열왕기상 11

1. 솔로몬 왕이 바로의 딸 외에 이방의 많은 여인을 사랑하였으니 곧 모압과 암몬과 에돔과 시돈과 헷 여인이라
  King Solomon, however, loved many foreign women besides Pharaoh's daughter--Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians and Hittites.

2. 여호와께서 일찌기 이 여러 국민에게 대하여 이스라엘 자손에게 말씀하시기를 너희는 저희와 서로 통하지 말며 저희도 너희와 서로 통하게 말라 저희가 정녕코 너희의 마음을 돌이켜 저희의 신들을 좇게 하리라 하셨으나 솔로몬이 저희를 연애하였더라
  They were from nations about which the LORD had told the Israelites, "You must not intermarry with them, because they will surely turn your hearts after their gods." Nevertheless, Solomon held fast to them in love.

3. 왕은 후비가 칠백 인이요 빈장이 삼백 인이라 왕비들이 왕의 마음을 돌이켰더라
  He had seven hundred wives of royal birth and three hundred concubines, and his wives led him astray.

4. 솔로몬의 나이 늙을 때에 왕비들이 그 마음을 돌이켜 다른 신들을 좇게 하였으므로 왕의 마음이 그 부친 다윗의 마음과 같지 아니하여 그 하나님 여호와 앞에 온전치 못하였으니
  As Solomon grew old, his wives turned his heart after other gods, and his heart was not fully devoted to the LORD his God, as the heart of David his father had been.

5. 이는 시돈 사람의 여신 아스다롯을 좇고 암몬 사람의 가증한 밀곰을 좇음이라
  He followed Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, and Molech the detestable god of the Ammonites.

6. 솔로몬이 여호와의 눈앞에서 악을 행하여 그 부친 다윗이 여호와를 온전히 좇음같이 좇지 아니하고
  So Solomon did evil in the eyes of the LORD; he did not follow the LORD completely, as David his father had done.

7. 모압의 가증한 그모스를 위하여 예루살렘 앞 산에 산당을 지었고 또 암몬 자손의 가증한 몰록을 위하여 그와 같이 하였으며
  On a hill east of Jerusalem, Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the detestable god of Moab, and for Molech the detestable god of the Ammonites.

8. 저가 또 이족 후비들을 위하여 다 그와 같이 한지라 저희가 자기의 신들에게 분향하며 제사하였더라
  He did the same for all his foreign wives, who burned incense and offered sacrifices to their gods.

9. 솔로몬이 마음을 돌이켜 이스라엘 하나님 여호와를 떠나므로 여호와께서 저에게 진노하시니라 여호와께서 일찌기 두 번이나 저에게 나타나시고
  The LORD became angry with Solomon because his heart had turned away from the LORD, the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice.

10. 이 일에 대하여 명하사 다른 신을 좇지 말라 하셨으나 저가 여호와의 명령을 지키지 않았으므로
  Although he had forbidden Solomon to follow other gods, Solomon did not keep the LORD'S command.

11. 여호와께서 솔로몬에게 말씀하시되 네게 이러한 일이 있었고 또 네가 나의 언약과 내가 네게 명한 법도를 지키지 아니하였으니 내가 결단코 이 나라를 네게서 빼앗아 네 신복에게 주리라
  So the LORD said to Solomon, "Since this is your attitude and you have not kept my covenant and my decrees, which I commanded you, I will most certainly tear the kingdom away from you and give it to one of your subordinates.

12. 그러나 네 아비 다윗을 위하여 네 세대에는 이 일을 행치 아니하고 네 아들의 손에서 빼앗으려니와
  Nevertheless, for the sake of David your father, I will not do it during your lifetime. I will tear it out of the hand of your son.

13. 오직 내가 이 나라를 다 빼앗지 아니하고 나의 종 다윗과 나의 뺀 예루살렘을 위하여 한 지파를 네 아들에게 주리라 하셨더라
  Yet I will not tear the whole kingdom from him, but will give him one tribe for the sake of David my servant and for the sake of Jerusalem, which I have chosen."

14. 여호와께서 에돔 사람 하닷을 일으켜 솔로몬의 대적이 되게 하시니 저는 왕의 자손으로서 에돔에 거하였더라
  Then the LORD raised up against Solomon an adversary, Hadad the Edomite, from the royal line of Edom.

15. 전에 다윗이 에돔에 있을 때에 군대 장관 요압이 가서 죽임을 당한 자들을 장사하고 에돔의 남자를 다 쳐서 죽였는데
  Earlier when David was fighting with Edom, Joab the commander of the army, who had gone up to bury the dead, had struck down all the men in Edom.

16. 요압은 에돔의 남자를 다 없이하기까지 이스라엘 무리와 함께 여섯 달을 그 곳에 유하였었더라
  Joab and all the Israelites stayed there for six months, until they had destroyed all the men in Edom.

17. 그 때에 하닷은 작은 아이라 그 아비의 신복 중 두어 에돔 사람과 함께 도망하여 애굽으로 가려 하여
  But Hadad, still only a boy, fled to Egypt with some Edomite officials who had served his father.

18. 미디안에서 발행하여 바란에 이르고 거기서 사람을 데리고 애굽으로 가서 애굽 왕 바로에게 나아가매 바로가 저에게 집을 주고 먹을 양식을 정하며 또 토지를 주었더라
  They set out from Midian and went to Paran. Then taking men from Paran with them, they went to Egypt, to Pharaoh king of Egypt, who gave Hadad a house and land and provided him with food.

19. 하닷이 바로의 눈앞에 크게 은총을 얻었으므로 바로가 자기의 처제 곧 왕비 다브네스의 아우로 저의 아내를 삼으매
  Pharaoh was so pleased with Hadad that he gave him a sister of his own wife, Queen Tahpenes, in marriage.

20. 다브네스의 아우가 그로 말미암아 아들 그누밧을 낳았더니 다브네스가 그 아이를 바로의 궁중에서 젖을 떼게 하매 그누밧이 바로의 궁에서 바로의 아들 가운데 있었더라
  The sister of Tahpenes bore him a son named Genubath, whom Tahpenes brought up in the royal palace. There Genubath lived with Pharaoh's own children.

21. 하닷이 애굽에 있어서 다윗이 그 열조와 함께 잔 것과 군대 장관 요압의 죽은 것을 듣고 바로에게 고하되 나를 보내어 내 고국으로 가게 하옵소서
  While he was in Egypt, Hadad heard that David rested with his fathers and that Joab the commander of the army was also dead. Then Hadad said to Pharaoh, "Let me go, that I may return to my own country."

22. 바로가 저에게 이르되 네가 나와 함께 있어 무슨 부족함이 있기에 네 고국으로 가기를 구하느뇨 대답하되 없나이다 그러나 아무쪼록 나를 보내옵소서 하였더라
  "What have you lacked here that you want to go back to your own country?" Pharaoh asked. "Nothing," Hadad replied, "but do let me go!"

23. 하나님이 또 엘리아다의 아들 르손을 일으켜 솔로몬의 대적이 되게 하시니 저는 그 주인 소바 왕 하닷에셀에게서 도망한 자라
  And God raised up against Solomon another adversary, Rezon son of Eliada, who had fled from his master, Hadadezer king of Zobah.

24. 다윗이 소바 사람을 죽일 때에 르손이 사람들을 모으고 그 떼의 괴수가 되며 다메섹으로 가서 웅거하고 거기서 왕이 되었더라
  He gathered men around him and became the leader of a band of rebels when David destroyed the forces of Zobah; the rebels went to Damascus, where they settled and took control.

25. 솔로몬의 일평생에 하닷의 끼친 환난 외에 르손이 수리아 왕이 되어 이스라엘을 대적하고 미워하였더라
  Rezon was Israel's adversary as long as Solomon lived, adding to the trouble caused by Hadad. So Rezon ruled in Aram and was hostile toward Israel.

26. 솔로몬의 신복 느밧의 아들 여로보암이 또한 손을 들어 왕을 대적하였으니 저는 에브라임 족속인 스레다 사람이요 그 어미의 이름은 스루아니 과부더라
  Also, Jeroboam son of Nebat rebelled against the king. He was one of Solomon's officials, an Ephraimite from Zeredah, and his mother was a widow named Zeruah.

27. 저가 손을 들어 왕을 대적하는 까닭은 이러하니라 솔로몬이 밀로를 건축하고 그 부친 다윗의 성의 무너진 것을 수축하였는데
  Here is the account of how he rebelled against the king: Solomon had built the supporting terraces and had filled in the gap in the wall of the city of David his father.

28. 이 사람 여로보암은 큰 용사라 솔로몬이 이 소년의 부지런함을 보고 세워 요셉 족속의 역사를 감독하게 하였더니
  Now Jeroboam was a man of standing, and when Solomon saw how well the young man did his work, he put him in charge of the whole labor force of the house of Joseph.

29. 그 즈음에 여로보암이 예루살렘에서 나갈 때에 실로 사람 선지자 아히야가 길에서 저를 만나니 아히야가 새 의복을 입었고 그 두 사람만 들에 있었더라
  About that time Jeroboam was going out of Jerusalem, and Ahijah the prophet of Shiloh met him on the way, wearing a new cloak. The two of them were alone out in the country,

30. 아히야가 그 입은 새 옷을 잡아 열두 조각에 찢고
  and Ahijah took hold of the new cloak he was wearing and tore it into twelve pieces.

31. 여로보암에게 이르되 너는 열 조각을 취하라 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 말씀이 내가 이 나라를 솔로몬의 손에서 찢어 빼앗아 열 지파를 네게 주고
  Then he said to Jeroboam, "Take ten pieces for yourself, for this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: 'See, I am going to tear the kingdom out of Solomon's hand and give you ten tribes.

32. 오직 내 종 다윗을 위하고 이스라엘 모든 지파 중에서 뺀 성 예루살렘을 위하여 한 지파를 솔로몬에게 주리니
  But for the sake of my servant David and the city of Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, he will have one tribe.

33. 이는 저희가 나를 버리고 시돈 사람의 여신 아스다롯과 모압의 신 그모스와 암몬 자손의 신 밀곰을 숭배하며 그 아비 다윗의 행함 같지 아니하여 내 길로 행치 아니하며 나 보기에 정직한 일과 나의 법도와 나의 율례를 행치 아니함이니라
  I will do this because they have forsaken me and worshiped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Molech the god of the Ammonites, and have not walked in my ways, nor done what is right in my eyes, nor kept my statutes and laws as David, Solomon's father, did.

34. 그러나 내가 뺀 내 종 다윗이 내 명령과 내 법도를 지켰으므로 내가 저를 위하여 솔로몬의 생전에는 온 나라를 그 손에서 빼앗지 아니하고 주관하게 하려니와
  " 'But I will not take the whole kingdom out of Solomon's hand; I have made him ruler all the days of his life for the sake of David my servant, whom I chose and who observed my commands and statutes.

35. 내가 그 아들의 손에서 나라를 빼앗아 그 열 지파를 네게 줄 것이요
  I will take the kingdom from his son's hands and give you ten tribes.

36. 그 아들에게는 내가 한 지파를 주어서 내가 내 이름을 두고자 하여 택한 성 예루살렘에서 내 종 다윗에게 한 등불이 항상 내 앞에 있게 하리라
  I will give one tribe to his son so that David my servant may always have a lamp before me in Jerusalem, the city where I chose to put my Name.

37. 내가 너를 취하리니 너는 무릇 네 마음에 원하는 대로 다스려 이스라엘 위에 왕이 되되
  However, as for you, I will take you, and you will rule over all that your heart desires; you will be king over Israel.

38. 네가 만일 내가 명한 모든 일에 순종하고 내 길로 행하며 내 눈에 합당한 일을 하며 내 종 다윗의 행함같이 내 율례와 명령을 지키면 내가 너와 함께 있어 내가 다윗을 위하여 세운 것같이 너를 위하여 견고한 집을 세우고 이스라엘을 네게 주리라
  If you do whatever I command you and walk in my ways and do what is right in my eyes by keeping my statutes and commands, as David my servant did, I will be with you. I will build you a dynasty as enduring as the one I built for David and will give Israel to you.

39. 내가 이로 인하여 다윗의 자손을 괴롭게 할 터이나 영원히 하지는 아니하리라 하셨느니라 한지라
  I will humble David's descendants because of this, but not forever.'"

40. 이러므로 솔로몬이 여로보암을 죽이려 하매 여로보암이 일어나 애굽으로 도망하여 애굽 왕 시삭에게 이르러 솔로몬의 죽기까지 애굽에 있으니라
  Solomon tried to kill Jeroboam, but Jeroboam fled to Egypt, to Shishak the king, and stayed there until Solomon's death.

41. 솔로몬의 남은 사적과 무릇 저의 행한 일과 그 지혜는 솔로몬의 행장에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
  As for the other events of Solomon's reign--all he did and the wisdom he displayed--are they not written in the book of the annals of Solomon?

42. 솔로몬이 예루살렘에서 온 이스라엘을 다스린 날 수가 사십 년이라
  Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel forty years.

43. 솔로몬이 그 열조와 함께 자매 그 부친 다윗의 성에 장사되고 그 아들 르호보암이 대신하여 왕이 되니라
  Then he rested with his fathers and was buried in the city of David his father. And Rehoboam his son succeeded him as king.

빌립보서 2

1. 그러므로 그리스도 안에 무슨 권면이나 사랑에 무슨 위로나 성령의 무슨 교제나 긍휼이나 자비가 있거든
  If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion,

2. 마음을 같이하여 같은 사랑을 가지고 뜻을 합하며 한 마음을 품어
  then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.

3. 아무 일에든지 다툼이나 허영으로 하지 말고 오직 겸손한 마음으로 각각 자기보다 남을 낫게 여기고
  Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.

4. 각각 자기 일을 돌아볼 뿐더러 또한 각각 다른 사람들의 일을 돌아보아 나의 기쁨을 충만케 하라
  Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.

5. 너희 안에 이 마음을 품으라 곧 그리스도 예수의 마음이니
  Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:

6. 그는 근본 하나님의 본체시나 하나님과 동등됨을 취할 것으로 여기지 아니하시고
  Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,

7. 오히려 자기를 비어 종의 형체를 가져 사람들과 같이 되었고
  but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.

8. 사람의 모양으로 나타나셨으매 자기를 낮추시고 죽기까지 복종하셨으니 곧 십자가에 죽으심이라
  And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death--even death on a cross!

9. 이러므로 하나님이 그를 지극히 높여 모든 이름 위에 뛰어난 이름을 주사
  Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,

10. 하늘에 있는 자들과 땅에 있는 자들과 땅 아래 있는 자들로 모든 무릎을 예수의 이름에 꿇게 하시고
  that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

11. 모든 입으로 예수 그리스도를 주라 시인하여 하나님 아버지께 영광을 돌리게 하셨느니라
  and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

12. 그러므로 나의 사랑하는 자들아 너희가 나 있을 때뿐 아니라 더욱 지금 나 없을 때에도 항상 복종하여 두렵고 떨림으로 너희 구원을 이루라
  Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed--not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence--continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,

13. 너희 안에서 행하시는 이는 하나님이시니 자기의 기쁘신 뜻을 위하여 너희로 소원을 두고 행하게 하시나니
  for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.

14. 모든 일을 원망과 시비가 없이 하라
  Do everything without complaining or arguing,

15. 이는 너희가 흠이 없고 순전하여 어그러지고 거스리는 세대 가운데서 하나님의 흠 없는 자녀로 세상에서 그들 가운데 빛들로 나타내며
  so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe

16. 생명의 말씀을 밝혀 나의 달음질도 헛되지 아니하고 수고도 헛되지 아니함으로 그리스도의 날에 나로 자랑할 것이 있게 하려 함이라
  as you hold out the word of life--in order that I may boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor for nothing.

17. 만일 너희 믿음의 제물과 봉사 위에 내가 나를 관제로 드릴찌라도 나는 기뻐하고 너희 무리와 함께 기뻐하리니
  But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you.

18. 이와 같이 너희도 기뻐하고 나와 함께 기뻐하라
  So you too should be glad and rejoice with me.

19. 내가 디모데를 속히 너희에게 보내기를 주 안에서 바람은 너희 사정을 앎으로 안위를 받으려 함이니
  I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, that I also may be cheered when I receive news about you.

20. 이는 뜻을 같이하여 너희 사정을 진실히 생각할 자가 이밖에 내게 없음이라
  I have no one else like him, who takes a genuine interest in your welfare.

21. 저희가 다 자기 일을 구하고 그리스도 예수의 일을 구하지 아니하되
  For everyone looks out for his own interests, not those of Jesus Christ.

22. 디모데의 연단을 너희가 아나니 자식이 아비에게 함같이 나와 함께 복음을 위하여 수고하였느니라
  But you know that Timothy has proved himself, because as a son with his father he has served with me in the work of the gospel.

23. 그러므로 내가 내 일이 어떻게 될 것을 보아서 곧 이 사람을 보내기를 바라고
  I hope, therefore, to send him as soon as I see how things go with me.

24. 나도 속히 가기를 주 안에서 확신하노라
  And I am confident in the Lord that I myself will come soon.

25. 그러나 에바브로디도를 너희에게 보내는 것이 필요한 줄로 생각하노니 그는 나의 형제요 함께 수고하고 함께 군사 된 자요 너희 사자로 나의 쓸 것을 돕는 자라
  But I think it is necessary to send back to you Epaphroditus, my brother, fellow worker and fellow soldier, who is also your messenger, whom you sent to take care of my needs.

26. 그가 너희 무리를 간절히 사모하고 자기 병든 것을 너희가 들은 줄을 알고 심히 근심한지라
  For he longs for all of you and is distressed because you heard he was ill.

27. 저가 병들어 죽게 되었으나 하나님이 저를 긍휼히 여기셨고 저뿐 아니라 또 나를 긍휼히 여기사 내 근심 위에 근심을 면하게 하셨느니라
  Indeed he was ill, and almost died. But God had mercy on him, and not on him only but also on me, to spare me sorrow upon sorrow.

28. 그러므로 내가 더욱 급히 저를 보낸 것은 너희로 저를 다시 보고 기뻐하게 하며 내 근심도 덜려 함이니
  Therefore I am all the more eager to send him, so that when you see him again you may be glad and I may have less anxiety.

29. 이러므로 너희가 주 안에서 모든 기쁨으로 저를 영접하고 또 이와 같은 자들을 존귀히 여기라
  Welcome him in the Lord with great joy, and honor men like him,

30. 저가 그리스도의 일을 위하여 죽기에 이르러도 자기 목숨을 돌아보지 아니한 것은 나를 섬기는 너희의 일에 부족함을 채우려 함이니라
  because he almost died for the work of Christ, risking his life to make up for the help you could not give me.

에스겔 41

1. 그가 나를 데리고 성소에 이르러 그 문 벽을 척량하니 이편 두께도 육 척이요 저편 두께도 육 척이라 두께가 이와 같으며
  Then the man brought me to the outer sanctuary and measured the jambs; the width of the jambs was six cubits on each side.

2. 그 문통의 광이 십 척이요 문통 이편 벽의 광이 오 척이요 저편 벽의 광이 오 척이며 그가 성소를 척량하니 그 장이 사십 척이요 그 광이 이십 척이며
  The entrance was ten cubits wide, and the projecting walls on each side of it were five cubits wide. He also measured the outer sanctuary; it was forty cubits long and twenty cubits wide.

3. 그가 안으로 들어가서 내전 문통의 벽을 척량하니 두께가 이 척이요 문통이 육 척이요 문통의 벽의 광이 각기 칠 척이며
  Then he went into the inner sanctuary and measured the jambs of the entrance; each was two cubits wide. The entrance was six cubits wide, and the projecting walls on each side of it were seven cubits wide.

4. 그가 내전을 척량하니 장이 이십 척이요 광이 이십 척이라 그가 내게 이르되 이는 지성소니라 하고
  And he measured the length of the inner sanctuary; it was twenty cubits, and its width was twenty cubits across the end of the outer sanctuary. He said to me, "This is the Most Holy Place."

5. 전의 벽을 척량하니 두께가 육 척이며 전 삼면에 골방이 있는데 광이 각기 사 척이며
  Then he measured the wall of the temple; it was six cubits thick, and each side room around the temple was four cubits wide.

6. 골방은 삼 층인데 골방 위에 골방이 있어 모두 삼십이라 그 삼면 골방이 전 벽 밖으로 그 벽에 의지하였고 전 벽 속은 범하지 아니하였으며
  The side rooms were on three levels, one above another, thirty on each level. There were ledges all around the wall of the temple to serve as supports for the side rooms, so that the supports were not inserted into the wall of the temple.

7. 이 두루 있는 골방이 그 층이 높아 갈수록 넓으므로 전에 둘린 이 골방이 높아 갈수록 전에 가까와졌으나 전의 넓이는 아래 위가 같으며 골방은 아랫층에서 중층으로 윗층에 올라가게 되었더라
  The side rooms all around the temple were wider at each successive level. The structure surrounding the temple was built in ascending stages, so that the rooms widened as one went upward. A stairway went up from the lowest floor to the top floor through the middle floor.

8. 내가 보니 전 삼면의 지대 곧 모든 골방 밑 지대의 고가 한 장대 곧 큰 자로 육 척인데
  I saw that the temple had a raised base all around it, forming the foundation of the side rooms. It was the length of the rod, six long cubits.

9. 전을 의지한 그 골방 바깥벽 두께는 오 척이요 그 외에 빈 터가 남았으며
  The outer wall of the side rooms was five cubits thick. The open area between the side rooms of the temple

10. 전 골방 삼면에 광이 이십 척 되는 뜰이 둘려 있으며
  and the priests'rooms was twenty cubits wide all around the temple.

11. 그 골방 문은 다 빈 터로 향하였는데 한 문은 북으로 향하였고 한 문은 남으로 향하였으며 그 둘려 있는 빈 터의 광은 오 척이더라
  There were entrances to the side rooms from the open area, one on the north and another on the south; and the base adjoining the open area was five cubits wide all around.

12. 서편 뜰 뒤에 건물이 있는데 광이 칠십 척이요 장이 구십 척이며 그 사면 벽의 두께가 오 척이더라
  The building facing the temple courtyard on the west side was seventy cubits wide. The wall of the building was five cubits thick all around, and its length was ninety cubits.

13. 그가 전을 척량하니 장이 일백 척이요 또 서편 뜰과 그 건물과 그 벽을 합하여 장이 일백 척이요
  Then he measured the temple; it was a hundred cubits long, and the temple courtyard and the building with its walls were also a hundred cubits long.

14. 전 전면의 광이 일백 척이요 그 앞 동향한 뜰의 광도 그러하며
  The width of the temple courtyard on the east, including the front of the temple, was a hundred cubits.

15. 그가 뒷뜰 뒤에 있는 건물을 척량하니 그 좌우편 다락까지 일백 척이더라 내전과 외전과 그 뜰의 현관과
  Then he measured the length of the building facing the courtyard at the rear of the temple, including its galleries on each side; it was a hundred cubits. The outer sanctuary, the inner sanctuary and the portico facing the court,

16. 문통 벽과 닫힌 창과 삼면에 둘려 있는 다락은 문통 안편에서부터 땅에서 창까지 널판으로 가리웠고 (창은 이미 닫히었더라)
  as well as the thresholds and the narrow windows and galleries around the three of them--everything beyond and including the threshold was covered with wood. The floor, the wall up to the windows, and the windows were covered.

17. 문통 위와 내전과 외전의 사면 벽도 다 그러하니 곧 척량한 대소대로며
  In the space above the outside of the entrance to the inner sanctuary and on the walls at regular intervals all around the inner and outer sanctuary

18. 널판에는 그룹들과 종려나무를 새겼는데 두 그룹 사이에 종려나무 하나가 있으며 매그룹에 두 얼굴이 있으니
  were carved cherubim and palm trees. Palm trees alternated with cherubim. Each cherub had two faces:

19. 하나는 사람의 얼굴이라 이편 종려나무를 향하였고 하나는 어린 사자의 얼굴이라 저편 종려나무를 향하였으며 온 전 사면이 다 그러하여
  the face of a man toward the palm tree on one side and the face of a lion toward the palm tree on the other. They were carved all around the whole temple.

20. 땅에서부터 문통 위에까지 그룹들과 종려나무들을 새겼으니 성전 벽이 다 그러하더라
  From the floor to the area above the entrance, cherubim and palm trees were carved on the wall of the outer sanctuary.

21. 외전 문설주는 네모졌고 내전 전면에 있는 식양은 이러하니
  The outer sanctuary had a rectangular doorframe, and the one at the front of the Most Holy Place was similar.

22. 곧 나무 제단의 고가 삼 척이요 장이 이 척이며 그 모퉁이와 옆과 면을 다 나무로 만들었더라 그가 내게 이르되 이는 여호와의 앞의 상이라 하더라
  There was a wooden altar three cubits high and two cubits square; its corners, its base and its sides were of wood. The man said to me, "This is the table that is before the LORD."

23. 내전과 외전에 각기 문이 있는데
  Both the outer sanctuary and the Most Holy Place had double doors.

24. 문마다 각기 두 문짝 곧 접치는 두 문짝이 있어 이 문에 두 짝이요 저 문에 두 짝이며
  Each door had two leaves--two hinged leaves for each door.

25. 이 성전 문에 그룹과 종려나무를 새겼는데 벽에 있는 것과 같고 현관 앞에는 나무 디딤판이 있으며
  And on the doors of the outer sanctuary were carved cherubim and palm trees like those carved on the walls, and there was a wooden overhang on the front of the portico.

26. 현관 좌우편에는 닫힌 창도 있고 종려나무도 새겼고 전의 골방과 디딤판도 그러하더라
  On the sidewalls of the portico were narrow windows with palm trees carved on each side. The side rooms of the temple also had overhangs.

시편 92-93

1. 지존자여 십현금과 비파와 수금의 정숙한 소리로 여호와께 감사하며 주의 이름을 찬양하며 아침에 주의 인자하심을 나타내며 밤마다 주의 성실하심을 베풂이 좋으니이다
  A psalm. A song. For the Sabbath day. It is good to praise the LORD and make music to your name, O Most High,

2. 1절과 같음
  to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night,

3. 1절과 같음
  to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp.

4. 여호와여 주의 행사로 나를 기쁘게 하셨으니 주의 손의 행사를 인하여 내가 높이 부르리이다
  For you make me glad by your deeds, O LORD; I sing for joy at the works of your hands.

5. 여호와여 주의 행사가 어찌 그리 크신지요 주의 생각이 심히 깊으시니이다
  How great are your works, O LORD, how profound your thoughts!

6. 우준한 자는 알지 못하며 무지한 자도 이를 깨닫지 못하나이다
  The senseless man does not know, fools do not understand,

7. 악인은 풀 같이 생장하고 죄악을 행하는 자는 다 흥왕할찌라도 영원히 멸망하리이다
  that though the wicked spring up like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be forever destroyed.

8. 여호와여 주는 영원토록 지존하시니이다
  But you, O LORD, are exalted forever.

9. 여호와여 주의 원수 곧 주의 원수가 패망하리니 죄악을 행하는 자는 다 흩어지리이다
  For surely your enemies, O LORD, surely your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered.

10. 그러나 주께서 내 뿔을 들소의 뿔같이 높이셨으며 내게 신선한 기름으로 부으셨나이다
  You have exalted my horn like that of a wild ox; fine oils have been poured upon me.

11. 내 원수의 보응받는 것을 내 눈으로 보며 일어나 나를 치는 행악자에게 보응하심을 내 귀로 들었도다
  My eyes have seen the defeat of my adversaries; my ears have heard the rout of my wicked foes.

12. 의인은 종려나무같이 번성하며 레바논의 백향목같이 발육하리로다
  The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;

13. 여호와의 집에 심겼음이여 우리 하나님의 궁정에서 흥왕하리로다
  planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God.

14. 늙어도 결실하며 진액이 풍족하고 빛이 청청하여
  They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green,

15. 여호와의 정직하심을 나타내리로다 여호와는 나의 바위시라 그에게는 불의가 없도다
  proclaiming, "The LORD is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him."

1. 여호와께서 통치하시니 스스로 권위를 입으셨도다 여호와께서 능력을 입으시며 띠셨으므로 세계도 견고히 서서 요동치 아니하도다
  The LORD reigns, he is robed in majesty; the LORD is robed in majesty and is armed with strength. The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved.

2. 주의 보좌는 예로부터 견고히 섰으며 주는 영원부터 계셨나이다
  Your throne was established long ago; you are from all eternity.

3. 여호와여 큰 물이 소리를 높였고 큰 물이 그 소리를 높였고 큰 물이 그 물결을 높이나이다
  The seas have lifted up, O LORD, the seas have lifted up their voice; the seas have lifted up their pounding waves.

4. 높이 계신 여호와의 능력은 많은 물 소리와 바다의 큰 파도보다 위대하시니이다
  Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea--the LORD on high is mighty.

5. 여호와여 주의 증거하심이 확실하고 거룩함이 주의 집에 합당하여 영구하리이다
  Your statutes stand firm; holiness adorns your house for endless days, O LORD.
