역대상 26-27

1. 문지기의 반차가 이러하니라 고라 족속 아삽의 자손 중에 고레의 아들 므셀레먀와
  The divisions of the gatekeepers: From the Korahites: Meshelemiah son of Kore, one of the sons of Asaph.

2. 므셀레먀의 아들들 맏아들 스가랴와 둘째 여디야엘과 세째 스바댜와 네째 야드니엘과
  Meshelemiah had sons: Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,

3. 다섯째 엘람과 여섯째 여호하난과 일곱째 엘여호에내며
  Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth and Eliehoenai the seventh.

4. 오벧에돔의 아들들 맏아들 스마야와 둘째 여호사밧과 세째 요아와 네째 사갈과 다섯째 느다넬과
  Obed-Edom also had sons: Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, Sacar the fourth, Nethanel the fifth,

5. 여섯째 암미엘과 일곱째 잇사갈과 여덟째 브울래대니 이는 하나님이 오벧에돔에게 복을 주셨음이며
  Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh and Peullethai the eighth. (For God had blessed Obed-Edom.)

6. 그 아들 스마야도 두어 아들을 낳았으니 저희의 족속을 다스리는 자요 큰 용사라
  His son Shemaiah also had sons, who were leaders in their father's family because they were very capable men.

7. 스마야의 아들들은 오드니와 르바엘과 오벳과 엘사밧이며 엘사밧의 형제 엘리후와 스마갸는 능력이 있는 자니
  The sons of Shemaiah: Othni, Rephael, Obed and Elzabad; his relatives Elihu and Semakiah were also able men.

8. 이는 다 오벧에돔의 자손이라 저희와 그 아들들과 그 형제들은 다 능력이 있어 그 직무를 잘하는 자니 오벧에돔에게서 난 자가 육십이 명이며
  All these were descendants of Obed-Edom; they and their sons and their relatives were capable men with the strength to do the work--descendants of Obed-Edom, 62 in all.

9. 또 므셀레먀의 아들과 형제 십팔 인은 능력이 있는 자며
  Meshelemiah had sons and relatives, who were able men--18 in all.

10. 므라리 자손 중 호사가 아들들이 있으니 그 장자는 시므리라 시므리는 본래 맏아들이 아니나 그 아비가 장자를 삼았고
  Hosah the Merarite had sons: Shimri the first (although he was not the firstborn, his father had appointed him the first),

11. 둘째는 힐기야요 세째는 드발리야요 네째는 스가랴니 호사의 아들과 형제가 십 삼인이더라
  Hilkiah the second, Tabaliah the third and Zechariah the fourth. The sons and relatives of Hosah were 13 in all.

12. 이상은 다 문지기의 반장으로서 그 형제처럼 직임을 얻어 여호와의 전에서 섬기는 자라
  These divisions of the gatekeepers, through their chief men, had duties for ministering in the temple of the LORD, just as their relatives had.

13. 각 문을 지키기 위하여 그 종족을 따라 무론 대소하고 다 제비뽑혔으니
  Lots were cast for each gate, according to their families, young and old alike.

14. 셀레먀는 동방에 당첨되었고 그 아들 스가랴는 명철한 의사라 저를 위하여 제비뽑으니 북방에 당첨되었고
  The lot for the East Gate fell to Shelemiah. Then lots were cast for his son Zechariah, a wise counselor, and the lot for the North Gate fell to him.

15. 오벧에돔은 남방에 당첨되었고 그 아들들은 곳간에 당첨되었으며
  The lot for the South Gate fell to Obed-Edom, and the lot for the storehouse fell to his sons.

16. 숩빔과 호사는 서방에 당첨되어 큰 길로 통한 살래겟 문 곁에 있어 서로 대하여 파수하였으니
  The lots for the West Gate and the Shalleketh Gate on the upper road fell to Shuppim and Hosah. Guard was alongside of guard:

17. 동방에 레위 사람이 여섯이요 북방에 매일 네 사람이요 남방에 매일 네 사람이요 곳간에는 둘씩이며
  There were six Levites a day on the east, four a day on the north, four a day on the south and two at a time at the storehouse.

18. 낭실 서편 큰 길에 네 사람이요 낭실에 두 사람이니
  As for the court to the west, there were four at the road and two at the court itself.

19. 고라와 므라리 자손의 문지기의 반차가 이러하였더라
  These were the divisions of the gatekeepers who were descendants of Korah and Merari.

20. 레위 사람 중에 아히야는 하나님의 전 곳간과 성물 곳간을 맡았으며
  Their fellow Levites were in charge of the treasuries of the house of God and the treasuries for the dedicated things.

21. 라단의 자손은 곧 라단에게 속한 게르손 사람의 자손이니 게르손 사람 라단에게 속한 족장은 여히엘리라
  The descendants of Ladan, who were Gershonites through Ladan and who were heads of families belonging to Ladan the Gershonite, were Jehieli,

22. 여히엘리의 아들은 스담과 그 아우 요엘이니 여호와의 전 곳간을 맡았고
  the sons of Jehieli, Zetham and his brother Joel. They were in charge of the treasuries of the temple of the LORD.

23. 아므람 자손과 이스할 자손과 헤브론 자손과 웃시엘 자손 중에
  From the Amramites, the Izharites, the Hebronites and the Uzzielites:

24. 모세의 아들 게르솜의 자손 스브엘은 곳간을 맡았고
  Shubael, a descendant of Gershom son of Moses, was the officer in charge of the treasuries.

25. 그 형제 곧 엘리에셀에게서 난 자는 그 아들 르하뱌와 그 아들 여사야와 그 아들 요람과 그 아들 시그리와 그 아들 슬로못이라
  His relatives through Eliezer: Rehabiah his son, Jeshaiah his son, Joram his son, Zicri his son and Shelomith his son.

26. 이 슬로못과 그 형제는 성물의 모든 곳간을 맡았으니 곧 다윗 왕과 족장과 천부장과 백부장과 군대의 모든 장관이 구별하여 드린 성물이라
  Shelomith and his relatives were in charge of all the treasuries for the things dedicated by King David, by the heads of families who were the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds, and by the other army commanders.

27. 저희가 싸울 때에 노략하여 얻은 물건 중에서 구별하여 드려 여호와의 전을 중수하게 한 것이며
  Some of the plunder taken in battle they dedicated for the repair of the temple of the LORD.

28. 선견자 사무엘과 기스의 아들 사울과 넬의 아들 아브넬과 스루야의 아들 요압이 무론 무엇이든지 구별하여 드린 성물은 다 슬로못과 그 형제의 수하에 있었더라
  And everything dedicated by Samuel the seer and by Saul son of Kish, Abner son of Ner and Joab son of Zeruiah, and all the other dedicated things were in the care of Shelomith and his relatives.

29. 이스할 자손 중에 그나냐와 그 아들들은 이스라엘 바깥 일을 다스리는 유사와 재판관이 되었고
  From the Izharites: Kenaniah and his sons were assigned duties away from the temple, as officials and judges over Israel.

30. 헤브론 자손 중에 하사뱌와 그 동족 용사 일천 칠백 인은 요단 서편에서 이스라엘을 주관하여 여호와의 모든 일과 왕을 섬기는 직임을 맡았으며
  From the Hebronites: Hashabiah and his relatives--seventeen hundred able men--were responsible in Israel west of the Jordan for all the work of the LORD and for the king's service.

31. 헤브론 자손 중에 여리야가 그 세계와 종족대로 헤브론 자손의 족장이 되었더라 다윗이 위에 있은 지 사십 년에 길르앗 야셀에서 그 족속 중에 구하여 큰 용사를 얻었으니
  As for the Hebronites, Jeriah was their chief according to the genealogical records of their families. In the fortieth year of David's reign a search was made in the records, and capable men among the Hebronites were found at Jazer in Gilead.

32. 그 형제 중 이천칠백 명이 다 용사요 족장이라 다윗 왕이 저희로 르우벤과 갓과 므낫세 반 지파를 주관하여 하나님의 모든 일과 왕의 일을 다스리게 하였더라
  Jeriah had twenty-seven hundred relatives, who were able men and heads of families, and King David put them in charge of the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh for every matter pertaining to God and for the affairs of the king.

1. 이스라엘 자손의 모든 족장과 천부장과 백부장과 왕을 섬기는 유사들이 그 인수대로 반차가 나누이니 각 반열이 이만 사천 명씩이라 일 년 동안 달마다 체번하여 들어가며 나왔으니
  This is the list of the Israelites--heads of families, commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds, and their officers, who served the king in all that concerned the army divisions that were on duty month by month throughout the year. Each division consisted of 24,000 men.

2. 정월 첫반의 반장은 삽디엘의 아들 야소브암이요 그 반열에 이만 사천 명이라
  In charge of the first division, for the first month, was Jashobeam son of Zabdiel. There were 24,000 men in his division.

3. 저는 베레스의 자손으로서 정월반의 모든 장관의 두목이 되었고
  He was a descendant of Perez and chief of all the army officers for the first month.

4. 이월반의 반장은 아호아 사람 도대요 또 미글롯이 그 반의 주장이 되었으니 그 반열에 이만 사천 명이요
  In charge of the division for the second month was Dodai the Ahohite; Mikloth was the leader of his division. There were 24,000 men in his division.

5. 삼월 군대의 세째 장관은 대제사장 여호야다의 아들 브나야요 그 반열에 이만 사천명이라
  The third army commander, for the third month, was Benaiah son of Jehoiada the priest. He was chief and there were 24,000 men in his division.

6. 이 브나야는 삼십 인 중에 용사요 삼십 인 위에 있으며 그 반열 중에 그 아들 암미사밧이 있으며
  This was the Benaiah who was a mighty man among the Thirty and was over the Thirty. His son Ammizabad was in charge of his division.

7. 사월 네째 장관은 요압의 아우 아사헬이요 그 다음은 그 아들 스바댜니 그 반열에 이만 사천명이요
  The fourth, for the fourth month, was Asahel the brother of Joab; his son Zebadiah was his successor. There were 24,000 men in his division.

8. 오월 다섯째 장관은 이스라 사람 삼훗이니 그 반열에 이만 사천 명이요
  The fifth, for the fifth month, was the commander Shamhuth the Izrahite. There were 24,000 men in his division.

9. 유월 여섯째 장관은 드고아 사람 익게스의 아들 이라니 그 반열에 이만 사천 명이요
  The sixth, for the sixth month, was Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite. There were 24,000 men in his division.

10. 칠월 일곱째 장관은 에브라임 자손에 속한 발론 사람 헬레스니 그 반열에 이만 사천 명이요
  The seventh, for the seventh month, was Helez the Pelonite, an Ephraimite. There were 24,000 men in his division.

11. 팔월 여덟째 장관은 세라 족속 후사 사람 십브개니 그 반열에 이만 사천 명이요
  The eighth, for the eighth month, was Sibbecai the Hushathite, a Zerahite. There were 24,000 men in his division.

12. 구월 아홉째 장관은 베냐민 자손 아나돗 사람 아비에셀이니 그 반열에 이만 사천 명이요
  The ninth, for the ninth month, was Abiezer the Anathothite, a Benjamite. There were 24,000 men in his division.

13. 시월 열째 장관은 세라 족속 느도바 사람 마하래니 그 반열에 이만 사천 명이요
  The tenth, for the tenth month, was Maharai the Netophathite, a Zerahite. There were 24,000 men in his division.

14. 십일월 열한째 장관은 에브라임 자손에 속한 비라돈 사람 브나야니 그 반열에 이만 사천 명이요
  The eleventh, for the eleventh month, was Benaiah the Pirathonite, an Ephraimite. There were 24,000 men in his division.

15. 십이월 열둘째 장관은 옷니엘 자손에 속한 느도바 사람 헬대니 그 반열에 이만 사천 명이었더라
  The twelfth, for the twelfth month, was Heldai the Netophathite, from the family of Othniel. There were 24,000 men in his division.

16. 이스라엘 지파를 관할하는 자는 이러하니라 르우벤 사람의 관장은 시그리의 아들 엘리에셀이요 시므온 사람의 관장은 마아가의 아들 스바댜요
  The officers over the tribes of Israel: over the Reubenites: Eliezer son of Zicri; over the Simeonites: Shephatiah son of Maacah;

17. 레위 사람의 관장은 그무엘의 아들 하사뱌요 아론 자손의 관장은 사독이요
  over Levi: Hashabiah son of Kemuel; over Aaron: Zadok;

18. 유다의 관장은 다윗의 형 엘리후요 잇사갈의 관장은 미가엘의 아들 오므리요
  over Judah: Elihu, a brother of David; over Issachar: Omri son of Michael;

19. 스불론의 관장은 오바댜의 아들 이스마야요 납달리의 관장은 아스리엘의 아들 여레못이요
  over Zebulun: Ishmaiah son of Obadiah; over Naphtali: Jerimoth son of Azriel;

20. 에브라임 자손의 관장은 아사시야의 아들 호세아요 므낫세 반 지파의 관장은 브다야의 아들 요엘이요
  over the Ephraimites: Hoshea son of Azaziah; over half the tribe of Manasseh: Joel son of Pedaiah;

21. 길르앗에 있는 므낫세 반 지파의 관장은 스가랴의 아들 잇도요 베냐민의 관장은 아브넬의 아들 야아시엘이요
  over the half-tribe of Manasseh in Gilead: Iddo son of Zechariah; over Benjamin: Jaasiel son of Abner;

22. 단의 관장은 여로함의 아들 아사렐이니 이스라엘 지파의 관장이 이러하며
  over Dan: Azarel son of Jeroham. These were the officers over the tribes of Israel.

23. 이스라엘 사람의 이십 세 이하의 수효는 다윗이 조사하지 아니하였으니 이는 여호와께서 전에 말씀하시기를 이스라엘 사람을 하늘의 별같이 많게 하리라 하셨음이라
  David did not take the number of the men twenty years old or less, because the LORD had promised to make Israel as numerous as the stars in the sky.

24. 스루야의 아들 요압이 조사하기를 시작하고 끝내지 못하여서 그 일로 인하여 진노가 이스라엘에게 임한지라 그 수효를 다윗 왕의 역대지략에 기록하지 아니하였더라
  Joab son of Zeruiah began to count the men but did not finish. Wrath came on Israel on account of this numbering, and the number was not entered in the book of the annals of King David.

25. 아디엘의 아들 아스마웻은 왕의 곳간을 맡았고 웃시야의 아들 요나단은 밭과 성읍과 촌과 산성의 곳간을 맡았고
  Azmaveth son of Adiel was in charge of the royal storehouses. Jonathan son of Uzziah was in charge of the storehouses in the outlying districts, in the towns, the villages and the watchtowers.

26. 글룹의 아들 에스리는 밭 가는 농부를 거느렸고
  Ezri son of Kelub was in charge of the field workers who farmed the land.

27. 라마 사람 시므이는 포도원을 맡았고 스밤 사람 삽디는 포도원의 소산 포도주 곳간을 맡았고
  Shimei the Ramathite was in charge of the vineyards. Zabdi the Shiphmite was in charge of the produce of the vineyards for the wine vats.

28. 게델 사람 바알하난은 평야의 감람나무와 뽕나무를 맡았고 요아스는 기름 곳간을 맡았고
  Baal-Hanan the Gederite was in charge of the olive and sycamore-fig trees in the western foothills. Joash was in charge of the supplies of olive oil.

29. 사론 사람 시드래는 사론에서 먹이는 소 떼를 맡았고 아들래의 아들 사밧은 골짜기에 있는 소 떼를 맡았고
  Shitrai the Sharonite was in charge of the herds grazing in Sharon. Shaphat son of Adlai was in charge of the herds in the valleys.

30. 이스마엘 사람 오빌은 약대를 맡았고 메로놋 사람 예드야는 나귀를 맡았고 하갈 사람 야시스는 양 떼를 맡았으니
  Obil the Ishmaelite was in charge of the camels. Jehdeiah the Meronothite was in charge of the donkeys.

31. 다윗 왕의 재산을 맡은 자들이 이러하였더라
  Jaziz the Hagrite was in charge of the flocks. All these were the officials in charge of King David's property.

32. 다윗의 아자비 요나단은 지혜가 있어서 모사가 되며 서기관도 되었고 학모니의 아들 여히엘은 왕의 아들들의 배종이 되었고
  Jonathan, David's uncle, was a counselor, a man of insight and a scribe. Jehiel son of Hacmoni took care of the king's sons.

33. 아히도벨은 왕의 모사가 되었고 아렉 사람 후새는 왕의 벗이 되었고
  Ahithophel was the king's counselor. Hushai the Arkite was the king's friend.

34. 브나야의 아들 여호야다와 아비아달은 아히도벨의 다음이 되었고 요압은 왕의 군대 장관이 되었더라
  Ahithophel was succeeded by Jehoiada son of Benaiah and by Abiathar. Joab was the commander of the royal army.

베드로후서 1

1. 예수 그리스도의 종과 사도인 시몬 베드로는 우리 하나님과 구주 예수 그리스도의 의를 힘입어 동일하게 보배로운 믿음을 우리와 같이 받은 자들에게 편지하노니
  Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours:

2. 하나님과 우리 주 예수를 앎으로 은혜와 평강이 너희에게 더욱 많을찌어다
  Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.

3. 그의 신기한 능력으로 생명과 경건에 속한 모든 것을 우리에게 주셨으니 이는 자기의 영광과 덕으로써 우리를 부르신 자를 앎으로 말미암음이라
  His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

4. 이로써 그 보배롭고 지극히 큰 약속을 우리에게 주사 이 약속으로 말미암아 너희로 정욕을 인하여 세상에서 썩어질 것을 피하여 신의 성품에 참예하는 자가 되게 하려 하셨으니
  Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

5. 이러므로 너희가 더욱 힘써 너희 믿음에 덕을, 덕에 지식을,
  For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge;

6. 지식에 절제를, 절제에 인내를, 인내에 경건을,
  and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness;

7. 경건에 형제 우애를, 형제 우애에 사랑을 공급하라
  and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love.

8. 이런 것이 너희에게 있어 흡족한즉 너희로 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 알기에 게으르지 않고 열매 없는 자가 되지 않게 하려니와
  For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

9. 이런 것이 없는 자는 소경이라 원시치 못하고 그의 옛 죄를 깨끗케 하심을 잊었느니라
  But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.

10. 그러므로 형제들아 더욱 힘써 너희 부르심과 택하심을 굳게 하라 너희가 이것을 행한즉 언제든지 실족지 아니하리라
  Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall,

11. 이같이 하면 우리 주 곧 구주 예수 그리스도의 영원한 나라에 들어감을 넉넉히 너희에게 주시리라
  and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

12. 이러므로 너희가 이것을 알고 이미 있는 진리에 섰으나 내가 항상 너희로 생각하게 하려 하노라
  So I will always remind you of these things, even though you know them and are firmly established in the truth you now have.

13. 내가 이 장막에 있을 동안에 너희를 일깨워 생각하게 함이 옳은 줄로 여기노니
  I think it is right to refresh your memory as long as I live in the tent of this body,

14. 이는 우리 주 예수 그리스도께서 내게 지시하신 것같이 나도 이 장막을 벗어날 것이 임박한 줄을 앎이라
  because I know that I will soon put it aside, as our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.

15. 내가 힘써 너희로 하여금 나의 떠난 후에라도 필요할 때는 이런 것을 생각나게 하려 하노라
  And I will make every effort to see that after my departure you will always be able to remember these things.

16. 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 능력과 강림하심을 너희에게 알게 한 것이 공교히 만든 이야기를 좇은 것이 아니요 우리는 그의 크신 위엄을 친히 본 자라
  We did not follow cleverly invented stories when we told you about the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

17. 지극히 큰 영광 중에서 이러한 소리가 그에게 나기를 이는 내 사랑하는 아들이요 내 기뻐하는 자라 하실 때에 저가 하나님 아버지께 존귀와 영광을 받으셨느니라
  For he received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased."

18. 이 소리는 우리가 저와 함께 거룩한 산에 있을 때에 하늘로서 나옴을 들은 것이라
  We ourselves heard this voice that came from heaven when we were with him on the sacred mountain.

19. 또 우리에게 더 확실한 예언이 있어 어두운 데 비취는 등불과 같으니 날이 새어 샛별이 너희 마음에 떠오르기까지 너희가 이것을 주의하는 것이 가하니라
  And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

20. 먼저 알 것은 경의 모든 예언은 사사로이 풀 것이 아니니
  Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation.

21. 예언은 언제든지 사람의 뜻으로 낸 것이 아니요 오직 성령의 감동하심을 입은 사람들이 하나님께 받아 말한 것임이니라
  For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

미가 4

1. 말일에 이르러는 여호와의 전의 산이 산들의 꼭대기에 굳게 서며 작은 산들 위에 뛰어나고 민족들이 그리로 몰려갈 것이라
  In the last days the mountain of the LORD'S temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and peoples will stream to it.

2. 곧 많은 이방이 가며 이르기를 오라 우리가 여호와의 산에 올라가서 야곱의 하나님의 전에 이르자 그가 그 도로 우리에게 가르치실 것이라 우리가 그 길로 행하리라 하리니 이는 율법이 시온에서부터 나올 것이요 여호와의 말씀이 예루살렘에서부터 나올 것임이라
  Many nations will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths." The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

3. 그가 많은 민족 중에 심판하시며 먼 곳 강한 이방을 판결하시리니 무리가 그 칼을 쳐서 보습을 만들고 창을 쳐서 낫을 만들 것이며 이 나라와 저 나라가 다시는 칼을 들고 서로 치지 아니하며 다시는 전쟁을 연습하지 아니하고
  He will judge between many peoples and will settle disputes for strong nations far and wide. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.

4. 각 사람이 자기 포도나무 아래와 자기 무화과나무 아래 앉을 것이라 그들을 두렵게 할 자가 없으리니 이는 만군의 여호와의 입이 이같이 말씀하셨음이니라
  Every man will sit under his own vine and under his own fig tree, and no one will make them afraid, for the LORD Almighty has spoken.

5. 만민이 각각 자기의 신의 이름을 빙자하여 행하되 오직 우리는 우리 하나님 여호와의 이름을 빙자하여 영원히 행하리로다
  All the nations may walk in the name of their gods; we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.

6. 여호와께서 말씀하시되 그 날에는 내가 저는 자를 모으며 쫓겨난 자와 내가 환난받게 한 자를 모아
  "In that day," declares the LORD, "I will gather the lame; I will assemble the exiles and those I have brought to grief.

7. 그 저는 자로 남은 백성이 되게 하며 멀리 쫓겨났던 자로 강한 나라가 되게 하고 나 여호와가 시온 산에서 이제부터 영원까지 그들을 치리하리라 하셨나니
  I will make the lame a remnant, those driven away a strong nation. The LORD will rule over them in Mount Zion from that day and forever.

8. 너 양 떼의 망대요 딸 시온의 산이여 이전 권능 곧 딸 예루살렘의 나라가 네게로 돌아오리라
  As for you, O watchtower of the flock, O stronghold of the Daughter of Zion, the former dominion will be restored to you; kingship will come to the Daughter of Jerusalem."

9. 이제 네가 어찌하여 부르짖느냐 너희 중에 왕이 없어졌고 네 모사가 죽었으므로 네가 해산하는 여인처럼 고통함이냐
  Why do you now cry aloud--have you no king? Has your counselor perished, that pain seizes you like that of a woman in labor?

10. 딸 시온이여 해산하는 여인처럼 애써 구로하여 낳을찌어다 이제 네가 성읍에서 나가서 들에 거하며 또 바벨론까지 이르러 거기서 구원을 얻으리니 여호와께서 거기서 너를 너의 원수들의 손에서 속량하여 내시리라
  Writhe in agony, O Daughter of Zion, like a woman in labor, for now you must leave the city to camp in the open field. You will go to Babylon; there you will be rescued. There the LORD will redeem you out of the hand of your enemies.

11. 이제 많은 이방이 모여서 너를 쳐 이르기를 시온이 더럽게 되며 그것을 우리 눈으로 바라보기를 원하노라 하거니와
  But now many nations are gathered against you. They say, "Let her be defiled, let our eyes gloat over Zion!"

12. 그들이 여호와의 뜻을 알지 못하며 그 모략을 깨닫지 못한 것이라 여호와께서 곡식단을 타작 마당에 모음같이 그들을 모으셨나니
  But they do not know the thoughts of the LORD; they do not understand his plan, he who gathers them like sheaves to the threshing floor.

13. 딸 시온이여 일어나서 칠찌어다 내가 네 뿔을 철 같게 하며 네 굽을 놋 같게 하리니 네가 여러 백성을 쳐서 깨뜨릴 것이라 내가 그들의 탈취물을 구별하여 여호와께 드리며 그들의 재물을 온 땅의 대주재께 돌리리라
  "Rise and thresh, O Daughter of Zion, for I will give you horns of iron; I will give you hoofs of bronze and you will break to pieces many nations." You will devote their ill-gotten gains to the LORD, their wealth to the Lord of all the earth.

누가복음 13

1. 그 때 마침 두어 사람이 와서 빌라도가 어떤 갈릴리 사람들의 피를 저희의 제물에 섞은 일로 예수께 고하니
  Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices.

2. 대답하여 가라사대 너희는 이 갈릴리 사람들이 이같이 해받음으로써 모든 갈릴리 사람보다 죄가 더 있는 줄 아느냐
  Jesus answered, "Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way?

3. 너희에게 이르노니 아니라 너희도 만일 회개치 아니하면 다 이와 같이 망하리라
  I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.

4. 또 실로암에서 망대가 무너져 치어 죽은 열여덟 사람이 예루살렘에 거한 모든 사람보다 죄가 더 있는 줄 아느냐
  Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them--do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem?

5. 너희에게 이르노니 아니라 너희도 만일 회개치 아니하면 다 이와 같이 망하리라
  I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish."

6. 이에 비유로 말씀하시되 한 사람이 포도원에 무화과나무를 심은 것이 있더니 와서 그 열매를 구하였으나 얻지 못한지라
  Then he told this parable: "A man had a fig tree, planted in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it, but did not find any.

7. 과원지기에게 이르되 내가 삼 년을 와서 이 무화과나무에 실과를 구하되 얻지 못하니 찍어 버리라 어찌 땅만 버리느냐
  So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard, 'For three years now I've been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven't found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?'

8. 대답하여 가로되 주인이여 금년에도 그대로 두소서 내가 두루 파고 거름을 주리니
  "'Sir,' the man replied, 'leave it alone for one more year, and I'll dig around it and fertilize it.

9. 이후에 만일 실과가 열면 이어니와 그렇지 않으면 찍어 버리소서 하였다 하시니라
  If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.'"

10. 안식일에 한 회당에서 가르치실 때에
  On a Sabbath Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues,

11. 십팔 년 동안을 귀신들려 앓으며 꼬부라져 조금도 펴지 못하는 한 여자가 있더라
  and a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all.

12. 예수께서 보시고 불러 이르시되 여자여 네가 네 병에서 놓였다 하시고
  When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, "Woman, you are set free from your infirmity."

13. 안수하시매 여자가 곧 펴고 하나님께 영광을 돌리는지라
  Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God.

14. 회당장이 예수께서 안식일에 병 고치시는 것을 분내어 무리에게 이르되 일할 날이 엿새가 있으니 그 동안에 와서 고침을 받을 것이요 안식일에는 말 것이니라 하거늘
  Indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, the synagogue ruler said to the people, "There are six days for work. So come and be healed on those days, not on the Sabbath."

15. 주께서 대답하여 가라사대 외식하는 자들아 너희가 각각 안식일에 자기의 소나 나귀나 마구에서 풀어내어 이끌고 가서 물을 먹이지 아니하느냐
  The Lord answered him, "You hypocrites! Doesn't each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or donkey from the stall and lead it out to give it water?

16. 그러면 십팔 년 동안 사단에게 매인 바 된 이 아브라함의 딸을 안식일에 이 매임에서 푸는 것이 합당치 아니하냐
  Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her?"

17. 예수께서 이 말씀을 하시매 모든 반대하는 자들은 부끄러워하고 온 무리는 그 하시는 모든 영광스러운 일을 기뻐하니라
  When he said this, all his opponents were humiliated, but the people were delighted with all the wonderful things he was doing.

18. 그러므로 가라사대 하나님의 나라가 무엇과 같을꼬 내가 무엇으로 비할꼬
  Then Jesus asked, "What is the kingdom of God like? What shall I compare it to?

19. 마치 사람이 자기 채전에 갖다 심은 겨자씨 한 알 같으니 자라 나무가 되어 공중의 새들이 그 가지에 깃들였느니라
  It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the birds of the air perched in its branches."

20. 또 가라사대 내가 하나님의 나라를 무엇으로 비할꼬
  Again he asked, "What shall I compare the kingdom of God to?

21. 마치 여자가 가루 서 말 속에 갖다 넣어 전부 부풀게 한 누룩과 같으니라 하셨더라
  It is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into a large amount of flour until it worked all through the dough."

22. 예수께서 각성 각촌으로 다니사 가르치시며 예루살렘으로 여행하시더니
  Then Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he made his way to Jerusalem.

23. 혹이 여짜오되 주여 구원을 얻는 자가 적으니이까 저희에게 이르시되
  Someone asked him, "Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?" He said to them,

24. 좁은 문으로 들어가기를 힘쓰라 내가 너희에게 이르노니 들어가기를 구하여도 못하는 자가 많으리라
  "Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to.

25. 집주인이 일어나 문을 한 번 닫은 후에 너희가 밖에 서서 문을 두드리며 주여 열어 주소서 하면 저가 대답하여 가로되 나는 너희가 어디로서 온 자인지 알지 못하노라 하리니
  Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, 'Sir, open the door for us.' "But he will answer, 'I don't know you or where you come from.'

26. 그 때에 너희가 말하되 우리는 주 앞에서 먹고 마셨으며 주는 또한 우리 길거리에서 가르치셨나이다 하나
  "Then you will say, 'We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.'

27. 저가 너희에게 일러 가로되 나는 너희가 어디로서 왔는지 알지 못하노라 행악하는 모든 자들아 나를 떠나가라 하리라
  "But he will reply, 'I don't know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!'

28. 너희가 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱과 모든 선지자는 하나님 나라에 있고 오직 너희는 밖에 쫓겨난 것을 볼 때에 거기서 슬피 울며 이를 갊이 있으리라
  "There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out.

29. 사람들이 동서 남북으로부터 와서 하나님의 나라 잔치에 참석하리니
  People will come from east and west and north and south, and will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of God.

30. 보라 나중 된 자로서 먼저 될 자도 있고 먼저 된 자로서 나중 될 자도 있느니라 하시더라
  Indeed there are those who are last who will be first, and first who will be last."

31. 곧 그 때에 어떤 바리새인들이 나아와서 이르되 나가서 여기를 떠나소서 헤롯이 당신을 죽이고자 하나이다
  At that time some Pharisees came to Jesus and said to him, "Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill you."

32. 가라사대 가서 저 여우에게 이르되 오늘과 내일 내가 귀신을 쫓아내며 병을 낫게 하다가 제 삼 일에는 완전하여지리라 하라
  He replied, "Go tell that fox, 'I will drive out demons and heal people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.'

33. 그러나 오늘과 내일과 모레는 내가 갈 길을 가야 하리니 선지자가 예루살렘 밖에서는 죽는 법이 없느니라
  In any case, I must keep going today and tomorrow and the next day--for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem!

34. 예루살렘아 예루살렘아 선지자들을 죽이고 네게 파송된 자들을 돌로 치는 자여 암탉이 제 새끼를 날개 아래 모음같이 내가 너희의 자녀를 모으려 한 일이 몇 번이냐 그러나 너희가 원치 아니하였도다
  "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!

35. 보라 너희 집이 황폐하여 버린 바 되리라 내가 너희에게 이르노니 너희가 주의 이름으로 오시는 이를 찬송하리로다 할 때까지는 나를 보지 못하리라 하시니라
  Look, your house is left to you desolate. I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.'"
