 청년을 죽이며 청년 남녀와 노인과 백발노옹을 긍휼히 여기지 아니하였으며
  He brought up against them the king of the Babylonians, who killed their young men with the sword in the sanctuary, and spared neither young man nor young woman, old man or aged. God handed all of them over to Nebuchadnezzar.

18. 또 하나님의 전의 대소 기명들과 여호와의 전의 보물과 왕과 방백들의 보물을 다 바벨론으로 가져가고
  He carried to Babylon all the articles from the temple of God, both large and small, and the treasures of the LORD'S temple and the treasures of the king and his officials.

19. 또 하나님의 전을 불사르며 예루살렘 성을 헐며 그 모든 궁실을 불사르며 그 모든 귀한 기명을 훼파하고
  They set fire to God's temple and broke down the wall of Jerusalem; they burned all the palaces and destroyed everything of value there.

20. 무릇 칼에서 벗어난 자를 저가 바벨론으로 사로잡아 가매 무리가 거기서 갈대아 왕과 그 자손의 노예가 되어 바사국이 주재할 때까지 이르니라
  He carried into exile to Babylon the remnant, who escaped from the sword, and they became servants to him and his sons until the kingdom of Persia came to power.

21. 이에 토지가 황무하여 안식년을 누림같이 안식하여 칠십 년을 지내었으니 여호와께서 예레미야의 입으로 하신 말씀이 응하였더라
  The land enjoyed its sabbath rests; all the time of its desolation it rested, until the seventy years were completed in fulfillment of the word of the LORD spoken by Jeremiah.

22. 바사 왕 고레스 원년에 여호와께서 예레미야의 입으로 하신 말씀을 응하게 하시려고 바사 왕 고레스의 마음을 감동시키시매 저가 온 나라에 공포도 하고 조서도 내려 가로되
  In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the LORD spoken by Jeremiah, the LORD moved the heart of Cyrus king of Persia to make a proclamation throughout his realm and to put it in writing:

23. 바사 왕 고레스는 말하노니 하늘의 신 여호와께서 세상 만국으로 내게 주셨고 나를 명하여 유다 예루살렘에 전을 건축하라 하셨나니 너희 중에 무릇 그 백성 된 자는 다 올라갈찌어다 너희 하나님 여호와께서 함께하시기를 원하노라 하였더라
  "This is what Cyrus king of Persia says: "'The LORD, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for him at Jerusalem in Judah. Anyone of his people among you--may the LORD his God be with him, and let him go up.'"

요한계시록 22

1. 또 저가 수정같이 맑은 생명수의 강을 내게 보이니 하나님과 및 어린 양의 보좌로부터 나서
  Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb

2. 길 가운데로 흐르더라 강 좌우에 생명나무가 있어 열두 가지 실과를 맺히되 달마다 그 실과를 맺히고 그 나무 잎사귀들은 만국을 소성하기 위하여 있더라
  down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.

3. 다시 저주가 없으며 하나님과 그 어린 양의 보좌가 그 가운데 있으리니 그의 종들이 그를 섬기며
  No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him.

4. 그의 얼굴을 볼 터이요 그의 이름도 저희 이마에 있으리라
  They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.

5. 다시 밤이 없겠고 등불과 햇빛이 쓸데없으니 이는 주 하나님이 저희에게 비취심이라 저희가 세세토록 왕 노릇 하리로다
  There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.

6. 또 그가 내게 말하기를 이 말은 신실하고 참된지라 주 곧 선지자들의 영의 하나님이 그의 종들에게 결코 속히 될 일을 보이시려고 그의 천사를 보내셨도다
  The angel said to me, "These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place."

7. 보라 내가 속히 오리니 이 책의 예언의 말씀을 지키는 자가 복이 있으리라 하더라
  "Behold, I am coming soon! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy in this book."

8. 이것들을 보고 들은 자는 나 요한이니 내가 듣고 볼 때에 이 일을 내게 보이던 천사의 발 앞에 경배하려고 엎드렸더니
  I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me.

9. 저가 내게 말하기를 나는 너와 네 형제 선지자들과 또 이 책의 말을 지키는 자들과 함께 된 종이니 그리하지 말고 오직 하나님께 경배하라 하더라
  But he said to me, "Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers the prophets and of all who keep the words of this book. Worship God!"

10. 또 내게 말하되 이 책의 예언의 말씀을 인봉하지 말라 때가 가까우니라
  Then he told me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, because the time is near.

11. 불의를 하는 자는 그대로 불의를 하고 더러운 자는 그대로 더럽고 의로운 자는 그대로 의를 행하고 거룩한 자는 그대로 거룩되게 하라
  Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong; let him who is vile continue to be vile; let him who does right continue to do right; and let him who is holy continue to be holy."

12. 보라 내가 속히 오리니 내가 줄 상이 내게 있어 각 사람에게 그의 일한 대로 갚아 주리라
  "Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done.

13. 나는 알파와 오메가요 처음과 나중이요 시작과 끝이라
  I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

14. 그 두루마기를 빠는 자들은 복이 있으니 이는 저희가 생명나무에 나아가며 문들을 통하여 성에 들어갈 권세를 얻으려 함이로다
  "Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.

15. 개들과 술객들과 행음자들과 살인자들과 우상 숭배자들과 및 거짓말을 좋아하며 지어내는 자마다 성 밖에 있으리라
  Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

16. 나 예수는 교회들을 위하여 내 사자를 보내어 이것들을 너희에게 증거하게 하였노라 나는 다윗의 뿌리요 자손이니 곧 광명한 새벽 별이라 하시더라
  "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."

17. 성령과 신부가 말씀하시기를 오라 하시는도다 듣는 자도 오라 할 것이요 목마른 자도 올 것이요 또 원하는 자는 값없이 생명수를 받으라 하시더라
  The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.

18. 내가 이 책의 예언의 말씀을 듣는 각인에게 증거하노니 만일 누구든지 이것들 외에 더하면 하나님이 이 책에 기록된 재앙들을 그에게 더하실 터이요
  I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book.

19. 만일 누구든지 이 책의 예언의 말씀에서 제하여 버리면 하나님이 이 책에 기록된 생명나무와 및 거룩한 성에 참예함을 제하여 버리시리라
  And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.

20. 이것들을 증거하신 이가 가라사대 내가 진실로 속히 오리라 하시거늘 아멘 주 예수여 오시옵소서
  He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

21. 주 예수의 은혜가 모든 자들에게 있을찌어다 아멘
  The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people. Amen.

말라기 4

1. 만군의 여호와가 이르노라 보라 극렬한 풀무불 같은 날이 이르리니 교만한 자와 악을 행하는 자는 다 초개 같을 것이라 그 이르는 날이 그들을 살라 그 뿌리와 가지를 남기지 아니할 것이로되
  "Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and that day that is coming will set them on fire," says the LORD Almighty. "Not a root or a branch will be left to them.

2. 내 이름을 경외하는 너희에게는 의로운 해가 떠올라서 치료하는 광선을 발하리니 너희가 나가서 외양간에서 나온 송아지같이 뛰리라
  But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall.

3. 또 너희가 악인을 밟을 것이니 그들이 나의 정한 날에 너희 발바닥 밑에 재와 같으리라 만군의 여호와의 말이니라
  Then you will trample down the wicked; they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day when I do these things," says the LORD Almighty.

4. 너희는 내가 호렙에서 온 이스라엘을 위하여 내 종 모세에게 명한 법 곧 율례와 법도를 기억하라
  "Remember the law of my servant Moses, the decrees and laws I gave him at Horeb for all Israel.

5. 보라 여호와의 크고 두려운 날이 이르기 전에 내가 선지 엘리야를 너희에게 보내리니
  "See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes.

6. 그가 아비의 마음을 자녀에게로 돌이키게 하고 자녀들의 마음을 그들의 아비에게로 돌이키게 하리라 돌이키지 아니하면 두렵건대 내가 와서 저주로 그 땅을 칠까 하노라 하시니라
  He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse."

요한복음 21

1. 그 후에 예수께서 디베랴 바다에서 또 제자들에게 자기를 나타내셨으니 나타내신 일이 이러하니라
  Afterward Jesus appeared again to his disciples, by the Sea of Tiberias. It happened this way:

2. 시몬 베드로와 디두모라 하는 도마와 갈릴리 가나 사람 나다나엘과 세베대의 아들들과 또 다른 제자 둘이 함께 있더니
  Simon Peter, Thomas (called Didymus), Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples were together.

3. 시몬 베드로가 나는 물고기 잡으러 가노라 하매 저희가 우리도 함께 가겠다 하고 나가서 배에 올랐으나 이 밤에 아무것도 잡지 못하였더니
  "I'm going out to fish," Simon Peter told them, and they said, "We'll go with you." So they went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.

4. 날이 새어갈 때에 예수께서 바닷가에 서셨으나 제자들이 예수신 줄 알지 못하는지라
  Early in the morning, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not realize that it was Jesus.

5. 예수께서 이르시되 얘들아 너희에게 고기가 있느냐 대답하되 없나이다
  He called out to them, "Friends, haven't you any fish?" "No," they answered.

6. 가라사대 그물을 배 오른편에 던지라 그리하면 얻으리라 하신대 이에 던졌더니 고기가 많아 그물을 들 수 없더라
  He said, "Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some." When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

7. 예수의 사랑하시는 그 제자가 베드로에게 이르되 주시라 하니 시몬 베드로가 벗고 있다가 주라 하는 말을 듣고 겉옷을 두른 후에 바다로 뛰어내리더라
  Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, "It is the Lord!" As soon as Simon Peter heard him say, "It is the Lord," he wrapped his outer garment around him (for he had taken it off) and jumped into the water.

8. 다른 제자들은 육지에서 상거가 불과 한 오십 간쯤 되므로 작은 배를 타고 고기 든 그물을 끌고 와서
  The other disciples followed in the boat, towing the net full of fish, for they were not far from shore, about a hundred yards.

9. 육지에 올라 보니 숯불이 있는데 그 위에 생선이 놓였고 떡도 있더라
  When they landed, they saw a fire of burning coals there with fish on it, and some bread.

10. 예수께서 가라사대 지금 잡은 생선을 좀 가져오라 하신대
  Jesus said to them, "Bring some of the fish you have just caught."

11. 시몬 베드로가 올라가서 그물을 육지에 끌어올리니 가득히 찬 큰 고기가 일백쉰세 마리라 이같이 많으나 그물이 찢어지지 아니하였더라
  Simon Peter climbed aboard and dragged the net ashore. It was full of large fish, 153, but even with so many the net was not torn.

12. 예수께서 가라사대 와서 조반을 먹으라 하시니 제자들이 주신 줄 아는 고로 당신이 누구냐 감히 묻는 자가 없더라
  Jesus said to them, "Come and have breakfast." None of the disciples dared ask him, "Who are you?" They knew it was the Lord.

13. 예수께서 가셔서 떡을 가져다가 저희에게 주시고 생선도 그와 같이 하시니라
  Jesus came, took the bread and gave it to them, and did the same with the fish.

14. 이것은 예수께서 죽은 자 가운데서 살아나신 후에 세 번째로 제자들에게 나타나신 것이라
  This was now the third time Jesus appeared to his disciples after he was raised from the dead.

15. 저희가 조반 먹은 후에 예수께서 시몬 베드로에게 이르시되 요한의 아들 시몬아 네가 이 사람들보다 나를 더 사랑하느냐 하시니 가로되 주여 그러하외다 내가 주를 사랑하는 줄 주께서 아시나이다 가라사대 내 어린 양을 먹이라 하시고
  When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon son of John, do you truly love me more than these?" "Yes, Lord," he said, "you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my lambs."

16. 또 두 번째 가라사대 요한의 아들 시몬아 네가 나를 사랑하느냐 하시니 가로되 주여 그러하외다 내가 주를 사랑하는 줄 주께서 아시나이다 가라사대 내 양을 치라 하시고
  Again Jesus said, "Simon son of John, do you truly love me?" He answered, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Take care of my sheep."

17. 세 번째 가라사대 요한의 아들 시몬아 네가 나를 사랑하느냐 하시니 주께서 세 번째 네가 나를 사랑하느냐 하시므로 베드로가 근심하여 가로되 주여 모든 것을 아시오매 내가 주를 사랑하는 줄을 주께서 아시나이다 예수께서 가라사대 내 양을 먹이라
  The third time he said to him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" He said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my sheep.

18. 내가 진실로 진실로 네게 이르노니 젊어서는 네가 스스로 띠 띠고 원하는 곳으로 다녔거니와 늙어서는 네 팔을 벌리리니 남이 네게 띠 띠우고 원치 아니하는 곳으로 데려가리라
  I tell you the truth, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go."

19. 이 말씀을 하심은 베드로가 어떠한 죽음으로 하나님께 영광을 돌릴 것을 가리키심이러라 이 말씀을 하시고 베드로에게 이르시되 나를 따르라 하시니
  Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God. Then he said to him, "Follow me!"

20. 베드로가 돌이켜 예수의 사랑하시는 그 제자가 따르는 것을 보니 그는 만찬석에서 예수의 품에 의지하여 주여 주를 파는 자가 누구오니이까 묻던 자러라
  Peter turned and saw that the disciple whom Jesus loved was following them. (This was the one who had leaned back against Jesus at the supper and had said, "Lord, who is going to betray you?")

21. 이에 베드로가 그를 보고 예수께 여짜오되 주여 이 사람은 어떻게 되겠삽나이까
  When Peter saw him, he asked, "Lord, what about him?"

22. 예수께서 가라사대 내가 올 때까지 그를 머물게 하고자 할찌라도 네게 무슨 상관이냐 너는나를 따르라 하시더라
  Jesus answered, "If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me."

23. 이 말씀이 형제들에게 나가서 그 제자는 죽지 아니하겠다 하였으나 예수의 말씀은 그가 죽지않겠다 하신 것이 아니라 내가 올 때까지 그를 머물게 하고자 할찌라도 네게 무슨 상관이냐 하신것이러라
  Because of this, the rumor spread among the brothers that this disciple would not die. But Jesus did not say that he would not die; he only said, "If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you?"

24. 이 일을 증거하고 이 일을 기록한 제자가 이 사람이라 우리는 그의 증거가 참인 줄 아노라
  This is the disciple who testifies to these things and who wrote them down. We know that his testimony is true.

25. 예수의 행하신 일이 이 외에도 많으니 만일 낱낱이 기록된다면 이 세상이라도 이 기록된 책을 두기에 부족할 줄 아노라
  Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.
