1. 다윗의 시, 영장으로 소산님에 맞춘 노래 하나님이여 나를 구원하소서 물들이 내 영혼까지 흘러 들어왔나이다

  I sink in deep mire , where there is no standing : I am come into deep waters , where the floods overflow me.

 

3. 내가 부르짖음으로 피곤하여 내 목이 마르며 내 하나님을 바람으로 내 눈이 쇠하였나이다

  I am weary of my crying : my throat is dried : mine eyes fail while I wait for my God .

 

4. 무고히 나를 미워하는 자가 내 머리털보다 많고 무리히 내 원수가 되어 나를 끊으려 하는 자가 강하였으니 내가 취치 아니한 것도 물어 주게 되었나이다

  They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head : they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully , are mighty : then I restored that which I took not away .

 

5. 하나님이여 나의 우매함을 아시오니 내 죄가 주의 앞에서 숨김이 없나이다

  O God , thou knowest my foolishness ; and my sins are not hid from thee.

 

6. 만군의 주 여호와여 주를 바라는 자로 나를 인하여 수치를 당케 마옵소서 이스라엘의 하나님이여 주를 찾는 자로 나를 인하여 욕을 당케 마옵소서

  Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord God of hosts , be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel .

 

7. 내가 주를 위하여 훼방을 받았사오니 수치가 내 얼굴에 덮였나이다

  Because for thy sake I have borne reproach ; shame hath covered my face .

 

8. 내가 내 형제에게는 객이 되고 내 모친의 자녀에게는 외인이 되었나이다

  I am become a stranger unto my brethren , and an alien unto my mother’s children .

 

9. 주의 집을 위하는 열성이 나를 삼키고 주를 훼방하는 훼방이 내게 미쳤나이다

  For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up ; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.

 

10. 내가 곡하고 금식함으로 내 영혼을 경계하였더니 그것이 도리어 나의 욕이 되었으며

  When I wept , and chastened my soul with fasting , that was to my reproach .

 

11. 내가 굵은 베로 내 옷을 삼았더니 내가 저희의 말거리가 되었나이다

  I made sackcloth also my garment ; and I became a proverb to them.

 

12. 성문에 앉은 자가 나를 말하며 취한 무리가 나를 가져 노래하나이다

  They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards .

 

13. 여호와여 열납하시는 때에 나는 주께 기도하오니 하나님이여 많은 인자와 구원의 진리로 내게 응답하소서

  But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O Lord , in an acceptable time : O God , in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation .

 

14. 나를 수렁에서 건지사 빠지지 말게 하시고 나를 미워하는 자에게서와 깊은 물에서 건지소서

  Deliver me out of the mire , and let me not sink : let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters .

 

15. 큰 물이 나를 엄몰하거나 깊음이 나를 삼키지 못하게 하시며 웅덩이로 내 위에 그 입을 닫지 못하게 하소서

  Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up , and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.

 

16. 여호와여 주의 인자하심이 선하시오니 내게 응답하시며 주의 많은 긍휼을 따라 내게로 돌이키소서

  Hear me, O Lord ; for thy lovingkindness is good : turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies .

 

17. 주의 얼굴을 주의 종에게서 숨기지 마소서 내가 환난 중에 있사오니 속히 내게 응답하소서

  And hide not thy face from thy servant ; for I am in trouble : hear me speedily .

 

18. 내 영혼에게 가까이 하사 구속하시며 내 원수를 인하여 나를 속량 하소서

  Draw nigh unto my soul , and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies .

 

19. 주께서 나의 훼방과 수치와 능욕을 아시나이다 내 대적이 다 주의 앞에 있나이다

  Thou hast known my reproach , and my shame , and my dishonour : mine adversaries are all before thee.

 

20. 훼방이 내 마음을 상하여 근심이 충만하니 긍휼히 여길 자를 바라나 없고 안위할 자를 바라나 찾지 못하였나이다

  Reproach hath broken my heart ; and I am full of heaviness : and I looked for some to take pity , but there was none; and for comforters , but I found none.

 

21. 저희가 쓸개를 나의 식물로 주며 갈할 때에 초로 마시웠사오니

  They gave me also gall for my meat ; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink .

 

22. 저희 앞에 밥상이 올무가 되게 하시며 저희 평안이 덫이 되게 하소서

  Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare , let it become a trap .

 

23. 저희 눈이 어두워 보지 못하게 하시며 그 허리가 항상 떨리게 하소서

  Let their eyes be darkened , that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake .

 

24. 주의 분노를 저희 위에 부으시며 주의 맹렬하신 노로 저희에게 미치게 하소서

  Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them.

 

25. 저희 거처로 황폐하게 하시며 그 장막에 거하는 자가 없게 하소서

  Let their habitation be desolate ; and let none dwell in their tents .

 

26. 대저 저희가 주의 치신 자를 핍박하며 주께서 상케 하신 자의 슬픔을 말하였사오니

  For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten ; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded .

 

27. 저희 죄악에 죄악을 더 정하사 주의 의에 들어오지 못하게 하소서

  Add iniquity unto their iniquity : and let them not come into thy righteousness .

 

28. 저희를 생명책에서 도말하사 의인과 함께 기록되게 마소서

  Let them be blotted out of the book of the living , and not be written with the righteous .

 

29. 오직 나는 가난하고 슬프오니 하나님이여 주의 구원으로 나를 높이소서

  But I am poor and sorrowful : let thy salvation , O God , set me up on high .

 

30. 내가 노래로 하나님의 이름을 찬송하며 감사함으로 하나님을 광대하시다 하리니

  I will praise the name of God with a song , and will magnify him with thanksgiving .

 

31. 이것이 소 곧 뿔과 굽이 있는 황소를 드림보다 여호와를 더욱 기쁘시게 함이 될 것이라

  This also shall please the Lord better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs .

 

32. 온유한 자가 이를 보고 기뻐하나니 하나님을 찾는 너희들아 너희 마음을 소생케 할지어다

  The humble shall see this, and be glad : and your heart shall live that seek God .

 

33. 여호와는 궁핍한 자를 들으시며 자기를 인하여 수금된 자를 멸시치 아니하시나니

  For the Lord heareth the poor , and despiseth not his prisoners .

 

34. 천지가 그를 찬송할 것이요 바다와 그 중의 모든 동물도 그리할지로다

  Let the heaven and earth praise him, the seas , and every thing that moveth therein.

 

35. 하나님이 시온을 구원하시고 유다 성읍들을 건설하시리니 무리가 거기 거하여 소유를 삼으리로다

  For God will save Zion , and will build the cities of Judah : that they may dwell there, and have it in possession .

 

36. 그 종들의 후손이 또한 이를 상속하고 그 이름을 사랑하는 자가 그 중에 거하리로다

  The seed also of his servants shall inherit it: and they that love his name shall dwell therein.

【시69:1 JFB】시69:1-36. Upon Shoshannim—(See on 시45:1, title). Mingling the language of prayer and complaint, the sufferer, whose condition is here set forth, pleads for God's help as one suffering in His cause, implores the divine retribution on his malicious enemies, and, viewing his deliverance as sure, promises praise by himself, and others, to whom God will extend like blessings. This Psalm is referred to seven times in the New Testament as prophetical of Christ and the gospel times. Although the character in which the Psalmist appears to some in 시69:5 is that of a sinner, yet his condition as a sufferer innocent of alleged crimes sustains the typical character of the composition, and it may be therefore regarded throughout, as the twenty-second, as typically expressive of the feelings of our Saviour in the flesh.

come in unto my soul—literally, "come even to my soul," endanger my life by drowning (욘2:5).

 

【시69:1 CWC】The first half dozen of these Psalms form a group millennial and Messianic. The first is millennial. It is Israel who speaks, and the Psalm cannot be appreciated except as the word "us" in verse 1 is so applied. When God has mercy upon and blesses Israel in the latter days, His way will begin to be known upon earth, and His saving health unto all nations (v. 2). In other words, the present age is one of out-gathering, but the age to come (millennial) will be one of in-gathering. God is now calling out a people for His Name from all the nations to form the Church, the body of Christ; but then He will be gathering all the nations to Him through the witness and ministry of Israel. This is the age of the evangelism of the nations, that the age of their conversion.
Why will the people be praising God in that day? Let verse 4 answer. It will, however, not only be a day of righteous governing, but one of great material prosperity (v. 6). The cause of it all is again expressed (v. 7).
The Scofield Bible teaches that Psalm 68, which some think to have been composed at the bringing up of the ark, is from the prophetic view, entirely pervaded by the joy of Israel in the Kingdom, but a strict order of events begins with verse 18 which in 엡4:7-16 is quoted of Christ's ascension ministry. Verses 21-23 refer to the regathering of Israel and the destruction of the Anti-christ and his armies, while verses 24-35 describe the universal Kingdom blessing.
Psalm 69.
Is Messianic as judged by the New Testament quotations indicated in the margin. It is the Psalm of Christ's humiliation and rejection (vv. 4, 7, 8, 10-12). Verses 14-20 point to Gethsemane, and verse 21 to the cross. The imprecatory verses 22-28, may refer to the present judicial blindness of Israel, verse 25 having special reference to Judas (행1:20), who is typical of his generation which shared his guilt.
Psalm 72.
Is also Messianic. Whether composed by, or for, Solomon (see title), "a greater than Solomon is here." Millennial expressions prevail throughout, for it is a Psalm of the King when He comes in His kingdom. The difference in the imagery between this and Psalm 2 will be observed, but both conditions as thus outlined will prevail in the millennial age. That of Psalm 2 precedes that of this Psalm and makes this possible. There is difficulty in applying verse 15 to Christ as it speaks of prayer being "made for him," unless we translate "for" by "to" as some have ventured to do, although without good authority.
Book 2 ends at this point, the opening of Book 3 being marked by a number of Psalms ascribed to Asaph of whose history nothing is known, except as 대하35:15 and 스2:41 enlighten us.
The first of the Psalms of Asaph (73) is the most familiar, and suggests the language of Job and Jeremiah under similar circumstances (see 렘12:1-4). The psalmist is complaining of the prosperity of the wicked and the affliction of the righteous; but as his eye of faith is opened to the sudden and fearful ruin of the former his misgivings are removed; and in the reassurance of his heart he chides himself for his folly and praises God's love.
The opening verse is the conclusion at which he arrives at the close, although it is stated first. He had nearly fallen into infidelity (v. 2), the reasons for which are stated (vv. 3-12). It seemed as if there were no use in being good (vv. 13, 14). He wisely kept his complainings to himself however (v. 15); and when he came to know God better, which is the meaning of verse 16, he understood the enigma (vv. 1820). His confession of the sin of unbelief follows (vv. 21, 22), and then the renewal of his faith and confidence to the end.
Some think Psalms 75 and 76 belong together, the one anticipating what the other commemorates, viz., the divine deliverance of Israel from their enemies on some signal occasion. Possibly 왕하19:35 and Isaiah Z7 throw light upon them.
Psalm 78.
Is applied by some, to the removal of the sanctuary from Shiloh in the tribe of Ephraim to Zion, of Judah; and consequently, the transfer of eminence from the former to the latter tribe. Though this transfer was God's purpose from the beginning, yet the psalmist shows it to have been a divine judgment on Ephraim under whose leadership the people had shown the sinful and rebellious character that had distinguished their ancestors in Egypt. Read in this light, the Psalm becomes doubly interesting and instructive.

 

【시69:1 MHCC】We should frequently consider the person of the Sufferer here spoken of, and ask why, as well as what he suffered, that, meditating thereon, we may be more humbled for sin, and more convinced of our danger, so that we may feel more gratitude and love, constraining us to live to His glory who died for our salvation. Hence we learn, when in affliction, to commit the keeping of our souls to God, that we may not be soured with discontent, or sink into despair. David was hated wrongfully, but the words far more fully apply to Christ. In a world where unrighteousness reigns so much, we must not wonder if we meet with those that are our enemies wrongfully. Let us take care that we never do wrong; then if we receive wrong, we may the better bear it. By the satisfaction Christ made to God for our sin by his blood, he restored that which he took not away, he paid our debt, suffered for our offences. Even when we can plead Not guilty, as to men's unjust accusations, yet before God we must acknowledge ourselves to deserve all that is brought upon us. All our sins take rise from our foolishness. They are all done in God's sight. David complains of the unkindness of friends and relations. This was fulfilled in Christ, whose brethren did not believe on him, and who was forsaken by his disciples. Christ made satisfaction for us, not only by putting off the honours due to God, but by submitting to the greatest dishonours that could be done to any man. We need not be discouraged if our zeal for the truths, precepts, and worship of God, should provoke some, and cause others to mock our godly sorrow and deadness to the world.

【시69:5 JFB】5. This may be regarded as an appeal, vindicating his innocence, as if he had said, "If sinful, thou knowest," &c. Though David's condition as a sufferer may typify Christ's, without requiring that a parallel be found in character.

【시69:7 JFB】7-12. This plea contemplates his relation to God as a sufferer in His cause. Reproach, domestic estrangement (막3:21; 요7:5), exhaustion in God's service (요2:17), revilings and taunts of base men were the sufferings.

 

【시69:10 JFB】10. wept (and chastened) my soul—literally, "wept away my soul," a strongly figurative description of deep grief.

【시69:13 JFB】13-15. With increasing reliance on God, he prays for help, describing his distress in the figures of 시69:1, 2.

 

【시69:13 MHCC】Whatever deep waters of affliction or temptation we sink into, whatever floods of trouble or ungodly men seem ready to overwhelm us, let us persevere in prayer to our Lord to save us. The tokens of God's favour to us are enough to keep our spirits from sinking in the deepest outward troubles. If we think well of God, and continue to do so under the greatest hardships, we need not fear but he will do well for us. And if at any time we are called on to suffer reproach and shame, for Christ's sake, this may be our comfort, that he knows it. It bears hard on one that knows the worth of a good name, to be oppressed with a bad one; but when we consider what a favour it is to be accounted worthy to suffer shame for the name of Jesus, we shall see that there is no reason why it should be heart-breaking to us. The sufferings of Christ were here particularly foretold, which proves the Scripture to be the word of God; and how exactly these predictions were fulfilled in Jesus Christ, which proves him to be the true Messiah. The vinegar and the gall given to him, were a faint emblem of that bitter cup which he drank up, that we might drink the cup of salvation. We cannot expect too little from men, miserable comforters are they all; nor can we expect too much from the God of all comfort and consolation.

 

【시69:16 JFB】16-18. These earnest terms are often used, and the address to God, as indifferent or averse, is found in 시3:7; 22:24; 27:9, &c.

 

【시69:19 JFB】19, 20. Calling God to witness his distress, he presents its aggravation produced by the want of sympathizing friends (compare 사63:5; 막14:50).

 

【시69:21 JFB】21. Instead of such, his enemies increase his pain by giving him most distasteful food and drink. The Psalmist may have thus described by figure what Christ found in reality (compare 요19:29, 30).

 

【시69:22 JFB】22, 23. With unimportant verbal changes, this language is used by Paul to describe the rejection of the Jews who refused to receive the Saviour (롬11:9, 10). The purport of the figures used is that blessings shall become curses, the "table" of joy (as one of food) a "snare," their
welfare—literally, "peaceful condition," or security, a "trap." Darkened eyes and failing strength complete the picture of the ruin falling on them under the invoked retribution.

 

【시69:22 MHCC】These are prophecies of the destruction of Christ's persecutors. Verses #(22, 23), are applied to the judgments of God upon the unbelieving Jews, in 롬11:9, 10. When the supports of life and delights of sense, through the corruption of our nature, are made the food and fuel of sin, then our table is a snare. Their sin was, that they would not see, but shut their eyes against the light, loving darkness rather; their punishment was, that they should not see, but should be given up to their own hearts' lusts which hardened them. Those who reject God's great salvation proffered to them, may justly fear that his indignation will be poured out upon them. If men will sin, the Lord will reckon for it. But those that have multiplied to sin, may yet find mercy, through the righteousness of the Mediator. God shuts not out any from that righteousness; the gospel excludes none who do not, by unbelief, shut themselves out. But those who are proud and self-willed, so that they will not come in to God's righteousness, shall have their doom accordingly; they themselves decide it. Let those not expect any benefit thereby, who are not glad to be beholden to it. It is better to be poor and sorrowful, with the blessing of the Lord, than rich and jovial, and under his curse. This may be applied to Christ. He was, when on earth, a man of sorrows that had not where to lay his head; but God exalted him. Let us call upon the Lord, and though poor and sorrowful, guilty and defiled, his salvation will set us up on high.

【시69:30 JFB】30, 31. Spiritual are better than mere material offerings (시40:6; 50:8); hence a promise of the former, and rather contemptuous terms are used of the latter.

 

【시69:30 MHCC】The psalmist concludes the psalm with holy joy and praise, which he began with complaints of his grief. It is a great comfort to us, that humble and thankful praises are more pleasing to God than the most costly, pompous sacrifices. The humble shall look to him, and be glad; those that seek him through Christ shall live and be comforted. God will do great things for the gospel church, in which let all who wish well to it rejoice. A seed shall serve him on earth, and his servants shall inherit his heavenly kingdom. Those that love his name shall dwell before him for ever. He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Arise, thou great Restorer of the ancient places to dwell in, and turn away ungodliness from thy people.

【시69:34 JFB】34-36. The call on the universe for praise is well sustained by the prediction of the perpetual and extended blessings which shall come upon the covenant-people of God. Though, as usual, the imagery is taken from terms used of Palestine, the whole tenor of the context indicates that the spiritual privileges and blessings of the Church are meant.
