열왕기상 10

1. 스바 여왕이 여호와의 이름으로 말미암은 솔로몬의 명예를 듣고 와서 어려운 문제로 저를 시험코자 하여
  When the queen of Sheba heard about the fame of Solomon and his relation to the name of the LORD, she came to test him with hard questions.

2. 예루살렘에 이르니 수원이 심히 많고 향품과 심히 많은 금과 보석을 약대에 실었더라 저가 솔로몬에게 나아와 자기 마음에 있는 것을 다 말하매
  Arriving at Jerusalem with a very great caravan--with camels carrying spices, large quantities of gold, and precious stones--she came to Solomon and talked with him about all that she had on her mind.

3. 솔로몬이 그 묻는 말을 다 대답하였으니 왕이 은미하여 대답지 못한 것이 없었더라
  Solomon answered all her questions; nothing was too hard for the king to explain to her.

4. 스바 여왕이 솔로몬의 모든 지혜와 그 건축한 궁과
  When the queen of Sheba saw all the wisdom of Solomon and the palace he had built,

5. 그 상의 식물과 그 신복들의 좌석과 그 신하들의 시립한 것과 그들의 공복과 술 관원들과 여호와의 전에 올라가는 층계를 보고 정신이 현황하여
  the food on his table, the seating of his officials, the attending servants in their robes, his cupbearers, and the burnt offerings he made at the temple of the LORD, she was overwhelmed.

6. 왕께 고하되 내가 내 나라에서 당신의 행위와 당신의 지혜에 대하여 들은 소문이 진실하도다
  She said to the king, "The report I heard in my own country about your achievements and your wisdom is true.

7. 내가 그 말들을 믿지 아니하였더니 이제 와서 목도한즉 내게 말한 것은 절반도 못되니 당신의 지혜와 복이 나의 들은 소문에 지나도다
  But I did not believe these things until I came and saw with my own eyes. Indeed, not even half was told me; in wisdom and wealth you have far exceeded the report I heard.

8. 복되도다 당신의 사람들이여 복되도다 당신의 이 신복들이여 항상 당신의 앞에 서서 당신의 지혜를 들음이로다
  How happy your men must be! How happy your officials, who continually stand before you and hear your wisdom!

9. 당신의 하나님 여호와를 송축할찌로다 여호와께서 당신을 기뻐하사 이스라엘 위에 올리셨고 여호와께서 영영히 이스라엘을 사랑 하시므로 당신을 세워 왕을 삼아 공과 의를 행하게 하셨도다 하고
  Praise be to the LORD your God, who has delighted in you and placed you on the throne of Israel. Because of the LORD'S eternal love for Israel, he has made you king, to maintain justice and righteousness."

10. 이에 저가 금 일백이십 달란트와 심히 많은 향품과 보석을 왕께 드렸으니 스바 여왕이 솔로몬 왕께 드린 것처럼 많은 향품이 다시 오지 아니하였더라
  And she gave the king 120 talents of gold, large quantities of spices, and precious stones. Never again were so many spices brought in as those the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.

11. (오빌에서부터 금을 실어온 히람의 배들이 오빌에서 많은 백단목과 보석을 운반하여 오매
  (Hiram's ships brought gold from Ophir; and from there they brought great cargoes of almugwood and precious stones.

12. 왕이 백단목으로 여호와의 전과 왕궁의 난간을 만들고 또 노래하는 자를 위하여 수금과 비파를 만들었으니 이 같은 백단목은 전에도 온 일이 없었고 오늘까지도 보지 못하였더라)
  The king used the almugwood to make supports for the temple of the LORD and for the royal palace, and to make harps and lyres for the musicians. So much almugwood has never been imported or seen since that day.)

13. 솔로몬 왕이 왕의 규례대로 스바 여왕에게 물건을 준 외에 또 저의 소원대로 무릇 구하는 것을 주니 이에 저가 그 신복들로 더불어 본국으로 돌아갔더라
  King Solomon gave the queen of Sheba all she desired and asked for, besides what he had given her out of his royal bounty. Then she left and returned with her retinue to her own country.

14. 솔로몬의 세입금의 중수가 육백 륙십 륙 금 달란트요
  The weight of the gold that Solomon received yearly was 666 talents,

15. 그 외에 또 상고와 무역하는 객상과 아라비아 왕들과 나라의 방백들에게서도 가져온지라
  not including the revenues from merchants and traders and from all the Arabian kings and the governors of the land.

16. 솔로몬 왕이 쳐서 늘인 금으로 큰 방패 이백을 만들었으니 매방패에 든 금이 육백 세겔이며
  King Solomon made two hundred large shields of hammered gold; six hundred bekas of gold went into each shield.

17. 또 쳐서 늘인 금으로 작은 방패 삼백을 만들었으니 매방패에 든 금이 삼 마네라 왕이 이것들을 레바논 나무 궁에 두었더라
  He also made three hundred small shields of hammered gold, with three minas of gold in each shield. The king put them in the Palace of the Forest of Lebanon.

18. 왕이 또 상아로 큰 보좌를 만들고 정금으로 입혔으니
  Then the king made a great throne inlaid with ivory and overlaid with fine gold.

19. 그 보좌에는 여섯 층계가 있고 보좌 뒤에 둥근 머리가 있고 앉는 자리 양편에는 팔걸이가 있고 팔걸이 곁에는 사자가 하나씩 섰으며
  The throne had six steps, and its back had a rounded top. On both sides of the seat were armrests, with a lion standing beside each of them.

20. 또 열두 사자가 있어 그 여섯 층계 좌우편에 섰으니 아무 나라에도 이같이 만든 것이 없었더라
  Twelve lions stood on the six steps, one at either end of each step. Nothing like it had ever been made for any other kingdom.

21. 솔로몬 왕의 마시는 그릇은 다 금이요 레바논 나무 궁의 그릇들도 다 정금이라 은 기물이 없으니 솔로몬의 시대에 은을 귀히 여기지 아니함은
  All King Solomon's goblets were gold, and all the household articles in the Palace of the Forest of Lebanon were pure gold. Nothing was made of silver, because silver was considered of little value in Solomon's days.

22. 왕이 바다에 다시스 배들을 두어 히람의 배와 함께 있게 하고 그 다시스 배로 삼 년에 일차씩 금과 은과 상아와 잔나비와 공작을 실어 왔음이더라
  The king had a fleet of trading ships at sea along with the ships of Hiram. Once every three years it returned, carrying gold, silver and ivory, and apes and baboons.

23. 솔로몬 왕의 재산과 지혜가 천하 열왕보다 큰지라
  King Solomon was greater in riches and wisdom than all the other kings of the earth.

24. 천하가 다 하나님께서 솔로몬의 마음에 주신 지혜를 들으며 그 얼굴을 보기 원하여
  The whole world sought audience with Solomon to hear the wisdom God had put in his heart.

25. 각기 예물을 가지고 왔으니 곧 은그릇과 금그릇과 의복과 갑옷과 향품과 말과 노새라 해마다 정한 수가 있었더라
  Year after year, everyone who came brought a gift--articles of silver and gold, robes, weapons and spices, and horses and mules.

26. 솔로몬이 병거와 마병을 모으매 병거가 일천사백이요 마병이 일만 이천이라 병거성에도 두고 예루살렘 왕에게도 두었으며
  Solomon accumulated chariots and horses; he had fourteen hundred chariots and twelve thousand horses, which he kept in the chariot cities and also with him in Jerusalem.

27. 왕이 예루살렘에서 은을 돌같이 흔하게 하고 백향목을 평지의 뽕나무같이 많게 하였더라
  The king made silver as common in Jerusalem as stones, and cedar as plentiful as sycamore-fig trees in the foothills.

28. 솔로몬의 말들은 애굽에서 내어 왔으니 왕의 상고들이 떼로 정가하여 산 것이며
  Solomon's horses were imported from Egypt and from Kue--the royal merchants purchased them from Kue.

29. 애굽에서 내어 올린 병거는 하나에 은 육백 세겔이요 말은 일백오십 세겔이라 이와 같이 헷 사람의 모든 왕과 아람 왕들을 위하여도 그 손으로 내어 왔더라
  They imported a chariot from Egypt for six hundred shekels of silver, and a horse for a hundred and fifty. They also exported them to all the kings of the Hittites and of the Arameans.

빌립보서 1

1. 그리스도 예수의 종 바울과 디모데는 그리스도 예수 안에서 빌립보에 사는 모든 성도와 또는 감독들과 집사들에게 편지하노니
  Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, To all the saints in Christ Jesus at Philippi, together with the overseers and deacons:

2. 하나님 우리 아버지와 주 예수 그리스도에게로서 은혜와 평강이 너희에게 있을찌어다
  Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3. 내가 너희를 생각할 때마다 나의 하나님께 감사하며
  I thank my God every time I remember you.

4. 간구할 때마다 너희 무리를 위하여 기쁨으로 항상 간구함은
  In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy

5. 첫날부터 이제까지 복음에서 너희가 교제함을 인함이라
  because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now,

6. 너희 속에 착한 일을 시작하신 이가 그리스도 예수의 날까지 이루실 줄을 우리가 확신하노라
  being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

7. 내가 너희 무리를 위하여 이와 같이 생각하는 것이 마땅하니 이는 너희가 내 마음에 있음이며 나의 매임과 복음을 변명함과 확정함에 너희가 다 나와 함께 은혜에 참예한 자가 됨이라
  It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart; for whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God's grace with me.

8. 내가 예수 그리스도의 심장으로 너희 무리를 어떻게 사모하는지 하나님이 내 증인이시니라
  God can testify how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus.

9. 내가 기도하노라 너희 사랑을 지식과 모든 총명으로 점점 더 풍성하게 하사
  And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight,

10. 너희로 지극히 선한 것을 분별하며 또 진실하여 허물 없이 그리스도의 날까지 이르고
  so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ,

11. 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 의의 열매가 가득하여 하나님의 영광과 찬송이 되게 하시기를 구하노라
  filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ--to the glory and praise of God.

12. 형제들아 나의 당한 일이 도리어 복음의 진보가 된 줄을 너희가 알기를 원하노라
  Now I want you to know, brothers, that what has happened to me has really served to advance the gospel.

13. 이러므로 나의 매임이 그리스도 안에서 온 시위대 안과 기타 모든 사람에게 나타났으니
  As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ.

14. 형제 중 다수가 나의 매임을 인하여 주 안에서 신뢰하므로 겁 없이 하나님의 말씀을 더욱 담대히 말하게 되었느니라
  Because of my chains, most of the brothers in the Lord have been encouraged to speak the word of God more courageously and fearlessly.

15. 어떤 이들은 투기와 분쟁으로, 어떤 이들은 착한 뜻으로 그리스도를 전파하나니
  It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill.

16. 이들은 내가 복음을 변명하기 위하여 세우심을 받은 줄 알고 사랑으로 하나
  The latter do so in love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel.

17. 저들은 나의 매임에 괴로움을 더하게 할 줄로 생각하여 순전치 못하게 다툼으로 그리스도를 전파하느니라
  The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains.

18. 그러면 무엇이뇨 외모로 하나 참으로 하나 무슨 방도로 하든지 전파되는 것은 그리스도니 이로써 내가 기뻐하고 또한 기뻐하리라
  But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice,

19. 이것이 너희 간구와 예수 그리스도의 성령의 도우심으로 내 구원에 이르게 할 줄 아는 고로
  for I know that through your prayers and the help given by the Spirit of Jesus Christ, what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance.

20. 나의 간절한 기대와 소망을 따라 아무 일에든지 부끄럽지 아니하고 오직 전과 같이 이제도 온전히 담대하여 살든지 죽든지 내 몸에서 그리스도가 존귀히 되게 하려 하나니
  I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.

21. 이는 내게 사는 것이 그리스도니 죽는 것도 유익함이니라
  For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

22. 그러나 만일 육신으로 사는 이것이 내 일의 열매일찐대 무엇을 가릴는지 나는 알지 못하노라
  If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know!

23. 내가 그 두 사이에 끼였으니 떠나서 그리스도와 함께 있을 욕망을 가진 이것이 더욱 좋으나
  I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far;

24. 그러나 내가 육신에 거하는 것이 너희를 위하여 더 유익하리라
  but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body.

25. 내가 살 것과 너희 믿음의 진보와 기쁨을 위하여 너희 무리와 함께 거할 이것을 확실히 아노니
  Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith,

26. 내가 다시 너희와 같이 있음으로 그리스도 예수 안에서 너희 자랑이 나를 인하여 풍성하게 하려 함이라
  so that through my being with you again your joy in Christ Jesus will overflow on account of me.

27. 오직 너희는 그리스도 복음에 합당하게 생활하라 이는 내가 너희를 가보나 떠나 있으나 너희가 일심으로 서서 한 뜻으로 복음의 신앙을 위하여 협력하는 것과
  Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel

28. 아무 일에든지 대적하는 자를 인하여 두려워하지 아니하는 이 일을 듣고자 함이라 이것이 저희에게는 멸망의 빙거요 너희에게는 구원의 빙거니 이는 하나님께로부터 난 것이니라
  without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved--and that by God.

29. 그리스도를 위하여 너희에게 은혜를 주신 것은 다만 그를 믿을 뿐 아니라 또한 그를 위하여 고난도 받게 하심이라
  For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for him,

30. 너희에게도 같은 싸움이 있으니 너희가 내 안에서 본 바요 이제도 내 안에서 듣는 바니라
  since you are going through the same struggle you saw I had, and now hear that I still have.

에스겔 40

1. 우리가 사로잡힌 지 이십오 년이요 성이 함락된 후 십사년 정월 십일 곧 그 날에 여호와의 권능이 내게 임하여 나를 데리고 이스라엘 땅으로 가시되
  In the twenty-fifth year of our exile, at the beginning of the year, on the tenth of the month, in the fourteenth year after the fall of the city--on that very day the hand of the LORD was upon me and he took me there.

2. 하나님의 이상 중에 나를 데리고 그 땅에 이르러 나를 극히 높은 산 위에 내려놓으시는데 거기서 남으로 향하여 성읍 형상 같은 것이 있더라
  In visions of God he took me to the land of Israel and set me on a very high mountain, on whose south side were some buildings that looked like a city.

3. 나를 데리시고 거기 이르시니 모양이 놋같이 빛난 사람 하나가 손에 삼줄과 척량하는 장대를 가지고 문에 서서 있더니
  He took me there, and I saw a man whose appearance was like bronze; he was standing in the gateway with a linen cord and a measuring rod in his hand.

4. 그 사람이 내게 이르되 인자야 내가 네게 보이는 그것을 눈으로 보고 귀로 들으며 네 마음으로 생각할찌어다 내가 이것을 네게 보이려고 이리로 데리고 왔나니 너는 본 것을 다 이스라엘 족속에게 고할찌어다 하더라
  The man said to me, "Son of man, look with your eyes and hear with your ears and pay attention to everything I am going to show you, for that is why you have been brought here. Tell the house of Israel everything you see."

5. 내가 본즉 집 바깥 사면으로 담이 있더라 그 사람의 손에 척량하는 장대를 잡았는데 그 장이 팔꿈치에서 손가락에 이르고 한 손바닥 넓이가 더한 자로 육척이라 그 담을 척량하니 두께가 한 장대요 고도 한 장대며
  I saw a wall completely surrounding the temple area. The length of the measuring rod in the man's hand was six long cubits, each of which was a cubit and a handbreadth. He measured the wall; it was one measuring rod thick and one rod high.

6. 그가 동향한 문에 이르러 층계에 올라 그 문통을 척량하니 장이 한 장대요 그 문 안통의 장도 한 장대며
  Then he went to the gate facing east. He climbed its steps and measured the threshold of the gate; it was one rod deep.

7. 그 문간에 문지기 방들이 있는데 각기 장이 한 장대요 광이 한 장대요 매방 사이 벽이 오 척이며 안 문통의 장이 한 장대요 그 앞에 현관이 있고 그 앞에 안 문이 있으며
  The alcoves for the guards were one rod long and one rod wide, and the projecting walls between the alcoves were five cubits thick. And the threshold of the gate next to the portico facing the temple was one rod deep.

8. 그가 또 안 문의 현관을 척량하니 한 장대며
  Then he measured the portico of the gateway;

9. 안 문의 현관을 또 척량하니 팔 척이요 그 문 벽은 이 척이라 그 문의 현관이 안으로 향하였으며
  it was eight cubits deep and its jambs were two cubits thick. The portico of the gateway faced the temple.

10. 그 동문간의 문지기 방은 좌편에 셋이 있고 우편에 셋이 있으니 그 셋이 각각 한 척수요 그 좌우편 벽도 다 한 척수며
  Inside the east gate were three alcoves on each side; the three had the same measurements, and the faces of the projecting walls on each side had the same measurements.

11. 또 그 문통을 척량하니 광이 십 척이요 장이 십삼 척이며
  Then he measured the width of the entrance to the gateway; it was ten cubits and its length was thirteen cubits.

12. 방 앞에 퇴가 있는데 이편 퇴도 일 척이요 저편 퇴도 일 척이며 그 방은 이편도 육 척이요 저편도 육 척이며
  In front of each alcove was a wall one cubit high, and the alcoves were six cubits square.

13. 그가 그 문간을 척량하니 이 방 지붕가에서 저 방 지붕가까지 광이 이십오 척인데 방 문은 서로 반대되었으며
  Then he measured the gateway from the top of the rear wall of one alcove to the top of the opposite one; the distance was twenty-five cubits from one parapet opening to the opposite one.

14. 그가 또 현관을 척량하니 광이 이십 척이요 현관 사면에 뜰이 있으며
  He measured along the faces of the projecting walls all around the inside of the gateway--sixty cubits. The measurement was up to the portico facing the courtyard.

15. 바깥 문통에서부터 안 문 현관 앞까지 오십 척이며
  The distance from the entrance of the gateway to the far end of its portico was fifty cubits.

16. 문지기 방에는 각각 닫힌 창이 있고 문 안 좌우편에 있는 벽 사이에도 창이 있고 그 현관도 그러하고 그 창은 안 좌우편으로 벌여 있으며 각 문 벽 위에는 종려나무를 새겼더라
  The alcoves and the projecting walls inside the gateway were surmounted by narrow parapet openings all around, as was the portico; the openings all around faced inward. The faces of the projecting walls were decorated with palm trees.

17. 그가 나를 데리고 바깥뜰에 들어가니 뜰 삼면에 박석 깔린 땅이 있고 그 박석 깔린 땅 위에 여러 방이 있는데 모두 삼십이며
  Then he brought me into the outer court. There I saw some rooms and a pavement that had been constructed all around the court; there were thirty rooms along the pavement.

18. 그 박석 깔린 땅의 위치는 각 문간의 좌우편인데 그 광이 문간 길이와 같으니 이는 아래 박석 땅이며
  It abutted the sides of the gateways and was as wide as they were long; this was the lower pavement.

19. 그가 아래 문간 앞에서부터 안뜰 바깥 문간 앞까지 척량하니 그 광이 일백 척이며 동편과 북편이 일반이더라
  Then he measured the distance from the inside of the lower gateway to the outside of the inner court; it was a hundred cubits on the east side as well as on the north.

20. 그가 바깥뜰 북향한 문간의 장광을 척량하니
  Then he measured the length and width of the gate facing north, leading into the outer court.

21. 장이 오십 척이요 광이 이십오 척이며 문지기 방이 이편에도 셋이요 저편에도 셋이요 그 벽과 그 현관도 먼저 척량한 문간과 같으며
  Its alcoves--three on each side--its projecting walls and its portico had the same measurements as those of the first gateway. It was fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.

22. 그 창과 현관의 장, 광과 종려나무가 다 동향한 문간과 같으며 그 문간으로 올라가는 일곱 층계가 있고 그 안에 현관이 있으며
  Its openings, its portico and its palm tree decorations had the same measurements as those of the gate facing east. Seven steps led up to it, with its portico opposite them.

23. 안뜰에도 북편 문간과 동편 문간과 마주 대한 문간들이 있는데 그가 이 문간에서 맞은편 문간까지 척량하니 일백 척이더라
  There was a gate to the inner court facing the north gate, just as there was on the east. He measured from one gate to the opposite one; it was a hundred cubits.

24. 그가 또 나를 이끌고 남으로 간즉 남향한 문간이 있는데 그 벽과 현관을 척량하니 먼저 척량한 것과 같고
  Then he led me to the south side and I saw a gate facing south. He measured its jambs and its portico, and they had the same measurements as the others.

25. 그 문간과 현관 좌우에 있는 창도 먼저 말한 창과 같더라 그 문간의 장이 오십 척이요 광이 이십오 척이며
  The gateway and its portico had narrow openings all around, like the openings of the others. It was fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.

26. 또 그리로 올라가는 일곱 층계가 있고 그 안에 현관이 있으며 또 이편, 저편 문 벽 위에 종려나무를 새겼으며
  Seven steps led up to it, with its portico opposite them; it had palm tree decorations on the faces of the projecting walls on each side.

27. 안뜰에도 남향한 문간이 있는데 그가 남향한 그 문간에서 맞은편 문간까지 척량하니 일백 척이더라
  The inner court also had a gate facing south, and he measured from this gate to the outer gate on the south side; it was a hundred cubits.

28. 그가 나를 데리고 그 남문으로 말미암아 안뜰에 들어가서 그 남문간을 척량하니 척수는
  Then he brought me into the inner court through the south gate, and he measured the south gate; it had the same measurements as the others.

29. 장이 오십 척이요 광이 이십오 척이며 그 문지기 방과 벽과 현관도 먼저 척량한 것과 같고 그 문간과 그 현관 좌우에도 창이 있으며
  Its alcoves, its projecting walls and its portico had the same measurements as the others. The gateway and its portico had openings all around. It was fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.

30. 그 사면 현관의 장은 이십오 척이요 광은 오 척이며
  (The porticoes of the gateways around the inner court were twenty-five cubits wide and five cubits deep.)

31. 현관이 바깥뜰로 향하였고 그 문 벽 위에도 종려나무를 새겼으며 그 문간으로 올라가는 여덟 층계가 있더라
  Its portico faced the outer court; palm trees decorated its jambs, and eight steps led up to it.

32. 그가 나를 데리고 안뜰 동편으로 가서 그 문간을 척량하니 척수는
  Then he brought me to the inner court on the east side, and he measured the gateway; it had the same measurements as the others.

33. 장이 오십 척이요 광이 이십오 척이며 그 문지기 방과 벽과 현관이 먼저 척량한 것과 같고 그 문간과 그 현관 좌우에도 창이 있으며
  Its alcoves, its projecting walls and its portico had the same measurements as the others. The gateway and its portico had openings all around. It was fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.

34. 그 현관이 바깥뜰로 향하였고 그 이편, 저편 문 벽 위에도 종려나무를 새겼으며 그 문간으로 올라가는 여덟 층계가 있더라
  Its portico faced the outer court; palm trees decorated the jambs on either side, and eight steps led up to it.

35. 그가 또 나를 데리고 북문에 이르러 척량하니 척수는
  Then he brought me to the north gate and measured it. It had the same measurements as the others,

36. 장이 오십 척이요 광이 이십오 척이며 그 문지기 방과 벽과 현관이 다 그러하여 그 좌우에도 창이 있으며
  as did its alcoves, its projecting walls and its portico, and it had openings all around. It was fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.

37. 그 현관이 바깥뜰로 향하였고 그 이편, 저편 문 벽 위에도 종려나무를 새겼으며 그 문간으로 올라가는 여덟 층계가 있더라
  Its portico faced the outer court; palm trees decorated the jambs on either side, and eight steps led up to it.

38. 그 문 벽 곁에 문이 있는 방이 있는데 그것은 번제물을 씻는 방이며
  A room with a doorway was by the portico in each of the inner gateways, where the burnt offerings were washed.

39. 그 문의 현관 이편에 상 둘이 있고 저편에 상 둘이 있으니 그 위에서 번제와 속죄제와 속건제의 희생을 잡게 한 것이며
  In the portico of the gateway were two tables on each side, on which the burnt offerings, sin offerings and guilt offerings were slaughtered.

40. 그 북문 바깥 곧 입구로 올라가는 곳 이편에 상 둘이 있고 문의 현관 저편에 상 둘이 있으니
  By the outside wall of the portico of the gateway, near the steps at the entrance to the north gateway were two tables, and on the other side of the steps were two tables.

41. 문 곁 이편에 상이 넷이 있고 저편에 상이 넷이 있어 합이 여덟 상이라 그 위에서 희생을 잡는 소용이며
  So there were four tables on one side of the gateway and four on the other--eight tables in all--on which the sacrifices were slaughtered.

42. 또 다듬은 돌로 만들어서 번제에 쓰는 상 넷이 있는데 각 장이 일 척 반이요 광이 일 척 반이요 고가 일 척이라 번제의 희생을 잡을 때에 쓰는 기구가 그 위에 놓였으며
  There were also four tables of dressed stone for the burnt offerings, each a cubit and a half long, a cubit and a half wide and a cubit high. On them were placed the utensils for slaughtering the burnt offerings and the other sacrifices.

43. 현관 안에는 길이가 손바닥 넓이만한 갈고리가 사면에 박혔으며 상들에는 희생의 고기가 있더라
  And double-pronged hooks, each a handbreadth long, were attached to the wall all around. The tables were for the flesh of the offerings.

44. 안 문안 안뜰에는 방 둘이 있는데 북문 곁에 있는 방은 남으로 향하였고 남문 곁에 있는 방은 북으로 향하였더라
  Outside the inner gate, within the inner court, were two rooms, one at the side of the north gate and facing south, and another at the side of the south gate and facing north.

45. 그가 내게 이르되 남향한 이 방은 성전을 수직하는 제사장들의 쓸 것이요
  He said to me, "The room facing south is for the priests who have charge of the temple,

46. 북향한 방은 제단을 수직하는 제사장들의 쓸 것이라 이들은 레위의 후손 중 사독의 자손으로서 여호와께 가까이 나아가 수종드는 자니라 하고
  and the room facing north is for the priests who have charge of the altar. These are the sons of Zadok, who are the only Levites who may draw near to the LORD to minister before him."

47. 그가 또 그 뜰을 척량하니 장이 일백 척이요 광이 일백 척이라 네모 반듯하며 제단은 전 앞에 있더라
  Then he measured the court: It was square--a hundred cubits long and a hundred cubits wide. And the altar was in front of the temple.

48. 그가 나를 데리고 전문 현관에 이르러 그 문의 좌우 벽을 척량하니 광이 이편도 오 척이요 저편도 오 척이며 두께가 문 이편도 삼 척이요 문 저편도 삼 척이며
  He brought me to the portico of the temple and measured the jambs of the portico; they were five cubits wide on either side. The width of the entrance was fourteen cubits and its projecting walls were three cubits wide on either side.

49. 그 현관의 광은 이십 척이요 장은 십일 척이며 문간으로 올라가는 층계가 있고 문 벽 곁에는 기둥이 있는데 하나는 이편에 있고 하나는 저편에 있더라
  The portico was twenty cubits wide, and twelve cubits from front to back. It was reached by a flight of stairs, and there were pillars on each side of the jambs.

시편 91

1. 지존자의 은밀한 곳에 거하는 자는 전능하신 자의 그늘 아래 거하리로다
  He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

2. 내가 여호와를 가리켜 말하기를 저는 나의 피난처요 나의 요새요 나의 의뢰하는 하나님이라 하리니
  I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."

3. 이는 저가 너를 새 사냥군의 올무에서와 극한 염병에서 건지실 것임이로다
  Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence.

4. 저가 너를 그 깃으로 덮으시리니 네가 그 날개 아래 피하리로다 그의 진실함은 방패와 손 방패가 되나니
  He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

5. 너는 밤에 놀램과 낮에 흐르는 살과
  You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,

6. 흑암 중에 행하는 염병과 백주에 황폐케 하는 파멸을 두려워 아니하리로다
  nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.

7. 천인이 네 곁에서, 만인이 네 우편에서 엎드러지나 이 재앙이 네게 가까이 못하리로다
  A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.

8. 오직 너는 목도하리니 악인의 보응이 네게 보이리로다
  You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.

9. 네가 말하기를 여호와는 나의 피난처시라 하고 지존자로 거처를 삼았으므로
  If you make the Most High your dwelling--even the LORD, who is my refuge--

10. 화가 네게 미치지 못하며 재앙이 네 장막에 가까이 오지 못하리니
  then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent.

11. 저가 너를 위하여 그 사자들을 명하사 네 모든 길에 너를 지키게 하심이라
  For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;

12. 저희가 그 손으로 너를 붙들어 발이 돌에 부딪히지 않게 하리로다
  they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

13. 네가 사자와 독사를 밟으며 젊은 사자와 뱀을 발로 누르리로다
  You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

14. 하나님이 가라사대 저가 나를 사랑한즉 내가 저를 건지리라 저가 내 이름을 안즉 내가 저를 높이리라
  "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.

15. 저가 내게 간구하리니 내가 응답하리라 저희 환난 때에 내가 저와 함께 하여 저를 건지고 영화롭게 하리라
  He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.

16. 내가 장수함으로 저를 만족케 하며 나의 구원으로 보이리라 하시도다
  With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation."
