열왕기상 16

1. 여호와의 말씀이 하나니의 아들 예후에게 임하여 바아사를 꾸짖어 가라사대
  Then the word of the LORD came to Jehu son of Hanani against Baasha:

2. 내가 너를 진토에서 들어 나의 백성 이스라엘 위에 주권자가 되게 하였거늘 네가 여로보암의 길로 행하며 내 백성 이스라엘로 범죄케 하여 저희 죄로 나의 노를 격동하였은즉
  "I lifted you up from the dust and made you leader of my people Israel, but you walked in the ways of Jeroboam and caused my people Israel to sin and to provoke me to anger by their sins.

3. 내가 너 바아사와 네 집을 쓸어 버려 네 집으로 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 집같이 되게 하리니
  So I am about to consume Baasha and his house, and I will make your house like that of Jeroboam son of Nebat.

4. 바아사에게 속한 자가 성읍에서 죽은즉 개가 먹고 들에서 죽은즉 공중의 새가 먹으리라 하셨더라
  Dogs will eat those belonging to Baasha who die in the city, and the birds of the air will feed on those who die in the country."

5. 바아사의 남은 사적과 무릇 행한 일과 권세는 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
  As for the other events of Baasha's reign, what he did and his achievements, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Israel?

6. 바아사가 그 열조와 함께 자매 디르사에 장사되고 그 아들 엘라가 대신하여 왕이 되니라
  Baasha rested with his fathers and was buried in Tirzah. And Elah his son succeeded him as king.

7. 여호와의 말씀이 하나니의 아들 선지자 예후에게 임하사 바아사와 그 집을 꾸짖으심은 저가 여로보암의 집을 본받아 여호와 보시기에 모든 악을 행하며 그 손의 소위로 여호와의 노를 격동하였음이며 또 그 집을 쳤음이더라
  Moreover, the word of the LORD came through the prophet Jehu son of Hanani to Baasha and his house, because of all the evil he had done in the eyes of the LORD, provoking him to anger by the things he did, and becoming like the house of Jeroboam--and also because he destroyed it.

8. 유다 왕 아사 제 이십 륙년에 바아사의 아들 엘라가 디르사에서 이스라엘 왕이 되어 이년을 위에 있으니라
  In the twenty-sixth year of Asa king of Judah, Elah son of Baasha became king of Israel, and he reigned in Tirzah two years.

9. 엘라가 디르사에 있어 궁내대신 아르사의 집에서 마시고 취할 때에 그 신복 곧 병거 절반을 통솔한 장관 시므리가 왕을 모반하여
  Zimri, one of his officials, who had command of half his chariots, plotted against him. Elah was in Tirzah at the time, getting drunk in the home of Arza, the man in charge of the palace at Tirzah.

10. 들어가서 저를 쳐죽이고 대신하여 왕이 되니 곧 유다 왕 아사 제 이십칠 년이라
  Zimri came in, struck him down and killed him in the twenty-seventh year of Asa king of Judah. Then he succeeded him as king.

11. 시므리가 왕이 되어 그 위에 오를 때에 바아사의 온 집을 죽이되 남자는 그 족속이든지 그 친구든지 하나도 남기지 아니하고
  As soon as he began to reign and was seated on the throne, he killed off Baasha's whole family. He did not spare a single male, whether relative or friend.

12. 바아사의 온 집을 멸하였는데 여호와께서 선지자 예후로 바아사를 꾸짖어 하신 말씀같이 되었으니
  So Zimri destroyed the whole family of Baasha, in accordance with the word of the LORD spoken against Baasha through the prophet Jehu--

13. 이는 바아사의 모든 죄와 그 아들 엘라의 죄를 인함이라 저희가 범죄하고 또 이스라엘로 범죄케 하여 그 헛된 것으로 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 노를 격발하였더라
  because of all the sins Baasha and his son Elah had committed and had caused Israel to commit, so that they provoked the LORD, the God of Israel, to anger by their worthless idols.

14. 엘라의 남은 사적과 무릇 행한 일이 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
  As for the other events of Elah's reign, and all he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Israel?

15. 유다 왕 아사 제 이십칠 년에 시므리가 디르사에서 칠 일 동안 왕이 되니라 때에 백성들이 블레셋 사람에게 속한 깁브돈을 향하여 진을 치고 있더니
  In the twenty-seventh year of Asa king of Judah, Zimri reigned in Tirzah seven days. The army was encamped near Gibbethon, a Philistine town.

16. 진중 백성들이 시므리가 모반하여 왕을 죽였다는 말을 들은지라 그 날에 이스라엘의 무리가 진에서 군대 장관 오므리로 이스라엘 왕을 삼으매
  When the Israelites in the camp heard that Zimri had plotted against the king and murdered him, they proclaimed Omri, the commander of the army, king over Israel that very day there in the camp.

17. 오므리가 이에 이스라엘 무리를 거느리고 깁브돈에서부터 올라와서 디르사를 에워쌌더라
  Then Omri and all the Israelites with him withdrew from Gibbethon and laid siege to Tirzah.

18. 시므리가 성이 함락됨을 보고 왕궁 위소에 들어가서 왕궁에 불을 놓고 그 가운데서 죽었으니
  When Zimri saw that the city was taken, he went into the citadel of the royal palace and set the palace on fire around him. So he died,

19. 이는 저가 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하여 범죄함을 인함이라 저가 여로보암의 길로 행하며 그가 이스라엘로 죄를 범하게 한 그 죄 중에 행하였더라
  because of the sins he had committed, doing evil in the eyes of the LORD and walking in the ways of Jeroboam and in the sin he had committed and had caused Israel to commit.

20. 시므리의 남은 행위와 그 모반한 일이 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
  As for the other events of Zimri's reign, and the rebellion he carried out, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Israel?

21. 그 때에 이스라엘 백성이 둘에 나뉘어 그 절반은 기낫의 아들 디브니를 좇아 저로 왕을 삼으려 하고 그 절반은 오므리를 좇았더니
  Then the people of Israel were split into two factions; half supported Tibni son of Ginath for king, and the other half supported Omri.

22. 오므리를 좇은 백성이 기낫의 아들 디브니를 좇은 백성을 이긴지라 디브니가 죽으매 오므리가 왕이 되니라
  But Omri's followers proved stronger than those of Tibni son of Ginath. So Tibni died and Omri became king.

23. 유다 왕 아사 제 삼십일 년에 오므리가 이스라엘 왕이 되어 십이 년을 위에 있으며 디르사에서 육 년 동안 치리하니라
  In the thirty-first year of Asa king of Judah, Omri became king of Israel, and he reigned twelve years, six of them in Tirzah.

24. 저가 은 두 달란트로 세멜에게서 사마리아 산을 사고 그 산 위에 성을 건축하고 그 건축한 성 이름을 그 산 주인이 되었던 세멜의 이름을 좇아 사마리아라 일컬었더라
  He bought the hill of Samaria from Shemer for two talents of silver and built a city on the hill, calling it Samaria, after Shemer, the name of the former owner of the hill.

25. 오므리가 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하되 그 전의 모든 사람보다 더욱 악하게 행하여
  But Omri did evil in the eyes of the LORD and sinned more than all those before him.

26. 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 모든 길로 행하며 그가 이스라엘로 죄를 범하게 한 그 죄 중에 행하여 그 헛된 것으로 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 노를 격발케 하였더라
  He walked in all the ways of Jeroboam son of Nebat and in his sin, which he had caused Israel to commit, so that they provoked the LORD, the God of Israel, to anger by their worthless idols.

27. 오므리의 행한 그 남은 사적과 그 베푼 권세가 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
  As for the other events of Omri's reign, what he did and the things he achieved, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Israel?

28. 오므리가 그 열조와 함께 자매 사마리아에 장사되고 그 아들 아합이 대신하여 왕이 되니라
  Omri rested with his fathers and was buried in Samaria. And Ahab his son succeeded him as king.

29. 유다 왕 아사 제 삼십팔 년에 오므리의 아들 아합이 이스라엘 왕이 되니라 오므리의 아들 아합이 사마리아에서 이십이 년을 이스라엘을 다스리니라
  In the thirty-eighth year of Asa king of Judah, Ahab son of Omri became king of Israel, and he reigned in Samaria over Israel twenty-two years.

30. 오므리의 아들 아합이 그 전의 모든 사람보다 여호와 보시기에 악을 더욱 행하여
  Ahab son of Omri did more evil in the eyes of the LORD than any of those before him.

31. 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 죄를 따라 행하는 것을 오히려 가볍게 여기며 시돈 사람의 왕 엣바알의 딸 이세벨로 아내를 삼고 가서 바알을 섬겨 숭배하고
  He not only considered it trivial to commit the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, but he also married Jezebel daughter of Ethbaal king of the Sidonians, and began to serve Baal and worship him.

32. 사마리아에 건축한 바알의 사당 속에 바알을 위하여 단을 쌓으며
  He set up an altar for Baal in the temple of Baal that he built in Samaria.

33. 또 아세라 목상을 만들었으니 저는 그 전의 모든 이스라엘 왕보다 심히 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 노를 격발하였더라
  Ahab also made an Asherah pole and did more to provoke the LORD, the God of Israel, to anger than did all the kings of Israel before him.

34. 그 시대에 벧엘 사람 히엘이 여리고를 건축하였는데 저가 그 터를 쌓을 때에 맏아들 아비람을 잃었고 그 문을 세울 때에 말째 아들 스굽을 잃었으니 여호와께서 눈의 아들 여호수아로 하신 말씀과 같이 되었더라
  In Ahab's time, Hiel of Bethel rebuilt Jericho. He laid its foundations at the cost of his firstborn son Abiram, and he set up its gates at the cost of his youngest son Segub, in accordance with the word of the LORD spoken by Joshua son of Nun.

골로새서 3

1. 그러므로 너희가 그리스도와 함께 다시 살리심을 받았으면 위엣 것을 찾으라 거기는 그리스도께서 하나님 우편에 앉아 계시느니라
  Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.

2. 위엣 것을 생각하고 땅엣 것을 생각지 말라
  Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

3. 이는 너희가 죽었고 너희 생명이 그리스도와 함께 하나님 안에 감취었음이니라
  For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.

4. 우리 생명이신 그리스도께서 나타나실 그 때에 너희도 그와 함께 영광 중에 나타나리라
  When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

5. 그러므로 땅에 있는 지체를 죽이라 곧 음란과 부정과 사욕과 악한 정욕과 탐심이니 탐심은 우상 숭배니라
  Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.

6. 이것들을 인하여 하나님의 진노가 임하느니라
  Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.

7. 너희도 전에 그 가운데 살 때에는 그 가운데서 행하였으나
  You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived.

8. 이제는 너희가 이 모든 것을 벗어 버리라 곧 분과 악의와 훼방과 너희 입의 부끄러운 말이라
  But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.

9. 너희가 서로 거짓말을 말라 옛사람과 그 행위를 벗어 버리고
  Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices

10. 새 사람을 입었으니 이는 자기를 창조하신 자의 형상을 좇아 지식에까지 새롭게 하심을 받는 자니라
  and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.

11. 거기는 헬라인과 유대인이나 할례당과 무할례당이나 야인이나 스구디아인이나 종이나 자유인이 분별이 있을 수 없나니 오직 그리스도는 만유시요 만유 안에 계시니라
  Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.

12. 그러므로 너희는 하나님의 택하신 거룩하고 사랑하신 자처럼 긍휼과 자비와 겸손과 온유와 오래 참음을 옷입고
  Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

13. 누가 뉘게 혐의가 있거든 서로 용납하여 피차 용서하되 주께서 너희를 용서하신 것과 같이 너희도 그리하고
  Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

14. 이 모든 것 위에 사랑을 더하라 이는 온전하게 매는 띠니라
  And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

15. 그리스도의 평강이 너희 마음을 주장하게 하라 평강을 위하여 너희가 한 몸으로 부르심을 받았나니 또한 너희는 감사하는 자가 되라
  Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.

16. 그리스도의 말씀이 너희 속에 풍성히 거하여 모든 지혜로 피차 가르치며 권면하고 시와 찬미와 신령한 노래를 부르며 마음에 감사함으로 하나님을 찬양하고
  Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.

17. 또 무엇을 하든지 말에나 일에나 다 주 예수의 이름으로 하고 그를 힘입어 하나님 아버지께 감사하라
  And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

18. 아내들아 남편에게 복종하라 이는 주 안에서 마땅하니라
  Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

19. 남편들아 아내를 사랑하며 괴롭게 하지 말라
  Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.

20. 자녀들아 모든 일에 부모에게 순종하라 이는 주 안에서 기쁘게 하는 것이니라
  Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.

21. 아비들아 너희 자녀를 격노케 말찌니 낙심할까 함이라
  Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged.

22. 종들아 모든 일에 육신의 상전들에게 순종하되 사람을 기쁘게 하는 자와 같이 눈가림만 하지 말고 오직 주를 두려워하여 성실한 마음으로 하라
  Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to win their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord.

23. 무슨 일을 하든지 마음을 다하여 주께 하듯 하고 사람에게 하듯 하지 말라
  Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men,

24. 이는 유업의 상을 주께 받을 줄 앎이니 너희는 주 그리스도를 섬기느니라
  since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

25. 불의를 행하는 자는 불의의 보응을 받으리니 주는 외모로 사람을 취하심이 없느니라
  Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for his wrong, and there is no favoritism.

에스겔 46

1. 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 안뜰 동향한 문을 일하는 육 일 동안에는 닫되 안식일에는 열며 월삭에도 열고
  "'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: The gate of the inner court facing east is to be shut on the six working days, but on the Sabbath day and on the day of the New Moon it is to be opened.

2. 왕은 바깥문 현관을 통하여 들어와서 문 벽 곁에 서고 제사장은 그를 위하여 번제와 감사제를 드릴 것이요 왕은 문통에서 경배한 후에 밖으로 나가고 그 문은 저녁까지 닫지 말 것이며
  The prince is to enter from the outside through the portico of the gateway and stand by the gatepost. The priests are to sacrifice his burnt offering and his fellowship offerings. He is to worship at the threshold of the gateway and then go out, but the gate will not be shut until evening.

3. 이 땅 백성도 안식일과 월삭에 이 문통에서 나 여호와 앞에 경배할 것이며
  On the Sabbaths and New Moons the people of the land are to worship in the presence of the LORD at the entrance to that gateway.

4. 안식일에 왕이 여호와께 드릴 번제는 흠 없는 어린 양 여섯과 흠없는 수양 하나라
  The burnt offering the prince brings to the LORD on the Sabbath day is to be six male lambs and a ram, all without defect.

5. 그 소제는 수양 하나에는 밀가루 한 에바요 모든 어린 양에는 그 힘대로 할 것이며 밀가루 한 에바에는 기름 한 힌씩이니라
  The grain offering given with the ram is to be an ephah, and the grain offering with the lambs is to be as much as he pleases, along with a hin of oil for each ephah.

6. 월삭에는 흠 없는 수송아지 하나와 어린 양 여섯과 수양 하나를 드리되 모두 흠 없는 것으로 할 것이며
  On the day of the New Moon he is to offer a young bull, six lambs and a ram, all without defect.

7. 또 소제를 갖추되 수송아지에는 밀가루 한 에바요 수양에도 밀가루 한 에바며 모든 어린 양에는 그 힘대로 할 것이요 밀가루 한 에바에는 기름 한 힌씩이며
  He is to provide as a grain offering one ephah with the bull, one ephah with the ram, and with the lambs as much as he wants to give, along with a hin of oil with each ephah.

8. 왕이 올 때에는 이 문 현관을 통하여 들어오고 나갈 때에도 그리 할찌니라
  When the prince enters, he is to go in through the portico of the gateway, and he is to come out the same way.

9. 그러나 모든 정한 절기에 이 땅 거민이 나 여호와 앞에 나아올 때에는 북문으로 들어와서 경배하는 자는 남문으로 나가고 남문으로 들어오는 자는 북문으로 나갈찌라 들어온 문으로 도로 나가지 말고 그 몸이 앞으로 향한대로 나갈찌며
  "'When the people of the land come before the LORD at the appointed feasts, whoever enters by the north gate to worship is to go out the south gate; and whoever enters by the south gate is to go out the north gate. No one is to return through the gate by which he entered, but each is to go out the opposite gate.

10. 왕은 무리 가운데 있어서 그들의 들어올 때에 들어오고 그들의 나갈 때에 나갈찌니라
  The prince is to be among them, going in when they go in and going out when they go out.

11. 절기와 성회 때에 그 소제는 수송아지 하나에 밀가루 한 에바요 수양 하나에도 한 에바요 모든 어린 양에는 그 힘대로 할 것이며 밀가루 한 에바에는 기름 한 힌씩이며
  "'At the festivals and the appointed feasts, the grain offering is to be an ephah with a bull, an ephah with a ram, and with the lambs as much as one pleases, along with a hin of oil for each ephah.

12. 만일 왕이 자원하여 번제를 갖추거나 혹 자원하여 감사제를 갖추어 나 여호와께 드릴 때에는 그를 위하여 동향한 문을 열고 그가 번제와 감사제를 안식일에 드림 같이 드리고 밖으로 나갈찌며 나간 후에 문을 닫을찌니라
  When the prince provides a freewill offering to the LORD--whether a burnt offering or fellowship offerings--the gate facing east is to be opened for him. He shall offer his burnt offering or his fellowship offerings as he does on the Sabbath day. Then he shall go out, and after he has gone out, the gate will be shut.

13. 아침마다 일 년 되고 흠 없는 어린 양 하나로 번제를 갖추어 나 여호와께 드리고
  "'Every day you are to provide a year-old lamb without defect for a burnt offering to the LORD; morning by morning you shall provide it.

14. 또 아침마다 그것과 함께 드릴 소제를 갖추되 곧 밀가루 에바 육분지 일과 기름 힌 삼분지 일을 섞을 것이니 이는 영원한 규례를 삼아 항상 나 여호와께 드릴 소제라
  You are also to provide with it morning by morning a grain offering, consisting of a sixth of an ephah with a third of a hin of oil to moisten the flour. The presenting of this grain offering to the LORD is a lasting ordinance.

15. 이와 같이 아침마다 그 어린 양과 밀가루와 기름을 갖추어 항상 드리는 번제를 삼을찌니라
  So the lamb and the grain offering and the oil shall be provided morning by morning for a regular burnt offering.

16. 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 왕이 만일 한 아들에게 선물을 준즉 그의 기업이 되어 그 자손에게 속하나니 이는 그 기업을 이어 받음이어니와
  "'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: If the prince makes a gift from his inheritance to one of his sons, it will also belong to his descendants; it is to be their property by inheritance.

17. 왕이 만일 그 기업으로 한 종에게 선물로 준즉 그 종에게 속하여 희년까지 이르고 그 후에는 왕에게로 돌아갈 것이니 왕의 기업은 그 아들이 이어 받을 것임이니라
  If, however, he makes a gift from his inheritance to one of his servants, the servant may keep it until the year of freedom; then it will revert to the prince. His inheritance belongs to his sons only; it is theirs.

18. 왕은 백성의 기업을 취하여 그 산업에서 쫓아내지 못할찌니 왕이 자기 아들에게 기업으로 줄 것은 자기 산업으로만 할 것임이니라 백성으로 각각 그 산업을 떠나 흩어지지 않게 할 것이니라
  The prince must not take any of the inheritance of the people, driving them off their property. He is to give his sons their inheritance out of his own property, so that none of my people will be separated from his property.'"

19. 그 후에 그가 나를 데리고 문 곁 통행구로 말미암아 제사장의 북향한 거룩한 방에 들어가시니 그 방 뒤 서편에 한 처소가 있더라
  Then the man brought me through the entrance at the side of the gate to the sacred rooms facing north, which belonged to the priests, and showed me a place at the western end.

20. 그가 내게 이르시되 이는 제사장이 속건제와 속죄제 희생을 삶으며 소제제물을 구울 처소니 그들이 이 성물을 가지고 바깥뜰에 나가면 백성을 거룩하게 할까 함이니라 하시고
  He said to me, "This is the place where the priests will cook the guilt offering and the sin offering and bake the grain offering, to avoid bringing them into the outer court and consecrating the people."

21. 나를 데리고 바깥뜰로 나가서 나로 뜰 네 구석을 지나가게 하시는데 본즉 그 뜰 매구석에 또 뜰이 있는데
  He then brought me to the outer court and led me around to its four corners, and I saw in each corner another court.

22. 뜰 네 구석에 있는 그 뜰에 담이 둘렸으니 뜰의 장이 사십 척이요 광이 삼십 척이라 구석의 네 뜰이 한 척수며
  In the four corners of the outer court were enclosed courts, forty cubits long and thirty cubits wide; each of the courts in the four corners was the same size.

23. 그 작은 네 뜰 사면으로 돌아가며 부엌이 있고 그 사면 부엌에 삶는 기구가 설비되었는데
  Around the inside of each of the four courts was a ledge of stone, with places for fire built all around under the ledge.

24. 그가 내게 이르시되 이는 삶는 부엌이니 전에 수종드는 자가 백성의 제물을 여기서 삶을 것이니라 하시더라
  He said to me, "These are the kitchens where those who minister at the temple will cook the sacrifices of the people."

시편 102

1. 여호와여 내 기도를 들으시고 나의 부르짖음을 주께 상달케 하소서
  A prayer of an afflicted man. When he is faint and pours out his lament before the LORD. Hear my prayer, O LORD; let my cry for help come to you.

2. 나의 괴로운 날에 주의 얼굴을 내게 숨기지 마소서 주의 귀를 기울이사 내가 부르짖는 날에 속히 내게 응답하소서
  Do not hide your face from me when I am in distress. Turn your ear to me; when I call, answer me quickly.

3. 대저 내 날이 연기같이 소멸하며 내 뼈가 냉과리같이 탔나이다
  For my days vanish like smoke; my bones burn like glowing embers.

4. 내가 음식 먹기도 잊었음으로 내 마음이 풀같이 쇠잔하였사오며
  My heart is blighted and withered like grass; I forget to eat my food.

5. 나의 탄식 소리를 인하여 나의 살이 뼈에 붙었나이다
  Because of my loud groaning I am reduced to skin and bones.

6. 나는 광야의 당아새 같고 황폐한 곳의 부엉이같이 되었사오며
  I am like a desert owl, like an owl among the ruins.

7. 내가 밤을 새우니 지붕 위에 외로운 참새 같으니이다
  I lie awake; I have become like a bird alone on a roof.

8. 내 원수들이 종일 나를 훼방하며 나를 대하여 미칠 듯이 날치는 자들이 나를 가리켜 맹세하나이다
  All day long my enemies taunt me; those who rail against me use my name as a curse.

9. 나는 재를 양식같이 먹으며 나의 마심에는 눈물을 섞었사오니
  For I eat ashes as my food and mingle my drink with tears

10. 이는 주의 분과 노를 인함이라 주께서 나를 드셨다가 던지셨나이다
  because of your great wrath, for you have taken me up and thrown me aside.

11. 내 날이 기울어지는 그림자 같고 내가 풀의 쇠잔함 같으니이다
  My days are like the evening shadow; I wither away like grass.

12. 여호와여 주는 영원히 계시고 주의 기념 명칭은 대대에 이르리이다
  But you, O LORD, sit enthroned forever; your renown endures through all generations.

13. 주께서 일어나사 시온을 긍휼히 여기시리니 지금은 그를 긍휼히 여기실 때라 정한 기한이 옴이니이다
  You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her; the appointed time has come.

14. 주의 종들이 시온의 돌들을 즐거워하며 그 티끌도 연휼히 여기나이다
  For her stones are dear to your servants; her very dust moves them to pity.

15. 이에 열방이 여호와의 이름을 경외하며 세계 열왕이 주의 영광을 경외하리니
  The nations will fear the name of the LORD, all the kings of the earth will revere your glory.

16. 대저 여호와께서 시온을 건설하시고 그 영광 중에 나타나셨음이라
  For the LORD will rebuild Zion and appear in his glory.

17. 여호와께서 빈궁한 자의 기도를 돌아보시며 저희 기도를 멸시치 아니하셨도다
  He will respond to the prayer of the destitute; he will not despise their plea.

18. 이 일이 장래 세대를 위하여 기록되리니 창조함을 받을 백성이 여호와를 찬송하리로다
  Let this be written for a future generation, that a people not yet created may praise the LORD:

19. 여호와께서 그 높은 성소에서 하감하시며 하늘에서 땅을 감찰하셨으니
  "The LORD looked down from his sanctuary on high, from heaven he viewed the earth,

20. 이는 갇힌 자의 탄식을 들으시며 죽이기로 정한 자를 해방하사
  to hear the groans of the prisoners and release those condemned to death."

21. 여호와의 이름을 시온에서, 그 영예를 예루살렘에서 선포케 하려 하심이라
  So the name of the LORD will be declared in Zion and his praise in Jerusalem

22. 때에 민족들과 나라들이 모여 여호와를 섬기리로다
  when the peoples and the kingdoms assemble to worship the LORD.

23. 저가 내 힘을 중도에 쇠약케 하시며 내 날을 단촉케 하셨도다
  In the course of my life he broke my strength; he cut short my days.

24. 나의 말이 나의 하나님이여 나의 중년에 나를 데려가지 마옵소서 주의 년대는 대대에 무궁하니이다
  So I said: "Do not take me away, O my God, in the midst of my days; your years go on through all generations.

25. 주께서 옛적에 땅의 기초를 두셨사오며 하늘도 주의 손으로 지으신 바니이다
  In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.

26. 천지는 없어지려니와 주는 영존하시겠고 그것들은 다 옷같이 낡으리니 의복같이 바꾸시면 바뀌려니와
  They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing you will change them and they will be discarded.

27. 주는 여상하시고 주의 년대는 무궁하리이다
  But you remain the same, and your years will never end.

28. 주의 종들의 자손이 항상 있고 그 후손이 주의 앞에 굳게 서리이다 하였도다
  The children of your servants will live in your presence; their descendants will be established before you."
